(Wild, erotic, and crazy fun ride.)
(The Good. The Bad. The Sex.)
(Very unusual and hot!)
(It was funny but the rest of series is really bad.) I loved the book and bought the other titles to read. The minute the book starts you get drawn in to both characters and their families it was truly a great experience reading this book as it is my first time reading this author.
PS: very entertaining sex in this book (i think personally)
PSS: D.R.I.P (don't read in public) trust me The males are ultra-alpha and obsessively in love with their one true mate. The females are smart, independent and likeable. Unbelievably crazy sex almost nonstop throughout the book. Very well done erotica.
Story brief: Zor is king of the planet Tryston. He comes to earth to find his one Sacred Mate who is Kyra, a tax accountant. He takes her to his planet to become his wife. She must wear see through clothes in public and must always be naked when alone with Zor or his brother Kil. The author is amazingly creative with all the lusty crazy sexual habits on the planet Tryston.
Sexual language: erotic. Number of sex scenes: at least 44, plus descriptions of sexual customs, of which I'm not sure how to count. Setting: current day earth which is 6023 YY (Yessat Years) on planet Tryston. Copyright: 2002. Genre: erotic paranormal science fiction romance.
This was the first book written by Jaid Black in the Trek Mi Q'an series. Trek Mi Q'an is a galaxy with many planets. She writes stories taking place on different planets and moons there. This book should be read first, which provides a good introduction to the series. If possible, I suggest reading all of them in order. Several stories begin in some books and are continued in subsequent books. The titles are listed in order below. Some are shorter stories included in the anthologies listed in parentheses. Books 6 through 9 had not been published when I bought the books so they may have different titles.
1 The Empress' New Clothes 1.5 Seized 2 No Mercy 3 Enslaved 4 No Escape (Conquest) 5 No Fear (Conquest) 5.5 Dementia (Lost In Trek) - Guide To Trek Mi Q'an (Lost In Trek) 6 No Way Out: Jana 7 No Way Out: Dari 8 No Way Out: Kari 9 No Way Out: Armageddon
Related Short Stories: - Naughty Nancy (Strictly Taboo) - Devilish Dot (Manaconda) - Never a Slave (Lost In Trek) THE GOOD: Very unusual, creative sex scenes (this should probably go under the SEX category below, but it's the stand-out feature of this book, so I put it here). Though Zor and the other guys are wonderful alpha males, there's an undercurrent of feminism here that I liked. The women stand up to the men when they're out of line. The men protect the women and their brows knit in baffled consternation when women don't always see their way of thinking. There's humor and witty repartee, too. Favorite scene: When modern-day woman Kyra is kidnapped by her lifemate Zor and taken to his world.
THE BAD: Not as carefully edited as it could be and the flow could have been more fluid, but this didn't detract from my enjoyment of the book. The old cover I have isn't the greatest, but this newer cover now is nice.
THE SEX: (See THE GOOD section above.) Sex scenes are sometimes humorous and always riveting and enjoyable. The main characters bond through an artifact and they stay monogamous. There is a bit of non-monogamous sensuality. Favorite sex scene: Too many to list.
THE DECISION: A big thumbs up!
I liked that the female characters were strong. There's humor and witty repartee. And the sex is extremely hot, but not porn. It's unusual to say the least. This book held my interest bigtime and I'm looking forward to more of Jaid Black's books.
Well done! I'm usually a romance reader - and I purchase many of them in ebook format. I came across Ellora's Cave and Samhain Publishing. I was feeling adventurous and decided to buy a few just to test the waters. A few of the Samhains were winners - like Shelly Laurenston's The Distressing Damsel. But I was pretty much disappointed by the stuff from Ellora's Cave. I bought this book, The Empress' New Clothes, and although I was shocked by some of the scenes - it's erotica, what do you expect? I found the book to be really funny. The world that Ms. Black created was different, to say the least. It went a little too far with the chauvinism in my opinion but it reads like the fantasy of a female who is strong but who secretly wants a stronger man to keep her in line - you know, erotic fantasy. Like an x-rated Barbarella. I can just imagine a young Jane Fonda or Jamie Lee Curtis playing the lead.
