Another thing is that my men would just walk right through walls that I could not find my way around.

Featuring a great story of a boy who grows up to become a hero (or perhaps villain, depending on the choices you make), the game is made up of many quests that will raise your renown, as well as decide how others look at you. You can live honorably, or choose a darker path...it's all up to you. And it's all determined by the choices you make in the game how the characters in the game will react to you....
On top of such things as weapons and armor, your hero can change his hairstyle and even get tattoos, which all change his appearance in the game. He can even get married (to multiple women); buy houses that he can live in or rent out for extra income; eat, drink, and get drunk; and even kick chickens, which will vary in distance. What the relevance of some of these features are, I'm not sure, but it is all there should you choose to make use of it, which I feel really adds to the true depth of this game.
The game also continues after you complete the storyline, allowing you to play on and enjoy its great world even after you've won. I feel this feature was a rather fun addition, though I didn't play on for too long after completing it. I gave up on it when I got a copy of Fable: the Lost Chapters, which is said to have a lot of new features. I have yet to complete the latter version, though, so I am doing a review for the original version first. But, despite which version you go with, you really can't go wrong with this game. It is by far one of the true highlight games for the XBOX.』
(Good game, details need refining) 『This was my first fantasy/role-playing game, and I bought it after watching a friend play the new version for xbox 360. In general, I was very impressed...gameplay is really smooth and intuitive, and the missions are well-designed. There are truly an amazing number of way in which your character can interact with the world: trading for profit, becoming a thief, marrying various women, becoming a landlord, etc. I have several minor complaints. 1) There are too few official side-missions. It's tough to gain the experience and money necessary to buy the upgrades you want. 2) Total game time is fairly short, even if you do all the side missions and spend some time in the world. We're talking about 10-15 days of game time, which amounted to maybe 15-20 hours(?) of playing time. And once you finish the game, you can't return to the world for more interactions. 3) It's tough to rack up time in the game, which can be necessary for collecting rent from your property, letting grudges with the townspeople heal, etc. All said, I really like this game, and would not hesitate to buy it again. It has excellent re-play value. I'm playing it through the second time now, making sure to take my time playing the missions, to make sure that I get all I can out of the amazing world they have designed.』 『Fable Xbox』

(Mech Assault) 『'Mech Assault' is one of the best games I own for the original Microsoft Xbox console. The gameplay is action packed and addictive: lasting about seven to eight hours for the first time player. The battle mechs look awesome and each one delivers its own unique, and much impressive, weapon arsenal. As you progress further on into the game, it unlocks better and more upgraded battle mechs that can enflict heavier damage towards enemy mechs. The controls are not hard to use due to the fact that there isn't a whole lot of button mashing that is required. It doesn't take long at all to get comfortable with controlling your battle mech. The graphics 'Mech Assault' has is unbelievably detailed. The explosions that come from defeated enemy mechs look awesome and almost realistic. The sound fx in this game are really well done. The heavy metal background music sounds great and justifyingly intensifies the battle sequences. The voice acting sounds very professionaly well done: standing out in both the excellent cutscenes and while your actually playing the game. 'Mech Assault' delivers a convincing storyline that brings up quite a few entertaining moments. It really helps add suspense: driving you to play all the way to the last level in as few gameplay hours as possible. 'Mech Assault' is, without a doubt, a game that has stood the test of time due to the fact it was one of the most successful titles for the original Xbox. To this day, I still play it quite often on my spare time. I also own 'Mech Assault 2: Lone Wolf'. It is just as good, and better in a few ways, than it's predecessor.』

