(Good, not great.)
(A Great Shot Gun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) O M G. This thing is great! Can I give it six stars? I can't? Forget it! SIX FREAKING STARS!
All the problems with the other gun shells have been fixed. Laser pointer eliminates the need to give you an aiming reticule. Size allows a good aim and the leverage to avoid jerking while pulling the trigger. Weight is good and convincing. Balance is beautiful. Don't know how long these are going to stay in stock; I plan to buy a few as Xmas presents.
HOTD + This Toy = Good Times I have ordered two of these guns and they are both missing the #2 piece. The gun is all over the screen. If you hold it upside down it works better. I am wondering does everyone else have the number 2 piece? cool guns couldnt find them anywhere accept amazon. good price, fast shipping lots of fun Has a heavy solid feel to it and the trigger is a bit stiff out of the box. I found that if you open the gun up and add lubricant to the area that allows parts to slide more freely, you can make the trigger a little smoother. Without these modifications, it become tiring and a chore to play light gun games. The product itself however is built pretty well aside from the stiff trigger issues. Look no further for a Wii shot gun it's a lot easier and satisfying to play shooting games with this shot gun. The quality of this particular shotgun is top notch probably the best on the market. Very much like being at the arcade. I hope more light gun games come out for the Wii because this thing makes the it feel like a true arcade experience. The gun makes shooting games much more involving and realistic than playing with just the remote. This is a great accessory. I bought this shotgun for myself and my girl friend is freaking out. She just doesn't want to stop playing with my gun. Rerations < Wii Shot Gun >

My 4 year old son has already mastered all of the I Spy PC games and books and apparently they have stopped making new titles in either so we were hungry for anything new in I Spy. We got a Wii not too long ago and when we saw this we just had to get it.
The images are 3D and very realistic; you rotate your way around and through them to find the items. (one example is an aquarium that you 'swim' through) The images are very detailed and some of the items are very small so if you don't have a super steady hand it can get frustrating but I think it will get better for him with time. Also, my son sits in a bar stool type chair to play this because the 'mouse' kept getting stuck because of his height. This has never been a problem with any of the other games but with this one, he seems to need a boost.
Usually in each image there are 2 or 3 interactive items (out of about 6 or 8) that you find and interact with. (i.e. a paper heart that you cut out using the remote, a paper airplane that you fly and steer) These are actually quite tricky and take a couple of tries to get them right. This is great for paying attention to instruction as well as great hand/eye coordination.
All in all very fun (for everyone) and a MUST for any I-Spy fan! Ultimate I Spy combines seek-and-find gameplay with the unique capabilities of the Wii gaming system. It is great for kids 7-10 and perfect for family play. I Spy is a multi player game with over 20 hours of gameplay and includes 40 I spy riddles in 10 unique environments. With its 3D immersive environment and scavenger hunts, you can link up with your friends to enjoy all the action in each game.

(Work as promised)
(Does what it says...)
(Less sound = less sensitivity)
(These work great!) I have the newer SL RockBand drums and installed these pads by removing the rims as suggested by another reviewer. When looking at the drums from the side now, they look a bit strange because the rims hide some internals, but when you're using the drums they look great. These pads work very well to dampen the sound and I noticed no loss in sensitivity. I can tap lightly on each drum and still register a hit. These pads are well worth the money for the first generation drums. I read the reviews which mention potential problems and got them anyway. I was concerned they wouldn't stick well when I first installed. The drums have a raised edge and the pads are essentially just thick stickers. Because of the raised edge on the drum, and the size of the pads extends all the way to the outside edge, there is a small air bubble that goes all the way around the edge. I was worried this would mean the pads would come unglued. But after we've used them for weeks, they've remain glued on just fine and worked well. Using the drums with silencers is a huge improvement. The sound of striking the pad is significantly muffled, which allows you to actually hear the drum sounds coming out of the speakers. The pads look great as well. I recommend you buy these, you'll be happy.
These little gizmos dramatically improve the sound and "feel" of the Rock Band drum set. With them, you can feel free to go crazy on the drums without drowning out everyone else with that hollow "coconut shell" sound the unsilenced drums make. And in the end, isn't going crazy on the drums what it's all about?