What disappointed me about the stuff from Ellora's Cave wasn't this book in particular. It did what it set out to do - titillate and entertain - that's why I gave it 3 stars. It was so outrageous and unbelievable that I was laughing till the tears came. I figured - okay, it's not Judith McNaught but it's funny - so I bought the next 3 books in the series in a lump. This is where the disappoinment comes in.
The rest of the series gives the impression that Ms. Black actually had a male ghost writer do the next installments and she just signed her name to them. First of all, they are really short and they are NOT female fantasy. They read like what a man thinks that a woman really fantasizes about but are actually degrading and disgusting to womanhood. It's as if the writer thinks that women really are animalistic inside and secretly want/need to be degraded - and would enjoy it. No woman in her right mind would find any of that appealing. A psychologist could have a field day analyzing the implications of this tendency towards bondage and degradation in fantasy. If that's what the "erotica" genre is like then I'll stick to romance and they can keep it.
So, in conclusion, TENC is funny. If you don't mind reading a whole lot of graphic sex and just want some light entertainment - then go for it. But stop there. Resist the series mentality that we have all developed. Don't even try to follow up on the stories of the other characters. Just laugh it off and let it go. Book 1 in the series Trek Mi Q'an Modern day Earth woman Kyra Summers is kidnapped and wed by a seven-foot tall, thickly muscled warrior claiming to be her Sacred Mate. Life on his home planet Tryston takes some getting used to, as the laws of the world cater to erotic hedonism and leave females at the sexual subjugation of the barbarians who claim them. No one said love with an alien would come easily. Enjoy Kyra's spicy escapades as she adjusts to life and love in another dimension. (WORTH EVERY PENNY)
(Allison - you're off the hook!)
(OK) Allison Hobbs has done it again giving us another roller caoster ride. i have read everything she puts out! i look forward to reading her new books.
thanks Allison! Two women. Two hearts. Two different economic levels. Two different outcomes and one man. Author Allison Hobbs has written a drama-filled book that answers the question, can love sustain all struggles, pain and problems? In THE CLIMAX, Hobbs captures the emotions, and real-life pain of a young woman suffering from the loss of a love so great she went inside herself. She was left lying emotionless in a nursing home, comatose from an emotional breakdown.
Hobbs has written a thrilling story of what happens when seduction and revenge meet. Kia Montgomery, an oversexed, manipulative, revengeful lover, sulking behind prison walls, was accused of killing Marquise, the best sex partner she ever had. As she sat in prison convicted of murder, she wanted one thing -- revenge.
Terelle Chambers lay in a catatonic state for two years until one day someone kissed her, awakening her slowly. She believed that Marquise, the love of her life, was still alive and it was his kiss that brought her back amongst the living. Holding onto that hope, she fought to recover through extensive rehabilitation to reunite with him and her daughter.
Is Marquise dead? Did Kia or Terelle kill him? Hobbs has created a fast-paced, well-written and descriptive, drama and sex-filled novel that takes you on an emotional roller coaster with no seatbelts. This story of a love so strong that it encompasses all reasoning is a must read. Although this is my first read by this author, it certainly won't be the last.
