Of course, I chipped the rim first time I washed it, but that hasn't hurt the seal. Only thing I don't like is that with each sip of coffee I get a heavy dose of silicone smell from the lid. Hoping that will eventually wash out.』
(Nice cup) 『I just got this simple, paper-looking ceramic cup and I'm loving it. The size is perfect for my mid-afternoon tea, the weight is just right, the silicone lid adjusts perfectly and it doesn't smell funny. The sleeve is flat with a logo in one side and has bumps in the other, but I've found that i don't need it, for the cup's isolation is good and the ceramic does not get too hot in the microwave. Highly recommended!』
(Eco Coffee Cup) 『I have a love of coffee and coffee accesories, I really like the look and feel of this coffee cup - with the silicon lid and hot cozy. The only thing that I don't really like about this cup is that it is taller than I thought it would be it seems to be more of a 16oz size rather than a 12oz that I was looking for.』
(I like it!) 『I am happy with this cup. The cool factor is great in and of itself so it's hard to beat that. It has a nice weight and does work well with my new Keurig machine. The lid does not leak which actually surprised me because I was certain it would leak. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem to keep the coffee hot for very long. About 30 - 45 minutes is about all it keeps the coffee warm. This isn't that big of an issue for me as warm coffee doesn't matter to me. I can refill when I get to the office. The cool factor outweighs the thermal issue.』
(Love this Cup!) 『I love this cup. And so does everyone else who sees it. Whenever I take it into a coffee shop, the cup inevitably gets passed around to the shop's staff, all of whom think it's very cool. I specifically ordered this cup because other reusable cups and mugs are too bulky and often won't fit into standard-sized cup holders. Plus, I like the look and feel of a paper cup, so this ceramic version is perfect. There is no logo printed on the cup, so you won't feel weird taking it into a variety of coffee shops. The insulated walls of the cup keep my tea hot longer than a paper cup does. One tip: Since baristas can't write my order on my cup (like they do with paper cups), I keep a small post-it note with my beverage order tucked inside the cup's sleeve. When I order, I just slide the note up so that the baristas can see it.Eco Coffee Cup』 『Eco 101 brings you the Ceramic Thermal Double Wall Eco Coffee Cup. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Another great item from Kitchenaid!) 『The pouring shield makes pouring flour in a running mixer a lot less hassle. It also helps when pouring in a lot of wet ingredients in at once too.』
(first order, not the last) 『KitchenAid K45SS Classic 250-Watt 4-1/2-Quart Stand Mixer, Whitemy first order arrived promply and with no damage..certainly i will be using amazon again and will and do recommend the company to anyone...』
(Misleading S/H) 『I love the product. I am reviewing the misleading way Amazon lists the S/H fee. You can't even see that they charge an additional fee, because they put it in a light grey color. It cost half the price of the product. If I had seen that information, I wouldn't have ordered the product from them. Absurd!
I work for a company that ships product all around the country daily. I understand how much it costs, how long it takes, and the work that goes into it by all the departments. I will not order from this company again and I will definitely keep my eyes open for the S/H placement. Key point, don't order product in the dark, as you won't see the additional fees in the grey color.』
(I love and use the KitchenAid Pouring shield) 『I use this every time I use my mixer. It's absolutely perfect for adding eggs, liquid and flour while the beater's going. It keeps all the ingredients away from the moving beater attachment too. It also stops dry ingredients from flying all over the counter. I've never had a problem with it falling off while I'm using it. It's a GREAT addition to the mixer. I highly recommend it!』
(Waste of money) 『Not clicking to the bowl, jumping of the bowl while mixing, creates more mess. NO use, after trying few times!』 『One of the best features of a stand mixer is that you can add other ingredients while the mixing action is occuring. However, it can be a little tricky trying to get those eggs, or that sugar into the bowl, without getting in the way of a moving beater, or without ingredients sloshing outside the bowl. The answer to these difficulties is a pouring shield. The chute lets you add ingredients from a safe distance while the "collar" prevents splashes from wet ingredients and "puff" from dry ingredients.』 『Suitable for KitchenAid's 4-1/2-quart and 5-quart stand mixers, this shield fits on the mixing bowl to prevent ingredients from splattering out when they're added while the mixer operates. A chute for adding ingredients forms one side of the shield, which otherwise comprises a partial cap for the mixing bowl. The shield is made of rugged plastic and is dishwasher-safe.--Fred Brack』

