(Naruto Rocks!)
『A lot of people are aggravated by the filler episodes before Shippuuden begins, but I find them entertaining and yes somewhat eye roll worthy at times. But that's okay because you know that once Shippuuden rolls around there won't be anymore filler episodes like these again. That's why I didn't mind them at all.』

(Naruto Box Set 13)
『The series isn't as good after season (box set)...10 i think, but still a great anime』

(Another in a line of great Box Sets)
『If you're a fan of Naruto, you won't be disappointed with this box set. Starting off with the goofy Ramen Making Episode, and ending with another fun one, this set is great from start to finish.

If you're not a fan, I'd recommend watching the first few episodes to see if you'd like it.

This one comes with another package of playing cards, contributing to a whole deck.』

(playing cards?)
『I'm just wondering if this one comes with the next set of playing cards, because I don't want only part of the set. Can anyone tell me? Thanks in advance! :)

(Good series, but wish the bonus features were stronger)
『Bleach: The Entry Season Two box set is a five disc set that contains twenty-one episodes. The first four discs contain four episodes and bonus features, while the fifth disc contains five episodes and bonus features.

On the first disc, there are four extras. The first extra is "Production Art," which is nineteen pages of line art of the characters that appear on this disc. The second feature is "Manga Preview," which includes ads for Bleach and other Shonen Jump manga titles, as well as an ad for Shonen Jump magazine. The next feature is "Clean Ending," which is a textless version of the first closing theme that appears in this box set. The final extra on the disc is "Shonen Jump Home Video," which contains previews for Naruto, Hikaru no Go, and One Piece.

The second disc has production art, which is eighteen pages of line art of the characters, locations, and weapons that appear on this disc. The "Manga Preview" and the "Shonen Jump Home Video" extras are exactly the same as the features that appear on disc one. The "Clean Ending" on this disc is a textless version of the second ending that appears in this box set.

The production art of disc three is fifteen pages of line art of the characters that appear on this disc. The "Manga Preview" and the "Shonen Jump Home Video" extras are exactly the same as the features that appear on disc one. The "Clean Ending" has the same song as the ending that appears on disc two, but the animation is different.

The fourth disc has production art, which is fourteen pages of line art of the characters and weapons that appear on this disc. The "Manga Preview" highlights some different titles than the feature that appeared on the previous three discs. The "Shonen Jump Home Video" feature is exactly that same as what appeared on the previous three discs. The "Clean Ending" has the same song as discs two and three, but the animation is unique.

On the fifth disc, the production art consists of twenty pages of line art of the characters that appear on the disc. The "Manga Preview" is different from any of the manga previews that appeared on the previous four discs. There are two different endings in the "Clean Ending" feature. The first is the same song that appeared on discs two through four, but the animation is unique from the previous three discs it appeared on. The second clean ending is a textless version of the third ending song that appeared in this box set. The "Shonen Jump Home Video" feature on this disc includes previews for Bleach the Movie and Naruto the Movie. The final feature of this disc is "Bonus: Behind the Scenes of Bleach." This is a roughly twenty-one minute feature of interviews with some of the English dub cast (the voices for Rukia, Renji, Byakuya, and Hanataro are interviewed). This final feature is definitely the best bonus feature in the whole set.

While I knew to expect the repetition of bonus features on this set after seeing the first season box set, I was still a little disappointed. Like with the first season set, perhaps Viz Media should have considered putting the extras on only one or two of the discs to minimize the repetition. And I still wonder why textless versions of the opening aren't included as bonus features in either set. Even though I'm a little disappointed by the bonus features, I would still recommend this box set to anyone who is a fan of the Bleach anime series.』

(Instantly one of my favorite seasons)
『Pretty much like my first review, the second season of Bleach was something to look forward to. And I can honestly say that season 2 is an instant favorite of mine. This season shows, for those who have watched or bought the first season, Ichigo and his friends stepping into the spirt realm to save Rukia from execution. Along the way, they encounter the Soul Reaper captains of the Soul Society on their way to save her. Again, each episode I watched got better and better; made it worth putting in the other discs because your need of wanting to know whats going to happen nexts starts kicking in. Introducing the Soul Reaper captains was cool and I already like about 4 of the captains because they pretty much stand for the defintion of "bad-ass". I highly recommend this season box set for all anime fans. Bleach is one anime worth watching.』

(2nd season.)
『I saw these episodes months before i bought this. It was fun catching up on episodes that had been forgotten. This and season 3 are some of my favorites.』

(bleach season 2 boxset)
『it is amazing a necessity for any bleach fan or anime fan i recommend it』

(Worth the cash for the quality)
『Again as I said with season 1. Very worth the money the video quality beats watching it free online any day. Comes with a poster inside for those looking for an extra.』
『Ichigo and his friends make the perilous journey to the Soul Society and are promptly set upon by the guardians of the spirit world. As they dodge one foe after another, they gradually draw nearer their goal: to rescue Rukia from the tower cell where she awaits her death sentence. But their presence threatens the very order of the Soul Society itself, and they must face the ultimate opponents--the captains of the guard squads whose Spiritual Pressure is unmatched, even by Ichigo himself!