Reviewed by RM Jackson for The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers What a great sequel to Insatiable. I literally could not put this book down. That Kai was something else - crazy as hell and I was so happy with the ending. Hobbs never disappoints. Keep up the good work!!! I read "Insatiable" a few years ago and knew there had to be a sequel; well, to my surprise, Ms. Hobbs did not disappoint! "The Climax" was off the hook! I'm waiting for the movie. Kai got just what she deserved. This book was truly a page turner, with a whole lot of twists and turns; I couldn't believe some of the things Kai did or got into. Terelle and Saleema showed you what true friends will do for one another and Terelle and Quise showed you how true love won't let you down. Keep on doing your thing, Ms. Hobbs. Kai is in prison, and Terelle suffered from a mental breakdown after losing her fiancé. After two years of catatonia, Terelle is awakened by a sweet and mysterious kiss, and the voice of her lost love. As Terelle recovers, she clings to the idea that Marquise (who is the father of her child) is still alive and out there, waiting to reunite with her. She goes into grueling rehabilitation in order to find a way back to him, all the while enduring the concern of loved ones, who think she is delusional. At the same time, Kai is jailed for a murder she didn't commit, but that doesn't stop her wanton behavior. Not a day goes by that Kai doesn't plot a wicked revenge on Terelle. (Two Hot Detectives)
(The Assignment)
(WOW, What A Story) Other reviewers have already given good synopses of this book. The two main characters are credible, admirable men, believable cops, dedicated to their jobs and to each other as best friends and partners in the office. They have been partners for a number of years and they each believe themselves and their partner to be straight. Then they are sent undercover to a gay resort to ferret out a dangerous criminal, where they are forced to "prove" that they are gay to avoid being hurt or killed by the criminal and his cohorts. That leads to enormous conflict between the two and I was not sure how or even whether that conflict would be resolved until the very end of the novel. The plot kept my attention, being both a romance novel and a mystery. The erotic parts were icing, not the focus of the book, and that's fine with me. If you are looking for a good story rather than erotica with a thin plot, then this book is well worth a look. I gladly assigned it five stars, though I may be a bit too high in my estimation. Enjoy. Detectives Sean O'Brian and Nick Valenti have been partners for years. Affectionately dubbed "the Mick and the Spick" by their forward-thinking fellow officers, they are often teased for their close relationship. Just how close they are will be put to the test by a new assignment - undercover in a gay resort to catch a drug dealer. The only problem is that Valenti has been hiding a new desire for his friend, but he's sure O'Brian is straight. Isn't he?
This is a gay romance so it's no surprise that these two become a couple. And their assignment doesn't have much mystery either, though it is pivotal to the romance. What this novel does have is a fabulous dance between the two men. O'Brian really throws himself into the role of "boy toy" and Valenti convinces himself that Sean's just a good actor. Since the story is told from Valenti's point of view, the reader only sees Sean's actions through his partner's eyes. The men constantly misunderstand each other's intentions and the pent up sexual frustration becomes palpable. Yum! What made the situation especially page turning is that it's realistic. Generally, men do not communicate their feelings (about much of anything, let alone this) to each other the way women do (gay, straight, doesn't matter). The author builds the tension so well that when it finally breaks, the scene is explosive. The dance and the assignment reach their peak at the same time. And the explicit sex is very satisfying. The resolution to the case was predictable, but not in a bad way. They're after a drug dealer; in most mysteries the cops get their bad guy. Same here, readers just know who he is from the get go. The assignment is important in how it forces the guys to make their pretense believable, and engage in kissing and groping that both of them want to be real. What fun!
The book also includes a bonus short story that takes place a year later. Insecurity doesn't simply go away after the men admit their feelings. Communication is still necessary, and still difficult, for our couple. Valenti is under mandatory desk duty after a justified shooting. And O'Brian is assigned a temporary partner. A young, good-looking temporary partner. When Sean handcuffs Nick to their bed to learn what's eating him...no I won't go there. That pun is way too easy, but you get the idea.
Overall this was an excellent, if somewhat short, romance. Though the characters aren't given much background, they come alive with the promise of more "assignments" for these two detectives. Families are hinted at, and could easily take center stage in another book. I can't wait to read more. And I love the sexy cover art!
Valenti and his partner O'Brian, are working undercover at a gay resort hoping to bust a drug supplier named Vincent Conrad. They have been partners and best friends for a long time. Valenti is attracted to O'Brian and he has no idea what to do about it. These feelings he has for his partner are new, but undeniable. Hiding his desire is getting more and more difficult, especially because part of posing as a gay couple means they have to touch each other.
