(Fun fun fun)

(get this game)

(Rallisport Challenge Rocks)

(Great Racing Game)

(Xbox Scored major points with this!!)
This game is a joy to play. Superb entertainment. Awesome graphics and controls. Everyone I know who has played this game got really into it. Rallysport 2 is also fantastic.
This game is the end all racing game,i dont even normally like racing games because all you do is floor it and win. With this game that isn't always a good ide.It requires actual skil.Anyone who gives this game bad reviews is someone who has just picked up the controller and started playing. You have to master drifting around corners and how to use your speed. This game kicks butt!Go get it right now, I mean, look at at the price!
When I first picked up the controller for this game, I was terrible. I flew off the mountain curves, ran into signs, and often found my car just rolling around on the ground; yet it was fun! Many people I hear prefer "Colin McRae 3" for the simulation factor and I recently had the opportunity to test it out. I thought it was fine, but the controls weren't what I wanted. Also it felt much slower paced. Rallisport Challenge is a fast paced thrill ride which sends you from icey roads to downhill mountain tracks. I constantly find myself getting faster and faster in each track. Drifting and power sliding is essential, this isn't just a grip driving game. And if the controls do bother you, (it tends to be sensative, which is why I like it) you can always tweak it to your liking. It has deadzone and sensativity options. The graphics are top notch too for a game that's roughly 2 years old now. I just bought a new video card (AIW 9800 Pro) and it has further enhanced the realism of this game. I highly recommend this game for rally enthusiasts or just anyone who likes racing games in general.
Rallisport Challenge is a top notch racing game. It's challenging, exciting, has great graphics, the courses are well done and the Rally cars are awesome!

Its beginner and expert friendly. Anyone can pick this one up and have fun, only an expert can unlock all tracks and cars.

The multiplayer is nice but you better have a big TV, as its a little hard to see the course, but its fun anyway.

Cons are that it restarts you when you veer off course ever so slightly, no shortcuts on this game. The multiplayer menus are a llittle bit of a pain, when you select a new course it makes you select a car too, everytime.

All in all its a great racing game!
First of all, I dont own Xbox, i own a PS2, but I was impressed big time with RalliSport Challenge. The car physics are remarkably realistic with spin-outs, powerslides, jumps, car damage e.t.c. A plethora of racetracks on different terrain which are accurate and a good selection of licensed rally cars are available.(Subaru WRC impreza's my fave). The game's AI is sufficiently difficult for a challenge, and u can't afford to take your eye off the track for a sec. I'm a racing game nut, but you don't have to be to enjoy this title. The selection screen is easy to navigate, so for those impatient one's, you can jump right in. I'm at my cousins house every weekend to play this title...considering i hate Xbox and it's owners ;-). This is a must have. Two Thumbs Up.

(Dont buy the new one.)

(Superb!)

(Great game, doesn't work on the 360)

(An excellent variety of gameplay)

(Repetitive and tedious)
This game sticks to the storyline its fun to play with some quirks here and there. I would write a full review, but if you want to finish off a storyline this one is the way to go. If you like the first and the second you cant go wrong.
This is an excellent game. I truly enjoyed this game. It is the culmination of the Sands of Time series. It is also my favorite game in the series. I really enjoyed the innovations in game play. The graphics are great, and the cut scenes are spectacular. The story is rich, and there are elements from the Sands of Time and Warrior Within present in the Two Thrones. I seriously recommend this game to all those who played the first two games. Prince of Persia is the greatest series of games to ever be created.
THe game itself is great. However I don't recommend you buy it -- it won't work with the xbox 360. :(

Just as a disclaimer, I write this with no experience or knowledge of the other two games except that which I can discern from this game... and also having beaten Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones twice.

My friend and I had never seen technique like this before... We've played splinter cell, spartan, halo, and many other games of different degrees of fighting and/or stealth skill, but this was truly unique. For those of you who've played these games, The Two Thrones is like mixing Splinter Cell stealth and acrobatics abilities (only better) with Spartan fighting abilities. The speed kill qualities, the acrobatics, the general fighting, the plot... it was all incredible. Also, the addition of a dark prince alter ego was quite enjoyable (I mean, how cool is it to have a dark warrior with glowing eyes and markings fighting with a bladed chain?). Being able to jump around, flip and do acrobatics like an olympic gymnast and flip, toss, slash, and kick enemies made the fighting scenes great! Finally, the sand powers were a great addition to the prince's arsenal (though, I can't compare them to those of past games).