Special Features Include:
* Bonus Materials: Behind the Scenes of BLEACH
* Bilingual (Japanese&English)
* Contains Episode 21-41 (Original and Uncut)』

『In the second season of the popular fantasy-adventureBleach, Ichigo,Chad, Ohime, Ishida, and Master Yoruichi the talking cat pass through the inter-dimensional portal linking Earth to the segregated world of the Soul Society. Lost souls are consigned to the run-down Rukon ("Drifting Spirit Town"), where Yoruichi obtains help from pyrotechnician Kukaku to get into the stronghold the Seireitei. Although the teen-agers have crossed space and time to rescue Rukia, no one knows where she's imprisoned--or where they are--in that city-sized compound. Ichigo and his new ally Ganju seize timid janitor Hanataro: He knows where Rukia is and secret ways to get there. Director Noriyuke Abe skillfully mixes overlapping movements, slow-motion, unusual camera angles, reverse colors, and black-and-white to heighten the drama of the sword fights between Ichigo's team and the bizarre-looking officers of the Soul Society. But the internal conflicts often prove more compelling than the external ones. Viewers learn why Chad never uses his awesome strength in his own interest; Ichigo discovers that he must use his sword as an ally, rather than as a tool. By submitting to Zangetsu, the spirit of the sword, he acquires greater power. ButBleachnever stays too serious for too long: Ichigo and Ganju squabble, even in dire straights, and an overhead shot of Ichigo fleeing a squad of Soul Reapers looks like a table-top Pac-Man game. The satisfying balancee of comedy, adventure, and well-choreographed battles has madeBleacha smash hit in Japan and America. (Rated "Teen," suitable for ages 13 and older: violence, grotesque imagery, brief nudity, alcohol use.)--Charles Solomon

(A great ending to a great series)
『I won't spoil anything with this comment (other than that this is the final season of Death Note). Death Note came on the air when Bleach was taking a break to dub the Japanese version. I was upset when Bleach went off and didn't want anything to do with this new "Death Note." I decided to watch since there was nothing else on TV at 11pm on Saturdays. This show is very interesting, and disturbing in its own way. It makes you think whether killing bad people is a sin or a heroic deed.
This season starts out slow (after the time skip, which should've been the real start of this season) but then it gets back on track like season one. The end is interesting (but kind of obvious). The show is a little violent for younger audiences (especially the finale) but is a MUST-SEE for anyone who thinks they can handle a psychological thriller of a show.』

(Great tv show.)
『lots of inteligence. so much so they write it with two ls. great ending to the series. must watch for all anime fans.』

(deathnote review)
『I've been an anime fan for a while now, and this by far is the darkest anime i've seen. It's really awesome. My eyes were glued to the screen the whole time. I highly recommend it .』

(Diana Canale)
『I love Death note, and iam very happy to have found you because the item i purchased is a very good deal. I can never find anything as good as that!
Thank you again!

(What if God was one of us? Just a serial killer on the bus...)
『In a dreary grey Limbo realm, gruesome angels of death -- "Shinigami" -- each possess a notebook in which they pen the names of humans destined to die as a result. To alleviate his boredom, one of these grim reapers called Ryuk not-so-accidentally drops his notebook into the mortal world where it is randomly discovered by an exceptionally clever 17-year-old Japanese high school student named Light Yagami, who opens it to find inscribed the following rule:

"The human whose name is written in this notebook shall die."

Light assumes that this must be someone's morbid prank but nonetheless takes the book home out of curiosity, soon testing it to confirm its lethal claim. He is initially horrified at the outcome but then decides he can secretly employ this fatal power to change the world "for the better" with the stroke of a pen. Hundreds of reported criminals soon begin dying under eerily similar circumstances, executed from afar by Light's dark justice. The unnaturally synchronized nature of these deaths does not go unnoticed by authorities; they commence a hunt for this mystery killer, whom the media dubs "Kira". Along with a special Japanese police task force and the FBI, a reclusive master detective known only as "L" is enlisted in the investigation.

But Light's deadly design does indeed begin to effect a transformation in the world as intended. The terrifying threat of punishment by Kira's invisible hand soon acts to discourage sinful behaviour, with a merciless end awaiting all those who defy Kira's will: words written in Light's book are final. Remaining unseen, Kira is feared by some, worshipped by others, and televangelists shortly spring up to preach in His name...

Sleuthing past the psychological thriller played at the story's surface, thematic parallels to the Judeo-Christian mythos reveal themselves explicitly enough in imagery of the show's opening sequence (first version). There's little symbolic subtlety in the name "Light": substituting with "God" wherever heard in lines from Ryuk or others lends a sharpened dual-meaning to "the search for Kira". (...Head toward the Light!) One Biblical allusion taunts, "L - do you know that gods of death love apples?" referring to the Shinigami's comically depicted dietary fetish, but by proxy may simultaneously characterize the wrathful Gardener of Eden as an infantile apple-hoarder: "We're dealing with an individual who has a very childish concept of right and wrong," observes L early on.

If a criminal is defined by the law maker, then the Death Note becomes an analog to the Bible -- a blacklisting book in which the sinner's damning epithet is framed by the author's prescribed Commandments. "No matter what world [religion], the god of that world creates the rules," Light unapologetically muses in internal monologue. The storyline then indirectly raises the question, if a human really were somehow endowed with supernatural power and was to act in exactly the same vindictive capacity Biblically attributed to God, why is only the human surrogate deemed a despicably immoral character? (...The familiar "God as a mass murderer" analogy, re: global flooding and other Bible calamity.)

