My opinion about the pants is mixed right now, think I should give them a running chance. But the double-lined mesh is stitched independent of the pant liner, which is sort of annoying for me to put on. I'm shorter than average, so even a regular length is somewhat too long for me. The liner fabric doesn't seem to stretch too much before it might rip. It does have two pockets, drawstring, and zippers on the bottom of the pants for ventilation. The liner is somewhat windproof but not waterproof. Windproof, highly breathable, lightweight material with a great feel (not cheapo Nylon stuff). These sweatpants are good for a wide variety of uses. I use them primarily for working out in the gym or warmup/cooldown for soccer. I have several pairs. I received the item today, and I must say, while I am impressed how sturdy they look, with adjustable velcro all the way around, it is HUGE. I look like I have gorilla feet, even when I remove 3 weights off from each. They look durable and long lasting, but the velcro is almost too strong to be taking it on and off frequently... in fact my thumb's sore from tring to rip the velcro off. The box clearly shows a man using the weights, yet the product description does not provide sufficient detail. These are so versitile that you have alot of use for them. You can adjust the weights to the weight you can tollerate, and build yourself up. Like any and all New Balance shoes I have owned, they are quite comfortable. The sole provides a lot of support, and all of the materials in this shoe are soft and comfortable. The tread seems a little thin compared to some shoes, but it is not noticeable when walking, and I am thinking that it may perhaps last a tad longer than thicker but softer treads. Compared to another pair of New Balance shoes I own, the ankle is not quite as supportive. This is something I haven't gotten used to yet, but I think is just a function of the different style and intent of this shoe model. The other pair was more "cross training," where this shoe seems aimed towards a more casual "walking" user. It was well packed, not just thrown in a box like some people claim. The quality of the device is real good. They've upgraded the brackets and screws to 8 total. It seems they've upgraded the handles. They seem to be a lot sturdier than other people described. I love doing the Australian pull-ups and the chest rows. I recommend this product to any one. Sounds great - mount a pullup bar in your standard door frame and make workouts easy. Unfortunately, they didn't tell you that you need to be short in stature to use the thing efficiently. By the time you mount the PP system in a standard door frame, and hang the grab handles on the bar, you're hanging so low that (if you're taller than 5'4) your knees are resting on the ground, making a full arm extension impossible. The screws that mount the brackets into the door frame are dangerously short and install very close to the outside of the door frame. If your door frame was shimmed out during installation (a common practice), the supplied screws might be too short to go into the studs, with potentially disastrous results. For your own safety, you might want to get some screws at least an inch longer from your local hardware store. You also need to consider carefully which door frame you install the brackets to; the PP bar swings out pretty far, and if your door frame opens into a hallway or near anything within four feet, you're going to bump into things while using the PP system. In my house, there are only two doorways that have enough clearance to use the PP effectively, so now I have brackets on the dining room entry - a great conversation starter. All-in-all, in my opinion, the Perfect Pullup is an interesting idea, poorly executed. Here's another one of these Swiss-army-knife pieces of exercise equipment that gives you a non-nominal range of exercise options with nothing more than one doorway and one piece of hardware. And not only is this a multi-faceted exercise station it is perfect for a range of starting fitness points. I've had now for a few months and have found it to be a great supplement to my "motley crew" of a home gym. I particularly enjoy the ever-present opportunity to finish off just about any shoulder/back pullup exercise with a few "last thought" biceps curls/pulls. The way this station is set up also seems to be perfectly suited for super-setting: you go from free-fall pullups to "australians" to stationary ("milking" your strength to the last drop - approximating the kind of exhaustion you'd get from the "negatives" paradigm). A word on the "psychology" of this piece of equipment: once installed in a doorway with moderate daily traffic, the pullup bar, in its conspicuosness, becomes one of those exercise-in-passing opportunities as you shuttle back and forth with your daily activities. A set of pullups here, a set of pullups there - it adds up (even if not to a systematic muscle-building routine, then at least to a nice back stretch). We live in an old remodeled victorian house with odd doorways and high ceilings. I decided to try this product to