However, as always, games have their downsides... Those of this game include the following... a few of the "puzzles" of this game were overly simplistic and some were just annoying. There's one puzzle in which you have to adjust the levels of three platforms in order to raise another larger platform... so I was staring at this and I thought "well... let me try to raise them all as high as I can, 'cause that's the only thing I can think of." Sure enough, that was the answer. Not exactly a "puzzle" is it? It seemed just to be a long, time-consuming prcedure. I felt the same for another puzzle-like thing that included moving a statue around... it was so annoying and definitely made that level much less enjoyable (thought, the fighting sequences to follow made up for it in my mind). Finally, thought this is more of a gliche I've heard about and experienced only once, it seems to freeze up very very occasionally (I think it has to do with ladders in the game). I've played it twice and for many hours and I've had it happen only once, so if you save at every point, it shouldn't be too bad. It might only occur for the Xbox (as I've heard).

Overall, this is an incredible game for those of you who like fighting with strategy and acrobatics in your games.

I agree with other reviewers that the graphics and vocals are good, but I find the gameplay itself less than stellar. For starters, I've always been irritated with games that don't let you save your status whenever you want. Sometimes I just want to get in a quick dose of gameplay, but that's not possible with these games that require you to play through an entire section before being allowed to save. That contributes to the repetitive, tedious nature of some sections. If you get stuck getting through a certain bit of the game, you're doomed to replay much of what led up to it over and over again.

I realize that tricky camera angles are some of the challenges that are supposed to exist in this game. More than in the earlier versions, however, I have trouble getting myself lined up for whatever task. Another tedious element.

I found this game to be more a test of my endurance and patience than actual fun.

Prince of Persia: Two Thrones picks up the incredible action and adventure of the series with an all-new chapter. The Prince has returned from his adventures with his love, Kaileena. Instead of the peace that he longs for, he finds his homeland ravaged by war and the kingdom turned against him. The Prince is captured and Kaileena has no choice but to sacrifice herself and unleash the Sands of Time to save him. Now a fugitive, the Prince discovers that past battles have given rise to a deadly Dark Prince, whose spirit gradually possesses him.

(Tons of Fun)

(Absolutely brilliant for Marvel Maniacs)

(Good game)

(Solid, if not spectacular)

(MARVEL IN A BOX)
My boys are 6 and 4. The 3 of us play together and we just have a blast. There are so many characters to choose from, so many moves that each can do. You can master one character and then still have 19 others you haven't touched.

As you play each character builds strength, and earns or unlocks more moves. So you want to play them all to earn what they can do.

We play it for nearly an hour every day we have so much fun with it. We have been playing for months and it is still fun. Best game we have played yet. There isn't any blood or gore that would prevent me from allowing my children to play.

This is definitely one of the greatest games i have ever played. But...the key thing i would like to note is that i played this game entirely with some cousins and friends. And when i played it myself...i would definitely say that it is lots of fun when playing with others because of the combos you can do together...a.i. is always off. It has a great range of characters to play with and has a phenomenal lasting plot/story. I played it several of times with many different characters and never got tired because of the seemingly endless array of possibilities with buying upgrades and abilities of the different characters. Buy this game if you are a Marvel maniac or if you want a game similar to Xmen legends 1/2, or want to know how the first game was before the second one came out. I can't wait for the second Ultimate alliance to come out this September, but until then I will remain a true Marvel maniac and replay this game in its entirety.
This is a pretty fun game. It plays pretty much the same as Justice League:Heroes, which can get a little repetetive, but it's still a good game to pass the time with. The in-game graphics are excellent for an older generation console, and the cinematics are really good as well.
I'm a big Marvel fan, so I found a lot to enjoy about this game; there are tons of characters here, some more obscure than others, as well as some fan favorites that should always be available (Deadpool, anyone?). The gameplay is fun, but probably best in small doses. For me, the combat can get a little repetitive; sure, you can switch out characters to make things more interesting, but the game really rewards you for keeping a core of the same team members (a rep bonus, passive team ability boosts, etc).