Loathesomely deceitful, Light Yagami doesn't even qualify as an anti-hero. His remorseless, scheming betrayal of trust educed from a slain investigator's grieving fiancée is utterly heartbreaking. His self-serving manipulation of two endlessly loyal girlfriends, both of whose lives he treats as disposable, elicits raw contempt. Along his slide to the Dark Side, he casually contemplates executing entire crowds of bystanders if necessary to protecting his identity:"In the worst case, I may have to kill everyone there," he indifferently calculates of a busy shopping district. When Ryuk suggests that Light's murderous social engineering masterplan will render Light alone the grandest practitioner of worldly evil -- a veritable death god -- Light's oblivious reply echoes the special pleading of religious apologists with a flat ontological declaration of his own alleged goodness: if 'might makes right', then surely the almighty can do no wrong. Maniacally egotistical, Light envisions himself not as a mass murderer but as the morally justified "god of thenew world" despite behaving wickedly as a devil; Kira's most crazed admirers, meanwhile, openly regard him as God incarnate.

Featured at the front end of this Vol.2 box set is the standout best episode of the series, "Silence". A scene crystalizing the title subject has 'L' standing solitary on a rainy skyscraper rooftop listening for the faint sound of... something elusively distant, flanked by dish antennae aimed toward the crying heavens which all seem likewise poised to listen intently. Under the downpour, L has difficulty hearing Light's summoning voice, while Light is unable to discern any distant sound... Is there a god in cosmic attendance, or only silence?

Later, there's an orchestral scene where Light decides to exercise no further restraint in creating his proclaimed "perfect world", executing an offensive multitude in a single ruthless penmanship performance from atop the nighted tower, as if divinely conducting the "rotten"-apple world below. In the aftermath of his savagely realized Judgement Day, the closing stretch of the series would then seem to offer that if God exists, He is the Devil (or else insane), to be ultimately defeated by reason (per Near's insistence) rather than violence.

I've shown this anime to several friends who happen to be Catholic. They sort of smirked at the first few episodes, dismissing the power-fantasy premise as mildly preposterous. "Ah, so you agree it's absurd to imagine that an ominous supernatural entity would drop a Book filled with arbitrary damnation rules onto the Earth," I said, dropping a black leather-bound Bible in front of them -- it even has a cross on the cover, not unlike the "DEATH + NOTE" title screen. This was predictably answered with... Silence.

As far as the detective work of the main plot goes, there are some questionable moments where prophetic deductions by the young prodigy characters are managed from mere scraps of information, approaching uncomfortably close to clairvoyance; where rules for using the Death Note seem to multiply innumerably via intricate caveats for Light's exploiting convenience, surpassing even the Shinigamis' own expressed knowledge of their notebooks' functional capabilities; where this teenaged killer is able to spontaneously spin complex lies and then elaborates in voiceover mode on their far-reaching foolproof facets; where the stacking of suspicion seems too easily forgiven despite independent evidence repeatedly pointing to the same guilty conclusion; and where the otherwise meticulously composed serial killer seems to suddenly behave desperately out of character when cornered.

Regardless of those scattered quibbles, this remains the most logically exacting, intelligently scripted, philosophically weighty anime I've seen yet (perhaps cerebrally besting even "Ghost In The Shell"), twisting with brilliant flashes of dagger-edged suspense, and also shines with spectacular English dubbing (outdoing the original Japanese), presented here in a darkly elegant DVD package that together with Death Note box set Vol.1 earns my most enthusiastic recommendation.

(Rated "T+" for older teens. Bloody violence and disturbing content. May provoke thinking.)

(Hmmmm.)
『I am baisically puzzled. I ordered the set and didn't get the product, but later I had gotten it refunded back without an explanation. Not good on delivery on the product but at least I got my money back』

(Naruto Vol. 3)
『Naruto Vol.3 is the beginning of the best part of the Naruto series. It starts at the second part of the Chuunin Exams. This is where the genins must work in teams of three to traverse the forest of death. It is also where the super villian, Orochimaru, is introduced. The DVD is great. There aren't really any significant special features, but the subtitles are near to the fan subs. Which is important if you're like me and don't like the mostly cheesy English dub. If you like Naruto, this is a must have.』

(KEEPS GETTING BETTER.....)
『I love this season from the beginning when they all get challenged in the Forest of Death....Almost done w/ this season and looking forward to Season 4.』

(The third DVD box set for Naruto)
『Naruto Uncut Box Set 3 is a three DVD set that contains episodes twenty-six through thirty-eight of Naruto. The first disc contains five episodes, the second disc contains four episodes, and the third disc contains four episodes and the special features. I have to say that, unlike Naruto Uncut Box Set 2, this set is more enjoyable to watch; the story isn't being stretched out a ridiculous amount, so it actually progresses at a decent pace.

The first extra included in this DVD set is labeled as "Production Art." This consists of ten pages, and all ten pages are model sketches of some of the Naruto characters. There is also "From Sketch to Screen," which contains eight pages of storyboards from episode thirty-three. You can also see the English credits in the "Extras" menu. These are the exact same English version of the credits that appears on the first two DVD sets of Naruto. This, of course, means that there is no bed music to accompany the credits, so you just watch text crawl up the screen in complete silence.

There is a sneak preview of Naruto Uncut Box Set 4, which runs a little over three-and-a-half minutes. A link labeled "Shonen Jump Home Video" is a link to three trailers: Bleach, Hikaru no Go, and One Piece. The "Shonen Jump Magazine" link includes an advertisement for Shonen Jump Magazine, an advertisement for the Naruto manga, and two advertisements for other Shonen Jump manga titles.

