I love that you are able to control your team, so they play like idiots. They have made just as many kills as I have and you can count on them to have your back. I also like the fact that your teamates let you know the position of enemy paintballers. You can customise your own guy buy upgrading his marker, armor, goggles ect. The graphics are pretty good and controlling is extremly simple and easy to use. I would recomend this game to anyone who loves paintball and can't get out to the field every day. I thought this game would be good, especially with the "Platinum Hits" plastered on it. The gameplay changed drastically! Maybe because now it's in 3D, it seems less entertaining. And you run around collecting these weird fruits to access portals to free Mudokons. Worst part: SOUND. I don't know if it's because the 360, but when you tell your little friends to follow you, or let one rip, hard, YOU CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING! Even with the music turned down, and turning the volume up, you can barely hear anything. I stopped playing mid-first level.』

(Return of the Gabbits.) 『MUNCH'S ODDYSEE is the first game in the Oddysee franchise that I have played. The first two games in the series were released on Playstation formats, but MUNCH'S ODDYSEE came out on X-Box and was one of the launch games of that system. I first played this game at a friend's house not long after it came out. I was fascinated by the amazing graphics and having different characters in the world literally follow the main characters around. It wasn't until recently, however, that I was able to get the game myself and play it all the way through.
MUNCH'S ODDYSEE is the third game in the Oddworld series. If you're like me and have never played any of the other games in the series, that's okay because there's a movie at the beginning of the game that explains Abe's adventures in the first two games and the connection between Abe's race, the Mudokon's, and Gabe's race, the Gabbits. Munch is the last living Gabbit, but is captured by the evil Vykkers, a race of creatures bent on domination, consumerism, industrialism, and environmental destruction. Munch is taken captive and one of the early levels of MUNCH'S ODDYSEE involves helping Munch escape from the Vykker's labs' ship. Once Abe and Munch meet up, the general storyline of the game involves getting back to the Vykker's Labs ship to rescue the egg crates full of Mudokon young and save the last can of Gabbit eggs in existence.
The graphics in the game are amazing. It feels and looks like you are playing a movie. This shouldn't come as a surprise because the Oddworld series was originally conceived as a set of films. However, the company, Oddworld Inhabitants, started making video games instead. Oddworld Inhabitants has gone back to their original plans and the first Oddworld movie is apparently in production.
As for game play, MUNCH'S ODDYSEE is simple enough that even most beginning gamers can play along fairly easily, yet the game has enough challenges to make it interesting enough for life-long gamers. The game is fun to play and appeals to children and young adults, but has enough humor and oddity to appeal that it appeals to older gamers, too. Now that I've experienced Oddworld, I'm looking forward to the cinematic tales Oddworld Inhabitants will bring.』

Gameplay: Neither Abe nor Munch can defend themselves without hassling others to help them. They can fart and chant to make green fruit grow, that's about all they can do by themselves. Munch waddles and pathetically hops, making him a total loser. The levels are complicated, confusing, slow, convuluted and annoying.
Music: Minimalistic, but that's a good thing, considering you'll hear it again and again as you struggle to get out of each level.
I can't grasp how, even five years ago, someone could find this fun to any stretch. I got this for 2 bucks, and it's horrible! Thank God I traded it back in at another store for the same $ in store credit. Don't worry, there's still time to return your copy. Play Mario or Sonic instead: they blow this crap out of the water!

Several of the game's best puzzles get the player so caught up in their conventions that they overlook much simpler solutions.
This curious world seems totally believable through the power of Xbox. The mountains, water, caves, and factories in this foreign world are extremely detailed and lifelike. The in-game cutscenes are comparable to Pixar movies. Although the Oddworld games for the PlayStation had spot-on personality and gameplay, the Xbox has truly brought the developers' visions to life.

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (used to be my favorite game back in the day *works for xbox 360*) 『back in the day in 2004 i played this alot on the ps2 making parks at someone elses house, i used to creat parks and goals, which were my 2 main things, i used to make these interesting parks using up all 10 goals alot of the time, sometimes replicating mario levels or old tony hawk levels. i spent some time in december 2003 playing the game on the xbox and this game is what made me like the xbox. i only had the gamecube at the time so in September 2003 a couple of people knew i liked the game and got me it after i went through surgery. the gamecube versions graphics are kind of bad, there were some minor visual glitches in create a park, but its minor visual quirks did not keep me from enjoying it.
now i just got this game for the xbox cause i own the xbox 360 and it works fine, the loading screen is not there anymore so as it loads, the previous screen freezes and a few seconds later it goes to the next screen, it only does this if theres a time when it needs to load for example, story mode and create a park etc basically anything where it needs to load a level, the loading times are exactly the same so if you see it freeze after you choose to load a level it is because it is just loading. it was rumored that there will be occasional problems with getting off and on the board when played on the xbox 360, i have tested this issue and so far have not seen anything wrong with it.
you can save up to 75 different files on one storage device provided that you have enough blocks on your storage device. assuming that you are using an xbox 360 if you are using a hard drive and it is old, it might be wise to backup your saves on a memory unit. cause i heard the xbox 360 hard drive lasts for about 3 years.』

