However, in this video you will spend a lot of time looking at parked cars while listening to a narrative of their accomplishments, leaving a bit to be desired as far as seeing them in action on track from the cockpit or the tv cameras. The extra features include some text describing interesting incidents of various champion drivers - this is again the kind of material I would have preferred to see, not read about.』

It is about all of the best Grand Prix cars that have ever raced in Formula One, cars like Ferrari, Cooper, Lotus, McLaren, Brabham, BRM, Williams and many others. There is a lot of information on cars that even raced before F1 including the 1930's battles between Mercedes Benz and Auto Union. The DVD starts with the Grand Prix Car from 1920 and continues right up through the years until it reaches Michael Schumacher's Ferrari F2000. There is a lot of great footage on the DVD including the famous battle between Gilles Villeneuve and Rene Arnoux for second place in the 1979 French Grand Prix. It doesn't even have any Penthouse Pets besides Nikie St. Gilles and Samantha Stewart which don't even get any scenes of their own ,they are just hosts of the show. Also most are your typicial models you see on the web(hence the name internet babes)and one model who caught my eye (Brooke) only had two scenes that were short.』
(Should have been more) 『I'm a huge Asia Carrera fan, and know her work from the adult film industry, so I was looking forward to this particular feature. I was dissapointed that her scenes never really pushed the boundries of softcore like some of Penthouse's other features. The girl-girl scenes in this movie came off more like something from the late night pay channels as opposed to the same company that produced Dear Diary and Pets in Paradise. The two blonde hosts that popped up in between scenes offered hope, but their sequences were all too short and teasing, plus they never get a full sequence of their own. On the plus side, the solo scenes are pretty decent. Brooke Bradford is hot as always, and Samantha Stewart becomes the one Pet to get away with a little finger dissapearing act. It is better than three stars, but I can't give it a full four in good conscience. Worth buying, but not at full retail price.』

(Sex between Life and Death) 『I liked this film far better in retrospect- particularly after watching the interview with the director Jacques Rivette, although the irritating interviewer couldn't begin to grasp the sagacious Rivette's quasi mystic vision. It's amazing how many of the directors of the French New Wave- Resnais, Roehmer, Rivette. Godard, Chabrol- are still making films 50+ years from when they started, and Rivette's current films may be the best now; are there any American directors who have made films for 50 years?
By non art film standards this is very long, and maybe even by those standards it still drags on. In fact, to many people this could be a yawner. However, the acting of- and the chemistry between- Emmanuelle Beart and Jerzy Radziwilowicz is riveting. There is much suspense here; and the minimalism of the film is classic new wave. The ghost(s)- caught between the living and the dead- (reminded me a little of the film "Ghosts" with Demi Moore) is interesting, mysterious and, perhaps, universal. However, the film still does drag a bit. However,the last half hour really speeds up, although the possible ghost redemption of Marie (Beart) is a little confusing. Moreover, steamy, erotic, and hauntingly verbal sex with a beautiful ghost does add interest to the first two hours. Five stars with more cutting- four stars as is.』
(Too Long?) 『This movie is just as long as American Gangster. The story premise is simple enough about Julien, a clock restorer who couldn't forget of his one-night stand with a woman named Marie. By coincidence, they bump onto each other. To cut the story short, the relationship is soon rekindled. Along the way, there's a subplot about Julien extorting or blackmail money from Madame X. Somehow, Madame X has a sibling rivlary with her sister, who then is also related to Marie somehow. As the story unfolds, we also find out that a year ago, Marie was going out with a man named Simon who then has since deceased in a car accident. Through narratives from the characters and hints given, we start to second guess ourselves if perhaps Marie is dead or perhaps, she's a ghost. Then, we also start to wonder if it's actually love between Julien and Marie, and what is real and what is not. Yes, we can probably say to ourselves that this is an art movie and therefore, it's a bit out of ordinary but then again, we needn't sit through a whopping 2.5 hours to understand what's written above. There's a lot of silence in this movie and it reminds me of sitting through a Japanese Noh performance where silence conveys a lot that's impossible to convey through words. An acquired taste.』

I own an Esprit though 20 year old it's styling and performance still turns head and draws a crowd.The Esprit is a very stunning machine;it's speed and most of all handling suggests it's F1 inspiration and pedigree. This movie, as its name implies, is a sequel to the first X-Men movie. In this movie, the X-Men have to rescue their leader, Professor Xavier, played by Patrick Stewart, from evil government forces. Along the way, Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, discovers clues that could lead him to his lost memories. The action scenes kept me engrossed in the movie and I found the plot very interesting. I recommend this DVD to any X-Men fan.』

(Easily the best of the franchise) 『X2 is not only the best out of the current four films in the film franchise, it is probably my favorite Marvel comic book movie of all time! (Spider-Man 2 was just as good). Everything is better this time around. The action is a huge improvement from the first film, and the story will keep you on the edge of your seat. I also liked the direction this movie went in. The first film dealt with the X-Men facing off against Magneto's brotherhood of evil mutants. The first movie was strictly mutant VS mutant. X2 involves the humans taking the fight to the mutants. It was amazing to see how the X-Men fight for what they believe is right, even if the ones they hope to protect are the ones that hate them. The X-Men go great lengths this movie, and there are casualties on both sides. With a movie that sticks to the comic book even more this time around, hardcore fans should be pleased. Characters are fleshed out even further, particulaly Wolverine, Jean Grey, the newer mutants, and the newly introduced Nightcrawler. Its rare to find a superhero movie that not only has a good story, but a touching one as well. X2 fits this criteria and more. Job well done!』
(More Good Eye Candy) 『Since the first movie, "X-Men," was famous for its great special effects, this sequel knew enough to deliver the same kind of eye-popping effects to please its fans....and it did! There are absolutely tons of stunning special effects, both visually and audibly. All of that means very few lulls in this 134-minute film.
Having said that, I do think the film actually needed some lulls. At over two hours of pretty intense action, it needed more breaks. Either that, or shorten the story.
Rebecca Romjin-Stamos, in her skin-tight outfit, is still a feast for us male eyes and Halle Berry and Famke Jannson aren't bad, either! Other familiar names from the first film are still here, such as Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Anna Pacquin and Ian McKellan.
It's a pretty interesting story and - all-in all, if you liked the first film, you'll like this, (and you'll love the third installment!).