I haven't finished it yet, but I am enjoying it; my only major gripe would be that the story seems kind of watered down. This could be in part because the lack of a set of constant protagonists can make it difficult to get fully invested in what story there is, but the content itself also seems kinda weak. These are just my impressions so far; they might change as I continue playing. All in all though, it's a very worthwhile game, fun to play with friends, and the price makes it well worth picking up.

PURE AND SIMPLE FUN!
I had this game for the PC and I'm even thinking about getting a PSP Marvel Ultimate Allianceversion of it. It is THAT good.
I'm a MARVEL fan but i'm also an avid gamer and when you get a chance to play as ANY of more than 20 super-heroes , each one with his/her own set of Powers AND many unlockable outfits...you just have to add this to your collection.
And as you play along with friends you know that this game is going to be remembered for giving you a sense of exitement you never felt ever again since you and your big brother were kids playing with action figures.

This game is a must-have for any MARVEL fan. Pure and simple.

(Great Service)

(Madden-09)

(Great Game for Original X-Box)

(Madden)

(All smiles)
Received quickly and in great condition. Order went perfectly as advertised and handled very well.
excellent graphics, almost as if your acttualy in the game.
This is a really great game. Classic Madden genius and very similar to the previous years. Rosters were just a little dated and adjustments could have been made to the game before being released. They don't make NCAA for original X-box in a compatible year to import draft classes, other than that, I'm still playing.
Still old madden graphics but better with updated roster and stadiums. I played madden 06 for years and my record was 214-21. I can see me doing it again with this game.
I gave this gift to my hubbers for Christmas. Well, it kept him busy for 8+ hours that day while I had to work. I don't think I could ask for much more than that.

(The Thing for Xbox)

(Great!!!!)

(Another title that you can play on Xbox 360)

(Five Stars Means Five Times The Horror Gore And Suspense)

(A Terrifyingly Fun Game)
The game is just okay. Haven't had a chance to play it for long, so my review is premature.
As a fan of John Carpenter's 1982 cult classic The Thing, I have to say that I loved this game. The history of games based on movies and movies based on games have proven to be poor for the most part but it's not the case here. This game is a sequel to the film which was executed very, very well. It has a good story, but what impressed me the most was the gameplay, especially managing fear and trust with your squad members which was a theme in the movie. If your a fan of survival horror, this games for you, if your a fan of the movie, this is definitely for you.
You know it's cheaper to buy used Xbox Games to play on Xbox 360 especially when you have HDTV and component cable. This is great renewal of game experience in all new level. Especially, nowadays with Xbox 360 being mainstream, the game prices of used Xbox games are going down fast. Better get those games before all turns into collectibles.
I saw this game's ad on tv and thought wow I love games like that and went to Game Stop and bought it because I collected almost all games like that Resident Evil Evil Dead Doom and I think it would be cool to own a game like that so I put it into my Xbox and started playing it takes place in the arctic and its about this creature who kills and eats people to survive the creature is furry big and kind of like a bear and the gamer is a soldier and he or she leads a team of enginners scientists and soldiers to find the thing and put an end to it but along the way you encounter the things doing and you never know what will be around the corner basicly its a horror action shooter and its super scary and very bloody sometimes things pop out of the dark creatures besides the thing have been attracted by the blood and you and your team and what makes it even more scary are the blizzard missions in those missions you hafe to move in all directions to keep up with the monster and you can easaly freeze to death so you and your team take turns chasing the thing and you very offten encounter dead people eaten by the thing or froze to death somtimes the thing gets so mad that it just jumps at you from nowhere and blood splaters on the snow and you hafe to rapidly toggle the triggers to break free so to avoid that you hafe to stay 5 feet away from the thing and 5 feet close to the thing and I got killed at this game alot so buy the strategy guide and it will become easyer to beat it I got to the final showdown in 4 weeks so buy it or are you a sissy beleve me im 18 years old and still get scared just buy it jeez these people
The Thing rocks. From the very begining this game is scary. You start out as a soldier sent out looking for survivors in a destroyed science base in antarctica but find only mangled or frozen bodies, and scattered papers that describe some kind of mutating infection. Later you find a fellow soldier, cowering in a corner, surrounded by mutilated bodys and babbeling about an unknown horror. This horror, the thing, is a virus that mutates anyone infected by it into a nightmarish beast. Your fellow soldiers suspect everyone of being infected and paranoia sets in. In this game you not only have to fight the monsters, but also cope with your teammates fears. A great story, cool weapons, and managing fear make The Thing a grade A horror game. The gory content of this game also makes it scary. Finding an evecerated corpse impaled upon its own severed limb, while your men cringe nervously as they hear strange shrieks and growels coming from the shadows, really adds up to a terrify game. I love this game and all my buddys who have rented or borrowed it ended up buying it because they loved it so much too. If you enjoy horror games or are a fan of the movie than buy it because this will blow you away. (you should also see the movie if you havent already, its great)
The Thing takes you on a new mission full of terrifying and shocking confrontations with an enemy no human has faced before!
Based on the same elements that made the movie so enjoyable--fear, suspense, and the possibility that your teammate might be infected--The Thinglets players creep into action with the help of several nonplayer characters (NPCs), whom you use to protect and aid your group. Using a core team of engineers, medics, and soldiers, players must manage the level of trust in, and fear of, you that these characters experience. They react to your actions and might betray you if they think you are the Thing. Conversely, you must constantly monitor which one of them might be infected. Other characters must trust you, but if they fear you, actions as drastic as coercion are necessary. For example, if a soldier doesn't have confidence in you, you may have to put your gun to his head to convince him you're not the Thing... and for his sake, he'd better believe.

