(This can make good brew if....)
(fantastic!)
(Worth it!)
(A wonderful little 'learning' kit.) Easy to use, and all reusable, which means that (except for the refill packs) you don't need to continually spend more $ to keep enjoying the product! It was a gift for my husband, he was thoroughly enthused. Mr. Beer can be a good introduction on how to brew beer without investing too much money in an entire kit. I returned to brewing beer after a 20 year hiatus 2 months ago by buying Mr. Beer from this site. I did consult several "home brewing forums" online to find some of the best ways to get the most out of Mr. Beer.
#1: Be patient and let your beer stay fermenting for 2 weeks at a minimum. I recommend waiting 3 weeks.
#2 You can bottle these with very little yeast sediment by buying a 3 gallon plastic bucket (food grade if possible) and a racking cane with a syphon hose. Instead of adding sugar to each bottle directly, use 2 oz priming sugar and a cup of boiling water. Mix the sugar with the water and wait a few minutes. Pour this into your bucket and then use the siphon to move the beer from the Mr. Beer fermentor into the bucket allowing the beer to mix with the sugar. Try to not stir up the mixture too much. Be gentle with it at this stage. Once the Mr. Beer is empty of the beer sediment will be left in the container and not in your bucket. Bottle the beer and give it 3 weeks at around 70 F. After this time place a few bottles in your fridge for 3-4 days and then drink.
The results I tasted last week were very good for this kit. My wife to be thought this was better than most macro-brews and wants to serve some to our guests at out wedding in July.
The recipe kits are not cheap but if you get the unhopped liquid malt extract for a few dollars more than the booster pack you may be satisfied spending the extra $3 per batch.
Do a google search for home brew forum and you can find a site with many threads just about Mr Beer. This site answered many questions and told me that having more patience than just a few weeks from start to finish really made things pay off. Rushing this process may result in making bad beer. I found this kit at a thrift store for 15. So i bought it and followed the instructions. Amazing! I had no idea it would turn out so well. I had a ridiculous amount of carbonation though (head filled up an entire tallboy!). I'm in the process of brewing some hard cider and some red beer now! Actually I already bottled it. If you take your time and sanitize like the instructions say you should not have any problems. Its so much cheaper than buying beer from a store. In fact I'm brewing beer for my wedding! This is the most used Christmas present from 2008. The supplier was great and got it plenty of time. What more can one say about a kit that is only $40 and includes everything you will need to make 3 two-gallon batches of beer? While it isn't the highest quality beer, it is a fantastic learning experience and can certainly whet your appetite for homebrewing. For me, this kit was only the beginning of my exploration into the world and art of home beermaking. I have since bought a few books, higher quality equipment and begun experimenting using different malt, hop and yeast combinations from my local homebrew supply store (which you can do with this kit as well).
Prior to this kit, I really didn't consider myself a huge beer aficionado...just a casual enjoyer of a nice cold pint. While I am not a master brewer now, learning about brewing has increased my appreciation of what goes into the making of beer and the long and fascinating history behind it.
Right now we are in a heyday of home and micro-brewing with new local breweries opening constantly. Go ahead and get this kit, now is a great time to learn about humanity's oldest and most widely consumed alcoholic beverage. And let's not forget that in these days of 'going green,' making your own brew is the environmentally friendly way to go.
So educate yourself and save the environment while you're at it!!! Drink homemade beer!!! Make your own premium beer at a fraction of the cost of store bought beer. Brew your own beer in 14 days (7 days to ferment and 7 days to carbonate), simple, fun, and inexpensive. Makes a case of premium beer. Includes a Mr. Beer Brew Keg with lid, West Coast Pale Ale beer mix, 8-1 liter PET bottles, Booster Pack for flavor enhancement and alcohol boost, One-Step Cleanser to clean and disinfect brewing and bottling equipment, Mr. Beer Brewer's Guide inclusive of brewing tips, recipes, and the most frequently asked questions to get the most out of your Mr. Beer brewing system. Simple 4-step instructions. In just 14 days, beginning and advanced brewers alike can enjoy a glass of premium, handcrafted beer with this home-brewing kit. The 2-1/2-gallon brew keg features a pour tap and wide-mouthed lid for easy cleaning by hand. Included with this microbrewery kit are a can of West Coast Pale Ale mix, which produces a mild, full-bodied beer, a single-use packet of booster, which contains all-natural carbohydrates that enhance flavor and boost alcohol content, and brewer’s yeast. The beer-making ingredients are simply mixed with water, left to brew in the keg at room temperature for a week, and then put into the kit’s eight one-liter PET bottles for another week, during which time natural carbonation takes place. No CO2 cartridges are needed to enhance sparkleor beer head. Plastic bottle caps and labels are also included, as well as an instruction booklet full of brewing tips and recipes. Other Mr. Beer mixes and booster packs can be ordered separately. The keg is made of FDA-compliant PVC, which does not impart taste or color and is virtually indestructible.--Ann Bieri Rerations < Mr. Beer Premium Edition Home Microbrewery System >

(looks durable and good, but a couple of unexpected facts...)