The one flaw of these guys is that is that it appears that they don't fit equally well on all drum sets. Certainly on mine, the pads don't fit nicely inside the plastic ring around the drum, or even inside the outer bezel on that ring - they're just about the same size as the plastic ring which means that the pads don't sit flat on the drums at the edges. I haven't found this to be a problem particularly, but it may mean that hits at the edges of the drums don't register as well as they could. Elsewhere, you can find instructions for removing the plastic ring before attaching the pads. I decided not to do this out of fear of breaking something, but your mileage may vary. From reading other comments online it seems that they do fit better on some versions of the drum set. If you're looking for a cheap solution to the loud tappy taps on your Rock Band drum set then these pads are a decent solution. Be prepared to hit the drums a little harder though, these things definitely remove about 20% sensitivity. The drum silencers are very nice. They make your drums look better and they reduce the banging sound down by half. Super easy to put them on. So easy they didn't come with instructions, but pull the tape off the back and stick them. (Breaks a Sweat!)
(Great game for kids) Little League World Series Baseball '08 This is a all star selection! As a Mom i love this game because it is not filled with "that video noise" that makes you crazy after a few minutes and it is a game that more than one person can play at different ages and have fun. It is a great game for Father and Son to share and still have a fun time. They seem to love it and would play it every day without it becoming boring. I bought this as a goldbox buy (always a plus) for my son's 10th birthday. He is thoroughly enjoying it. My other kids, one 12 and one 7 are also entertained. The graphics and animation are excellent. My son did figure out some of the tricks rather quickly, but he is a gamer and this usually comes easy to him. I would recommend this to other buyers, especially those with children who enjoy baseball. Even the adults have enjoyed playing. Only drawback is the competition that it creates in my living room (which is not new). My 4 year old son has had this game for about 3 weeks now, and absolutely loves it. The controls are very intuitive and he was hitting home runs in no time (I actually had to turn the difficulty up for him!) Also, in my opinion, Activision did not "dumb down" this game for kids---there's lots of nice little touches for adults (in-jokes, beautiful background scenery, etc.). The pitching and fielding is almost certainly too simplistic for a "seasoned" gamer, but again, for kids between the ages of 4 and, I'd say, 13, this game is perfect. Lots of mini-games on here (which are quite fun) and if it's too easy you can certainly turn the difficulty up. Very satisfied with this one. Little League World Series is the perfect game to play with your friends and family. Bat, pitch and field your way from local sandlot slugger to Little League World Series Champion using intuitive controls. Featuring eight U.S. and eight international teams, extraordinarily deep character customization, World Series Mode, and various skill based challenges, Little League World Series offers an exciting, authentic baseball experience. (Great Product)
(Guitar Hero III)
(Guitar Hero) This is the first guitar hero game I have ever played. Great game, plenty of challenge. Just wish it had more music from earlier rock years. I ordered this game for my granddaughter who was turning 10. When I got the box and looked at it I decided that it really seemed inappropriate for her age. The tatooed, pierced singers on the box and the warning - at that point - that the words were sexually explicit were more than I could deal with for a just turning 10 year old. I wish there had been some sort of heads up in the description. I couldn't really say how much fun the game was because I didn't give it to her. I bought this as a birthday gift for a family member. It was delivered in a timely fashion by Amazon with no damage.
The game was easy to assemble and learn to play. I only wish that they would create a Guitar Hero: Van Halen, Def Lepard or Rolling Stones edition. I am sure those are to follow.
I highly recommend it. Very awesome game, loaded with behind the scenes videos and lots of other charactors, giutars, finishes, outfits, and songs to buy. I love this. It was either this or DDR. My girl and i would play this more, because it's fun and a little less active. I'm thinking about getting the Aerosmith version. The third game from the Guitar Hero series is here, and ready to rock your face off. Channel your inner guitar god as you thrash your way through all sorts of venues, In addition to standard Guitar Hero features you know and adore, this game features all kinds of killer new options, such as the new multiplayer action-inspired battle mode, grueling boss battles, a bevy of exclusive unlockable content and authentic rock venues. The expanded online multiplayer game modes will also allow axe-shredders worldwide to compete head-to-head for true legendary rock status. Best of all, check out the new songs! Fresh downloadable content will be offered on multiple platforms, and players can now shred to a set list from many of the greatest rock songs ever recorded. Featured hits include: Rock And Roll All Nite (as made famous by Kiss) School's Out (as made famous by Alice Cooper) Cult of Personality (by Living Colour) Barracuda (as made famous by Heart)This game comes bundled with the all-new wireless Gibson Les Paul guitar controller, available for each platform for the very first time. The exclusive Gibson guitars will include innovative features such as removable faceplates that will allow fans to later personalize their guitars and make it their own, and a new button color design that will be integrated for an even greater authentic feel and rock experience. With Guitar Hero 3, you've got more than a game - it's a one-of-a-kind hard rock experience. (What a joke...)