(Giant Robots are awesome!) 『If you're a long time fan of Mechwarrior and were thrilled to see this title hit Xbox like I was, I think you were pleasantly surprised upon playing this! Now I'm not as die hard a follower of the Mechwarrior titles as some people and I've only played a few here and there including Mechcommander 2. I think some people who were really into the PC version of this game will be slightly disappointed in a few things. The control and views of the Mech are a little dumbed down for the users; I think this has more to do with controller limitations because there's no keyboard. The second major difference is you can only use in game stock Mechs during the campaign. You can't customize any of them unfortunately. However, if you can get over these changes I think you will still have fun with the game.
I felt like Mechassault had a bit more of a cogent story line than some of the other Mechwarrior titles. In Mechassault you are playing the role of a member of the Wolf Dragoons and you've been commissioned to infiltrate a planet controlled by the Word of Blake. For some reason I never felt like I had this precise of a purpose in Mechwarrior game before. The campaign mode is pretty much a solo mission where you have to do everything on your own; unfortunately you don't get any help from another group of Dragoons, even though you hear about reports of them fighting in other parts of the planet. The new stock Mech designs are actually pretty cool along with some old favorites and I did like using most of them. The favorite Mech called the Atlas is available in this game as well, but I found myself using the Timberwolf a lot when I played this game through a second time. Although, I think I favored the MadCat IV my first time through and I outright hate the Summoner. You do get lots of Mechs to choose from so I'm sure any Mechwarrior can find their favored machine to use. Unfortunately there are a couple missions where you are forced to fight with a specific Mech, this is alright because it's only for like two missions worth.
The graphics and environment are quite awesome. The graphics are pretty comparable to the Mechwarrior IV game for the PC. While I have seen better graphics on other Xbox games, I felt these were decent enough for Mechassault. The environment you get to interact with is really awesome though. You can destroy anything to your hearts little desire. Even though you're trying to save the people of the planet from the Word of Blake faction... you can still destroy all their houses and cities in the process! One major downfall of this game is the saving function. There is no mid-mission save ability. If you do not complete the mission you fail and thus have to restart the mission. This is incredibly annoying if the mission is kind of long. This happened to me a couple times; I made it to the final part of the mission to essentially fight the boss Mech and was destroyed at the very last part. I had to restart the mission in order to get back to where I left off which took another hour of game play. While I'm not complaining about a game being challenging, I'm complaining that as a user I don't have save options which is really annoying not to have.
Overall I think this game was quite a lot of fun with a better story line to follow as well. There are a few things I would change here and there, but they are technically minor over all. I've enjoyed Mechs and Battletech stuff ever since I was a little kid, being able to enjoy this on Xbox was a lot of fun for me. I have to spend a lot of time in front of a computer for my job, so being able to have this in a console format when I don't want to play a computer game was great fun!』

He loves sports games but he has fun on this game because it lets him pick classes and take exams. It's a lot more than just sports, it has many college activities to do. A video game that lets them use their brain.』
(Much improved) 『As a fan of this series of titles, I looked forward to playing the latest edition. The last one I bought was 2005.
There are many improvements to the gameplay which make it more enjoyable, such as being able to see which audible you're calling during the game and more options to do during the off-season. The recruiting aspect is also much improved. Also, the more successful you are, the more influence you'll have over your star players leaving early or staying on for another year.
However, unless I am wrong, they have taken out the play mode where you got to play the biggest plays in history; such as doug Flutie's Hail Mary in the last seconds of the game agains Miami. These were always fun to play.
They've added (atleast since the 2005 edition) an option of creating your own player and getting him through college. You have to do well in the drills and the better you do, the better the school that will offer you a scholarship. Part of being a player is balancing academics, social and practice. The academics are not all that challenging and you can choose from pretty much any subject, including college football. This is interesting but at the end of the day I find myself playing dynasty more than anything else.
The AI is also "smarter" as in previous editions, there was always one or two plays you could call and you were sure to get big yardage every time. Not so in this game, you do have to mix up the play calling and depending on your settings, the AI will shut down your offense.
A good aspect is the "momentum" factor. Sack the QB, run a big play, and the momentum goes in your favor and your team will be playing better. Lose that momentum and you're more likely to fumble or to drop a pass.
Some downsides:
As I said, the "Big play" part of the game is gone. I thought surely, I'd get to play Boise State against Oklahoma from last year but nope.
Some of the aspects of game don't make sense. I've played 5 seasons with Auburn and have won 4 Heismans with Wide Receivers and not the QB's, maybe they've tweaked the Heisman voting a bit too much. And as for Auburn...are we ever going to have the real Auburn fight song in the game or not????? This is Auburn, not some formerly 1AA team whom nobody has ever heard of. Okay, a petty gripe but come on!
In order to even compete for the Heisman, you are forced to run up the score, which I don't like.
There are some other minor things but there will never be a perfect game.
Overall, this is a much improved version of the NCAA Football game series. Yes, the season is over and we're in the bowl games but the good thing about this game is that you aren't confined to one season, you can play for as long as you want.