(Great kitchen tool) 『I love this bench scraper. It's large -- 5 x 6 inches, including the handle -- so some people might find it awkward. But I like that you can scoop up everything in one shot. The handle is comfortable, but what I like most is that the sides have an edge sloping down from the handle, so chopped food doesn't fall off when you scrape it up off your cutting board. The shipping charge was outrageous -- as much as the item itself -- so I tried to find it locally (Kohl's carries Rachel Ray items) but couldn't. These are not too long, perfect for kitchen use. Their tips are not the annoying soft silicone type like so many out there but instead a harder tip that is angled and pointed so you can use then for a number of surfaces or into pots of boiling things. I really love the feel of these in my smallish hands and that they lock is an added bonus so they don't take up tons of room in your drawer. Perfect!』

(A very useful tool!) 『These tongs are quality made and are going to last a long time. So far we've used them to take hot corn cobs out of the pot, and to take oven thermometer out of the hot oven. They would be great to use for an outdoor grill, for salads etc. I like the fact that they lock because you can conveniently put them away for storage. And the silicone grip prevents them from getting hot. Highly recommend!』
(I Love My Tongs) 『These are great tongs, as are the silicone tipped ones. I use these on the grill for some items which my very large grilling tongs can't really grab. The silicone tongs aren't appropriate for the grill so I use these. The silicone ones get used on nonstick surfaces. The bottom lines is I have the tongs I need for all by cooking and baking.』

Cuisinart
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Third Time's the Charm for Cuisinart) 『By my accounts, this is the THIRD manifestation of a "grind and brew" coffee maker attempted by Cuisinart...and they FINALLY got it right! We had their first one--a holy terror to clean (too many parts, awkwardly placed), and it died a young death.
We went to a Melitta and loved it, till it died of old age and couldn't be replaced (discontinued). So, warily, we tried again, with a more recent Cuisinart Grind and Brew. The parts were easier to clean and replace, but the coffee was weak, especially when one considered how much was USED in the brewing.
So, that one went in a yard sale.
We went back to the pain of grinding our beans every morning (NOT good for groggy eyed folks!). Finally, I stumbled across reviews of this new, improved model, last spring. I read every one. Everywhere.( Fool me once; shame on you. Fool me twice; shame on me. Fool me three times??? :-D ) After massive research, I concluded that Cuisinart finally had, indeed, gotten its act together, and bought this for my husband's birthday in the summer of 2008.
We LOVE it! It's easy to clean. There are fewer removable parts, and they are sturdier, and easier to replace. The burr grinder is a great improvement in the flavor of the coffee, as are the multitude of controls and adjustment settings. Now our coffee is *exactly* the strength we like, every time. We love storing some beans in the hopper, so that we don't even have to put in beans more than once a week. The entire process--aside from pouring in the water--can be fully automated, which is great for sleepy heads. (By the way, this one isn't quite as noisy as previous models, either, but you still could use it for an alarm if its near your bedroom ;-) And the vacuum stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours....
We've had none of the door-popping issues mentioned here, despite daily use for almost a year and half, either.
Okay, this isn't the cream of the crop, but it's a lot less $$$ than cream, either. We're happy. I bet you will be, too.』
(Coffee perfecto) 『I never thought coffee could taste soooo wonderful! This is easy to use, set up every night, and brews it to the right strength for my taste. I waited almost a month to receive this because of it being lost in shipment, but it was well worth the wait! Definitely worth the money too!』
(Greatest coffee from grind and brew Cuisinart coffee maker) 『I purchased this coffee maker about mid Oct 2009. Before buying it I read all the reviews I could find on it and I really pay attention to the bad reviews. I made coffee with this coffee maker the first time, at 6:30 am the day after it arrived, and the aroma of the fresh ground coffee woke me up, and I fell in love with a coffee maker. This is what I have been looking for in a coffee maker, inspite of the bad reviews that said the coffee pot is to heavy, yes it is heavy, it makes 12 cups of hot coffee, just what I wanted and I can handle the weight, it has a small pour spour when top is left on, but this is not a problem it helps keep the coffee hot longer. It does make noise grinding coffee, but that only last 15 seconds, so I set my alarm clock to go off when the grinding goes on so I hardly hear it, but the aroma goes all over the house to gently get me up. My wife likes the coffee made from my selection of beans so much she gets up with me at 6:40 am to have coffee with me. She even had me buy her best friend one of these coffeemakers. We purchased another carafe so we can make another pot of coffee for our friends who like mild coffee while we like the dark roast, strong, coffee.