(I don't get the point of this game)
(a grandfather's review)
(Disappointing Wii Game) the game came in a mannerly time and my son was very excited to get it and plays it alot. very happy with it. Wow, what an utter dud "Pokemon Battle Revolution" is. I cannot stress enough the embarrassment that Nintendo SHOULD feel at the completely lackluster presentation, or the monotonous single player mode. And while it is fun to play online, I can already do that in the Diamond that I own. But anyway, let's begin
The Good: 1) Graphics - it IS fun to see all 493 Pokemon illustrated in this game (or at least 490, although I think Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus are there as well). The 3-D graphics are cute (though hardly spectacular), although they are so similar to the designs in "Pokemon:XD" to warrant exceptional praise. I would have at least hoped that the characters would be more sharp than their GC predecessors. Nonetheless, the Pokemon are colorful.
The Bad: 1) Gameplay - Boring. Monotonous. Ultimately pointless. The one-player game is one of the most painful gameplay experiences I've endured, and I've played "Alundra 2". The fact is, the developers spent about five minutes actually thinking of this game.
2) Voices - Annoying. The announcer says the exact same thing after each attack. Come on, now.
3) In-game extras - OK, I'm happy that I can get a Magmortar and an Electavire (but only after entering a special code - you don't even unlock them through the game), and they even have the correct natures. And yeah, a Pikachu that knows surf is kind of nice (hearkening back to the days of "Pokemon Stadium"), but let's get real. "Pokemon Stadium 2" let me play fun little minigames with my friends, and let me play the DS on the TV. Would that REALLY have been that hard to introduce here? The fact is, this games' extras blow chunks. Seriously. You can beat all of the trainers, and guess what? You get to fight them again! Hooray.
4) Rental pokemon - Are you kidding? In "Stadium," I could rent pretty much ANYONE (including Mew), and similarly for 'Stadium 2". Here? I get one of the WORST starter sets imaginable, and I actually have to win with these losers to get other cards unlocked. The fact is, this game is nigh unplayable without your own copy of "Diamond" or "Pearl". Even then, it stinks, but don't even think of believing that this game can even REMOTELY stand alone.
It should be clear. This game is terrible. I don't know what to do! I go into battles and win them, and so on? What do I win? I get money and can buy things for my trainer? And so what? I don't care if the trainer has a hat...
PROS: -graphics are beautiful
CONS: -hey we have a wii mote to use! why don't they use it? -no story -too easy unless you play it online, but again I don't feel rewarded when I win a game; I bought the game for my grandson and he seemed to have great fun with it. Santa brought this Wii game for Christmas with the hopes that the two Pokemon fanatics in the house would be thoroughly entertained. Thanks Santa, but in this case, it was the thought that counted.
The battles are just like the DS game -- you select one of 4 attacks to perform on your opponent and the game performs the move. You only use the Wii remote to choose the attack -- not to move, not to attack, only to point and click on an attack option. There is not even a vibration or sound that comes from the remote when attacking or being hit by an attack.
We had hopes of battling such that one player could use the DS and the other the Wii. Unfortunately, upon reviewing the instructions in the manual, it appears you must have multiple DS units in order for the DS to be used in battles.
