(A wonderful watch that always works and is always set) 『I stopped wearing a wrist watch about ten years ago when I started carrying a cell phone. Why have two time devices? In the last few years though I've started ditching my cell phone when I don't want to be disturbed. That left me with no time piece. My cell phone doesn't like to go swimming either.
So first I wanted a watch that I wouldn't have to keep replacing batteries in, 1. because it is a pain, but 2. I find that good water resistant watches often start leaking after the battery is replaced. Never opening the back of the watch is a good way to maintain the seal.
Second I have some of the radio controlled clocks around the house and I really like that they are always correct without me messing with them. So I wanted the same in a watch.
Finally it needed to be tough, because I am hard on my watches. When I was younger I had good luck with Casio and the "G-Shock" watch was always the "coolest." thing.
My wife dislikes big chunky digital watches though. This one with the analog face was a great compromise. It still has digital, and it is still durable, but the analog hands make it just a tad more classy.
I LOVE this watch. Here are some points:
1. The solar charging works great. I was afraid of letting it die, but it really doesn't have to be in light that much. It goes into power saving mode at night and stays there if you don't bring it into the daylight. So you can leave it in a drawer for weeks. On my wrist, even with long sleeves, it still manages to stay fully charged to "Hi" most of the time. Remember, too, if it does die, it will set itself with the radio when it charges up again.
2. The radio reception does work, but you do have to experiment with where to leave it at night. I just kept putting it in a different spot on my house each night until I found a spot where it was consistently getting the time overnight. Remember that weather affects this too, so try a few nights in each spot, and don't worry if it misses a night once in a while. You really don't need a set EVERY night. It will keep accurate time for a long while between setting itself to the radio.
3. The light is a slight disappointment in that it does NOT illuminate the digital sections. You get the time from the hands, but no date/day/etc. Hopefully you know what day it is. :) For my use it works fine. I usually have my cell phone if I need more than just the time. However, if you compare this to an analog watch with glow in the dark hands it is wonderful. I find the glow in the dark hands to be next to pointless on all but the most expensive diver's watches (and I don't own one of those). The light works great on the hands and it works every time and any time.
In short, great watch. If you want tough, solar, radio set and hands on the face, this is it!』

(Great watch; one minor quibble) 『I anguished over the choices for solar watches for quite a while. I read tons of reviews and checked out several options in stores. I finally settled on this Casio G-Shock and am very happy.
The first cool thing about this watch hit me when I took it out of its box after getting it from UPS: the hands immediately started twirling. When the watch notices that it is in the dark for several hours, it goes into powersave mode and shuts down the digital displays, but keeps the analog hands moving. After several days, the hands move up to the 12 o'clock position and it essentially goes into a sleep state. As soon as it is exposed to ample light, it wakes up and starts keeping time again. As a result, when I received the watch, it was fully charged despite not being exposed to light for months. Note that you can also turn off powersave mode.
I live on the East coast in a house with tons of tall trees all around it. Even in this setting, I have found a few good locations in my house for syncing up to the time server in Colorado. The watch dealt with daylight savings time just fine and keeps good time. The stop watch and countdown timer are easy to use
Minor quibble: I wish the hands were glow-in-the-dark along their entire lengths instead of only at the tips. (That Watch With The Shimmering Ruby Red Dial) 『The face of this watch is very striking with the Ruby red enamel and sunray dial shimmering with every movement as I look at it through the anti-reflective mineral crystal. It also has a powerful magnifier that makes it very easy to read the date. Invicta calls the crystal Flame Fusion(tm), saying they take a regular mineral crystal, coat it with sapphire and then fuse the two together with flame giving it the scratch resistance of sapphire and the shatter resistance of a mineral crystal. This causes some people to fall down and comence to ROFL, while others will swear it's true and threaten to come find you and then beat you about the head and shoulders for even questioning it. I guess everyone drinks their own kind of Kool-Aid. Me? I paid $49.99 for a great watch and don't really care what the crystal is called as just long as it meets certain standards and this one does. Although... if it had an AR coated sapphire crystal with a slight dome - that would be cool.
The case is 43mm, not including the crown. It doesn't have a screw down crown but Invicta says it's water proof to 200 meters. The bracelet is 20mm wide at the lugs and tapers to 18mm at the clasp, the links are 4mm thick solid stainless steel held together with pins and the whole thing is very generously sized. Okay that's an understatement, I've never seen such a large bracelet, this thing would fit King Kong! But it has plenty of removable links for adjustment so it will fit smaller wrists as well.
It has the TMI (Time Module Ltd.) NH25A Made in Japan movement. Basically a clone of the Seiko 7S25A. No hand winding, but automatic (Seiko Magic Fingers) winding in both directions gives it an excellent power reserve. I set mine and wore it for about four hours then put it away for the night, in the morning it was still running. It doesn't hack but if you move the crown slightly anticlockwise the second hand will stop or even move backward for four or five seconds, so setting it to the exact time is fairly easy and as mine gains just 8 seconds a day I only feel a need to reset it every few days. Stunning good looks, low maintenance, a quality bracelet and a reliable movement for not much money make the Invicta 6015 hard to beat in the bang-for-the-buck competition. If you buy one you won't regret it.』