(All Hail GRIT) 『First and for most...BEST GAME EVER for xbox live play. This game was so good on SO many levels. The single player campaign was fun...not insanely great, but fun...."ghost recon fun." This is one of those games that is truly addicting and, in its day, got plenty of Xbox Live play. This game was actually the reason I signed up for an Xbox Live account, and without it, who knows what I'd be playing today.
Okay, so, in its time, this game had pretty good graphics. You look back at them now and they don't look too hot, but when it first came out it was awesome. Other than that, I think the best thing about this game was its multiplayer aspects. Not only were the maps great, but all the different modes of play were great. I remember when this game was popular, SO many people played it, and it was obvious why. Another great thing about this game is the fact that it is a very tactical shooter and not so run and gun like most FPS games out on the market today. Overall, this game is great and even today it stands up as a great shooter. If more people played on Live (well, any at all) I think I might find myself playing this game quite a bit!
9.0 Presentation This game was presented very well. The menus were very easy to use and were pretty clean cut and simple - GREAT! Doing things like joining games and checking friends list was never a hassle.
8.0 Graphics Back when this game came out, the graphics of this game were very good. I think if I were judging the graphics in todays world, I would score them pretty low, because, obviously, they don't stand up.
7.0 Sound The sound effects and music in the game were good. They seemed to fit the game and mood and were good in its time. Overall...pretty good!
9.0 Gameplay This game played SO well and the fact that it stayed "tactical" makes it even better. I loved the gameplay over Xbox Live and its multiplayer aspects were fantastic.
10 Lasting Appeal In its day, this game was played SO much that it definately had lasting appeal. I "over"played this game until the day GR2 came out (which wasn't that great) and finally Halo 2 took over my life!!!』
(Trouble in Paradise) 『Island Thunder is an excellent release that should be considered if you're trying to hunt down some intense Ghost Recon action for your Xbox. With a mix of weapons and maps from three other games, Island Thunder delivers the variety missing from the original.
IT plays much like the original. Translation: running around in wide open areas is nothing less than asking to be shot in the head. IT rewards patience, strategic thinking. Careful planning is a must when facing human opponents or more advanced AI. IT also includes more weapon sets and maps for multiplayer competition, significantly expanding the possible game play combinations: you can be playing in a Cuban city one minute, the jungle the next minute, and in the desert the next. Learning to effectively manage your squads can take time to master, but it is very rewarding once you manage to adeptly execute your plans.
Island Thunder's graphics have not had any noticeable upgrades from last year's release. What about sound? IT features some of the best ambient sounds and sound effects of any game, hands down. The variety of locations that are featured in this game equates to an even greater breadth of ear-candy to be had than in the original, which was already an impressive audio feast.
While Island Thunder features a good deal of new content as well as the latest Xbox LIVE functionality, it might not offer enough to appeal to gamers who are still actively playing the original. IT is definitely geared towards LIVE online play, despite the fair campaign mode. Players without a LIVE account might find that there is not enough in the stand-alone single player portion of the game to warrant a purchase. But for anyone looking for a great tactical shooter, you can't go wrong with Island Thunder. This title is also backwards compatible with the Xbox 360. 』 『Welcome to Cuba in the year 2009. The characters are lifelike and stick to the movie; one complaint I have is the camera is fixed so you can't see enemies approaching in certain areas. But that's just nitpicky. Overall, The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge is a MUST for game fans.』
(Soul Robber!) 『If you are a fan of the movie, then this game is for you. The storyline sticks to the movie and you'll see all of the main characters pop up at one point or another. Gameplay is fun and can be challenging at times with a mixture of fighting and puzzle solving. The game is straightforward and flows smoothly from one scenario to the next.
There are a few flaws in the game though, that really detract from the gameplay overall. The music, also (for the most part) from the movie, can be a bit repetitive as can the character comments. The camera is fixed so you are not able to look around, which can be a bit frustrating at times, especially when the scenery is blocking the action.
You can agitate enemies to gain bonus points by slapping the soul robber (the main weapon) to the ground, this is a huge flaw because the camera zooms in on Jack and you can't see anything around him, which usually leads to a swipe or two from an enemy. Use of the soul robber also ilicits an announcement of "Soul Robber!" EVERY SINGLE TIME you use it, which is just stupid if you ask me and quite irritating. Also, the soul robber could have some more combo attacks since it is the weapon of choice throughout the game. The other character costumes, which come with other powers are used primarily for specific tasks and the soul robber can't be used with either alternate character form so you're stuck flame throwing (until your red souls quickly run out) or tossing presents and screeching "Merry Christmas" at everyone, which also has limited effect. The graphics are good but can be grainy in spots.
The voice work is excellent, with most of the original cast from the movie lending a hand. Being familiar with the original movie pays off with some trivia games thrown into the puzzle mix. (Good, Especially If You Don't Own Melee) 『For what it is, an update of Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, it is really good. You have more monsters and even some mini games during gameplay and you can play games seperately. When it comes to the overall gameplay, monster selection and minigames, this game has Melee beat.
The monsters that were on Melee are here along with a host of others that weren't. Baragon, Space Godzilla, and Jet Jaguar among others have been added to this game and it is great. The minigames are also fun. From destroying cities to saving buildings from invading aliens, the game offers a lot in the fun area.
The only real bad thing about this game is that it is basically a rehash of the story that was in Melee. This is the sequel. Overall, this game is really worth getting, especially if you don't have the Gamecube game. The sad thing is that this was originally supposed to have a deep story, but it was cut due to time restraints. Oh well, I guess a sequel to Melee is better than nothing at all.』