The kids haven't played with Pokemon Battle Revolution much -- they prefer the Pokemon Diamond/Pearl on the DS. Pokémon Battle Revolution features new action and new challenges to face, in an all-new Pokemon world. Welcome to the island of Poketopia! Here, each stadium has its own little quirks, and you'll have to use your strategy skills to make sure you can win the duels. Helping you out along the way is an all-new set of Pokemon you can earn through new quests. It's also the first Wii game to cross over with the Nintendo DS. Connect the Wii to a DS using wireless connections&use the Pokemon you've raised in Diamond and Pearl and Battle 'til you drop! Rerations < Pokemon Battle Revolution >

(Beautiful 2-D Platform Action for Wii)
(Polished game that needs just a bit more length)
(For Casual Gamers who Enjoy Fun 2D Platformers)
(Great Platformer) First of all let me say that I am a 2d game aficionado. I have collections of 2d games that I cherish. This game I had high hopes for, but it is really an adventure game disguised as a platformer. Most platform games do not have you looking for objects in order to open up other levels. I enjoyed the platforming aspects, but I hate that if I finished a level and did not pick up a hidden treasure, I had to go back in the level to find the object. I am still waiting to get a new Super Mario Bros for the Wii. I really enjoyed the one on the DS. It's hard to find a 2D game these days that isn't from the bargain bin or just shoddy. This is how a next gen platformer should look. Nintendo has outdone themselves with the look of Wario. The animation is fluid and top notch, the colors bright and vivid, and backgrounds are wonderfully varied. The music is fantastic, and varies by each level. It sets the mood quite well for each level. The game overall is not extremely difficult to play, with a few tough spots. Wario has unlimited lives but must watch his life gauge. Boss battles are large and entertaining, and there is a good variety of levels. Overall the game is not extremely long, five worlds overall. That's good though, as I think the game would lose its appeal if it was too long. The concept is fun. Play the level and rescue the little creatures, then quickly rush back to the start before the timer hits zero. There's plenty of replay and great challenge for completionists. Finding all the treasures, completing the challenges, and finding hidden levels will keep most busy for quite awhile. A straight playthrough can be finished in a few hours. If you are craving a good action game that is quick and easy to pick up and play, go no further. Wario Land: Shake It! is a game with true style. Hand drawn graphics and constant humor give this title a charm all it's own. While many have remarked on it's bland music, I actually found it to be quite appealing. It fits the game perfectly and even sets the proper mood on certain stages. The Wii Remote controls work as they should and you are never at a loss on how to use them. The only negative thing I can say about this game is that it's rather short. If you don't really care about completing challenges and unlocking soundtracks, then you can finish the game in about 4-5 hours. I'd advise you to at least look for the treasures on each level. They are typically humorous and worth the giggle you will receive. All in all, an excellent game that might have sold a bit better if it were priced at [............]
Wario Land: Shake It! I purchased WarioLand ShakeIt! primarily because I'm a fan of old school 2D platform games. The Nintendo Wii was the first console I've owned since the Super Nintendo. This game harkens back to the days of yore, when games were fun and engaging.
WarioLand ShakeIt! features excellent graphics, catchy soundtrack tunes, and more importantly, engaging playability. The game uses the Wii controller at key points throughout the game. The level of control in using the controller can range from intuitive (shaking coin bags) to downright frustrating (controlling a unicycle). This is part of the challenge of the game. With practice, I expect to have more command over some of the controls.
The game serves as a perfect introduction for people who like casual gaming. There is an introductory level where you can practice techniques to get a feel for the game mechanics.
Each stage of the game includes several missions, which are above and beyond the task of clearing the level. These missions are challenging, and will require multiple replays to clear. That's part of the fun this game has.
I'm working my way through the game methodically - playing each level and trying to complete each mission before moving along. I've had this game for almost 3 weeks now, and it's still as fun and engaging now as it was when I first purchased it.
Advanced gamers may be quick to put this game down (I've heard reviews complain of the game's short length -pegged at 6 hours or so) - but I think there's really more here (especially with the missions) that makes the game a true challenge.
Do I enjoy WarioLand: ShakeIt? Yes, wholeheartedly. Would I buy this game again? Absolutely.
It's nice to see Nintendo every once and a while release a title whose gameplay seems like something off of the great SNES. If you love 2d platformers, this game isn't the best in the world, but it is pretty solid. Great 2d art style combined with challenges that make you want to play the level again and again make this surprisingly deep. TheWario Landseries is where Wario, Nintendo's greedy, uncouth and rude anti-hero first appeared, and now he's back in singleplayer action inWario Land: Shake It. With the Wii Remote controller turned sideways like an old-school controller, veterans and newcomers alike can run, jump and smash their way through hectic side-scrolling stages. Players shake the Wii Remote to help Wario take down his enemies, empty bags of treasure or cause earthquakes.