Life is better with good coffee.

(Great Product) 『Brews strong (my preferred setting), remains hot in thermal carafe, easy to clean... just a great coffee maker!』
(Great coffee maker!) 『I love this coffee maker! It has a built in water filter so the water is filtered, which I think does affect the taste. I like the 1-4 cup feature and the different heating options. I also like that the carafe doesn't drip when you pour. Overall, I would recommend it!』 『Cuisinart introduces a fully programmable coffeemaker with a burr grinder for superior coffee. Our special burr grinder grinds the coffee without influencing the integrity of the bean, so the true flavor maintained. The strength selector and the grind control functions fine-tune intensity and volume, and the thermal carafe seals in heat and freshness so the last cup is as good as the first. (Durable bowls that will brighten any decor) 『It doesn't matter if you need to mix melamine into cat food, baby food, dog food, pancake batter, or even cookie dough: These bowls will help you get the job done!』
(The Greatest Bowls!) 『I love these bowls! I bought them about 8 months ago and since then have used them almost everyday. They are perfect for just about anything you need to do in your kitchen. They're sturdy and still look almost new even though I use my electric mixer with them a lot and always wash them in the dishwasher. I have several other mixing bowls but I might as well give them away because I only use these now. 』
(Very useful bowls) 『they are heavy duty enough to not be fragile, yet light enough to be comfortable pouring from.』
(True Test of Bowls) 『Nice looking bowls. You will receive compliments and admiration from your guests on these bowls. This means nothing to me... I need performance. I need bowls that can take a beating, and then ask for more. Metaphorically, of course, because if your bowls actually speak to you then you need more help than what I can provide. I take my mixing bowls serious, very seriously. I travel the globe giving speeches and demonstrations on the art of professional mixing. By the way, if you want to book my services, all dates are currently open. Back to the bowls at hand. Time to put the Trudeau Melamine Mixing Bowls to the test. I called in some friends for this one. Some fellow journeyman level mixing bowl pros. We gathered in a secret meeting place and drank lots of alcohol, then the brainstorming began. A mixing bowl test of olympic proportions was devised. We released a plume of white smoke from the chimney to announce to the world that we had settled on the parameters of the test. The next day after passing around the customary hangover aspirin bottle, we bagan.
Test 1 - Burn test - Mixing bowls must be able to withstand extreme temperatures including microwaves. We decided that there was no more extreme temperature than fire itself. We coated down our red Trudeau mixing bowl with lighter fluid and lit that baby up. The bowl did not even begin to melt for 45 seconds. What the heck is this stuff made of? Could it be flame retardant? No.. soon it was melting. A gust of wind blew the glob of melted plastic onto Jimmie Ray. He screamed like a 4 year old on Christmas morning. Not in a happy way. It stuck to him like Napalm. We decided to knock him out until the ambulance arrived... his screaming was really becoming annoying. Had to punch him like 8 or 9 times in the face before he finally lost consciousness.
Minor set back. We forged on. Jimmie Ray would still be with us in spirit.
Test 2 - spin test - Put a few rocks in the bowls and then with a super adhesive we attached them to the wheels of Eugene's van. The bowls would take a beating... a good test. At low speeds we heard the rocks tumbling around and really working those bowls. Time to kick it up a notch. We hit the interstate. At 85 mph one of the bowls flew off and hit a delivery truck. He immediately picked up his cell phone and simultaneously shared his displeasure with us by giving us the one finger salute. The cops were behind us within 30 seconds. We could not stop. The results of our test must be held with the utmost secrecy until test is complete. Unfortunately the bowls and rocks created an imbalance on the wheels. At 90 mph we developed a wheel shimmy that sent us into the median wall. No injuries. Eugene may be lost to the team for 3 to 5 years depending on good behavior.