O'Brian is willing to act his part wholeheartedly and Valenti accepts it because he wants his partner so much he's willing to take whatever he can get. But when touching turns to passionate kisses and more intimate touches, Valenti finds his heart breaking because his partner seems to be just acting while he is expressing his true feelings.
When their cover is blown and the partners are forced to act out Conrad's wishes, Valenti fears that his relationship with O'Brian will finally be over. But when the dust settles Valenti discovers that he might be wrong about how O'Brian feels about him. He might have a future with the man he loves.
The Assignment is a story with many heartfelt and deeply passionate moments. The angst and longing that Valenti feels is heartbreaking at times and the acceptance that O'Brian shows him is sincere and tender. Valenti and O'Brian's passion is scorching! I was craving them by the end. The Assignment is sexy and emotional, leaving me panting for more!
Nannette reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed Detectives Sean O'Brien and Nicholas Valenti have been partners and best friends for six years. They are total opposites in demeanour and looks - Valenti who is from a wealthy Italian family is tall, dark and repressed and O'Brien who is small statured, blond and good looking is very much the product of his outgoing, affectionate large Irish family. They have supported and depended on each other through Valenti's divorce and other disasters while on or off duty and each knows that the other would take a bullet for him in a heartbeat.
Their latest assignment is to go undercover at the RamJack, a gay resort, posing as two gay men to catch a drug kingpin who is flooding the gay bars in the city with poison cocaine. While at the resort Valenti would be the `sugar daddy' and O'Brien his `boy' a designation that Detective O'Brien abhors, and he complains bitterly that he is being type cast. Nick has his own reasons for not wanting the assignment. Lately he has been seeing his best friend in a totally different light and he is becoming strangely attracted to him in a sexual way and when Sean suffered a near-fatal injury in the line of duty several months ago he realized he was in love with him. Nick knows it will be extremely difficult to hide his feelings from Sean while they are undercover, sleeping in the same bedroom and pretending to everyone that they are a couple.
The assignment proves to be even more difficult than Nick anticipated as Sean proceeds to make his life miserable by touching him whenever possible in public and even in private under the guise of practising their role so that they would appear to be a genuine couple when they meet their 'host'. In the middle of the danger all around them Sean seems to take a great deal of pleasure in tormenting Nick and upping the ante to get a rise out of him.
Their undercover assignment brings out feelings in Nick and Sean that they have kept buried and they can no longer hide their love for each other. Since they are both straight, this is a quandary that neither has any idea how to resolve and there is the added dimension of their job where being gay detectives is not something that is acceptable. The tension and the drama of the final take-down plays out very publicly and Nick and Sean are left to deal with the outcome and emotions they never anticipated having for each other.
THE ASSIGNMENT continues to be one of my favourite all time stories. It has everything - two great looking charismatic characters, heightened emotions which added to the suspense, danger, a terrific story with excellent dialogue, wonderful pacing and a plot that held my interest until the very end. The first time I read this book eighteen months ago I loved the story and fell in love with the characters who were genuine and three dimensional. The two protagonists blew my mind; not only were they very much in love with each other, they genuinely liked and were sensitive to each other's needs even before they had sex which was so hot it seared the pages. Sean and Nick did not start out as gay characters in the book but as long-time partners who were friends and this history made the love and sex between them seem even more authentic and believable. The sex scenes were tender, funny and affectionate and I thought that Sean O'Brien was so well drawn he could walk off the pages of the book and into real life; Nick Valenti was no slouch either.
I have no hesitation giving this book 5 stars and two thumbs up.
In I'LL BE HOT FOR CHRISTMAS, the LooseID stocking stuffer included in the book, it's been year after the RamJack where they first confessed their feelings for each other and Detectives Valenti and O'Brian have been sharing an exclusive and white-hot relationship, when Valenti suddenly pulls away.
