(An awesomely fun game)
『This is an awesome video game with great songs and hours of fun gameplay. A great party game, or just for single players. However, I don't understand why people think rock band is better than Guitar Hero. Rock band is a total wannabe game who copied every part of their games from Guitar Hero. People need to get their heads into reality!!!!!!!

Anyway, Awesome Game!!!!!』

(Better than expected)
『Ok, so I debated over getting Band Hero or Lego Rock Band for the Wii, I ended up with Band Hero because of the lack of DLC usage and you cant import with Lego. I was really impressed with he presentation of this game, from the bright scenery to the more than quality setlist. I would say with the execption of a few songs this setlist comes in to a close second to the Guitar Hero 3 setlist. How can you go wrong with songs like Love is a Battlefield, Lips of an Angel, Whip It, Y.M.C.A., Every Rose has a thorn, Paralyzer, When I;m Gone, plus a ton more. I was more than happy to see I didn't have to re-download the imported songs from Smash Hits and World Tour and the World Tour DLC that i had already imported to Guitar Hero 5 (It took a long time to download all of the songs), now i just only have to import the Guitar Hero 5 setlist to Band Hero and vise versa. I was disappointed that some of my favorites from GH5 won't import like Feel Good Inc, Fame, Sex on Fire, Song 2, Play That FUnky Music, and the two Tom Petty Songs. But than again Band Hero imports to GH5 only minus 4 songs, which the only one i wish imported was Mr. Roboto. Plus an added bonus for us Wii users that have a DS, you can now link the DS to the Wii and select songs to be played while in Party Mode. So lets say you have a bunch of people over, all you have to do is hand around the DS and people get to pick their songs and you wont have to interrupt the people that are currently playing. So either people pick the songs they want to hear, or what ever song they would jump in on. Very Very cool. So if you have a Wii/DS this game is a must pick up. (You don't have to have the DS version of Band Hero to use this feature!)

Pros: DS linking for picking play list in Pary Play, Great Setlist full of very well know songs (unlike GH5), Importing and Exporting of songs, great looking game visually.

Cons: Can't export Mr. Roboto to GH5 (this is the reason i gave it 4 out of 5 stars, you don't mess with my Styx!) and a good amount of well known songs from GH5 don't import. They didn't let you Import/Export Band Hero/GH5 on release.』

(Rocking Up For Pop)
『There is no question about the success that games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band have delivered for gamers of all kinds. There are so many gamers who've had the driven need to rock out loud from start to finish. But, with the success of Rock Band: The Beatles doing so well, many gamers have had a reignition from John, Paul, George&Ringo to a whole new era of fans. That has had the need for Guitar Hero gamers to stretch themselves to be more appealing to a whole new audience of fans, especially the young crowd. Well, that has shown with the new Band Hero game. The game that seems to try to seperate itself from the other music games. But, the question is does Band Hero make a staple name for itself, or does it feel like it is a sell out for hard core Guitar Hero fans. Here is the backstage pass answer.

Band Hero for the Nintendo Wii, brings in a more pop-mainstreamed audience into the world of pop music. The game features Adam Levine from Maroon 5 and young singer/songwriter Taylor Swift, who are game players, as you master your way through more pop-filled songs as you jam your way to the top of the heap. The collection of songs range from guilty pleasures like the Jackson 5's ABC, and K.T. Tunstall's Black Horse&Cherry Tree, to more adult contemporary songs like Marvin Gaye's I Heard It Through The Grapevine, and Corrine Bailey Rae's Put Your Records On. The gameplay is just as the same as Guitar Hero&Rock Band have shown. The graphics handle very well, as you see strong images of the players, as well as Taylor&Adam, and the control is just as the same as you've played from the other music games. What makes this game makeup ground to the mix though, is that you can play through you favorite songs from Guitar Hero: World Tour, as an extra for added fun, from whatever you've downloaded from the Wii Shop Channel for Guitar Hero (yet it could've had that option as well for what Guitar Hero 5 has shown in its library.) Otherwise, there isn't really much to seperate itself.

Overall, while Band Hero tries to re-invent what Guitar Hero&Rock Band have shown, it sadly is more of a mixed bag, than what seems to be more appealing for the hard core gamer. If you are looking for a different library of songs to jam to, and you are tired of shredding your way through nothing buut rock music, than this would be a good try. Otherwise, stick with Rock Band: The Beatles, or Guitar Hero: World Tour instead.

(GH still can't quite compete with RB2, but great for parties...)
『We really like most of the GH's games and RB2's games - each for different reasons. I was looking forward to Band Hero for a game that focused less on guitar riffs but more on playing a wide range of music.

Band Hero incorporates the ability to link up with your DS for various options. Since I don't have a DS, I feel that I'm not able to participate in the full spectrum of the game. For example, if you want to play roadie challenge (where DS users act like and compete as roadies while your band plays the game), you need a DS. Also, if you want to be able to accept and play "Fan requests", they can only be submitted through a DS.

The graphics have improved on Band Hero, but they are still not quite up to par with RB 2 graphics. The characters, especially the drummer, don't quite sync with the music.

The songs are geared more to a younger audience - Taylor Swift, Spice Girls, Jackson 5 (to name a few). You can download additional songs, but I haven't been able to check out the online catalog yet due to an error code ([...]). Also the tour destinations are geared more toward younger players - the mall, a pool party at Cabo, etc.