(Lots Of Fun)

(Destroy All Humans is Fun)

(A big smile)

(Better than the first game)

(Great sequel!)
I bought this game for my dad and I think I played it more then he did. I was alot of fun and I actually was able to beat it. Blowing tanks up in the UFO was probably my fav part. This is not a game for advance gamers but maybe just average ones.
This was a gift for my son however he has demonstrated that he enjoys it, gave it a high rating, and has spent hours playing it.
The smile and calls from my grandson on how happy he is is all I have to say about this product... He loves it!
Has a lot of new weapons. You can travel all over the world, and the moon. It's a little bit tougher than the first one. This game takes place in the 1960s, the first game was set in the 1950s.

The game starts out with the Soviet Union discovering that you are an alien, attacking you, and nuking the mothership, but if you try to trace the storyline any farther than that, you will end up frusterated and with a massive headache as it is way too complicated.
In the game you get some new PK abilities such as the PK "free love" ability, which makes everyone dance like a hippie and forget if they saw you, as well as "protect", making armed humans defend you with their pathetic lives. To get ammo for your weapons you now transmogrify you surroundings into ammo. Also, your new "disclocator" weapon fires a disc that grabs things and flings them to their doom.
In your saucer you can abduct humans and put them in your gene blender to do experiments on them to gain PK abilities, such as abducting and experementing on 6 hippies makes you steal hippie bodies to disguise yourself twice as quickly as before. Also you get a new weapon, anti-gravity field, making all objects within range defenslessly float around so you can finish them off.
The gameplay for this game is about the same as the last one, but the side missions are so much better. They are like actual missions instead of run around and shoot stuff mindlessness. Instead of only one kind of side mission, there are now many kinds. The odd job, starting cults to worship the Furon god "Arkvoodle of the sacred crotch",(that's seriously his name. lol) and pleasing Arkvoodle statues to unlock landing zones. All in all this is a great game for anyone who liked the first.

Destroy All Humans! 2 is the sequel to the widely acclaimed hit! The irreverent sci-fi action to the Swinging Sixties with new and improved game features, open-world gameplay and co-op multiplayer. Go back to the days of Free Love, the Cold War and other 60's era icons. Use an upgraded arsenal of weapons and enhanced mental abilities to battle a variety of enemies from secret agents and giant creatures, to Soviet Forces and alien warriors. Turn the tables on traditional sci-fi action games by playingthe Alien and taking on the most feared enemy in the galaxy -- mankind.

(ehh)

(NOT backward compatible for Xbox 360)

(X-Men Legend)

(Microsoft does it again!)