Sean is understandably upset because it has been more than a month since he and Nick have seen any action under the sheets or anywhere else for that matter and he is determined to find out why he is getting the cold shoulder especially just before Christmas! Since Nick's involvement in a recent shooting incident he has been placed on administrative leave until cleared by Internal Affairs and he has changed, but not for the better. He can't wait for Nick to be back on duty and his partner once more, in the ways that really matter. The last straw for Sean is Nick being assigned to a charity event by the Commissioner on the anniversary of their RamJack bust.
Sean comes up with a seemingly brilliant plan that would ensure he has Nick's undivided attention. His plan involves handcuffs and Nick's body at his disposal and he is determined to make him disclose what's bugging him this time so that they can get on with the business of loving each other.
I'LL BE HOT FOR CHRISTMAS is a great follow up to THE ASSIGNMENT and the story demonstrates why fans are so hot for Sean and Nick who seem to get into situations where misunderstandings blow everything out of proportion and affect their relationship in a negative way. But Sean is not one to let anything screw up what he and Nick have together.
This story is yet another great piece of writing by Evangeline Anderson and will be of interest to new readers and fans alike.
The Assignment
Detective Nicholas Valenti, tall, dark and stoic, has been best friends with his partner, Sean O'Brian for six years. The two men have seen each other through divorce, disaster, and danger, and saved each other's asses more times than Valenti can count. Exactly when he started seeing his blond, intense partner in another light, Valenti isn't really sure. He only knows that he wants O'Brian in a way that had nothing to do with friendship and everything to do with possession. It is a desire he will have to hide forever because O'Brian is undeniably straight.
Just as Valenti is coming to grips with his new, unacceptable feelings for his partner their police captain puts them on a new case that could blow Valenti's cover once and for all. He and O'Brian are going undercover at the country's largest and most infamous gay resort to bust a notorious drug lord and stop the shipments of poison cocaine that are flooding the gay bars all over the city.
Now Valenti will have to make a choice between friendship and desire. He and O'Brian will play the roles of gay men that will push the limits of their relationship to the breaking point. Will their time at the RamJack forge a new bond between them or destroy their partnership forever?
I'll Be Hot for Christmas,a Loose Id Stocking Stuffer featuring Valenti and O'Brian, heroes fromThe Assignment
It's a year after their assignment at the RamJack where they first confessed their feelings for each other. Valenti and O'Brian have been sharing an exclusive and white-hot relationship when Valenti suddenly pulls away. (fun second chance at love sports romance)
(Game for Anything)
(A hit!) The characters in GAME FOR ANYTHING are so very likable, and while the premise is nothing new - high school jock takes virginity of beautiful brainiac, crushes her fragile heart, the two are later reacquainted and she vows revenge - I'm pretty sure it hasn't been done this well. These characters each have issues and emotional baggage, the extent of which the other is unaware of. I highly recommend this book, especially if you enjoy romance with sports figures. There isn't an overwhelming amount of football or locker room talk - just enough to bring the story to life - so don't be put off by the football subject if football isn't your thing.
NFL superstar San Francisco Outlaws quarterback Ty Calhoun won the Super Bowl on the last play with an incredible run. While the accolades pour in especially for his amazing final play, public relations specialist Julie Spencer watched the game and its final play on TV and expected Ty to score the winning points. She never forgot his scoring with her when he took her virginity and heart without a look back ten years ago.
Behind his impish demeanor, Ty hides the fact he never forgot that high school graduation night that shook him to the core and made him flee like a coward. Now he would give away every trophy and his throwing arm for one more night of uninhibited sex with Julie; even the thought makes him hard.
The new owner of the San Francisco Outlaws believes professional athletes are role models and wants them to behave accordingly in public. For his star quarterback that means a PR remake starting with nuking his current image. Julie, known for her spin skills, is hired to the delight of Ty. Whereas she tries to avoid his efforts to sack her, she knows even mentally thinking about his touch leaves her feeling tackled; he has a game plan to win back her heart starting with her trust as he has a chance to make up the one errant pass of his life by blitzkrieging her heart.