One of the things I like about BH vs. RB is that in BH you not only have to try to get 5 stars on every song, but you also have bonus challenges on each song (just like GH5). Some of them require you to hit as many "yellow" notes as you can in the song, get the most points on star power, and some are geared to specific instruments. I find this adds a bit more challenge to the game.

If you're looking for something like RB2, this isn't quite it. However, if you're looking for a game that is great for parties and larger groups, this is it. (Just make sure you have the DS to take full advantage of all the features available). Without a DS, it's probably not worth the price. (and I'm not about to go out and buy the DS just for the game)

Finally, the game isn't very long. The Career mode is much shorter than RB. This is another disappointment for me. The first night of playing, we were able to get through most of the Career levels/gigs in 2.5 hours.

(A guilty pleasure... but great nonetheless!)
『There are 2 groups of people that typically play Guitar Hero: Those who are score obsessed... they are all about mastering the most challenging of songs and having the highest scores on the leaderboards. Then there are those who love having a group of their friends over to play plastic instruments and yell at the top of their lungs for hours on end. For the most part...I fall into the second category.

I have loved every entry in the Rock Band series, and more recently fell in love with Guitar Hero 5. However, these games have failed me in one vital area: the soundtrack for these games is kinda niche. Oftentimes when friends or family would come over for a "Guitar Hero" or "Rock Band" party, it would turn into each of them taking turns scrolling through hundreds of alternative, progressive, or heavy metal songs until they find one or two that they know and KINDA LIKE... and since they don't necessarily own a Guitar Hero or Rock Band game, they aren't overly concerned about scores or anything like that...they just want to play music they know and love. That is where Band Hero swoops in to save the day (or at least save my party!!)

Rather than focusing on niche genres of music, Band Hero does the exact opposite... Band Hero's soundtrack is focused on Pop music. The very definition of POP MUSIC is music that is popular... songs that everyone knows and loves. And I have to say, Band Hero delivers. There is some great music on Band Hero. Granted, the setlist on Guitar Hero 5 was more appealing to me personally... but Band Hero's setlist will be a HUGE hit at my next party, which, thanks to Band Hero, will be more of a "Karaoke party that also features all of the cool Guitar Hero elements for those interested" than a "Guitar Hero party". Here are some of my observations about the game:

*The Music - As I mentioned, the game focuses on pop music, with artists ranging from Yellowcard to Hillary Duff to Taylor Swift to No Doubt and so on. There are several "guilty pleasures" songs that, while I wouldn't admit enjoying any other time, will be a HUGE hit when having friends over to play (especially my wife's friends)... like The Spice Girls, Taylor Swift, Joss Stone. There are even classic songs like "Rio" by Duran Duran, "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" by Culture Club, and "Kung Fu Fighting" by Carl Douglas (right?)... and cmon...who can really claim not to love singing any of those songs? Sure, they are really easy to play on guitar/bass/drums for the most part.... but they are fun. Besides, if you want a challenge...check out the SONG IMPORT feature!

*Song Import: For a small fee, you can import 61 songs from Guitar Hero 5, and several of the songs from Guitar Hero Smash Hits and Guitar Hero World Tour. Before importing Guitar Hero 5 (and after importing smash hits and world tour), I already had a total of 140 songs available to play in Band Hero! So, in addition to the pop songs included on the disk, I am also able to include alot of the great and more challenging songs from Guitar Hero 5 (like "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Medicate", and lots of other great stuff!!!)

*Downloadable Content: Like Guitar Hero 5 and Guitar Hero:World Tour, Band Hero includes an in-game music store that allows you to purchase additional songs. Hopefully, this means that, in addition to the more hardcore downloadable songs available for Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero will also be getting downloadable pop music! Also, most (if not all) of the dlc that you purchase for Guitar Hero 5 and Guitar Hero World Tour are AUTOMATICALLY playable in Band Hero! If, however, you want these to be excluded from Band Hero, there is a place in the Options menu that allows dlc to be disabled. With downloadable content and importing the songs from other versions of Guitar Hero, I should have a library of over 200 song available for playing in Band Hero by the end of the week!

*Band Hero = Guitar Hero 5 with more neon lights: Guitar Hero 5 for Wii is a game that any person with a Wii should own. Period. It was the first of the rhythm games to use high-capacity sd cards, effectively adding a hard drive to your Wii. It had AWESOME features like Party Play mode, drop-in and drop-out multiplayer, and the ability change difficulty on the fly. "Beginner" difficulty is also included, which will allow ANYONE to pick up this game and start playing, no matter what skill level. And then there was the AWESOME, Wii-exclusive "Roadie Battle" mode that allowed someone to sit on the sideline with a DS and sabotage other players.... PRICELESS!!! ALL of the features from Guitar Hero 5 are also implemented in Band Hero. That automatically makes Band Hero AWESOME. Period.

I really hope Band Hero sells well. Activision took a great game and made it more marketable. Between DJ Hero, Band Hero, and Guitar Hero 5, there is no longer any excuse for people not to jump in and enjoy rythym gaming. Unless you hate music and hate fun, you should own this game. =) Some parents/players were put off by some of the art style used in the Guitar Hero games (lots of skulls, demons, lightning bolts, and heavy metal)... and those people will be happy to know that the look and feel used in Band Hero is more family friendly...they've replaced those things with neon lights, starbursts, glitter, floodlights... it really feels like "Guitar Hero" meets "The MTV VMA Awards". I really enjoy the game, and hope you will too!!