(Fun)
The graphics look like they are from Playstation 1. The combat system amounts to a whole lot of button mashing. The camera angles are really annoying. For some ridiculous reason the game designers thought they needed to show you where all the enemies are just before you get to them.
Fun multiplayer game with a great mix of heroes and villains to choose from. I had played it on PS2 a few years back and bought it again recently to play with my boyfriend, since both of us are Marvel fans.
My only major complaint is not backward compatible for Xbox 360.
I hadn't had any problems with any of the previous original Xbox games I had bought to play on my Xbox 360, until I bought X-men Legends and Legends II. Niether games are backward compatible with Xbox 360.
My 360 informed me to check Xbox.com/games for an updated list of playable original Xbox games, which hasn't been updated since November 2007. I doubt they ever will update it. Next time I buy an original Xbox game, it will have to be one of the following backward compatible games:

I ordered the game for my son and his dad, they seem to be enjoying the game and it works well but I am concerned that my son was able to go onto the website and order the game using my information when he thought I had not ordered it. I have talked to him about not ordering anything without my permission, but what can I do so that no one else gets a hold of my information and uses it in the same fashion my son was able to?
Microsoft strikes again! Amazon had this game for $20 cheaper for X-Box than PS2... so I bought the X-Box version. What idiot wouldn't? Well as it turns out I'm the idiot! Microsoft has struck again, as this game is NOT and I repeat NOT supported on X-Box 360, which is probably why it's so much cheaper than the PS2 version on this fine site. My 360 informed me to check Microsoft's site for an update list of playable X-Box games... which hasn't been updated since November 2007.

Bill Gates... you owe me $8.

Lots of fun. Lots of Menu time but lots of fun. I would say this is more fun than the first X-Men.

(Freezes on XBox360)

(Great Game!!)

(wee)

(Awesome Game)

(Fine for a rainy day)
This game might work okay on XBox, but it freezes up on XBox 360 when battling Bad Bessie even though it is supposed to be compatible. There is supposed away around this but it is very hard to do.....stay away from Bessie and kill her at the same time. Yea right........
This game is sooooooooo addicting. The fighting is so fun and the endless amount of guns makes it that much more fun. Def. a great buy!
Another short game made insanely monotonous and thoroughly boring due to limited ability to save games. Actual new play is pretty limited, but you will play the same scenes over and over and over again because you are set so far back each time you die. For the more dimwitted player, this will make the game seem longer than it is. Add to that some of the most unrealistic enemies in a western genre (like the half naked fat guy that runs right up to you to blow you and him up with dynamite) and you have a pretty pointless waste of time. If you have no need for originality or creativity, buy this game now.
This game is a must have for xbox owners especially at such a low price now. Its one of my top 3 favorite games of all time. Story mode is challenging and well written. The multiplayer also sets this game apart. Shouldn't be rated M the violence isn't too graphic.
As a long-time fan of Westerns and good shootin' games, for years I was stuck (tho' the more accurate term would be "blessed") with the PC classic OUTLAWS, from back in the day when the LucasArts logo meant consistent excellence (then, apparently, everything "Lucas" suffered karmic payback for his ham-fisted degradation of his own STAR WARS movies). OUTLAWS was not only a great Western game, it's one of the finest examples of a first person shooter action game ever produced. Epic Spaghetti Western style, rich novelistic and immersive story, exciting gameplay, raucous multiplayer with an active online community and a wealth of available mods, a musical score evoking Ennio Morricone and worth listening to all on its own (which you could do, with two full CDs of playable tracks)...magnificent.

Now, in possession of a gaming console for the first time (an Xbox 360, also magnificent), I'm getting to catch up on a lot of games I couldn't play on PC. The latest is RED DEAD REVOLVER, Rockstar Games' attempt at an epic Spaghetti Western.

First, I want to say the game is a hell of a lot of fun. Its emphasis is on action, and it does action well. Some of the levels are pure adrenalin (one that springs instantly to mind in that context has you engaging hordes of enemy soldiers and cannons as you and a handful of men try to blow up a contested bridge). The weapons are satisfying to use, there's a nice cover mechanic allowing you to snipe the bad guys from behind walls and trees and such, and the enemies have enough AI to usually not seem dim as a bush (like some virtual foes or recent world leaders).