Even no football fans will appreciate this fun second chance at love sports romance as the two stars are likable characters. Ty knows he must gain his beloved's trust which is off the board for taking bets as he has to overcome his desertion and ignoring her afterward. Fans will appreciate this fun lighthearted romp with the only quibble being a team named the Outlaws probably belongs in Oakland (at least at one time that is).
Julie Spencer was an image consultant at the top of her game. She thought nothing could shake her until she found herself face to face with the boy who had broken her heart in high school, and taken her virginity. Ty Calhoun was one of the world's greatest quarterbacks in fact he just recently scored the winning touchdown in the super bowl. While he was a great athlete, his public reputation was abysmal. He was a bad boy, and the new owner of his football team didn't want any public relations nightmares like Ty, so he was forced to meet with the new image consultant they hired. Ty couldn't have been more surprised or pleased that his meeting was with none other than Julie. He had regretted his treatment of her his whole adult life, and dreamed of being with her again.
Julie's first instinct was to turn down this particular client, but when Ty threw a veiled challenge in her direction, she couldn't turn away. He had to be close to her. Now that he knew where she was, and had the opportunity, he was not going to let it pass him by. Ty was supposed to be acting like a choirboy, but if his plans worked as expected, he would be getting a lot closer to Julie. When the team owner saw the new photos of Ty in the morning paper, he was spitting mad, and summoned them to his office. After a comeuppance, Ty found himself with a new temporary home - Julie's home! He had to stay with her for the next couple of weeks where she was responsible for his every action. She was supposed to keep him out of trouble.
Ty wanted Julie. He wanted her in his bed most definitely, but more than that he wanted her in his life, and he also wanted her forgiveness for being a stupid kid so many years ago. He didn't want to scare her away, so he decided that going slow was the ticket. After spending only a few days together when they could stand it no longer, they gave into the passion sparking between them. Things were looking up, and Ty just hoped they could overcome all their obstacles to be together in the "real" world.
Ty and Julie are a very appealing couple. Their history adds a rich element to the story. Both are only coasting through life until they cross each other's path again. When they come together this becomes apparent to them both. He leads a shallow existence living his life as others expect him to while trying to forget his humble beginnings, and alcoholic father. She was raised in the lap of luxury, but is trying to live her life without relying on her family's wealth. Her family embarrasses her as her mother is an alcoholic, and her father is a womanizer. Can these two broken people heal each other, and find common ground to build a life on? They both learn a hard lesson that appearances are deceiving. Ty Calhoun is on top of the world. As the star quarterback for the Outlaws, he already has women swarming all over him. Now he has won the Super Bowl... but he can't seem to forget that one girl from high school, the only one to not be impressed by his athletic ability. Meanwhile, his team has a new owner, one who wants Ty reformed and is willing to do anything it takes. Anything, including hiring an image consultant! Ty is horrified until he learns the image consultant is Julie Spencer, the girl he hasn't been able to forget. Can Ty convince Julie that he's the man for her?
Bella Andre writes a fun, sensual book about finding both lost love and one's own self. Neither Ty nor Julie has forgotten each other but misunderstandings have kept them apart. Their story is both bittersweet and steamy, as neither can resist the other.
Bella Andre puts a fascinating spin on image and just how deceiving appearances can be! It's hard not to fall in love with Ty and Julie as they both struggle so hard with the misperceptions they both have about each other's lives. On the surface, Julie is extremely straight laced while Ty is a pure playboy. But does the outside image really tell the full story?
GAME FOR ANYTHING is the first book I've ever read by Bella Andre but I certainly hope it will not be the last featuring the Outlaws. Several secondary characters simply screamed for their own story, particularly Dominic. And who can't help but love little Jack and want to see how things turn out for him? Bella Andre has written the sort of story that draws you in and makes you want to see more of the characters. GAME FOR ANYTHING is a hit!