(Hot hotter and cold colder....)
(Love it, can't live without it!)
(Very sturdy travel mug) I love this coffee mug! I had purchased one for my husband from Brookstone a couple years ago but they don't carry it any more. Found this one on Amazon for a lesser price but the same quality. Keeps my coffee hot all the way to work and through the morning. This costs much more than other thermo cups because its brand 'Nissan'.
I expected this is made in USA, but it is not. It is made in Malaysia. I was so disappointed because there are many other cheaper thermo cups made in China.
I also expected it is 18/10 stainless steel inside, but it is not either. it is 18/8.
I would like to people who want better quality from this product know about this. I couldn't find this facts from product description before I bought.
The product shape and function works good though. This Thermos has a tremendous capacity for keeping my coffee hot. (However it performs much better when preheated. Yes, I actually read the directions.) It was well worth the money and I am saving space because I threw away a bunch of substandard insulated mugs. I've had this product for several years, and have used it in a variety of conditions (from camping to snow trips, and everything in between), including taking it with me every single day on my motorcycle to work. It is the ONLY mug I've ever had that is both convenient and free from the risk of spillage, especially important when it's in my trunk with my laptop and work papers. I heartily recommend it to anyone looking for a mug, and would suggest getting replacement bands for the lid as well (they do wear out after a few years). Wonderful travel mug. Keeps coffee warm for hours. Very strong and sturdy. Easy to clean thoroughly. When you buy a Thermos Nissan product, you're buying the best food or drink storage container you'll ever own. For keeping food and beverages at the perfect temperature in any environment, nothing compares to Thermos Nissan. The Thermos Leak Proof Travel Mug is designed to fit most automotive car holders or can be clipped to a belt, backpack or bag. Product features: Thermax double wall vacuum insulation for maximum temperature retention. Unbreakable stainless steel interior and exterior Leak-proof sealable top Ergonomically designed soft touch padded handle Comfortable silicone rubber grip Sweat-proof design won't leave water rings. Cool to the touch with hot liquids. With a 2-3/4-inch bottom that fits most vehicle drink holders, this lightweight mug makes hot coffee, tea, or chocolate available on the road. Hot beverages stay hot for at least 1 hour. Cold beverages stay chilled for several hours. Twist the finely threaded stopper tight, and the mug won't leak even if it's knocked over. Twist it about a quarter-turn and drink out of either side--lips on both sides make it easy--without removing the stopper. Made of stainless steel and tough plastic, with a rubber inset inside the handle for comfort and a rubberized ring around the body for a firm grip, the mug is handsome and virtually unbreakable. It stands 7-1/4 inches high, and its smooth stainless-steel interior cleans easily with a sponge or cloth. (Great product, easy to use!)
(Piece of junk)
(A decent item)
(At first I thought it was broken .. :)) I clipped this onto the wire rack in my oven and can actually read it without opening the door. I compared it with a digital probe type and both read about the same temp. Seems worth the money to me. This reasonably priced thermometer is easy to read, simple to use, and very accurate. It told me that my oven was 7 degrees off. I adjust accordingly. This thermometer does not work. The dial does not seem to be connected and it does not move as the oven temperature changes. This handy item allows me the assurance I need to bake with accuracy. It does the job and it is very economical .. Yes, out of the box, the needle was pointing beyond, that is 'reversed' counterclockwise to the zero point. I thought it was junk, and researched and found the name plate not having Sunbeam, etc .. I thought I was duped, but ..
.. I was so wrong. The 3 little dots under the bottom center SHOULD be described as the zero-point, 'somewhere,' but aren't.
And, well .. ahem .. the certification is very real. And the thermometer (do I mention the 1st time it read really low? .. yes) .. is perfect. For whatever reason though (it has a sealed back, so maybe it took time or something) it read like 50 degrees low, which confirmed I should return it, .. but for $5+ return shipping .. ? No, I'll just live with it and throw it in a drawer and grumble when I stumble on it.