The multiplayer is good fun, with a huge cast of gunslingers and a fair variety of locales to choose from.

The game's graphics are overall very good, especially the environments, though the character designs are largely hideous, even clownish. OUTLAWS was done in a cartoonish style, and was many generations of graphics quality in the past, yet its character designs evoke living beings far more than RED DEAD's do.

The worst thing graphically in the game is the bubbling cartoon gouts of gore that fountain out when you shoot somebody. They look silly, they're not true to the genre, and they all by themselves probably gave the game its M rating. A toggle to turn them off would have been nice.

The music's pretty good, and is largely lifted, I think, from movies. One piece I often heard and enjoyed in town is the theme from the comic Spaghetti Western THEY CALL ME TRINITY. It's still pretty paltry in comparison to the OUTLAWS score, and it's a shame that, choosing to use actual pieces from Western movies, they didn't choose or didn't have available to them better pieces (TRINITY aside). Some MAGNIFICENT SEVEN theme, some THE GOOD, THE BAD,&THE UGLY, hell even some BONANZA or WILD WILD WEST would have been a lot more effective and a lot more fun.

The voice work is mostly terrible. It's one of those games that sounds like the designers brought in their buddies and relatives to do voices, made even worse by the embarrassing attempts at dialect.

All the above still adds up to a pretty good game, in spite of the flaws. Heck, even with the weaknesses I cite above, the game could have still risen to greatness had it not been for its fatal flaws...

Lack of immersion. You play a bounty hunter named Red for most of the game, and he's carved from Clint-East wood, but aside from a pretty good visual design (which is saying a lot for this game) and a laconic line delivery, you get none of the actual dimensions of an Eastwood character, or really any character at all. Red has no personality, his motivation (vengeance) is overt but muted and lacking any sense of passion or urgency. Part of this is because there are levels where you don't play Red, playing instead one of various sidekick heroes and, in one instance, one of the villains. Playing the others is actually a good deal of fun, and some their levels are among the most enjoyable in the game (allowing for various styles of play that aren't available as Red), but in a short game with a weakly developed protagonist, these levels put the player at even more distance from identifying with Red. Were the game twice as long, and more immersive overall, these levels would have no downside.

Another factor that dilutes immersion is the clunky use of cut-scenes WITHIN action sequences. You'll be blazing away at a pack of scoundrels and suddenly get torn from the flow of battle by a cut scene showing what the developers must have thought a crucial story element within the battle...then you stumble back into the action, get your mojo back a bit, and another blasted cut scene will pop up. The worst level for this is the one in which you play English pistoleer Jack Swift, which could have been a pure adrenalin delight were it not for all the interruptions.

But the worst flaw in the game is what I'll charitably call its story.

You could say RED DEAD REVOLVER is episodic, but it's episodic the way a game of PAC MAN is episodic. The story is barely there, and the game is mostly just a series of levels putting the player in some action set piece in a tightly defined environment (no sprawling wild West to be found here, only small battlegrounds), each ending with a boss fight. As a boy, Red sees his family killed. Then, next level, he's a man and, we soon find out, a bounty hunter, and he lands in the town of Brimstone (population: 8 or so, each citizen possessing a paragraph or so of exposition that you have to click-to-interact over and over to get each line of) where he can shop and get jobs. For a good part of the game, nothing is really said about Red being on any sort of hunt for the folks who did his folks in, he just goes on various unrelated bounty hunts, and there seems to not actually be a story. After a while, though, he gets to start going after outlaws directly connected to his (subtle) mission of vengeance, and we see that there's a narrative of sorts here, but it's a story the way a single black spit is a full spittoon. In other words, it ain't. The story has no tension, Red seems pretty casual about his burning mission of vengeance, and the game plays like an action-filled arcade game. By the time you take down the big boss, you're satisfied not because you've gotten Red's revenge, or because the game really made you hate the villain, but because he was pretty tough to beat and took a few tries.

