(Great Hiking Sock! NO BLISTERS)
『I studied reviews about Injinji online before I bought these to go on a strenuous 10 mile hike in the North Georgia Mountains - My first hike ever by the way. needed a sock that would help prevent blisters/pain as I have the world's most sensitive feet hands down! I get blisters even when walking.

Reviews were promising so...I got 2 pairs of socks, wasn't used to the "toes", so I wore them 2 days before the hike, just in case, to get a feel for them.

You must know - THESE ARE THE BEST DARN SOCKS!!! I wore my favorite KEEN hiking sandals - womens size 10.5 (usually wear size 10) my foot seemed to slide around a bit, these socks kept my feet warm yet cool, comfortable and cushioned (yes cushioned) and NO BLISTERS - NOT EVEN A HINT. They stay conformed to the shape of your foot and do not roll down. I wore the NUWOOL crew socks up the mountain and CoolMax mini crew socks back down the mountain. Best performance socks for the money and got lots of compliments from other!』

(Not Just for Runners Anymore...)
『I originally bought a pair of Injinji Tetrasocks a couple of years ago to replace the thin silk liners that I wore under my heavy wool hiking socks while backpacking. I wasn't sure whether or not they would work at first. The company's marketing campaign at the time was pretty much geared toward long-distance runners, and the number of different types of socks they offered was very small. The ones I bought were a little too thickto use as liners (the company now offers an ultra-thin sock just for that purpose). But I decided to give them a try anyway, and I'm sure glad I did. They worked like a charm. Injinji's claims of eliminating blisters turned out to be absolutely true, at least in my case. Wearing them, I never got a blister while backpacking over very rugged terrain in the mountains of the Southwestern U.S.--something that I can't say about my old silk liners.

That experience led me to try them for everyday use. Having done so, I'm even more impressed, to the extent that I am now in the process of replacing ALL of my regular socks with Tetrasocks. They are very well-made, durable, comfortable, liberating and suitable for any and all uses--walking, running, lounging, traveling or just for warmth on cold winter nights. They come in three lengths--Micro, Mini-Crew and Crew. The Micros are REALLY short and the Crews are pretty long--I find the Mini-Crew to be just right.

Tetrasocks are an ingenious product that really does live up to the hype, and Injinji is constantly expanding the line. Business must be good. I recommend them highly.

They are the perfect solution for blisters that I get when walking 10,000+ steps a day - I've tried all the other solutions offered by FootSmart&none work as well as these socks. My third&fourth toes have a tendency to flatten under the other toes&this solves that. I like the weight of these for chilly weather - am hoping I can find some lighter-weight toe socks for summer, although these do breathe well. 『The watch is a little more basic than my last one. The numbers are the largest ever on a watch. I can see it without my glasses. Overall it is fine. The service was good.』

(Band design is awful. Watch functionality is great)
『Poor band design:
The battery lasted six months. When changing the battery the band had to be removed. My local jewellery store nor I could get the pins to seat to put back the band after spending 45 minutes on this. Turns out the pin seats (holes) are in a plastic retainer which looked worn after six months and the pins wont seat easily (not at all in my case). I called the company and they said they would put the band on for free. Very prompt and polite customer service.

Great display and functions:
The display is great. The six alarms are handy as is the countdown timer. Sleek
without the bulk (and smaller numbers) of some Casios. It is a little slow changing between modes. I dont anticipate it lasting indefinitely like my Casio g-shocks which are indestructible. Still a lot of functions in an elegant (albeit not robust) package for about 50 bucks. The large display easily beats the Casios I was looking at before buying this watch. Havent used the 100 lap function though
its great if you need it.

(Very well thought out watch for interval training)
『I bought this watch to help me with the "Couch to 5K" (c25k) running program. This entails nine weeks of running three times per week. It progresses from a very easy start (first week starts with brisk five minute walk, then alternate 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking for a total of 20 minutes). Then the second week it's 90 seconds of jogging, 2 minutes of walking, and so on, until by the end of it you're running 3 miles or 20 minutes non-stop. It's a nice program for people who are out of shape. So I wanted a watch that could help me time all this, and this model does the trick perfectly. It's been a while since I owned a digital watch, and I'm impressed with how much thought has gone into the design. The little things jumped out at me when I started playing with it - for example, pressing the 'Reset' button will show in big letters 'HOLD to reset' while you have it pressed in, which makes it obvious how it works. If you know the general idea of how these things usually work, then you really don't need a manual. Here's a quick rundown:

The mode button cycles through the screens - Time, Chrono (stopwatch), Timer (countdown), Inttmp (Interval timer) and Alarm. If you stop at any of those, then after a few seconds, pressing Mode again will take you back to the main Time screen. I really like the feel of the buttons - they have a very satisfying clicky kind of action, without being too stiff.