Just like the first two box sets, I was rather disappointed with the special features included on this set. While I basically knew to expect these extras, since they're the same kinds that are on the first two sets, I kept hoping that perhaps Viz Media would go to a little more effort with the extras this time.

If you're a Naruto fan and want to collect the episodes on DVD, then the Naruto Uncut Box Set 3 would be a good addition to your DVD library.』

(great item high price)
『This item is great and I acually paid the price for it. Then I about kicked myself when I found this at Walmart for $24 oh well』
『The squad mates face their deadliest challenge yet as the Chunin Exam continues. Deep in the Forest of Death, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura must battle their rival Genin to collect the scrolls of Heaven and Earth. It's no easy task, but is there an even darker force at work? Something evil is afoot, and it's after Sasuke!』
『The second season of the popular comedy-adventureNarutobegins with the second round of the Chunin exams. To reintroduce the main characters, the eternally impatient Naruto Uzumaki starts the show "27 minutes early--in the time slot ofThe Prince of Tennis"--so everyone has to scramble to fill the time until the videotape arrives. But once this very silly introduction concludes, the tone of the series darkens and the relationships grow more complicated. Brooding, beetle-browed Rock Lee reveals his affection for Sakura, just as she's coming to terms with her former best friend (and rival for Sasuke's affection) Ino. Sakura and Sasuke grudgingly gain a little respect for Naruto--when he's not annoying them by shooting off his big mouth. But the most significant development is the emergence of the villain Orochimaru, a reptilian character with a prehensile tongue Gene Simmons would envy. One of the most notorious and deadly criminals in ninja history, Orochimaru is drawn to Sasuke's extraordinary abilities, and he plans to ensnare the young ninja as an accomplice. Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke fail to grasp the seriousness of Orochimaru's plot, although the Hokage and his lieutenants are on the alert. This dire threat infuses the often slapstick antics of Squad Seven with a menace the first season lacked. Naruto may still be everybody's favorite knucklehead, but he's up against much tougher foes. The three-disc comes with the bound storyboards (in Japanese only) of Episode #29, "Naruto's Counterattack: Never Give In!" (FROM A NARUTO FAN!)
『This was a great box set! It contains episodes 150-163 all of the episodes were wonderful! Some of the episodes kept me on the edge of my seat, while some made me burst out laughing! It was an enjoyable product and I highly reccomend it! It also came with Naruto playing cards! I enjoyed this box set so much I went ahead and bought the next one! ^_^』

(Alright for price)
『The box set was smashed in on the corner. however the DVD's are still in great condition. Just lost value as a collection.』

(It's good, just not great.)
『Like most people have said, it's filler, so it's not as good as the earlier stuff but I still think it's entertaining and worth a watch if you like Naruto.』

(Luv Naruto)
『OK, I am a little old to be into Manga and anime (40 this month *sigh*)... except why let the kids have all the fun? I always enjoyed the themes of the underdog fighting the odds and unshakable friendship and I've yet to grow out of it. Who would want to?

This set of episodes does contain the dreaded 'filler' eps. The writesrs place it after the first rescue mission for Sasuke fails but before Jiraiya takes Naruto off to train. Some people hate fillers, some people love them. Count me amid the latter group. I enjoy the wider scope that the rest of the ninja corps enjoys in this volume. I especially enjoyed watching Hinata challenging herself to grow.

While I do find that these episodes can be uneven (I especially had a hard time swallowing ep #159. The Bounty Hunter from the Wilderness . Hunt or Be Hunted?! Showdown at the O.K. Temple! due mainly to the fact that the writers appear to have forgotten that that particular set of genin had any talent!) I am willing to forgive and forget the occasional poorly executed idea since I loved most of the episodes.

If you love Naruto and would enjoy seeing more of the secondary characters, this is the Box Set for you!』

(Naruto adding to his Collection of High-Ranking Friends)
『Naruto is building on his collection of friends; Action sequences, however, are really nothing new.』
Now includes exclusive NARUTO playing cards! 2 out of 6 mini-packs inside. Collect all SIX in box sets 11-16 for a complete deck!

Naruto joins Lee, Neji, Tenten on a mission to save a gold-mining town from a group of thugs, but just when they think the battle's over, one of the enemy ninja comes back to life! Back in the Leaf Village, Naruto leads Konohamaru and his pals on a training exercise to Mt. Takurami, where he promptly gets them all lost. Can he get his act together in time to get them off the mountain and out of a raging storm--alive? Then, Naruto's been called a fool once or twice in his life, but he'll find out just how easily fooled he is when two impostors come to town disguised as a pair of very familiar shinobi!

Original and uncut episodes 150-163 / English dubbed / Japanese with optional English subtitles

『The 12th Box Set ofNarutobridges Seasons 6 and 7 of the hit ninja comedy-adventure. While Naruto waits for Jiraiya (a.k.a. "Pervy Sage") to return to the Hidden Leaf Village and continue his training, he goes on a series of short missions that allow the filmmakers to develop some of the secondary characters. Shy Hinata, who nurtures a secret crush on Naruto, proves she's an able warrior in her own right with a spectacular newjutsuof her own creation. Rock Lee, who can't use magical techniques, proves the efficacy of his exhaustive physical training by fending off the lightning-wielding Raiga while unconscious. Director Hayato Date plays the drama of the battle against Raiga and his lightning swords against some unusually broad comedy. Lee, Tenten, Neji, and Naruto use a little old lady's "Curry of Life" like Popeye's spinach: It restores consciousness, heals injuries, and builds fighting power. But it's so incredibly spicy, only Lee enjoys it (and even he turns scarlet after the first bite). Naruto blows the mission to capture the rare Bikoshu Beetle--literally and figuratively--with a badly timed attack of flatulence. An outdoor test for a class of student-ninjas showcases both Naruto's bad habits (his idea of living off the land is to stock up at a convenience store before heading into the forest) and his unshakable determination. The characters have a different look in these episodes that suggests Studio Pierrot changed ink and paint systems and, possibly, some key clean-up artists during production. TheSpecial Editioncomes with a "mininja" figure of Rock Lee. (Must have!)
『This is a must have for any Bebop fan! The box set is gorgeous and makes any anime collection.』