Still, as I said initially, for what it is, RED DEAD REVOLVER is a lot of fun. Had I paid full price for it, I'd have felt mightily ripped off, but since it's on old Xbox game you can get it for peanuts (I got it for $8), and it's certainly worth buying for cheap or a rental. So if you have an Xbox or Xbox 360 and want a break from WW II, outer space, Tolkien rip-offs, or playing urban street trash, you might want to give it a shot.

Red Dead Revolver takes you back to a time before you could spray opponents with gunfire and watch them fall. In this Old West shooter, a quick draw and a sharp eye are your best weapons, as you live out a classic tale of revenge. Great 4-person multiplayer deathmatch game for even wilder shootouts, in the Wild West!

(Don't Play Without A SmartJoy Frag!)

(Excellent Co-Op)

(Pretty intense)

(Best "Vietnam" war game yet!)
This game arrived propmtly and was as described- Thank you and would buy from you again!!
This game is tough. Even on the easy setting. There are no cheat codes to the XBox version of the game. I am not one of those people online who you can never touch in a DM or any other type of online match. In fact, I usually end up with the highest number of deaths before the round is over. I don't have good reflexes and being able to properly aim at someone moving and jumping around in a microsecond is near impossible for me. Shoot, I have a hard enough time as it is with the VC in this game who stand still and take a few rounds from me.

Although there are checkpoints in certain levels of the game, you cannot save your progress. When you turn your XBox console off after having saved a checkpoint in the game, you will have to restart the entire level all over again. This is annoying, and it can cause a novice player such as myself to become frustrated and give up easily. Sometimes you have to sit through an in-game video before you can play. But at least you can move your mouse to look around when the in-game video is playing, and it doesn't take away from the gameplay since most of the vids don't really last that long. The key word for this game is patience. I have to make sure I drink plenty of water and have enough protein in me before playing this game so I don't get frustrated with myself when I run out of respawns and have to start the level over from the beginning (the maximum number of times you can respawn your character from the most recent saved checkpoint is 12, so don't die too quickly if it can be helped). This game is hard, but it's worth trudging through. I also like the weapons. The storyline alone is worth it, not to mention the laugh-fest I have when I hear the things the Viet Cong yells out to me and my virtual squadmates. At first, I had to put the game on pause so I wouldn't get shot while laughing.

I have been playing computer games using a keyboard and mouse since 1997 with the release of Quake II, so I'm not at all accustomed to using a controller which is rather foreign to me. That being said, it is a lot easier (for me, anyway) to play Men of Valor with a PS/2 (Not Playstation 2) keyboard and mouse combo, which is where the SmartJoy Frag comes in. I am not an experienced console gamer, so when I use the SmartJoy Frag for the XBox, I actually forget that I'm playing this game on a console rather than a PC, and I spend my energy taking the enemy down and enjoying the game instead of re-training my brain to use a five year old controller that I have never wanted or needed in the first place. I'm sure that by this time most of the people who have an XBox are quite accustomed to using the XBox controller, even for first person shooter games like Men of Valor, but I am not one of those people, and I would not have been able to get through the first level were it not for the SJF. Just make sure your keyboard and mouse are both PS2, not USB. I will never go back to using a standard console controller (wired of wireless) for an FPS.

My Sister&I (both females) love this game and have played it several times. We are always looking for coop games to play together especially military games. We love the different levels, shooting (especially-sniper shooting), sneaking around and general mayhem. I would definately recommend this game to anyone. It's a must buy.
If you are into war games or shooters, then definitely try this game out. It's a blast to play. I am only several missions into the game so far but am having a great time. I do not recommend this game to children, though, due to the foul language used quite freqently so far in it. I put this game in and started playing it with my nephew and I had to turn it off b/c of the cursing in it. However, the multiplayer aspect was quite fun for my nephew and i due to the fact that there is no talking..only hunting each other to see who can take who out! lol You have absolutely no idea where each other are so it makes it quite fun trying to hide and stalk to find the other and it's really cool when they have no idea you have them in your sights and then "boom"! you got'em! lol cool!
It is!
Its better than Conflict:Vietnam,ShellShock and BATTLEFIELD:VietNam.
Its the most fun not to mention the best realism, best graphics and visuals.
if you own an XBox this will be the top Vietnam war game.If you own a PS2-probably Conflict,a gamecube-Uhh Conflict?
i own all three systems-MOV is best.