Other nice touches: The countdown timer has the option of either stopping, repeating, or going automatically to Chrono (stopwatch) at the end. That last one is ingenious - it means I can set the countdown for 5 minutes to do my warmup walk, and then it'll go straight into stopwatch so I can tell how far I am into my total workout time. When the countdown finishes and the chrono begins, I can then switch over to the interval timer mode and start that program. For the first week, I am setting two intervals - 60 seconds and 90 seconds, and repeating at the end. While the intervals are running, the watch displays which interval you're on (1 or 2 in this case) and which rep too. Also, the different timers can be running simultaneously - so the chrono is keeping track of my total time, while the interval timers give me cues for when to run and when to walk. The beeps are very audible and hard to miss in a normal street environment.

Even for later weeks, when it gets more complicated, this watch will still be able to do what I need - for example, week 4 has the five minute warmup walk followed by jog 3 minutes, walk 90 seconds, jog 5 minutes, walk 2.5 minutes, jog 3 minutes, walk 90 seconds, jog 5 minutes. That is 7 different times, which can be expressed using the interval timers - there are nine, so just use 7 and do one single interval (rather than the usual reps).

I don't use alarms much, but there are five of them and they are very easy to set and turn on and off. Also, you can set each alarm to be active on weekdays, or weekends, or specific days of the week. I guess if you had a different schedule for each working day, then you could set an alarm for each one in theory.

The watch feels good on your wrist - it's not the smallest, but it's not as clunky as I was fearing either. I have pretty small wrists, but it doesn't feel too big at all.

I like the light feature, and the Flix function seems to work well too - you don't have to flick your wrist very hard to make it happen. That might be useful in situations where you only have one hand free.

I really like how the watch display is very simple, and the numbers are large and easy to read. Very nice for when you just want to take a quick glance while on the move without having to squint or decipher what the heck it is supposed to be showing. A lot of watches have little gimmicky graphics that look good in the store but actually just waste valuable space. This watch just shows you what you want to see, in a very easy to read manner.

The Chrono has 100 lap memories, but I have not used this yet. I guess it would be useful if you are doing a lot of running around a track.

All in all I am loving this watch - it's really hard to think of anything they got wrong here. It seems like someone put a lot of thought into it. If you need something for doing interval training, particularly running outside, then this is just the thing. I don't know how noticeable the beeps would be in a loud gym environment, but it seems pretty loud to me. Since it's so close to you, I think it would have to be pretty loud music for you not to be able to hear it.

And, of course, it's a fine wristwatch too. I'm tickled pink at finding this thing, it's a real gem.』

(Best Rubber Watch, Ever...)
『Alright, quickly now...

I have worn rubber watches since the ground-breaking debut of the Casio J-50 Jogger/Pacer watch. Anyone who wears rubber watches knows this drill: wear them until the battery goes; attempt battery replacement; throw watch away and purchase new one (and take advantage of innovations transpiring in the meantime).

This is, far and away, the best rubber utility watch I have purchased. The display is LARGE and has no equal that I could find. The numerous functions and mode features are easily accessible and thoughtfully placed. The construction is rugged and designed for rigorous wear. This watch also ticked (seemingly timelessly for a single battery) w/o interruption for three years before... THE DREADED DEATH OF BATTERY LEADING TO OPEN SURGERY.

Well, I did it! IT LIVES!!! I must say that it was a pain in the a** and requires several deep breaths to contain one's frustration. The band does, indeed, have to be removed and is secured by spring-loaded pins that can release the spring-loaded pin portion (to be lost forever in the carpet) quite easily. The battery replacement involves the usual, delicate procedure to emplace the new battery (CR25) typical of such watches, and the screw heads on the back enclosure are especially small. But, nevertheless, it can be done. Hopefully, I won't have to face this coming-of-age challenge again.