(Hooked on the Bebop(for those who dont care for anime))
『My friend showed me the first two episodes of Cowboy Bebop awile back and right away I ordered the series cause I just had to see the rest of the episodes. I was never a huge anime fan before I saw Bebop and really I still wouldnt consider myself a huge anime fan but the thing is most people think anime and they just think "oh its just stupid cartoons" or whatever and I know trust me I use to be one of them but after actully opening my mind and giving anime a shot I watched Bebop and I cant get enough of it. Ive re-watched the series over and over again and I never skip any episodes It really is my favorite show now ever episode is amazing everytime I watch it I enjoy it. The show has a great cast of characters for those of you reading that dont know the show there names are Spike,Jet,Faye,Ein,and my fav. Ed!!. The show starts out staring just Spike and Jet who are two Bounty Hunters just trying to make some cash along the way the other characters come into play Episode 2 I believe is when Ein comes into the story Ein is a data dog he is very cute and becomes a close friend to Edward later on. Episode 3 Honky Tonk Women introduces Faye Valetine to the cast she starts out on a not so good level with the boys on the Bebop but after a few episodes I think they start to like her company even if they would never admit it. Episode 9 Jamming with Edward introduces Radical Edward she really makes the show in my opinion they show wouldnt be the same without her she adds so much fun to the show I love watching her. The show is dark, funny, action backed, and has a great story and an amazing soundtrack to boot I really dont know if there is a cd for the music on the show but if there is someone should let me know cause I would love to add it to my collection of Bebop stuff. So honestly if you think anime is lame like shamefully to say I did at one point you should still give this particular anime series a shot I would recomend it more for older kids like teens and such. If you dont want to spend the money to buy the Complete Collection with out getting a taste first then I would recomend picking up the Cowboy Bebop Movie its just as great as the show and will definatly give you a good taste and honestly im not sure how anyone could say this is a bad show if someone out there can I would like to hear your reasoning. SO yeah good show buy the series or buy the movie and if you like those buy the manga books there great too.』

(Great deal!)
『Not only did Amazon have an excellent price on the product, it was shipped to me a full week before the estimated arrival time, in perfect condition.

Cowboy Bebop Remix: Anime Legends has excellent sound quality, perfect for the phenomenal soundtrack this series offers. Of course, Cowboy Bebop is a classic, so the title speaks for itself. The perfect cross-genre series that can be appreciated by anime fans and non-anime watchers alike.』

(Cowboy Bebop!!<3)
『LOVE Bebop! This is a great buy! I actually never saw the entire series until I bought this. My boyfriend and I watched the entire series non-stop.』

(Finally.)
『There is alot of moaning when talking about this box set. Mainly people saying that its exactly the same as the original box set and its pointless. That aside, i was so happy to finally be able to get my hands on the complete series without having to pay an extortionate amount of money for it seeing as i missed out the first time round.

Cowboy bebop is one of, if not, the best anime series i have ever seen. Flamboyant style and some great substance mixed in with a fun sense of humour. Good animation even by todays standards. To be honest, it is rare to see a series animated as well as this is throughout an entire season as production values always seem to fall as a series progresses.

- If you have seen it before; this is the same basic package but worth every penny if you have never owned the set.

- If you havent seen it before; You should have already clicked the add to basket button and bought it lol.』

『The crew of the Bebop is once again ready to take control of space, bringing bad guys to justice and trying to make some cash while doing it. Join the always cool Spike, investigative genius Jet, the fabulous Faye, the amazing (but weird) Ed and the super-smart Welsh Corgi named Ein as they try to make a buck in the year 2071. How do they do it? They re bounty hunters. But then again, you probably wouldn t be reading this if you didn t already know that...Now, for the first time in North America the entire Cowboy Bebop Remix series in one package!!!』

(Naruto is awesome!)
『If you love naruto, buy this box set because you can't go wrong. It's as simple as that.』

(naruto uncut boxed set volume 2)
『I received this product in record time. Amazon always does a good job, whenever I shop online, I always go to Amazon first.』

(Very good)
『I had really loved the service that they provided. I got my boxed set and it was really quick. I would buy from them again.』

(GREAT SEASON....)
『This is a great season where Naruto starts to evolve, still a nuckle head but maturing little by little. Fight scenes are awesome.』

(The second DVD box set of uncut Naruto episodes)
『This is a three-disc DVD set that contains episodes fourteen through twenty-five of Naruto. The first two discs contain four episodes, while the third disc contains four episodes and the special features. The first disc is a little tedious to watch, because the fight that is taking place in these episodes is stretched out by a ridiculous amount. The second and third discs are a more enjoyable viewing experience.