And now? It's great! I have it a couple of months now, and have come to rely on it. Truly. I'm a lab tech that calibrates instruments for my living, well, when I'm not doing other R&D stuff, and this is a buy at $6, or most any reasonable price.
You don't need to hesitate at all. This is the one, unless you're ready to spend much more .. buy me :)

(Good accessory addition)
(Great Gift)
(Pretty Good.)
(Safety and Storage) I read quite a few reviews before purchasing the blade/disc holder and had none of the problems people listed. This looks great, keeps the blades safe and secure out of the reach of my children, and is very convenient to use. This product is well worth the effort and expense. It keeps the discs and blades neatly stored and out of the way while in the cabinet. I highly recommend this product as an addition to your Cuisinart food processor. This was bought as a gift for my brother, and he loves it. Very nice item. This takes up a lot of space; it does protect your blades. Nothing's perfect.....but this serves it's purpose. Food processing implements can be extremely sharp. People frequently cut themselves just fishing out the appropriate disc or blade. The Cuisinart Blade and Disc Holder provides compact and convenient storage with easy and safe access to all implements. I would have great safety concerns have the many sharp edges floating loose. I'm so glad I have this storage device. Rummaging around a kitchen drawer for the right slicing blade can be a risky undertaking. The solution to disorganization and possible bodily injury is this specially designed holder. This simple unit provides safe, convenient, and attractive countertop storage for three Cuisinart blades and three cutting disks. It's designed to be used as stand-alone storage or side by side with Cuisinart's supplemental disk holder. The effective tamper-resistant locking device must be pulled out and twisted 90 degrees to access the cutting tools, and it automatically relocks when the lid is closed. Blades cannot be accessed via the open bottom, and disks can only be removed through the locking top. Moreover, when all three storage slots are occupied, the cutting edges of each disk are completely protected. Each blade holder is shaped to snugly fit its designated blade. High-impact plastic and external surfaces are smooth and curved to facilitate cleaning.--Toni Reineke Rerations < Cuisinart Blade and Disc Holder >

(essential for good latte)
(Makes me happy in the morning)
(nice product.....but)
(best brand for good quality!) This is a metal cup that you can use to froth milk. What more can I say? Perfect size and style. I usually do one cup, but big one. So I can have enough space for latte or even cappuccino (more foam). I am using it at home but would use the same in coffee shop. Found on lsdeal.com and I think it's the best value on Internet considering free shipping. [...] I don't have a whole lot to say, it's a great size, great shape and dishwasher safe. I love it. This pitcher is big enough to use for multiple servings, but yet small enough to use on one serving, and doesn't take up that much space. However, I'm not looking for a Pitcher that is microwave safe, as I have to "steam" microwave the milk in a coffee cup, then transfer to the Pitcher.... I end up making a mess and have too many dishes. I make my esspresso in a Bialetti Brinka which is has outstanding results...just need a way to make less of a mess getting milk ready.
this is the best steam pitcher out there! the design is exelent. its made of thick stainless steal, witch is great for holding the cold temperature of the milk, this is very important as the most of the foaming happens while the milk is still below 100F. this give you more time to work with. although, the one i receved had some minor scratches on it. but they are not very big. so over all i like it alot! (Big Taste for a little pot)
(Cuisinart four cup coffee maker)
(good purchase)
(Terrible design&the carafe leaks.) This coffeemaker has a stainless steel carafe so it will not break. It is compact and yet makes a great cup of coffee. My dh and I are trying to cut down on our coffee consumption for a number of reasons. We tried two different single serve pod coffee makers, and while he liked one of them, it made weak coffee for me. This 4-cup was on sale for a good price, and I decided to try it. It had the basic features that I wanted: a cone filter (we haven't liked basket coffee makers); an automatic shut off (for safety reasons) and good reviews overall about the taste. I was concerned about the dripping, but thought I would try the maker by using only water first. I had no problem at all pouring - no drips. I wonder if others have had problems over time because the heat may cause the lid to flex a little? I am crossing my fingers, and hope to avoid it by not dish washing, only washing by hand. I also will not use the "pause" feature because of the other reviews here.