After getting our bowls back from impound lot it was on to the final test. Test 3 - Durability test - Can the Trudeau Melamine bowls take a whuppin. We loaded the bowls with a thick oatmeal mix and went to the roof of a 5 story apartment building. The few team members left gathered in a circle below awaiting impact. I dropped bowl #1 and it sailed down like a torpedo. The anticipation could be felt in the air. What happened next we did not foresee. The bowl exploded like a grenade. Bowl shrapnel shot out and we discovered that even oatmeal can hurt if it has enough velocity.
Final report: Trudeau Melamine Mixing Bowl is an excellent bowl. 1) If on fire, let it burn, don't touch it. 2) Use plenty of adhesive if attaching to your wheels. 3) If dropped 5 stories please ensure your friends are adequate distance away. We are currently suspending all bowl testing until further notice. Jimmie Ray still in burn unit, Eugene serving time, rest of team still healing from multiple sharpnel wounds.』 『Have fun in the Kitchen!! Trudeau's set of 3 melamine mixing bowls are functional and attractive. Bright warm tones will cheer you as you mix your brownie batter, scramble your eggs or any other mixing you might do. The bowls are made of a durable melamine and come with a non-slip bottom so your bowls stay put as you are working. 1.5 / 2.0 / 3.0 L. Dishwasher safe, not for use in microwave.』

Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (surprisingly sturdy) 『I've used one of these daily now for three years. My initial impression, when purchasing the machine, was that the plastic wouldn't hold up. It has. Still makes great coffee. The grinder, going off at 5:30 am, will wake the dead. We are now used to it, but need to warn house guests.』
(Nice to look at, Good Coffee, Worthwhile Purchase) 『OK, so I read some of the reviews on this product and I hesitated to buy due to some of the issues noted. (Catching on fire??) But I chose to do so anyway, because I felt that the positive reviews outweighed the bad. I already had a Keurig brewer, but wanted something that could make larger batches, and the thermal carafe was exactly what I had in mind to keep the coffee warm.
I have to say that I have been impressed with the machine. I have found that the carafe keeps the coffee warm for hours, which saves me from making multiple batches through the day. Yesterday I made some coffee at 1pm, and it was still pretty hot when I emptied the remainder out of the carafe at 9pm. The grinder portion is fairly easy to clean if you clean it right away and do not let the coffee slurry dry onto the plastic. Even then soaking in warm soapy water for a few minutes does the trick. The unit is pretty easy on the eyes. The stainless steel fit well with the appliances in my kitchen. As some of you may know, there are several types of stainless, that clean differently. The stainless on this machine will show smear marks if cleaned with an oily cleaner. You are better off to clean this with a water based stainless cleaner, such as Easy Off stainless cleaner. A soft cloth with warm soapy water will do the trick was well.
I do have to agree that the machine is loud. My husband was a bit startled the first time he used the machine because he was expecting a delay between pressing the button to power on the unit and the start of the grind. However, now that he knows that, the sound does not bother him. We have a pretty large home, and the kitchen is down a floor and on the opposite side of the house, so we really are not bothered by the grinder.