The extras are rather similar to what appeared on the first DVD box set. There is "Production Art" (nine pages of model sketches of some of the Naruto characters), "From Sketch to Screen" (eight pages of storyboards for episode twenty-two; you can also choose to see the clip that the storyboard is for), the English credits, a sneak preview for the third Naruto uncut box set, and trailers and promos for Shonen Jump products.

Like the first box, I was rather disappointed in the special features. While I knew to expect it after seeing similar extras on the first box, I was still a little disappointed.

If you're a Naruto fan and want to collect the episodes on DVD, then this would be a good addition to your DVD library.』

『As Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura struggle in battle in the Land of Waves, they must come to terms with the often-painful reality of being a ninja. A little bit older, wiser and stronger, the three return to the Hidden Leaf Village only to face their next challenge: the Chunin Exam! A horde of young ninjas has gathered from all over to participate, all with their own special brand of ninjutsu. Is Naruto ready to take the next step in his journey to become the greatest shinobi ever?』
『Naruto, everybody's favorite hyperactive knucklehead, and his fellow ninja-in-training Sakura and Sosuke complete their first major mission in this popular martial arts comedy-adventure. While Sakura defends the bridge builder and Kakashi grapples with renegade assassin Zabuza, Naruto and Sosuke have to put aside their personal animosity to tackle Haku, Zabuza's super-fast, needle-throwing cohort. Haku employs a secretjutsuto conjure a mirrored structure of ice that enables him to shift among multiple reflections, like Rita Hayworth inThe Lady from Shanghai. The filmmakers suggest that Naruto may have the resources to achieve his dream of becomingHokage(head ninja) when a seal leaks some of the power of the nine-tailed fox demon trapped within his body. Once the fight on the bridge ends, Naruto, Sosuke and Sakura must prepare for the Chunin exams, which will allow them to advance to the next stage of training. Junior ninja from the Hidden Nations of Sound, Rain, Water Fall, Sand, and Wind assemble in Leaf Village. All the other candidates have much more experience than the home-town rookies, but Sosuke's icy excellence immediately attracts challengers. Annoyed at the attention Sosuke's receiving, Naruto reverts to his trademark mixture of braggadocio and clumsiness. The exams are designed to eliminate all but the most promising ninja, and the candidates must figure out just what they're being tested on. Only the best will survive: Believe it! (Naruto Uncut Box Set 14)
『Naruto Uncut Box Set 14
I am very pleased with my purchase. I got my order fast and on time』

(The long Journey before it picks up again)
『Well what can we say, it's Naruto fillers. It is a great pick to complete the library if you can stomach the lack of cohesiveness in the storyline. It is basically missions after mission that does not relate to the main story arc. The lack of continuity is apparent, however; there are some redeeming qualities. I enjoyed the Star village filler as well as the Princes story arc. The story in themselves can be funny at times, as well as interesting. Just be patient with this anime, trust me when the main storyline picks up in Naruto Shippuuden you will not be disappointed. Though Shippuuden will contain fillers, I believe the writers of Naruto learned their lesson from this regular series. That is, they blended the fillers with the main story arc, making the Shippuuden series flow alongside the main story arc. They did the right thing in Shippuuden. However; with this series (Regular Naruto), you are gonna get 100+ unrelated fillers until the series goes Shippuuden. Great buy for those who wish to have a complete collection, but if you cannot stomach the fillers, best skip and wait for Shippuuden to be released. As far as DVD quality, it's great quality, offering both Eng/Jap lang and subtitles. Also it comes with a few more game cards to add to your player deck.』

(Team Gai And Naruto Come To The Rescue Again With The Beginning Of This Box Set)
『Right off the bat Naruto's next mission(After bribing Grandma Tsunade) teams him up with Tenten and Neji to help protect a small ninja village called the star village and their special treasure. The star village has a special meteor that gives increased chakra and even unusual chakra abilities to people who drain the chakra from the meteor, but it also comes with a very heavy price using the meteor's chakra energies eventually leads to the users death, which has caused a division in the star village between those who wish to stop using the meteors energies and those who feel there's no other choice. After this saga we have Naruto battling another personal problem as he unwittingly becomes the adopted mother to a formerly legendary creature known as the Unba(At least that's how it sounds like). Than we have Naruto teaming up with Shino of all people to go to a funeral where Shino will as act as the substitute mourner of the person that's hired them, the reason is that if the chief mourner laughs at the funeral he will loose all the lands that his father will bequeath to him but the will allows a substitute mourner to be in his place, thus Shino is giving the job but like most missions with Naruto somethings bound to happen to mess with the plan. The last few episodes deal with the missing feudal lords daughter from the lands of greens which has been taking over by a band of rogue ninja trying to become feudal lords themselves, the feudal lords daughter flees and tries to regroup and find volunteers to reclaim her lands. This mission saga-arc I felt were the only ones in the series that Naruto just should have let the spoiled lords daughter just die she's so unlikable I just had no sympathy for her and her attitude, but like Naruto usually does with his usual determination and his sense of ninja way and own morality that won't let him abandon her. The video is of course clear and sharp and as always the voice cast both Japanese/English did a great job for their character roles. So for hardcore fans rejoice as we come closer to the Shippuden series and for all fans here comes another great box set at a great price for your anime library....』