The first pot I brewed I used an unbleached filter, filtered water, and tried five tablespoons of a french roast organic coffee. I love strong coffee, and that was surprisingly too strong. I will be trying four tablespoons next. My dh and I have large mugs - I like mine light with milk, he likes his with soy. I measured, and we each had our mugs filled with one measured cup of coffee, and there was a cup left over (so we each had a cup/mug and a half.) This was prior to adding the milk and soy. In the past we would each have two mugs like the above, and a mug in the afternoon. Hopefully we will be each having a mug and a half in the morning, and perhaps one more in the afternoon, and eventually give up the afternoon mug. But, I want my mug to be flavorful, and the coffee that this brews definitely is. I would have given this maker five stars but for the following:
1) I don't have any long term experience with it yet; 2) The lid is a little awkward getting off; 3) From previous comments and from looking at it brew (looking at it brew sideways with a flashlight!) I feel as if I will need to make sure that the pot is centered under the "pause" button to ensure that the button is "up" and the coffee is brewing - I would rather not have to think about that. Maybe I will become more comfortable over time.
Last, the positives far outweigh the negatives. We have tried a few coffee makers, and our primary goal is a good, rich cup of coffee, which lots of them don't seem to make. So far, so good. The automatic turn off function is a very bad feature...burner goes off in a half hour and coffee gets cold...if I had understood this function I would not have bought this coffee maker...should be explained more clearly by manufacturer...my interpretation was that you could activate or deactivate this function. Constance Wright Looked a little smaller than imagined, but is a good product for our need. The only critique the lid is difficult to open should have a lip. The carafe, the firs item to break is metal and that is wonderful but of course you can't see what's inside. A good product a praise to the maker and to Amazon Purchased this coffee maker a few weeks ago and hate it.
1) Very small capacity, barley enough for 2 average sized mugs of coffee.
2) The carafe leaks terrible between the metal and plastic surround. I'm working with Cuisinart now to get a replacement. Not sure how that will work out, so I can't comment on their response. This appears to be a fairly widespread issue with this carafe.
3) Electrical chord should be longer.
4) Small but stupid design error. The on/off button is hard to push so you have to hold the coffee maker still in order to push it.
5) There are far too many better designed coffee makers in this price range to chose this one. 4-cup stainless steel carafe with dripless pour spout and knuckle guard Brew Pause? feature allows you to pour a cup of coffee before brewing has finished 30-minute automatic shutoff On indicator light 3-year limited warranty 6 11/16 W x 11 1/64 H x 8 21/32 D weighs 4 lbs. (Pyrex Storage Glass Bowls with Lids)
(Excellent storage!)
(Fifty Percent Awesome)
(Pyrex glass dishes with lids) I am very pleased with this set. With so much negativity concerning plastic, I wanted to get back to old fashioned glass storage items. These are a perfect varity of sizes and are made by Pyrex,a company I have always trusted. This product is durable and keeps food fresh for days. I use the bowls for storing my toddler's meals at home and when we're on the go. The lids are secure and they come in three different sizes. They're easy to wash and they're dishwasher and microwavable safe. They're definitely worth the price. These containers are great. Easy to use and convenient to store leftovers. The lids seal tight and snap on with ease. The shape of the bowls make it easy to serve or eat from. And cleanup is a breeze because of the round shape; no corners deal with. I purchased this set when it went on sale for Gold Box. I was excited to pick up some pieces that were dishwasher/microwave safe. I also wanted to go with glass because it won't stain with spaghetti sauce and, let's face it, there's at least a little bit of scariness around whether or not plastics lead to potential health problems.
Pyrex makes the best glassware, and these are no exception. However, they also totally missed the boat with the provided lids, which are cheap-quality, hard to put on and take off, and possibly not airtight. Having such sub-par quality lids with this type of high-quality glassware really killed the usefulness of this set for me. Plus, the sizes included here are somewhat odd. While not a fault of the product itself, the four small bowls that are included spend a lot of time on the shelf, as I usually do not store such negligible amounts of food.