My review scores:

Gameplay: 10/10
Difficulty: 8/10 (Anyone from grandma to seasoned hardcore guitar hero veterans can get loads of value out of this game)
Presentation: 9/10
Lasting Value: 9/10
Overall: 9.5/10』

(DJ Hero for the Wii)
『Great game...my husband loves it! For adults who don't have unlimited time or the dexterity left in their hands, the Nintendo Wii is the perfect option for video game fun. You can literally pick it up the first time and start playing with it, no long lag time to 'get good'. Its great at dinner parties, just be vigilant about making people use the wrist straps lest they destroy your tv with an ill-fated swing! DJ Hero is for music nerds everywhere and the people who love them...great gift for the holidays.』

(A great way to enjoy a get together even more)
『I bought this bundle the other day and the first time I tried it, I played for over 2 hours, alone. Of course that was after my son and daughter were done with it, they were on it for 2 hours. The mixes are nothing short of excellent. The tutorials are both great and fun to get your feet wet in the game. Also I find it easier to scratch with the buttons on the "outside" of the turntable instead of the "inside" with my right hand used for the turntable. Trying to hold the Blue button with your ring finger with the buttons on the "inside" and scratch at the same time is a bit awkward due to the slight weight of the turntable. I prefer scratching using my index finger on the Blue button. But that's just me. Also, keep those greasy foods away! HAHA! Even sweaty fingers alone will make it a bit harder to keep the buttons pressed as you scratch on the turntable.

Pros:
- Hours and hours of fun.
- Mixes are great, whether you just listen to them in party mode or playing along.
- All ages will enjoy this game, either watching or trying it.
- Very easy learning curve.
- Varying levels of difficulty keeps everyone hooked on the game.

Cons:
- Only 1 turntable. I know, this is getting picky, but that is all I can say that is a downside to the bundle.

(crazy fun)
『i just got this game yesterday and had a few friends over to play. its so much fun, we played all night! i'm going to get another turntable as soon as they are sold seperate from the game. if you like music, this is the best music from activision thus far!

(love this game, but....)
『this is great game
my brain has gotten a work out
i am impressed
however
i cant disconnect the wii controller from the console
its like its locked or it is
i have contaced activision
wow amazed at how little they knew what i was talking about and it was there product

this game is awesonme and the graphics even on the wii are great!!!!!

but removing the controller from the console
is it just mine or what
but this is horrible!!!!!』

『Be the life of the party! The makers of Guitar Hero introduce an entirely fresh and innovative way to experience your favorite music. With DJ Hero you will be the life of the party as you spin and scratch more than 100 songs into unique mixes. Get ready for a whole new phenomenon in music.』

(Quite fun)
『Very similar to the other Lego (whatever) games. The environments are very busy, so it can be hard to tell what's going on sometimes. Fun to play.』

(Love the Lego games)
『I'm a big fan of all of the lego games, and this one is no exception. However, I'm not sure if I'm just getting better at them, or if this one is overall a little easier. I just haven't felt as challenged, having only really had to play each level once in story mode and then once (rarely twice) in free play mode to get all of bricks and canisters...

Oh well, still a blast.』

(Fun!)
『My husband and I play this game together or individually. Our 6-year-old son is starting to get into it as well. The controls are a little complex for him but he is getting the hang of it rather quickly.

When we're playing a level, sometimes we can't figure out for quite a while how to get from one scene to the next. There are little to no instructions within the game, but eventually we figure it out. It's really fun, and it's good clean fun too. When a character is shot or hit, their Legos come all apart. No blood, no gore. I really appreciate that with little kids in the house.

If you are new to the Lego game series, FYI, there is no talking in the game. When the characters "talk", it's more like mumbling and grunting. Pretty funny, actually.

We first had the Lego Star Wars game, and enjoyed it so we bought this game on Amazon. Comparatively, I think this one is a tad harder (the way out, like i mentioned before, takes a little more effort to find). Also this game is visually darker than the Star Wars game.

Over all, it's a fantastic game.』

(Lego Batman Rules!)
『I LOVE Lego Wii games. The animation is awesome and this game is just as much fun as Star Wars! I can't wait for them to develop more games. The shipping was fast and the game is awesome...Thanks!』

(Great game at a bargain price!)
『We love all the Lego games. I have kids ages 9,3, and 1 and we play all our games as a family,so violent games are out of the question. In Lego games you "die" by just breaking apart. It is the perfect solution to wanting a shooting game without seeing anyone get shot. But it is also interesting enough to keep the whole family involved for weeks at a time. We have been playing this game since July and still love it. We have played the Star Wars complete Saga for over a year and still love it too. They require thinking and problem solving which surprised me. Plus if you love Legos you will be amazed how much the animation looks like the real thing. My 9 year old loves the Batman game because it lets you do all the levels from the villans point of view. Each chapter has a Super Hero version and a Villan version. I wish they made more Lego games, we would buy them all.』

Music and Gaming Via a Revolutionary Controller
Like the music that inspired it,DJ Heroallows players to experience music in a new revolutionary way through through its game-specific controller. Included with theDJ Herosoftware, theDJ Herocontroller is a combination turntable and mixer that immerses you into authentic DJ culture allowing you to scratch, cross-fade, and beat match. The turntable half of the controller features three color-coated buttons used to direct action during gameplay and a realistically rotating turntable. The opposite end of the controller contains the mixer controls in the form of a lateral fader allowing for switching between tracks and mixing, a knob for additional effects and a button for capturing "euphoria," a star power-like point bonus.