(Not the same Naruto anymore)
『Man!! After the Saskue/Naruto fight, Naruto has really dropped the ball. It just isn't the same anymore. When naruto first came on, it was like, you were glued to the TV (am I wrong?). Now it's just a bunch of filler episodes, and whats up with naruto using the rasengan in almost every episode? Because of that it just isn't that cool a move anymore. You didn't see Goku using Kamehameha every Godd**n episode!!』
『The ninja of the Hidden Leaf Village are summoned on a mission to the Land of Stars, where a meteorite with incredible powers has been stolen! Naruto and the others begin to suspect it was an inside job when they learn that the ninja who stole the star used a special ninjutsu known only to the Star Village. Then, Choji, Hinata and Naruto set out for the Land of Greens to protect a group of merchants, one of whom turns out to be a princess! When Hinata is threatened by an evil ninja to reveal the princess's whereabouts or Naruto will be hurt, will she choose to save a princess or the boy she loves?!』

(Lowered production value.)
『I bought this because Cartoon Network canceled Naruto when it had just over TEN episodes left! (so stupid)

The important thing is this set DOES have our beloved English cast. I was worried after having to sit through the Japanese track watching these online. The English cast are better actors in my opinion (and yes, I watch and enjoy Japanese tracks for other shows).

Well, I've read people raving over the Uncut set. I'm here to say I preferred it on CN. I am deducting a star because There Is No English Captioning. The subtitles are for the Japanese track only and don't fit what the characters are saying. I sometimes like to compare localization this way, but sometimes I'd rather the words fit. This is going to confuse my mother who is hearing impaired. Deaf people may be confused by all the foreign references (like sama).

CN always had good captions with perfect timing. This shows that Viz cut corners on this expensive boxset. We're actually getting LESS than if it had finished on air. The episodes are great. This product is a disappointment.

Please go to Viz's website and demand English captions for the Shippuden boxset!

(great)
『The only thing I wish they would do with this series is lump them up into a box set or fewer dvd's.』

(Rejoice Fans For The Filler Episodes Some People Dislike Has Reached The End)
『This is the final box set with the Naruto filler episodes so for hardcore fans who disliked these episodes rejoice as this marks the end of the fillers.
The set has the finale of the Kurenai/Yakumo saga, and after that we have Kiba and Naruto with an assignment to protect a rather obnoxious client and the supposedly priceless heirloom with him during their journey and as one might expect trouble does come for our wayward travelers. The next few episodes teams Rock Lee, Sakura, and Naruto to guard a member of a band of rogue ninja to his trial but not only must they contend with the rogue ninja band trying to get their prisoner but also one of the guard who has his own personal score to settle with the captured ninja. The following episodes teams Neji, Ten-ten, and Naruto who are trying to solve the mystery of attacks with some neighboring town as well as the mystery of a young amnesic man Naruto saves and brings back to the village and is discovered to have unique abilities of his own, and while on their journey it's discovered that the amnesic young man may hold more answers on the mysterious attackers and his connection to them than he rather admit. The final episodes deal with the sand village and a story-line that deals with Gara's attempt at reaching out to his fellow villagers to try and befriend them rather than hurt them, but the scars still run deep and only one young female ninja-in-training is willing to learn from Gara, but there's a new threat as some unknown ninja sneak into the sand village and kidnap the young ninja befriended by Gara in order to lure him out for a dark purpose. The leaf village finds out about the threat and Shikamaru assembles a team to help the sand village out and return the favor owed to them for their help and the Sasuke retrieval assignment, and the finale will show us the beginning of Naruto's journey with pervy sage and the promise of the other Konoha 12 to become stronger themselves when Naruto returns. These episodes for myself were great to watch and I'm finally happy to be getting the entire Naruto series set in uncut episode box sets, don't get me wrong I enjoyed watching them on Adult Swim but even than they had them censored and it was a little irritating to sometimes see the episodes like that and it's also sad that they decided to cancel Naruto on cartoon network but oh well. The one true complaint I'm gonna have with the Naruto Shippuden series is that they kept the same voice for the character of Naruto in the dubbed audio I mean come on he's supposed to be fifteen going on sixteen his voice should be a little more manly but other than that sad situation the series is still pretty good and entertaining so no other complaints about the show.』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review
(One of my favorite anime series)
『of all time. "Death Note" is about Light Yagami, a bored, highly-intelligent, 17-year-old high school student who is the son of a police chief. One day, Ryuk (a Shinigami - "death god"), who is also bored decides to drop a "Death Note" into the human realm. Any person's name who is written in the Death Note either dies, (which depends on whether the cause of death is specified or not.) Light discovers the "Death Note," and wants to become the "God of a New World." Under the alias "Kira", Light uses the note to kill off criminals and "bad people," but his new power quickly corrupts him.L Light begins to kill off law enforcement agents and anyone standing in the way of his goals.

The police and public doesn't know who Kira is, but Ryuzaki (aka L) is -- is a brilliant detective determined to stop Kira's killings and bring him to justice. The battle of wits between Kira and L is intense. The viewer is always left wondering who will outwit the other. But just when the intensity begins to sear, it's lightened unexpectedly with humor (like in the episode "Wager.")

I've already watched this box set more than three times, and replaying favorite episodes or moments from the show.

The episode "Makeshift," sums up the tension between Light and L.

Light asks L/Ryuzaki, staring in his eyes (with conviction), "Ryuzaki, Do you think I'm actually capable of becoming a murderer, Kira?" Light asks, "Even after I help you catch him? Do I seem like that kind of person to you?"

"Yes, you do," Ryuzaki replies calmly, "I've always thought so."

Afterward, the two begin fighting.

Seiyuu (Voice Actor) Brad Swaile strikes the perfect balance of the detestable, likeable faux-squeaky clean as Light Yagami, Alessandro Juliani does a brilliant job of portraying L, Shannon Chan-Knight does a wonderful job as "Misa Amani."