All in all, this was a worthwhile purchase for the price. When I only feel like one cup, I still have a Keurig machine as well, which makes equally good coffee!』
(Perfect) 『When I saw the 3* average rating, I was concerned since I already own this Cuisinart -- but want Santa to give me one so I can drink good coffee when visiting my daughter. I got a kick out of the concerns. Some think the noise level of the grinding beans is horrible. I love to wake up to that noise and know that when I get up my coffee is waiting for me. Some think cleaning is messy. I think 'wow' to have freshly ground coffee is absolutely worth the effort. And by the way I put my grounds in my garden&my plants love it. I bought a 12 cup Cuisinart @ Costco but when I looked closer, learned it has a glass carafe and this thermos is wonderful. I carry it&my coffe cup around all morning. YEAH CUISINART』
(GREAT!) 『I've had this coffee maker for 3 years now and it is still the most used appliance in my kitchen. Obviously I'm a coffee fiend...I've never had any serious issues with this coffee maker and it is still going strong. I don't understand that other complaints as I have never experienced any of this. Granted, as soon as it's done brewing I quickly rinse out all of the pieces and just throw it in my sink which is filled with hot water&soap. It sits there in the soap all day until at night when I rinse out the soap when I'm doing the dishes. Never had any clogs or any spill overs as others report. This only takes like a couple of minutes to clean. As for the grinder not grinding all of the beans, I find that only happens when you put too many beans in the grinder. There's a line inside the grinder that tells you how far you can fill it. If you go TOO far over that (you can go over it!) and just stuff the grinder with beans, it won't grind all of it. My suggestion is to read the instructions and use it properly.
I LOVE this coffee maker and it has served me exceptionally well over the last 3 years. I will be in tears the day it dies!』
(Worst consumer junk ever) 『This has got to be the worst piece of consumer junk ever. Look at the review stats. More people gave this prodcut a "one" than gave higher ratings. This is exceedingly rare when you have 600 reviews of anything !This is for good reason. It boogles the mind how anyone could rate this piece of junk any higher. The problems: 1. Impossible to clean. The grinding basket overgrinds coffee to a powder which is blown into every nook and cranny. Then the steam rises up and turns all that powder into a black mud. You have to clean this thing with a toothbrush every time you use it. The basket holder does not remove, making the job even harder.
2. Cheap quality plastic junk parts
3. Lousy coffee. Any one who knows anything about coffee will tell you that when you overgring coffee it becomes bitter.
4. Very expensive for what you get.
5. Making a 2nd pot takes a half an hour to clean and prepare.
I also have a Cusinart Brewmaaster 1200. It lasted 4 months and burnt out. That makes $250 spent in one year for two Cusinart products. One does not work the other is usless.
When I started work 20 years ago i bought a $14. cofeemaker from Kmart. It's still making coffee all day 5 days a week. There is no Cusinart product worth your considreation. It is all high priced junk !
』 『With its sleek Italian styling, brushed stainless finish and "loaded" feature package, you'd expect nothing less than a fabulous cup of coffee. And you won't be disappointed! From filtering the water, to grinding the beans, to keeping your brew hot, not to mention having it ready and waiting for you first thing in the morning, this handsome machine does it all, and then some.』 『When the aroma of freshly brewed coffee--from freshly ground beans--wafts into your bedroom in the morning, you won't need your alarm clock. Preset this coffeemaker for your desired wake-up time, add coffee beans to the grinder, and in the morning the beans are ground to a medium grind and hot coffee awaits in the 10-cup stainless steel, double-wall insulated thermal carafe. You can also program the machine to start brewing at the end of a dinner party to avoid having to get up from the table, or to have hot coffee waiting after a brisk winter walk. When making fewer than five cups of coffee, use the 1-to-4-cups setting to improve extraction and heat; coffeemakers without this setting often lack the time to heat up properly, and coffee comes out cooler. A disposable charcoal filter removes chlorine and odors from tap water, improving coffee flavor, and should be changed every few months. Other features include a gold-tone commercial-style filter (or use No. 4 basket-style paper filters); capacity to use preground coffee instead of beans; 30-second Brew Pause, which allows a cup be poured before brewing is complete; and an audible tone to indicate the pot is ready. The grinder removes for easy cleaning, and all removable parts can be washed safely in the upper rack of a dishwasher. (Perfect for Hot Lunch in Winter) 『I bought this thermos specifically for hot soup or pasta lunches for the winter and I am very pleased. The directions that come with the thermos suggest you fill it with hot tap water but I second the recommendation that you fill the thermos with boiling water instead for about ten minutes. I usually eat lunch about 4 1/2 hour to 5 hours after I pack it, and whether it's soup or pasta, my lunch is steaming hot. I was actually surprised at how hot the pasta was. The thermos would be easier to eat out of if it had been a bit shorter and wider, but portability-wise, it fits compactly into the bag I usually carry to work. I haven't had any issues at all with spillage or leakage, and it seems very sturdy overall.