(It's ok i guess, The master levels mostly suck!) 『Just so that you know, Doom 3 is better, this add-on does not really add anything new besides the super shotgun and the new demon artifact. The biggest gameplay difference between Doom 3 and ROE is the the new demon artifact give you new powers that you can use after each new boss enemy has been slain, those powers include FEAR style slow motion mode, not being able to lose health, and inflicting super high amount of damage. However, the artifact and the other weapons besides the super shotgun are not as useful as in the pc verion. The reason for that is that in the pc version you can switch between weapons without problems and thus you can select "the weapon for any given situation". But in the Xbox version you have to press a button on the controller over and over to get to the weapon that you want to use, and that takes time so you could as well just use the super shotgun and kill your enemy's that way instead of wasting time scrolling between weapons. And trust me, this REALLY does make the pc version better! The super shotgun also damages the weapon balance, sine it is more or less the best gun in the game there is no real reason not to use it unless you don't have any more ammo for it. The levels look more or less the same as those in Doom 3 with a few differences. There are some new enemy's but they just feel like new version of older Doom 3 enemy's not counting the final boss. There also aren't many scary moment's like there were in Doom 3 and that's also a very bad thing. Then we have the extras, i bough the Doom 3 collectors edition that came with bonus features that included interviews, concept are, and most importantly the old original Doom games: The Ultimate Doom and Doom 2. The extra features in ROE only includes the Ultimate Doom and Doom 2 plus the Doom 2 master levels, no new interviews or concept arts are included. The Doom 2 master levels were not created by it itself, instead they contain maps that were created by the Doom mapping community and considered good enough by ID to be released as a Id software product, i have only taken a look at about 1/4 of those levels, and thus far.......the more or less SUCK!!!
And since i have been playing fan made Doom/Doom 2 maps for years on the PC i know what a good community made map/level looks like, and the Master levels just don't add all that much to the Xbox classic Doom experience since they are not good at all, i mean why did they not decide to include Final Doom instead? It's not as good as the Original Doom but still a billion times better then the Master levels.
Overall, i would say that this is a solid Doom 3 add-on for Doom 3 on the xbox, there is nothing really new here, it's just more of the same, also the game is very short and can probably be beaten in only one or two sittings. But if you really want more Doom 3 on the Xbox then go ahead and buy this, it's really cheap these day's anyways since the game has gotten old, you can probably find it in a bargain bin. Overall, i will give this game 3/5 stars.』

I needed something to fill a space gap until my next game came out so I gave it a try. Overall, I was surprised. All the characters have their own thing going throughout the game which was fun to eavesdrop from time to time. Although the land itself, the campgrounds and the asylum, weren't very big, they made up for it with extra effort in everyone's mind. No two brains are alike and it's kind of fun sorting out peoples emotional baggage and looking for past memories. I found several of the brain worlds entertaining and the stories were a nice touch. I'm not going to ruin anything so I'll leave it at that. It's a nice change from the other games I play and worth buying. If you ever get stuck, remember to use your bacon.』

Play as Raz, and hop from mind to mind in order to save your new friends. I must say that when I first played this game I did not expect the variation that I found in each of the minds. One of my favorites, The "Milkman Conspiracy," is the type of experience that you can't describe and can't get in any other game. My absolute favorite mind is that of Edgar, the artist. Upon first seeing Edgars "Black Velvetopia" I was awe struck. The amount of work that goes into the creativity and outright beauty of these stages is dumbfounding. Even today, there aren't really that many gamesthat take what they do to a new level like psychonauts did.
Now, the controls are also of note. Moving and fighting as Raz is very intuitive. The only problem I had was deciding just how I wanted to map my abilities, seeing as how they give you free reign in that as well. The number of abilities you can unlock, and the pace at which you unlock them is perfect. The ability to dodge when locked on is a great addition, even if I didn't find myself using it all that much. Another very thoughtful addition is the ability to use "smelling salts" to pull your character out of another characters mind at any time. The characters and voice acting are zany. Boyd Cooper and Lily have to be my favorite characters. Boyd for his outright insanity, and Lily for her pint-size vitriol. This game has some of the best acting I have seen in any game I have played, and hands down the most memorable. I find myself playing it over and over just to see the appearance of "The Milkman" again. Yeah, play and find out. This game alone has given me faith in Double Fine's upcoming ode to metal, Brutal Legend.
Psychonauts has becoming even more available for enjoyment with its addition to Xbox lives Games On Demand, so now you have no excuse. Buy Psychonauts, now. I, personally, got my copy used, and not digitally. However, I see no reason for this game to be skipped, even in 2009. Get it, and say hello to The Milkman for me. Watch out for the bottles.』