see if it would mount in one of our doorways. Perfect PullupMy husband, currently on crutches, installed it in a doorway with no difficulty. He said it was very easy. We all use it, including my children. They have to be careful not to try to swing on it but it makes strengthening their upper body more fun. I can now do 2 pullups instead of 1/2 of one. It is more versatile than just a bar. I think it is worth the price unless you have the perfect place to put a really cheap simple bar. I just wanted to post a review about the warranty service of BodyRev. I've been using the perfect pull-up since early May of 2008, and it's been working out great for me. I use it every day, and my roommate every other - perhaps 220 uses. Today while doing pull-ups, the left handle developed a crack in the silver plastic, what other reviewers have feared. The crack was very audible, and the entire handle didn't fall off or anything. I had ample time to stand up and relieve pressure from the handle. Although it shouldn't happen at all, this was a relief. After I inspected the handle, I called up BodyRev customer service (877-974-7733, in case anyone else needs to get a hold of them). They were very easy to understand (read: not outsourced), and able to help. After 5 minutes on hold with the first CS rep, I was transferred to the warranty dept. where Claire asked for details of the incident (speed of pull-up, weight, description of damage), took my name and address, and told me I'll get two new handles, free (no shipping charges), in 7-10 days. Total phone time: 13 minutes. That's not bad! So, if you've got problems with your hardware, definitely call for warranty service - it's good for a year after purchase. (Great workhorse of an automatic) If you don't wear the watch every day, it'll die on you after about a week of not wearing it. I know this is the nature of the automatic watch but was not aware that it was so annoying. Invicta makes the highest quality entry-level watches on the market. The steel band is as heavy as any I've found and despite my clumsy nature the crystal has remained scratch free for the past two years. The Japanese automatic movement in this watch is obviously not as precise as swiss counterparts. I charted my watches performance against the US Navy Master Clock for about a month and on average it gains about 7 seconds per day. So I do have to roll the dial back every few weeks, but if I only have to make that one concession in this price range then I consider this a fantastic buy. I love this watch; the quality, looks, and performance are far beyond what I would expect for a watch at this price. This Invicta absolutely smokes knockoff Rolexes that run in the $300 range. The casing is good and solid and it is an attractive watch that looks much nicer than its pricetag. A couple of things, however: the movement is not particularly robust so even if you wear this thing all around town one night the wind will exhaust itself by about 10:00 the next morning (assuming you do not put it back on). Also, the bracelet is adequate but of course does not begin to measure up to a higher quality brand. Yet I suppose both of these things are totally acceptable for a watch in this price range. Excellent value. I can't say much here that hasn't already been said. This watch is a steal at $100 and can usually be found for a few bucks cheaper with a little patience and effort. The band is really well-made - much nicer and heftier than typical at this price point. The two most common complaints - the weakness of the glow-in-the-dark material and the paltry date magnifier - are really minor and don't affect my appreciation of the watch. If your vision is bad enough that you struggle to see the date unmagnified, any magnifier isn't going to make that much of a difference. And how often do you really look at your watch 8 hours after you've shut off the light? The glow on mine definitely lasts for 5-6 hours, which is plenty impressive at this price range. The view of the concededly-undecorated movement is still fascinating and something you can't really get for this price with most watches. The screw-down crown is solid and easy to work with. The supposedly stiff bezel did loosen a bit with use and wasn't that tough to turn to begin with. The only real caveat is that Invicta is notoriously bad at customer service and is only spotty with quality control. The risk is that you'll get a slightly defective unit - a slightly off bezel, a screwy crown (har-har, no pun intended), or some other minor problem - and end up having to live with it or risk further damage, poor communication, and a loss of $25 and shipping under their "warranty." I'm reviewing the watch I received, which was flawless and deserves 5 stars. I've now bought two other Invictas and both have arrived in perfect condition. I imagine if I had to go through the headaches some of these other reviewers have warned about, I wouldn't be so gung ho. But if you want a fantastic automatic diver watch at 1/10 the price of most other options, and you don't mind taking a bit of risk, I wouldn't hesitate at all to purchase it.