I picked up a Glasslock set from my local club store and have actually been much more impressed with those. The lids are much easier to put on and take off, they're airtight for sure, and the rectangular shape makes them more usable in my opinion. I ordered this set as an extra set for our summer home. I love these dishes for storage of foods in the refrigerator and for microwave use. They are a perfect addition to any kitchen! Pyrex Storage 14-piece set with lids includes 4-each 2-cup round bowls with blue plastic storage covers, 2-each 4-cup round bowls with blue plastic storage covers, and 1-each 7-cup round bowl with blue plastic storage covers. Pyrex Storage products come with seal tight plastic lids for secure food storage. They are designed for reheating leftovers and convenient refrigerator storage. The durability of Pyrex Storage allows stacking for efficient space utilization. There's no substitute for Pyrex, the original glass bakeware. Introduced 90 years ago and made of a durable, high temperature material, Pyrex remains the ideal medium for safe, dependable food preparation. Keep your leftovers chilled or frozen in these durable glass containers with plastic lids. The clear glass lets you see at a glance what's inside, and the stackability factor helps you neatly store dried pasta, cereal, and other items on your shelf. When you're ready to reheat those leftovers, bring to room temperature then warm in the oven or microwave. Pyrex glass is nonporous, so it won't stain or absorb food odors. And, unlike plastic containers, glass won't emit harmful chemicals during microwave use. This 14-piece storage set consists of seven round glass bowls: one large seven-cup; two medium-size four-cup; and four handy two-cup (great for lunches). Each has its own seal-tight, blue plastic lid. Incredibly durable as long as sudden changes in temperature are avoided, Pyrex glassware is safe for the oven, microwave, freezer, refrigerator, and dishwasher, and even looks good serving at the table. Please avoid using the lids in the microwave and oven, and wash by hand or on the dishwasher's top rack. Pyrex covers the glass bowls with a two-year warranty, and the lids with a one-year warranty. And of course, you can never go wrong with Lodge products. I found this tool very useful especially when you are out in the woods or at a campsite. I expected it to be made in TN like other Lodge products. It's good quality and does it's job but yet another made in china part. The Lid Lifter is a must have with any dutch oven. Makes lifting the hot lid with coals a simple and safe task. I recommend for outdoor cooking enthusiast everywhere. Worked very well if you aren't using a tripod. The tripod makes it a little dificult to get the lid lifter secure on the lid.
This is an essential tool when cooking in a camp Dutch oven. The "T" bar design adds leverage and comes in handy when lifting the lid or moving Dutch ovens from fire to table. Constructed from heavy duty steel with high temperature black finish. 15" in length, 9 mm bar stock. Rerations < Lodge Camp Dutch Oven Lid Lifter >

customer 's review (Yup, they're bigger bags alright.)
(Do the Math - VERY EXPENSIVE (about $0.50 per use) and not Very Good.)
(What can you say?)
(Food Saver Rolls.)
(Love my foodsaver) These are larger bags that work with the FoodSaver. Like the smaller bags, they work...and that's about it. The endless bag idea is great, if it were economical, and if the bags were of decent enough quality to hold a vacuum.
OUTRAGEOUS COST At $27 for 18 feet of bags, my cost per 1 foot bag is $1.50. At the very, very best, you can use the bag three times, or $0.50 per use. This is ridiculously expensive. What a gimmick.
PROBLEMS * The only way you can reuse the bag is if you make a giant bag long enough to hold a broom. Every time you open it, you have to cut it below the seal, and discard the portion above it and toss out a piece of your bag. After two to three uses, you will have a tiny bag that is good for sealing handful of coffee beans, once! True that they are reusable, but with a huge caveat.
* When you seal things with liquid it in, they end up in the machine, and interfere with a proper seal. You will get a leak.
* When you seal powdery substance (ground coffee, corn meal, etc.) they will again interfere with the seal.
* Mystery leaks. Some times they just leak and I cannot figure out how or why. I attribute this to faulty thin bags, which are inferior grade relative to the original ones that came with the machine.
OTHER REVIEWS The highest rated review in Amazon is from a person who claims to save money by buying 2 rolls every two weeks. THAT IS ABOUT $800-900 PER YEAR, if you add tax and delivery. Not accusing anyone of being an insider or inflating their observations, just poor math. Just how much did they save?
POSITIVES It stows well in the FoodSaver device.
SUMMARY Do your homework and look at everything in the market before you fall for the "save" sell point. It may save the food, but it will empty your wallet doing it. Like the title says...what can you say about vac sealer rolls? They are sealer material on a roll...just as advertised. The work great, just like the rolls that came with the sealer. The price was good, but after adding in shipping, it was very close to the price I could get at a local store. I have not used it yet. It looks pretty good except it is thinner than the original that came with the seal-a-meal. I will send another review after I use it. Lucy Cyllinan We received the Food Saver from a family member who had 'upgraded' and we were skeptical. I personally didn't think it would seal well and figured in 6 months, I'd be throwing yet another dust covered gadget into the garage. We were converts in 2 days. I was packing up the last of the summer peppers for the freezer and froze a back of sliced peppers and got a beautiful tight airless seal. 6 months later I am still using the same bag, I left a large length and cut it, take out what i need and reseal each time. Every time I get a beautiful seal that lasts until I open the pkg whether it's days or months later. I've used this for meats bought in large packages, to vegetables from the garden, to yeast that I rarely use. The rolls are VERY convenient and (unlike the bags I was given with the FoodSaver) have a nice big spot to write the contents.