I had the displeasure of going into the level "We don't go to Ravenclaw" or whatever it's called, and you're basically in an abandoned town at night with mentally handicapped people screaming at you "Let go of me!!" while you throw saw blades at everyone.
If you're getting sick and tired of the evil crap put out there in the media, don't trot in this excrement. Bad, bad, bad. They couldn't have made that level any worse than it is, and I probably even had a psychosis as a result of playing enough of it!』

(Amazing. Gaming Excellence) 『First off let me say I didn't play this on the Xbox. I played it on PC and I recommend you do as well if you can because I heard the loading times on the Xbox are really long. Now onto the game itself:
Being the sequel to an FPS classic that won over 50 game of the year awards let's admit it, Half-Life 2 had some huge shoes to fill. In my opinion, Half-Life 2 is the most underrated FPS out there. What I mean is, despite huge critic praise and the winning of massive amounts of awards, including 38 game of the year awards, I run into people all of the time who STILL haven't played this game!!! And I'm talking FPS fans like me! Here it is, three years later and I still run into them. I don't get it. You could play this game now and it still has solid enough technology to keep up with the newest games in today's market. You won't believe this came out three years ago when you play it!The physics are incredible, the graphics are top-notch and the levels are a blast!

Never have we felt the need to jump on the Guitar Hero/Rock Band wagon until this beauty entered our homes.
My husband nor I are guitar or instrument-fluent players. We are your average XBOX 360, Nintendo DS&Wii players that enjoy games that keep us entertained and keeps our competitive streaks satisfied. Once out of the box, the orange color stands out and it does suit the guitar. If the stand is purchased, one may just walk by this "toy" and believe that it is real. I am not sure how it compares to a traditional guitar in weight/size, but to my untrained eye/hand it looks and feels real. It has a wonderful weight and the strum bar is SILENT. That seems to have been an issue with the buttons clickety/clacking on the plastic guitars. The tune pegs on the top actually rotate 360 degrees making the guitar even more realistic. It was a pleasant surprise to actually see that the head stock (top of guitar) and fingerboard (where the buttons are)backing is made of wood. This makes the hefty price tag just a bit more bearable... only a bit though!
One issue that I personally have is that the whammy bar is right near the strum bar. I have heard endlessly that the proper way to "rock out" is while standing... but I love to "rock out" from the comfort of my couch with the guitar laying on my thighs. This position causes me to constantly hit the whammy bar while strumming. The other only issue that I feel is the fact that the price tag is very hefty and just too high for an add-on to a game. I can understand how the companies feel that it is necessary because of the quality construction but at the end of the day this is a toy for a video game. Compatibility is not an issue and even though the guitar is advertised for Guitar Hero it works just fine with the Rock Band series.
Highly recommend for true fans of the Guitar Hero&Rock Band series respectively and for the niche market that wants to really feel like they are playing a true guitar; for those individuals this is the perfect high-end toy with countless&endless hours of fun.』
(Great guitar but not perfect) 『I was super excited to get this guitar since our current GH World Tour guitar was on the fritz. Upon receiving it, I must say that it was very well packaged. No need to worry about any thing being broken while in transit. The guitar itself is very well made and feels almost like the real thing. It works very well with all Guitar Hero games and is also compatible with the Rock Band ones as well.
Here are the cons though. My 13 year old loves the GH and Rock Band series but finds this very heavy, so it's not that perfect for the younger ones who love to play. The fret buttons are the same size as the GH buttons but are spaced more apart so it's more difficult for those with smaller fingers to play. The placement of the star power button is not where you'd expect it to be but if you usually tilt your guitar for star power then that shouldn't be a problem.
Besides the cons above, I'd say this is a great guitar for adults. For the kids I'd stick with the plastic models that come with the game series.』
(Rock Out) 『200 bucks for a fake guitar? What!
That was my first thought (one that I think can be easily overcome by how nice this guitar is) but the next hurdle is a tough one (it's orange, no, it's bright orange, I'm overcome by the sheer orangeness of it).
That said, the important question is... is it worth it?
Short answer? It depends.
It is easily the best fake guitar you can get right now (if you can overlook the orangeness!)
Also (one huge plus) I must mention the battery life, I've used this guitar for possibly 60-80 hours and still using the same battery.
I have a real guitar (ESP Kirk Hammit) and the fact that this is a real weight and real feeling guitar, I could not be happier with this aspect (though it may turn some off).
If this were a real guitar, I would say "It plays fast", meaning the fret notes are very easy to hit, smooth like butter. Easily the best feeling you can get with a fake guitar.
The strum bar is nice (but NOT silent), and the whammy rocks.
Cons:
It's somewhat of an indulgence due to its price (but if you play 10 hours a month, it comes out to about 2 dollars an hour for the fun, if that's worth it to you, than sure, grab it).
If you play 10 hours a week, that's over 500 hours a year and less than 50 cents an hour (which means you SHOULD buy it). We all know how bad a fake plastic guitar is and how long they last (if you have kids good luck having it last over a year or two).
The BIGGEST con of course is that the xbox version is BRIGHT ORANGE! BRIGHT ORANGE! lol
You'll get over it (somewhat).
Pros:
Best Fake guitar. I even put a real guitar strap on it (Planet Waves Rock Star).
Feels real (the weight of it is to be appreciated).
Responsive (rarely do I miss a note with this thing, it is just so smooth, and very hard to go back to using the super light fake plastic guitar (GHWT or RB2).
Looks Amazing (aside from the ORANGENESS) from the nice maple neck to the very nicely done bridge. this thing just looks real. I also love the d-pad.
This thing just makes playing these games all the better. If something happened to mine I'd buy it again (and hope and pray a black version comes out or someone figures out a way to get rid of the orangeness!)
What Would Be Cool? If the buttons had an option where you could work on building your calluses while playing guitar hero (so you can play your real guitar).
Also (as an aside) yes this guitar works on guitar hero and rock band (I've played every game quite thoroughly with this guitar and they all work flawlessly).
Do check it out (obviously if you only play rock band or guitar hero 3 hours every 3 months, this is not for you, but if you play every weekend or a couple hours a day, do get it, it makes it that much more fun.)』