The telescoping spoon that comes with the thermos is kinda hit-or-miss: I prefer to bring along an extra plastic spoon.』
(Great for hot food in winter) 『I just purchased this thermos so that I could take hot food to school. When I first received it I was surprised at how small it is. I guess I underestimated how small 16oz is. Just know before you order it that it is only big enough to hold a can of soup. So far I have only carried soup and stew in it. I wanted something bigger so I can carry large amounts of pasta. It might be worth it just to buy two of them if you want more quantity. Still a great product.』
(Great thermos) 『My son decided no more school lunches, so I bought him this thermos. Soups stay hot until he eats lunch at 1245. I make his lunch at 730am. Pasta is only warm, not hot. No big deal. I heat the Chef Boyardee mini ravioli. Maybe only warm because there's not so much sauce. Anyways, He loves his thermos.』
(Terrific Thermos ! ! !) 『This really holds the food HOT. My biggest critics are my kids and they love it. They can finally take hot pasta or soup to school and have a hot meal. But, you MUST follow the instructions. I recommend that you allow the BOILING HOT water to sit in the thermos for a minimum of 15 minutes. Keep in mind you must put piping hot food into the container. The kids tell me that when they open the thermos hot steam comes out and the food is nice and warm. I typically fill the thermos with food around 7:00am and the kids eat lunch anywhere from 12:15 to 1:00 pm. It really seems to work. Good static control in the grounds hopper. For all the grind settings, some may wish it had a few coarser settings for french press. It does work for my press, though. Otherwise a great choice.』
(Works Well) 『I have had this grinder for about a week and so far I am very pleased with it. This is my first burr grinder, before that I had the usual blade grinder, and I am happy to report that I much prefer this way of grinding. The coffee grind is obviously much more consistent, and the precise control of grind size makes it much easier to grind for my various coffee makers (drip and french press).
It is quite easy to clean and I have not found static to be a problem, so long as you give the side of the machine a few pats after running it (as the instructions say.) The only annoyance with mine is that the grind collector tends to want to move out as the machine runs, just a little bit. However, all of the grinds still find there way into the chamber and there is no mess as a result.
I am still trying to figure out exactly the right setting for the timer to not grind too much or too little, but once I figure all of that out I'm going to be even more happy with this purchase.』
(Good grinder, dependable.) 『It's a dependable grinder that produces excellent ground coffee. The only thing I do not like is the on/off timer dial. Instead of a timing dial, they should have installed a good, old-fashioned ON/OFF switch.』
(Wonderful grinder - if you're using a blade grinder - buy this now!) 『Pros: 1. Very even grind 2. Relatively quiet 3. Fairly easy to clean with some caveats - more on this in the negative points
Cons: Can leave grounds behind - must actively "coerce" all of the grinds thru the grinder.
I recenlty moved up from a blade grinder to this burr grinder. I chose the Capresso Infinity #565, beacause of all of the reviews from here as well as several other websites. The difference in flavor in my morning brew was astounding. Anyone thinking about taking the plunge, I would highly encourage them to so, without any hesitation. I also considered the Maestro Solis Plus and the Kitchenaid brand of burr grinders. The reason I chose the Capresso was primarily because of price - I got a great deal from Amazon - got the #565 for about the same price as I found #560 everywhere else -$100, and this being my first foray into the burr grinder world, I didn't want to go "crazy". the biggest issue I have had thus far is cleaning, thankfully, I found a post that helped me alleviate some of the mess associated with cleaning this unit. The main issue centers around the fact that there is always some residue left over after each grind - which leads to the stale grounds pushed out into the next batch. I now tilt the grinder forward after all of the beans have passed through the hopper and gently tap all the sides of the outer surface - this pushes all of the residual in to the collector and leaves very little behind. In either case, I am very please with the Capresso Infinity and recommend it to anyone moving up from a blade style grinder.』
(Returned it) 『I've been researching moderate (less than $750) espresso outfits. You know, more than a steam pot but still moderately priced. From what I've read the burr grinder is as important (some claim more important) than the espresso machine. Even still I tried the Capresso Infinity due to it's low price but returned it a couple days later. Here's why: - Plastic, meaning static cling meaning messy. - Grind left over, as others have pointed out (I should have listened). I tried bumping and tilting the grinder as suggested here but the grinder just didn't feel like it would take the added abuse very long.