In addition, the mixer portion of the controller detaches to accommodate left-handed players and contains an out of the way compartment holding a D-pad and conventional controller buttons for easy console navigation. Taken together, both halves of the controller allow players to customize their mix with a variety of effects and samples transforming a face in the crowd into the life of the party.

Gameplay
Gameplay inDJ Herois reminiscent to games in theGuitar Heroseries. Musical prompts stream towards players on one of three color-coded ribbons; red and blue which correspond to the two tracks that the player is able to simultaneously or individually manipulate, as well as a red one between these two, used to insert samples. In addition to hitting individual notes and samples, players are also challenged to scratch on command by pressing the appropriate button for the track and sliding the turntable up or down as indicated on the ribbon. The game also provides players with a chance to turn back the clock on earlier action via its "Rewind" feature. This ability is monitored via the rewind meter that levels higher with successful play, and and when full allows the player to rewind the song to fix errors in their earlier performance. The reward for precision is the build up of points, which can be temporarily doubled via euphoria power with the push of a button on the mixer end of the controller.

Rule the Hottest Parties
In the tradition ofGuitar Hero, which brought gamers into the world of rock‘n’ roll,DJ Heroplaces players in the DJ booth at some of the hottest clubbing scenes from around the globe. Party in venues reminiscent of real world locales from around the globe including an ultra plush and sexy Hollywood Hills style mansion, to an open air beach club in Ibiza.

Play Modes
AlthoughDJ Herocontains engrossing single player game options, including a career mode, much of the action in the game surrounds its wealth of multiplayer modes. These include both online and offline multiplayer competitive and cooperative modes: including DJ vs. DJ, DJ + DJ and DJ + Guitar.

Set List
TheDJ Heroset list is constructed of 100 songs, crafted into more than 80 two-song DJ mixes. These mixes are the product of both the creative talents of internationally known DJs such as DJ Shadow, DJ Z-Trip, DJ AM and Daft Punk and the game development team. All songs used are new to theGuitar Herofamily of games and are pulled from a wide array of genres, including pop, grunge, soul, R&B, techno, hip hop, and house.

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review
(pretty good)
『This game is fun - a workout definitely - can't quite keep up with the kids. But really, it does require some stamina and coordination. This was an AMAZING price and we're excited to give some to family for gifts.』

(Dance Dance Revolultion 2 disappointment)
『I was expecting the arrows on the mat to light up to making learning easier. Without a good tutorial learning the dance moves was not easy and all in all a big disappointment.』

(Not For the Uncoordinated, Apparently)
『Neither my wife nor I enjoyed this game. Personally, I had a lot of trouble actually playing it - maybe I'm just too uncoordinated (middle aged married guy - shocker, there).

We hadn't played any of the dancing games prior to this one, but figured we'd give it a shot. (My wife isn't a gaming person, but she was excited by the dance game concept.) The arm gestures seemed a bit cumbersome, and I always felt like I was doing the feet correctly but never seemed to quite hit it well enough.

We played a couple times, and since then it's just been sitting unused (for months and months).

Other than that, it seemed fine for what it was (hence the 3 stars). If you like dancing games and have any aptitude for them, it's probably a reasonable choice. Otherwise, get a Wii Fit if you want an active video game (which we also have and actually enjoyed for a while).』

(DDR 2 for wii is very disappointing after 30 hours of play)
『I received DDR Hottest Party 2 for my birthday and for a space of 3 weeks have played it every day anywhere from 1.5 hours to 5 hours. Just to give an idea of my usage, I started at beginner level, spent about 15 hours on basic level and then proceeded to difficult level for the remaining 10 approximated hours i've used the game.

Pros: Genuinely fun and addictive game

1. It's really fun to wave the remote&nunchuk around while dancing
2. The soundtrack is really nice and has good variety and rhythms
3. I have a friend named Naoki (you'll get it if you play :) )
4. Using the workout mode, I average 6 calories per minute of dancing -- yes, that's 360 Kcal per hour! I've actually had to increase my caloric intake to counter the weight loss of a daily 2 hour session (which flies by because i'm always like, "shoot, i missed a step. one more time!").

Cons: Not customizable and not suitable for hard play

1. The mat it comes with is poor, especially on carpet:
a. After 30 hours of use, the mat responds sluggishly and often does not register steps which are in the boxes but not directly on the arrows. I put tape markers on mine to try and feel the location better, but it's frustrating.
b. DDR HP2 IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANY 3RD PARTY DANCE MATS! This includes the high end Cobalt Flux's etc. See e-mail below.

2. Took about 10 hours of play to unlock all songs but the last boss song (Osaka Evolved). Cannot download for free or for money additional songs.

3. Hand control and nunchuck require unnatural movements in order to get an accurate reading -- you have to shake it forcefully to get a distinct "stop" which will be registered by the game. You can do it more lightly, but I've found that there's a high probability for a "good" which will ruin any long combos.