No it feels like you're holding a real guitar. This is probably helped by the fact that it's made of wood and generally is a well built product.
I tried it with Guitar Hero and found that it responded well to the game and had no issues with playing. The little buttons midway through that are kind of pressed in I found no use for but I guess other people may find them to be useful.
It's a shame they didn't make real buttons at the bottom for base use in Rockband but I guess this really was built with Guitar Hero in mind so it's not a huge deal.
It's a quality guitar and works fairly well.』

I strongly believe that this deserves the five stars because as far as action, explosion effects, destruction and graphics, this game beats any Grand Theft Auto game any day. Having all of the Grand Theft Auto games on Xbox, I can tell you that Mercenaries beats it hands down entertainment wise. The explosions are actually more realistic than anything I've played or seen so far on the 360. Though the game may seem focused on the just OK storyline, there is plenty to do in other places, like blowing stuff up, go on the "side-quests" and do other things like stacking helicopters or whatever else. In the end, it is really more of a sandbox game, rather than a story-based thierd-person-shooter, and it should therefore be treated as such. I have yet to get bored of the game after playing it for 20 or more hours. Whatever you may think after reading this far, trust me, the game has plenty to offer as a sandbox-style game. If you are looking for an endlessly-entertaining sandbox game that has incredible explosion effects and intense action, look no further. After all, it is an incredible value at only twenty dollars.』
(Not much more that you can ask for) 『Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction 8.5/10 Not any glaring weaknesess in the game other than the slight repetitiveness. It's allways a "go do this" contract but since each contract presents a diffirent challenge, it doesn't get old very quick.
It's a very fun third-person shooter, with a fairly wide aray of weapons and vehicles to use (but none of the vehicles are particularly outstanding). One of the highlights of the game: the explosions are AMAZING!!! I'm someone who easily sees explosions as tacky or poorly done or animated, but these are top-notch and very satisfying.
The free-roaming aspect makes it nice if you just want to go look for a fight or some free weapons or "health" that someone left lying around. I personally love the storyline, but the general consensus is that it's just a B+ plot.
There's not very many things that you can point to to say that it's a great game, but the fact that it's very well-balanced and has few weak points makes it very enjoyable. 』

You work several different factions, or countries, like the Russian Mafia, China, Allies, South Korea and North Korea. You work each one against the other, without getting yourself killed in the middle. in the meanwhile, you are working on a "Deck Of 52" cards, 52 of the most wanted dictators and drug cartel.