I'm talking about the black plastic model, not the stainless steel model so I don't know if it would be tougher. I splurged and bought the Rancilio Rocky Doserless Espresso And General Purpose Coffee Grinder instead and let me tell you it is SOLID, not a cheap plastic feel. I'm very happy with the Rocky!』 『Elegant, timeless design. Commercial-Grade Solid Steel Conical Burrs preserve maximum aroma and grind precisely from Turkish fine to coarse.』 『For grinding larger quantities of coffee beans for a coffee-drinking crowd, Capresso's commercial-grade Infinity grinder handles 8-1/2 ounces of beans at a time. Sixteen different settings--four each in the four categories of extra fine, fine, regular, and coarse--let you adjust the grind to the specific blend of coffee and method of brewing. The finest setting is ideal for preparing Turkish coffee, which is a rare feature to find in a grinder. A built-in timer sets the grind for anywhere between 5 and 60 seconds so you can walk away without having to constantly press a button to continue the grinding process. The Infinity has an advanced conical burr design made of steel that is usually only found on commercial grinders. This burr design slows down the gears and reduces the amount of friction and heat to preserve coffee's flavor and aroma. The coffee container holds up to 4 ounces of grounds and remains sealed during grinding. For safety, the bean container also needs to be locked into place for the Infinity to operate. For easy cleaning, the bean container and upper burr lift off so you can clean the grinding chamber with the included brush and wipe down the heavy-duty zinc die-cast housing. The 100-watt burr grinder measures 7-2/3 by 5-2/5 by 10-4/5 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.--Cristina Vaamonde』

It is so easy to clean because of the removable plates&I like how you can set the temperature and cooking time. I love it so much that I just bought one for my dad as a Christmas gift! Can't beat the price on Amazon either - $80 in stores, $68 online w/ free shipping - significant savings!』
(Disappointed) 『After looking at ALL the reviews and not feeling very pleased with the customer ratings, I decided to get it anyway. OMG!!!! I don't like it. It doesn't keep it's temp. I don't like it....I don't like it... I wish I could send it back. Don't buy this one. I have had other GF, but this one sucks.

(easy to clean!!) 『I had a "champ" model for years and loved it, but it was tough to clean and got to the point where I had to get rid of it for health reasons. Got this one as a replacement and the removable plates have solved all my cleaning problems. I take them off, put them in the dishwasher, and I'm good.
Some people have mentioned that the heating is uneven and it takes longer to warm up. Neither of these has been an issue for me. This model works as well as the other models I have used, including the champ, which is small and very quick to heat up.』
(Great item) 『I love this grill. The only thing that I would have liked even more is for this model to have interchangable grill plates. Otherwise wonderful.』
(NOT HOT ENOUGH) 『I agree with others. This is a terrible grill! I think it's a DESIGN FLAW rather than a manuf defect, as there's no direct contact with the heating element in the grill and the plates and it is just NOT HOT ENOUGH. I ordered it last yr and thought it was going to be a great improvement over my mini Geo Foreman grill (that I stupidly threw out the same day I received this unit). Well, it took 20min to cook a burger and no grill marks on it, yet the meat inside was well done. It never got hot enough to grill and sizzle. Amazon.com did replace the 1st one I bought last yr... and that one was a slight improvement, but it still took 10-11min to cook a burger, with a few grill marks. ... nothing like the great burgers you could make on the mini $19.99 Geo Foreman grill. I'm ordering a new Foreman grill and it will NOT have removable plates. I'll just buy a larger cumbersome (pain) to clean non-removable plate Foreman grill.
I hope the SALTON people (designers and customer service) read these reviews... it's a DESIGN FLAW rather than a manuf defect.』 『George Foreman Grill with removable plates in a silver metallic finish. New Comtemporary Desgin.』