COURTESY OF CK2S KWIPS AND KRITIQUES He's the Super Bowl hero men idolize and women lust after...the bad-boy quarterback with a dangerous edge. But behind his devil-may-care grin, Ty Calhoun hides a desire that only one woman can ever fulfill -- and a memory he can't shake: high school graduation night...and mind-blowing sex with the untouchable girl of his dreams. He would trade every trophy to feel the heat of her sensual, uninhibited lust once more. And he may get that chance...because she's just been hired by the San Francisco Outlaws' new owner to make over Ty's less-than-angelic reputation. The country's top image consultant, Julie Spencer is a total pro at cleaning up the messes of the rich and famous. Even working with the man who took her virginity and broke her heart ten years ago can't rattle her. Until he touches her again. One caress -- and one very hot kiss -- is all it takes to spark the same knee-quaking electricity, and soon they're mixing business and extreme pleasure. But knowing the danger this bad boy poses to her heart, Julie is determined to keep her distance. But Ty has a game plan of his own. The more he misbehaves, the more Julie will have to keep tabs on him -- and the more he can give his dream girl some very real thrills, by showing her just how fun it is to be bad. (I want more!) Bianca is another of my favorite authors. She writes excitingromances and they have wonderful plots as well. She makes her readers feel like they are right there in the pages.I am an avid reader of here books and own everyone she has ever written and plan to buy them all as she writes them. My favorite genre is probably the futuristic romance. So I was pretty excited to find this one while searching on Amazon. I really enjoyed reading it. It was a fast, easy read and that is not always easy to write. I think it is the perfect book summer book to relax and take a break with. I will probaly buy the next book in the series because it was so enjoyable. The only reason I don't give more solid marks is because I only give 5 stars to books that: really suprise me, get my heart rate racing while I read the book or I get BIG emotional response from. This is a solid futuristic that is well-written and packs some serious heat. Once again, Bianca D'Arc has written very compelling stories about brothers who are so hot, yoou will definitely need a fan just to keep cooled off. I loved both of these stories and anxiously await word from the author that she will continue this series. I do have to say, I have not read a Bianca D'Arc book that I haven't loved so far. The Sons of Amber is a very hottt book. Zeke and Mike are two of the hottest heroes I have ever read about...and I read ALOT! The outline at the top does a very good job of describing the stories. Not much to add to that except that it doesn't mention that in each story the hero shares a brief menage with his woman of choice and one of his brothers. Very hot but tastefully done. My only hope is that there are more stories to come about the other Brothers...Tyron needs to find a good woman ! Wonderful book and a definite MUST buy for any Bianca D'Arc fans!! Ezekiel is a Son of Amber, a male genetically engineered to help save humanity from extinction after a bio weapon launched by their enemy kills most human males. When Zeke crash lands on an uncharted world, he is rescued by an angel who nurses him back to health. Zeke quickly realizes the secret community located beneath the surface of this inhospitable planet is the only known uninfected colony of humans in the galaxy. He must protect them. Likewise, he must protect Angela - his angel - the one woman he wants like no other in the universe. He needs her with an urgency he has never before known. He needs her love and her passion, for the rest of his life. But the enemy stalks them. Zeke must find a way to protect his mate and her people. Humanity is rallying and he suspects this small group of uninfected humans will be the key - along with the Sons - to rebuilding the human race. Michael is a Dominant Son of Amber, commandant of the human fighting forces and in charge of Atlantia Station. When he learns a smuggling ring is kidnapping human women and transporting them to the jit'suku galaxy, he goes undercover with his executive officer to uncover the rats in their own kitchen. But playing the role of submissive female is something Leah, his competant XO, isn't sure she can do. Michael proves to her she not only can, but will enjoy the Dominant games he plays so well for benefit of the smugglers they must convince. Rerations < Sons of Amber >