So overall, I love DDR because it's a great game and a great workout, but I'm really disappointed with HP2 for wii. I'm frustrated that because I love playing so much, I've outgrown the hardware in less than one month and Konami does not provide any alternatives that I am aware of. I recommend getting the PS2 version as most high quality mats are PS compatible and there is a PS2 to PC converter available allowing play with the computer for use with any MP3 song and customizable arrow sequences.

-------------------------------
I recently contacted Konami regarding the compatibility of their Wii game with 3rd party mats and they had this to say:
"Dear Konami Customer,
Thank you for contacting Konami Support. We regret to inform you that we cannot guarantee that a third party dance mat will function with our DDR games. This is why we suggest the official Konami dance mat. Konami does not have an official hard dance mat.
We apologize for the inconvenience."』

(Good game)
『This is a good game and I enjoying dancing. The only bad part is the dance mat is kind of small. It is made more for kids. I still have fun dance with this game.』
『Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 2 includes multiple new and enhanced options and setting for players of all skill levels, cool smash hit songs from the last four decades, robust online and offline support and other exclusives. Bundle comes with the game and dance mat. Cool new modes and features include support for your Wii Mii on the DDR dance floor. Hand Gestures and New Gimmicks
Although loaded all the familiar mat mashingDDRfun, in utilizing the motion sensing capabilities of the Wii Remote,DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2also brings new moves to the floor in the form of Hand Gestures and Gimmicks. Hand gestures require players to keep time to the rhythm of songs, beyond the step pattern they dance to, by shaking the Wii Remote or Nunchuck. In effect this adds a third dimension to the traditional front to back/side to side gameplay, resulting in an even more full-body experience. In addition, if players so choose they can also up their difficulty level through Gimmicks. Through these players can briefly alter the game's UI--for example delaying the appearance of on-screen arrows--forcing them to rely on their rhythm instead of screen prompts and in the process pick up major bonuses.

Key Game Features:

The New Hottest Training Mode
Finally,DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2also includes a new lesson track system. Unlike the tutorial tracks in previous releases that relied heavily on text explanations, here players new to DDR gameplay will enjoy both video and audio encouragement and direction from their own on-screen instructor. As "left, right"…"front, back" etc. are called out all dance floor newbies have to do to place their feet accordingly on the mat and there you have it. You've joined the DanceDance revolution. So, whether you are new to theDDRuniverse, or a master of the disco ball, get ready to become the life of the party, the Hottest Party, withDanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2for the Wii gaming system.

(Distressing use of English Grammar!)
『Love the video! She is making me work SO hard! It feels great. The challenge provided by the "Resolutions" is motivating.
There are a few exercises which seem very difficult to coordinate with her movements&obtain a "green".
I wish there was a label for each exercise as it comes up -- I have to go to the "Help" each time to figure out what is coming next. She's just standing there.

I am bothered tremendously when the program says, "LAY on your back" -- the correct word (as used in Wii Fit) is "LIE". We LIE down. We LAY our head down. LIE refers to "reclining", while "LAY" is used when we are to place something. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard to hear the incorrect usage. PLEASE correct it!

Is there a way to adjust the days on the Resolution calendar? I would like to be able to choose different days each week, as my schedule varies.
Also -- how does one properly shut down the program? (i.e. in order to shift over to the Wii Fit disk). The only way I've found is to completely turn off the Wii and restart it. It' already a little frustrating to be constantly re-calibrating the Balance Board. Wish the memory was better on that one!

FITMOM10』

(Beginners Beware...)
『I was searching Amazon for a fitness game for Wii and came across Jillian Michael's Fitness Ultimatum. I had not yet read the reviews on previous versions and didn't know how bad they were. I watched the teaser video and my first impression was that this was the game I needed. Jillian appeared to be very motivational. I ordered the game and when it arrived I immediately tried it out.

It didn't seem to bad and I set up my fitness challenge for the next day. I wanted to work on my core and abs so I set up both areas. I thought that I could do one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I was wrong. Once you start the challenge you are stuck doing both parts; even if you don't have enough time. If you try end it after you do the first one, it doesn't save your data and you're stuck re-doing it.

To make matters worse, this game is not for beginners. The sit-ups are excruciatingly hard and there is no option to put in if you're a beginner or not. I thought I was going to die when Jillian asked me to do 90 sit-ups in one go (I've never been able to do maybe more than 10 or so in one shot and not at the difficulty she posed).

I did not find this game to be fun and didn't want to play it again. Luckily, my Biggest Loser game for Wii arrived and so I'm not completely stuck without fitness.

If you're a beginner, I would not recommend this game. It appears to be more for people who already have a fitness regime and are in shape.』

(Not fun like Wii Fit, not effective like Jillian's videos)
『I am a huge Jillian fan and have gotten great results from her workouts. The philosophy behind her workouts is to combine strength training with cardio in fast-paced circuits to get the most effective workout in the shortest period of time. Following her videos accomplishes that, playing the game doesn't, mostly because the game has long pauses between exercises. I also tried to create my own circuits but didn't see enough variation between exercises to get a good upper-body/lower-boy/cardio/abs combo circuit. I do love how having the board and wii-mote keeps me honest when I exercise but I will only use this game when I'm bored and I don't want to get a hard workout. For my regular workouts I will continue to use Jillian's videos.』