(One of a kind.)
『So, this box set includes the first 20 episodes out of 37 of Death Note.

This anime is totally different than the one's I usually encountered and watched. It is a mystery/psychological/supernatural genre, the first that I watched in that genre. It is a really, really good series. The story is top-notch, and the production is great. It always has something to keep you at the edge of your seat, literally. It manages to grab my attention all the time, you don't encounter much anime that does that. Everything about it is great.

I dont' regret buying this because it is worthy to be on my collection. And the packaging is great.』

(Dramatic&Intelligent: A Battle of Justice)
『There are many quality anime's these days and as they keep coming out it seems only a very select few really have anything new to offer to the genre. Usually the cliche good versus evil with extremely intense action is the path of most anime's. Many of the Drama based anime's are set in a high school setting and/or are based toward the female audience retaining toward romance. Death Note defies all and steps outside the boundaries bringing something new, fresh and intellectual to the table... Depth. Caution, some spoilers ahead.

The main protagonist Light is introduced as a very intelligent young man and his character actually portrays that cunning very well. Later after coming into possession of the Death Note and in complete understanding of it's abilities he still remains clever enough to keep his true identity hidden while under the persona of Kira. You truly find yourself torn as to whether Light's intentions are pure or sinister as he first uses his power against the 'evil' in the world but later he begins using it to save his own skin. Watching his character slowly progress into something darker was truly an intense roller coaster all on it's own, but the inclusion of L only stresses the situation and twists the plot.

L (yes as in the letter), is an odd, mysterious man whom for years has solved many crimes without ever showing his face. L comes off as extremely eccentric, collected yet maddened by his own intellect. Though he and Light are contrasted as opposites on outward appearances the two are in fact one in the same as far as cunning and intelligence. It is these two characters that drive the series with the Death Note simply being the link that forces them to a battle of wits. This is easily one of the best rivalries I have ever seen in a anime and consistently found myself on the edge of the seat each time the two interacted with one another.

The Death Note could use a bit of describing as well. It is a journal made by and originally owned by a God of War. The possessor needs only write a persons name in it while picturing the persons face and seconds later the person dies. One can also choose how the being dies and even decide when and control the persons actions up to their untimely demise. Further more the God of War that previously owned the Death Note is bound to any human that possess' the Death Note and follows him or her around and is only visible to those who touch the Death Note.

All in all it should be obvious that I was impressed with the series. The character interaction between Light and L is very intense and the game of cat and mouse portrayed is a nail biting suspense unlike any anime I have ever seen. The plot is thick with numerous twists as well as various interesting characters and a good deal of action to keep the storytelling intense. Simply a great anime that should be at the top of every anime fans must own list. I would also advise getting the second set with this, you'll end up buying it anyways. A very dark, very well written and extremely well acted anime that for a person who has watched hundreds of animes can honestly say this may well be the best of the best.』

(Product review)
『Packaged in a paper box with a sturdy paper slipcase. (It's Shiny! ^^)

English and Japanese audio with optional english subtitles.

This is a very intelligent anime and if you try multitasking while watching it you'll probably get lost. -I also think that the artwork is very good in this anime, I like the "lighting".

It does leave on a cliff hanger. =[ The good news is that there is only ONE more box set to buy to complete the series. It looks identical to this one, except for the "1" being replaced by a "2".』

(Unexpected and awesome)
『Death note was kind of those everyones into it so I think I'll stay away for a bit......boy was I stupid haha

I would recommend this series to anyone who sits at the edge of their seats during suspenseful parts in movies. If you are a person like this then you fall off the edge of your seat about 5 times an episode. Though this might be an exaggeration this series is really good.

At first I watched it and to not make spoilers its a great series that uses a lot of good techniques to trap the audience with good cliff hangers, a unique story, and character developement that is pretty good along side this all. They do awesome camera angles only found in better animes and have fun twisting things around making it confusing but very entertaining.

In the end you have death note, a good series and if you have people who aren't familiar with anime this is one that could get them hooked...』

Bilingual (English/Japanese)

『Some teenagers walk around with a chip on their shoulder: Light Yagami, the alienated hero of the macabre fantasy-adventureDeath Note(2006) has aShinigami(god of death) named Ryuk hovering over his shoulder. Although he's one of the top-ranked high school students in Japan, Light is repulsed by the lack of justice he sees in the world--until he finds Ryuk's notebook, the Death Note. If anyone writes the name of a human in the book, that person dies minutes later. After testing the Death Note's powers, Light launches a grandiose vigilante campaign to rid the world of criminals to create his vision of a perfect society. But the baffling string of deaths inevitably attracts the attention of the police, who turn the case over to the secretive master crime solver known only as L. Although he's as brilliant as he is arrogant, Light finds himself hard-pressed by L in their deadly game of cat and mouse. He tries to use Misa, a teen idol who's acquired her own Death Note andShinigami, to destroy L, but is outfoxed by his nemesis. To ensure Light does nothing without his knowledge, L has them handcuffed together. Although it begins slowly,Death Notegets better with each installment, as the stakes grow higher in the duel of wits between Light and L. Director Tetsuro Araki plays up their physical differences: Light is cool, handsome and well-groomed; slovenly L seems to think with his twitchy bare feet as well as his redoubtable brain. Neither character is particularly likeable initially, but they become intriguing as the viewer gets to know them.