The finish is very nice, and the quality seems very good, in line with the other 2 Invicta watches that I own. Some have complained about the lack of hand winding and a hack for this watch, but I have not been bothered by it. My one complaint is the lack of the Invicta logo on the side and crown, some would say that is a bonus, but I kinda like those myself. I got this model as a deal of the week for 49.99, and I think it is worth every penny and then some.』
(Nice looking Invicta) 『Great looking watch that is definitely bigger than my Invicta 8926 and its clones. The writeup does say that this watch has a Japanese automatic movement and it does. It's apparently a clone of a Seiko movement manufactured for Invicta by a Chinese company. Not a bad thing, but I thought I was getting Invicta's Citizen Miyota automatic movement which it uses in many of it's other watches.
If there is negative regarding this model, it's that the crown doesn't screw down like my other Invictas (guessing that this is a feature of the movement). Sort of makes me wonder how effective it would really be in sealing out sea water down to the advertised depth. Screw down crowns are generally a standard feature in a good dive watch. Other minor irritation is that you cannot wind this watch on initial startup. You've got to shake it a bit to get it going.
All in, this is a good looking watch with what I hope will prove to be a reliable automatic movement. I'm knocking off a star due to the two factors above. (Exceptional BED!) 『Yes, a BED. Unlike the Aerobed, the flocked topping on this bed has a patterned surface, much like a standard mattress. On the Aerobed, you could always feel those ridges. Those ridges were the reason for me moving to this Intex bed. Two of the seams recently came free on the bottom of the bed, and made the bed sit very high on one side. Guests rolling out of bed, weren't too happy!
I haven't yet slept on this bed, but have had guests sleep on it. They say that it is exceptionally comfortable, and feels like sleeping on a bed.
Our queen sized sheets fit this bed perfectly. I'm not quite sure what people mean by this not being a queen sized bed??
There were a couple items that made me drop this down to a 4 star rating. The inflation time for this bed is 3.5 minutes as per the front of the package. And it takes at least that amount of time. However, unlike the Aerobed, you turn on the inflator and don't have to hold down a button.
The next item that I was more displeased with is the deflation technique. The Aerobed has a great big valve that you just open and the air dumps out of the bed. The Intex bed has a rotating valve that releases the air through a roughly 3/4" opening. The ~2.5" opening on the Aerobed dumps the air. It took me at least 5 minutes to empty the Intex of air, not including the time to get it back into the bag.』

After almost 3 months of great every-night use, the bed has started to leak. The first time I inflated it I did so as suggested, most of the way, let sit for a couple hours, then finish inflation. The most weight I ever had on this thing was about 280 pounds (145 pounds of me, 125 pounds of girlfriend, 10 pounds of covers), which is well under the 600 pound limit. I never jumped on or flopped down hard on the bed. Thus this is a defective product and despite the numerous pros I have no choice but to give it a 1 star rating because the bed is no longer functional. Is it really that difficult to make a bed with higher quality materials and reinforced seams? Unlikely i will buy from Intex again.』