(Again??)
『When I read the reviews, I believed the game would be better this time around. NOT SO!! I do the exercises and then Jillian yells at me because the game is not registering my movements. It's extremely discouraging. Thanks but no thanks...』

(Wasn't real impressed.......)
『I bought this game after using my EA Active Sports (which I love) game for about 6 months and I thought that it would give me variety on my workouts. Maybe I'm just used to the "user-friendliness" of the other game but this one gave no real instruction on how to do the different exercises. If an inexperienced person were to buy this game they might not be able to do them correctly and get the full benefit of the exercises. It boasts better movement detection but it seems that you can't get the remote in "just the right position" to register your movements correctly. I spent most of my workout getting frustrated because it wasn't even registering my movements. Needless to say, I have gone back to my EA Active Sports game and am anxiously awaiting the "More Workouts" version when it comes out.』
『Building on the success of her first videogame, star fitness trainer Jillian Michaels returns to Wii with a new and improved fast-paced, high-intensity workout in Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2010. Set on a rugged, Pacific jungle island, players will enter a Hell Week-style boot camp filled with many new features and workout modes for 2010, including more accurate motion tracking and a calendar system enabling the user to program routines on a period of up to 6 months. Finally, you'll never train alone with direct feedback and motivation from Jillian for greater results! (Great Deal for the money!)
『Have worked in plastic molding operations in the past. Very well designed and produced product. Well worth the $19.95 The game is really 'icing on the cake"』

(Better than all the rest)
『I bought this wii zapper thinking that i probably wouldn't like the feel of it. At the same time I bought the wii perfect shot gun. I ended up liking the official zapper way more. It is more comfortable to hold and shoot. As for the game...I figured it would be cheesy and I would only play it for about 20 minutes before getting bored. I was definitely wrong! My boyfriend and I are in serious competition. I recommend this game and this zapper! Simply the best.』

(wii games)
『This is a great game if you like target shooting. Just be sure you are siting within 15' of the sensor or you won't get very good accuracy!』

(Links&Zapper Gun...worth the purchase)
『The zapper gun...I could live without it. Links Wii game that comes included, is pretty fun. The two of them together for $20, a good bargain. We have had fun playing the game and my 5 year old LOVES the zapper....my husband I don't really care for it. So, since the kid really likes it, it gets 4 stars!』

(It's not accurate like the old NES Light Gun.)
『The accuracy is terrible. The problem isn't the game, but the Wii System itself. The wand is a crude accelerometer, not a position in space device.

In other words, when you move your zapper + remote around, it's moving the crosshairs as if it were a mouse cursor, not placing the cursor exactly where the end of the zapper is pointing.

Game is not fun, if I wanted to play a mouse shooting game, I'd have a better time playing it on the PC.

If you want a real shooting game, go dig up a cathode ray tube TV, an 8 bit NES + original zapper and the Duck Hunt game.』

『This accessory combines the accuracy of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in a single housing for experiences for first-person shooters and targeting games. Players can hear the sounds of battle through the Wii Remote speaker when it is incorporated into the Wii Zapper.』

(great for kids or adults)
『I'll admit up front I've never played any of the other Mario Party games, so I can't exactly compare it to any others.
The only reason I got to play this at all was because a kid I was babysitting brought it over and convinced me to play it with him. It really was a lot of fun, with a great deal of competitiveness. I only played one of the games with him, but later went back myself and tried some of the others and the mini-games. It's a fun thing to do during free time, and a lot more fun with multiple players.
Some of the objectives and controls took me a minute to grasp (mostly because I don't play with the Wii a lot), but I managed to kick his butt several times on my first time playing, so they're still pretty easy to pick up.

Overall, it's not the best game ever made, but it's a lot more fun than I expected.』

(Mario Party 8)
『This is a fun game to play and I would recommend it for anyone who likes the previous versions of Mario Party.』

(Wii wonders)
『Here it is finally! A mario party on the new wii platform. This game is sure to not dissapoint. Its classic mario party with a new theme, controls, and characters.

Gameplay
Its mario party! You hit dice and move along a gameboard like candyland. There are blue, red, yellow, and green squares along your path. If you land on a blue square you get 3 coins if you land on a red square you loose 3 coins. Yellow gives you minigames that allow you to gain or take coins from people. The game has power ups and downs that allow you to wreck havoc on your opponents. You can play for a certain set of turns like 10 or more turns. After each turn there is a minigame to play with a friend or cpu that if you win will reward you coins. The object of the game is to find and obtain yellow stars. Each map has different ways to get stars some will require you to simply make it to the star first while others will require you to pay a certain number of coins for a star. After your turns are up, teh team with the most stars wins. 5/5

Controls
It's very simple and uses the wii to the best of its ability. To hit the dice you simply move the wii remote up in a tapping motion. To throw darts you would use the wii remote as if you were throwing a real dart. All the minigames require you to tilt or move the remote a certain way to move your character or item. This allows you to bond more with the game and it adds more fun and value to your wins.
5/5

Graphics
The graphics are well done for a mario game. The maps are beautiful especially the beach and monopoly themed maps. You will have a lot of fun playing through all the maps and themes. 5/5

Characters
There are a lot of different characters to play with. Some have to be unlocked but they are really fun to play with. Each character has a personality and talks a bit. If they loose coins they sigh or say no, if they gain coins they say yes or way to go. If during gameplay you move the wii remote in any dirrection your characters will make random noise as to try to pep you up. Its really fun and really well done. 5/5