(More like "Orga Rules!") 『Here is a little bit about some of the monsters in this game... 1.Godzilla 2000 7/8 Godzilla 2000 is a powerful opponent, but of course he is no match for Orga. 2.Space Godzilla 7/8 Space Godzilla would score higher if only it did not take him so long to recharge his energy attacks (and wasn`t so slow). 3.Mecha King Ghidorah 7/8 Mecha King Ghidorah is so fast using one attack after another, he sometimes gets annoying to play as. 4.Mothra 7/8 Mothra is unfortunetely a rather weak monster as an adult but as a larva she can just fight the opponent until she gets low health, then turn into an adult and usually she can easily defeat the already-damaged opponent. 5.King Ghidorah 6/8 King Ghidorah has good air and energy attacks, but if he is still recharging while on the ground, he is easy to defeat. 6.Mechagodzilla 3 6/8 Mechagodzilla 3 has great energy attacks, but lacks the power of using them enough. 7.Jet Jaguar Jet Jaguar stinks with energy attacks, but his normal attacks are suprisingly good... Anyway, as my title says Orga rules in this game and the other kaiju include Destroyah, Gigan, Megalon, Rodan, Anguirus, Megaguirus, Mechagodzilla 2, Moguera 2 and Baragon.』

(THE CLASSICS ARE BACK! or are they?) 『I still remember Christmas 1977 when I first received my Atari 2600, it seems just like yesterday... When the Atari made it's way into the 80's everyone seemed to have one. I remember staying up all hours of the night to play these classic games with friends. The Silver Cartrige Age and Atari Comic Books were now popular, and I remember seeing the ads for all the new classic games. I even had the silver jacket with Atari on the back when I was twelve. Then in 1984, too many games, and so little time... Then the crash, and then in 1985 Nintendo came about. For the next two decades we saw several systems come and go. Then the PC era for video games, and now we have the retro age. Now my kids are playing on the Playstation II the Atari Anthology, we still keep up with the times. Yes, the Atari games have "out of date graphics" but they are fun to play over and over again. The Atari Anthology and Activision Anthology really do bring back the "good ol' days", but I feel several titles were left out... For instance: Space Invaders, Superman, Joust, Jungle Hunt, Pheonix, Defender, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Galaxian, and others... The Only way to make EVERYONE happy is to release ATARI ANTHOLOGY II and complete the true collection!!!』

Game play is great, -only the actual arcade versions suffer from weird aspect ratio and resolution quality problems. You can resolve the aspect problems by resizing the screen in options. The resolution appears fuzzy on certain vector based classics like "Tempest", "Black Widow" etc. 』

This is just an AMAZING deal - you get over 80 complete, original games in the pack. I am in my 30s and haven't played many of these games since I was a teenager. Yet when I jumped into the Adventure game, I immediately knew all the maps, where to find the keys, were the dragons would be lurking. Playing Yar's Revenge, I became hooked for quite a while, remembering all the techniques to win the game. Somehow my brain has been hard wired to remember these things, and it's really cool to go back to a game now and say "Wow, I had TONS of fun with that!"

In addition to all the Atari console games, you also get the original arcade games like Battlezone. I was a HUGE battlezone fan, driving my tank around and seeking out the enemy. It is so much fun to be able to play it at home!
It is just astounding that they fit all these games onto one CD. I used to scrimp and save for weeks to get just one cartridge! I would have thought it was a miracle back then to be handed 80 of them in a box and told "here, have fun". I would have played for years on end.
Sure, the graphics are old-style. You get blocks of color without much detail. Even on a big screen TV, it's sometimes hard to figure out what the maps are telling you. But that is part of the charm, of course. Lunar Lander is just as much fun now as it was then. Hangman doesn't need good graphics, nor does chess. Those mind games are a challenge no matter what they look like.
I really don't see a downside here. You pay one price for that CD and you literally could play for years. Each game is complete. There are games for every age group, for every gamer type. It really does prove that in the end, a great game isn't about sound or graphics. It's all about the design.