I highly recommend this watch for any outdoor (or indoor, for that matter) enthusiast.』

『I'm 5'8" and ~126 lbs. It's hard to find leggings tall enough for me. I ordered the small, and these go right down to my ankles. They're as opaque as in the picture. Heather gray is heather gray, as listed. The waist and thighs are perfect (thighs are usually too tight on me, while the waist is usually too big) but the crotch is pulled down a bit (I just yank them back up with the waist band)

It takes about 20 minutes to get my heart rate high at all. It seems like it will be a good machine for toning my arms, butt and legs but that is about it. My husband however likes it, he is around 215 lbs and breaks a sweat almost immediately. So it seems for people who are already in shape at an average weight for their height and age the Gazelle doesn't seem to do much- but TONE. But if you are heavier and do not excercise regulary the Gazelle is a nice start to that.』

One thing I want to stress is the this bottle seems not working in hot water, say, boiling water. I see no changes in the inside of the bottle or any special smell, but if you keep some boiling water in the bottle for some days and didn't open it up, finally when you open it the odor is awful. I believe this is just not a hot water bottle.』

『I was looking for an unconventional G-Shock, found this Pathfinder with all I needed plus a different look. Very functional, big size, above expectations.』

(Huge watch. Neat features!)
『I was totally shocked by the size of this monster watch. 5/8 inch thick (.66 inch) and 2 1/8 in diameter (2.07 inches) by my calipers. That is why I am giving the watch one star off, good luck wearing it with a shirt that has a buttoned cuff.
The watch band is really thick and heavy duty, 7/8 inches wide with the usual metal buckle/slots. The watch band is SCREWED into place. Need 2 flat bladed screwdrivers to remove. Good luck finding a replacement band with Velcro or something.
The plastic face is recessed a bit by the movable compass ring. Looks like it is durable enough, no idea how easily it scratches. Will find out soon I am sure.
As for the watch functions. Wow. Amazing watch. It has a huge screen 1 1/4 inches wide and contains two layers of LCDs along with different colors, green for functions and blue for the compass. The time shows up in 1/4 inch numbers readable across the room (literally). Modes besides compass, barometer/temperature, altitude are Min/Max altitude and stop watch. Can have some amazingly small numbers and symbols for a watch this size. The P for PM is about the limit that my eyes can read. Lots of alarms. Easy to adjust pretty much anything on the watch, time, date, compass, temperature, etc. Luckily everything is changeable to degrees F and mm of mercury for us non-metric folks. Compass is a little jerky (1-2 second delay) and have not yet time to see how well the altitude setting works. Temperature seems to be sluggish in updating.
The background light is quite bright and everything can be read easily enough. Of course, with that much square footage of screen size, I can use it to find keyholes and such. Heh. There is a tip to light feature.
THERE ARE 4 BATTERIES SR927W. The back come off with just 8 phillips screws, no prying necessary. 4 screws on the back, 2 screws with half threaded on the buttons side, and 2 screws fully threaded on the sensor side. There are two bottoms, a rubbery plastic (which goes against your wrist) and a metal one with the serial number on it. No mention of battery types unfortunately. The metal back has the very thin water seal gasket that looks like a pain but is not really. Just put the seal in place,hold the bottom flat with the seal up, and place the watch on top, bending out the wrist band tabs so it will go on.
So, if you like BIG watches that look like it will go through hell and back (bring extra batteries) while telling you what the temperature is and how deep you are, this is your watch.

The Pathfinder 2271 is the right size, and a really nice piece.

I am very happy with my purchase and after one days use, this watch, is exactly precise in its time keeping, -to the second.

Is it the same as a Swiss made watch, no, but the Casio Pathfinder is good in its own way: No disappointments here.

『I bought this item to wear while hiking in the summer to protect my arms from ticks. It was a great, lightweight piece of clothing, but while the fabric wicked away sweat well enough, it also reatined the smell of said sweat. After a long day of hiking in the woods, this shirt was somewhere in between ripe and rancid and everyone around me knew it! On other occasions when I was not exerting myself as much it functioned perfectly, wicking away persperation and not retaining the scent.

Other thoughts, I bought white, and wish I hadn't since it doesn'tcome all the way clean, even with pretreating and bleach. My shirts are now a very subtle shade of gray.

As long as you aren't someone who gets cold easily, this shirt would probably serve extremely well in early spring and late fall. Being a hot bodied person, I see myself using this throughout the winter.』

『In general, I like this product; however, I get frustrated with how quickly it rolls and comes off. It would defeat the purpose to tape it down with other tape, and yet I find that I have to at least tape down the ends. Otherwise, I like the stability that it gives to my knees, and that it is comfortable while it does so. Ty!』