Maps
My only issue so far with the maps are that there arnt enough. I believe there are only 6 maps maybe 7. The maps are fun to play yes but i would have expected more maps to play maybe at least 10. Unfortunatly this is where the game falls flat. After awhile you just dont want to play the same maps again and again. 2/5

All and all this is a great game that i would recommend for adults and children alike. It is great fun for the family or friends and allows people to just break away and have a good time.』

(My hole family loves this game)
『My 4 yr old plays it more than anyone. i have to wait til she goes to bed if I want a turn!』

(Mario Party Falls to the Depths)
『Mario Party, a video game that plays board-game style inside a video game with Mario characters, has been a great franchise that has brought happiness to many gamers and non-gamers alike, lots of profit to Nintendo, lots of innovation, and, now, lots of disappointment.

Mario Party used to keep me and my friends and my family playing for hours on end and have lots of fun trying to beat each other, stay ahead, and beat each other to a pulp in scores and winning by longshots in mini-games. Now, there's almost no innovation. We've seen it all before. Sure, some of the mini-games (which is the majority of the game) are new, but no stunning new ideas. The controls on some of the games are funky, in particular "Flip the Chimp". How anyone plays this game, we have no idea. The idea of the game is have your robotic monkey climb a pole, and flip him from left to right to avoid having his head hit by coconuts by swinging your wii remote from side to side. Plain and simple, it DOESN'T WORK. Also, rowing a boat to get to the finish line first. Just as it sounds, you row with your Wii Remote. Plain and simple, it DOESN'T WORK.

Even the graphics don't present anything very good for the Wii.

A mediocre game. This one kept my family playing for only a few days. If you want Mario Party, and you've never played before, this one's a good place to start. Then work backwards towards the better games.』

『The world's most popular party videogame is getting a lot crazier inMario Party 8for Wii! Whether you're shaking up cola cans or lassoing barrels, you and your friends will be drawn into the action like never before using the Wii Remote.

All-new ways to play:

All-new features/boards:

Mario Party 8for Wii also includes dozens of new mini-games, six new party boards, and many new game modes. In a series first, players can transform their characters into many forms, such as player-smashing boulders and coin-sucking vampires.Mario Party 8also includes "extra-large" mini-games like Star Carnival Bowling and Table Menace. One to four players can playMario Party 8for Wii, each with a Wii Remote.』

(was expecting better country songs)
『I have to admit that the over all game was a little insulting to country music fans. Where the other rock bands make the avatars look cool, this one make them look like a bunch of white trash, missing teeth, haven't showered in decades, bottom of the gene pool. It was obviously made by people who do not like country and do not understand what it is about. The song choices are okay. There are a few gems and even a bunch of female vocals(I am female and like girlie songs). They could have chosen much better songs from each artist with a few minor exceptions. I was very excited about the country music rock band, and had in the past, even written the company begging for it, only to be told that the demand was extremely low for one. It just felt that the people felt like making this was some sort of punishment and hated every minuet, even going out of their way to be quite insulting to country music artists as well as country music fans. Please try harder people! But if you are a die hard country fan, you're going to buy this anyway and enjoy it to the fullest, because that is what we do. Don't take my word for it, go and ask others or go and buy it yourself. I also wish there were more songs. Maybe they will come out with a sequel to this one...』

(rock band country review)
『This is a great game and it's a lot of fun. I would highly recommend it.』

(Not the most fun I've ever had...)
『After playing GH for so long, I was less than impressed by the gameplay and graphics of RB Country.
Also, I knew when I bought it, the song selection is not all that great. Of all the classic (new and old) country songs, they picked some real average "hits". Overall, it is just ok.』

(A winner)
『I own quite a selection of Rock Band and Guitar Hero games and enjoy them all. But if you want to spend a relaxing evening just having loads of fun, Rock Band Country Track Pack is a winner! It's more laid back on the whole since it is country music but I ended up enjoying the different pace. We even had some people who don't like country music, having a blast with this game. The selection of music is not exactly what I would have expected. There are a lot of good songs that are fun to play but you will find a few clunkers right off the bat that you will never play again. Not unusual though since they seem to put songs like that on all Rock Band and Guitar Hero games. I would highly recommend this game for anyone who plays Rock band or Guitar Hero for fun, those who are hard core will probably find it too tame even on expert.』

(Still rocks)
『Great for family fun! Newer songs the kids love, classics for Mom, Dad (and the grandparents!)』
『Rock Band Country Track Pack features up to 21 originally mastered recordings from legendary country western artists such as Alan Jackson, Dixie Chicks, Kenny Chesney, Kenny Rogers, Shania Twain, and Rascal Flatts, with timeless hits such as The Gambler, Any Man of Mine and many more. (If you love the Zelda series, you will love this game!)
『I am a huge Zelda fan, having played almost all of the games and on a variety of game consoles from the original NES, Gameboy Advanced, the DS and now the Wii. This Zelda game is by far my favorite. I am addicted! It's a really long game (so far I have put in close to 60 hours into it and I still have SEVERAL missions to complete) but I am taking my time so that I miss nothing. It's well worth the money. I love the graphics. I love the process and the challenge of getting through the dungeons / temples, etc and for collecting items throughout the game. Great Game!!』