I admit, had I not been given the machine, we probably would have never tried it. But now that I have it, I don't know how I lived without it.
OH! and the amount of space in the freezer it saves! Those peppers don't get all mushed up but the airtight seal takes up about 1/3 of the space a regular freezer bag would take! Another benefit!
Goodbye freezer burn, good bye mystery gray freezer-to-trash meat, goodbye running out of room in the freezer every 2 weeks. :)
Vacuum package your food with the Tilia FoodSaver system and it will stay fresh 3-5 times longer. These bags are freezer safe and actually prevent freezer burn. They can be microwaved or boiled to cook the food within. Designed to be used with all Tilia FoodSaver vacuum-packaging machines, the two rolls of material in this package can be cut and sealed at both ends to create custom-size food-storage bags. Each roll is 11 inches wide and 18 feet long. The material is a three-layer construction--two plastic layers and an outer layer of nylon--that keeps moist foods moist, dry foods dry, and all foods from leaking odor. Bags can go directly into a microwave oven or boiling water to reheat food. They are resealable, reusable, and dishwasher-safe.--Fred Brack Rerations < FoodSaver Continuous Roll Bag Material, 11 Inch by 18 Feet (2 Rolls) >

(Good but not great coffee maker)
(I love it!)
(Thank goodness for warranties!)
(Great coffemaker!) Love this coffee pot. Like the design and the way it looks and brews a great cup of coffee. Purchased this to replace a 10 year old Mr Coffee that worked fine but I was tired of replacing the cheap carafes. For the published price of this machine I think it is over-rated. A few complaints: 1) No way to shut off the annoying 5 beep sound telling you the coffee is done. (This is a nice feature except that I get up earlier than others in the household and it does sound like an alarm clock) 2) No backlit clock. Even my $35 Mr Coffee had this so it could be used as a reference clock in the kitchen. This unit you have to be less than 3 feet away at eye level to even see the numbers; the clock is there for programming use only in my opinion. 3) Filling issues. As others have noted it is a small issue as if you are not careful it is easy to spill over into the dry grounds. Not a major problem but for the price of the unit I would consider it a major design flaw. 4) Coffee flavor good but nothing to get too excited about. We use filtered water at the tap so it isn't our water. Don't see much of an improvement over my old machine so can only give it 3 stars. The color is not a perfect match with the red in my kitchen but it is close enough. My coffee is good and hot,the place where you pour the water works fine for me, and it will adjust the strength for a small amount of coffee. I'm very pleased with my purchased! I purchased this coffee maker in December, 2008, based on consumer comments. Six months later, water poured into the coffee maker spilled out the bottom onto the counter. After calling Cuisinart, they agreed to honor their warranty by sending us a replacement, as long as we returned the faulty product. We have received the replacement in a timely fashion, however, we are expected to pay return postage which will probably exceed $10! We have been using this for about a week and so far are extremely happy with this coffeemaker. I had a Black&Decker that quit working after about 3 months and a Mr. Coffee that took at LEAST 20 minutes to make a pot of coffee!
This coffeemaker makes a pot quick and makes it hot. I LOVE the carafe, you can pour a cup anywhere and not spill any coffee! The clocks is fairly easy to set and since we don't use the programming on it dont' know about that yet but it looks like it's easy to set up. I saw some reviews complain about the access to pour water into the coffeemaker and I personally don't believe it is too small. I also like that the coffeemaker beeps when it is finished making the coffee since I am usually in another room while it is brewing.
I would buy this coffeemaker again in an instant! This classically designed coffeemaker is accented with stainless steel for a look that is sure to enhance your countertop. The 12-cup carafe features an ergonomic handle, dripless spout and knuckle guard for comfortable, drip-free pouring. Fully automatic, the DCC-1100 has 24-hour programmability and 1-4 cup setting for those times you don't need a full pot of coffee. The Brew Pause feature lets you pour a cup before brewing is completed, while the gold tone coffee filter and charcoal water filter ensure fresh, delicious tasting coffee.