(sooo much fun!)
『love this game, not as memorable as ocarina of time back in the day, but it keeps me highly entertained when i am bored. i love the controls on the wii, and i like how link transforms into a wolf. the little guy that helps you through the game is kinda annoying, i miss the fairy talking.』

(Well worth every penny!)
『Honestly, I didn't know what to expect from this game. The controls were different, you turn into a wolf and I already cringed at the idea of aiming with the Wiimote (it sucked on another game). But this game proved that Zelda is one of the best franchises ever and has plenty of room to evolve and branch out simply because of the fantasy world it's set in. If you love the series or if you just want to add an amazing game to an admittedly slim Wii library, get this game!』

(Fun, but boring for kids.)
『I love the legend of zelda series and this game was very fun, but it is made in a way that it looks like ordianary life. Little kids about ten and below would get bored at the plain scenery, unlike in wind waker the scenery is very poppy and bright, same thing in the past games. The thing that drove me CRAZY in this game was that imp, midna talking! She kept "tee hee hee, jump here" I got sick of heaing "tee hee hee" every time i turned into a wolf. but the game has a nice story line which may get boring in some parts, but are still enjoyable. There is one thing is=n this game i think about killed me though, the dungeons. After the first dungeon in the forest temple i knew it would KILL me to do the other 5 dungeons. THESE DUNGEONS ARE LIKE LITTLE MAZES! YOU LOSE YOUR WAY A LOT UNLESS YOU HAVE A PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY! If you can be patient (very unlike me) you will enjoy this. But it you arent i dont reccomend this for you.I about threw this game out the window when i was doing the goron mines in death montain, its hard to find your way. I loved this game when i finally beat it but i hated having to do it. Hope this helped!』

(AWSOME!)
『This game was the best game EVER! It is fun, challenging, and lasts a while longer than most games like this. you get all sorts of side quests to make the game last longer (such as bug catching, spirit finding...). they have great cutscenes, and good weapon selecton. the only bad this is at the end, the midina girl transformed back to her usual self after killing ganondorf and then she goes to the mirror to her land, says "well, with the mirror around, we can allways see each other again!" and then promptly shatters it. then it just says the end for eternity not letting you finish anything else you were working on... :(』

    Link's journeys, reinvented
Hailed by many as the best Zelda game since 1998'sOcarina of Time,Twilight Princessthrusts players into a troubled world ravaged by a dangerous magic. Sporting a new, more realistic visual style than the previous Zelda title, Link looks much more like an adult than in previous installments and fits well into an environment that provides Zelda fans with a much more gritty and grim environment to explore. The entirety of the quest fits this darker mood, as both Link and NPC's alike share the same concern for the changes about in Hyrule.

More than just a spiritual successor to previous Zelda installments,Twilight Princessoffers players a new way of controlling Link through dungeons, forests, towns, and the bizarre Twilight Realm: precise weapon controls with the Wii remote! Players can use the remote to control Links' weapons including the sword, arrows, and boomerang. This new control scheme allows for much faster and more accurate control than on previous Nintendo hardware. For example, waving the remote in the air will result in Link performing the same move with the sword. To fire off on arrow, players "pull back" on a virtual controller string as the Wii remote's speaker lets players know that the projectile is ready for release. It all works incredibly well and adds to the title's immersion and style- you feel more in the center of the action than in previous Zelda games.

As impressive as the new control scheme is, the scope and size of the new land of the Hyrule is equally as impressive- truly the Wii's first epic adventure. Beautifully crafted and four years in the making, the land players travel through is vast and diverse as the dungeons and monsters that lie within. As players collect triforce pieces from the distant sections of the continent, they will get to know many different villages and foes. Thankfully, Link will be able to move over long stretches of land faster thanks to "Epona," your faithful horse. Epona also helps Link become a more effective fighter, as a number of powerful and impressive sword strikes can be launched while galloping through fields of enemies.

    The Twilight Realm awaits
Like most games in the Zelda franchise, Link begins his adventure with little more than the clothes he has on an an inkling that something has gone awry. After an initial trip to the Twilight Realm, in which Link appears as a wolf, a friendly shadow dweller named Midna will meet up with players and give helpful advice on gameplay. Fortunately for players, this virtual assistant spells out ways to be a more effective adventurer in and out of the shadow world. Early stages of the game have Link spending a lot of time in the Twilight Realm, and outdoor areas of Hyrule, attempting to clear areas of the strange darkness that has seemingly fallen over every village, forest, and field. As the story progresses, players will learn the cause of the shadows, and what they must to do vanquish them for good.

    Puzzling puzzles
Link once again finds himself in a number of classic Zelda-esque puzzle scenarios in which he must light torches to unlock doors, raise and lower water levels, and fight enemies to collect keys and open chests for valuable rupees. A number of the dungeons present unique puzzle challenges that rely on the player's ability to hone their Wii remote's control, such as an air castle in the sky that can only be accessed by an extremely accurate grappling hook toss.

In general,Twilight Princessis more challenging than the average Zelda game, with a number of boss battles having protracted hit sequences with little support potions about, and even less warning. Still, there's never been an adventure experience such as this, wherein players can literally charge at a dungeon boss with their fists and punch the air to defeat an enormous foe. As the finest Zelda experience in almost ten years and the game fans have been waiting for,Twilight Princesswill delight young and old gamers alike.
