As usual, Amazon delivered the product in record time and in excellent, brand new condition. I too am concerned with the Amazon warranty, which only covers problems with the movement - hence the four stars instead of five. If Amazon offered a more comprehensive warranty, it would earn five stars.』

(Great watch for a great price) 『I can't claim to be a connoisseur of fine watches but I'm very impressed by this Tag. My first Tag was actually a fake given to me by a friend, which died shortly after being taken waterskiing. This new watch is certainly of better quality and feels like it is built for water sports. I feel very confident that this Formula 1 could survive just about anything thrown at it.
The one thing that really surprised me is how well it fits. I have small wrists and had to remove a number of links in order to find an appropriate length. I was concerned that it may appear too large since I'm accustomed to wearing smaller Bulovas and the like. Such fears were unfounded; in fact, I believe it would look good on all but the smallest of wrists. Just stop by a fine jewelry store to try it on, though you may have a heart attack after seeing how much they're asking for the same watch. I think Macy's had a sticker listing it at $1,200.
Another surprise was just how classy the red background is. I wanted a watch of superior quality, which is why I chose a Tag, and also wanted something that would stand out a little, which is why I chose the red one. My plan was to wear it strictly on the motorcycle or while skiing. That plan was destroyed when I tried it on with a suit. The Formula 1 did not clash with what I was wearing at all. I think I am much happier with this color than anything else I could've gotten (white and black just seems boring now). I'll admit it's flashy and that's what drew me towards it. Even so, most people will have few regrets getting this.
Other than the one reviewer who had an unfortunate run-in with a defective watch, the Tag Heuer name speaks for itself. The chain is solid without being too hefty, the sapphire crystal seems un-damageable, and the styling is subtle but still noticeable. The chronometer feature is very cool and will, hopefully, impress anyone who takes the time to pay attention to it. I am more than happy with the Formula 1 from Amazon and will never buy another cheap watch again.』

I wear it in uniform (USAF) to meetings/gatherings, and out to bars/parties as well. To people with an eye for watches, it is always nice to get a compliment. I'm a big guy, and I'm used to my 48mm Citizen Skyhawk, so it is definitely a noticeable difference when I wear the Tag. BEWARE OF THE MOVEMENT!!
I'm glad I bought mine from a brick and mortar dealer and also bought the extended warranty. I had to send it to TAG for service 4 times for problems with the movement. The last time they returned it to me they actually replaced the entire insides of the watch.
I have a friend who had similar issues with his Formula 1 chronograph as well. They just sent him a completely new watch! The last time (5th time, mind you) that I sent the watch in for servicing was because the crown got stripped. It cost me over $130 since I was out of warranty.
I love the watch and it was my first "expensive/high-end" watch. I have been really disappointed with it. I really *do* love the style, though. It's really comfortable and still looks pretty new.』

The watch has a cheap feel to it. The bracelet feels hollow, and, as the other reviewer pointed out, the cheap clasp is difficult to work.
I do like the white dial, I find it easy to read in daylight. Low light is difficult, no light is better as the luminous hands and hour markers are done well.
My biggest disappointment is the size. Tag should have made this a 43 mm. Despite the description, this watch is 41 mm. And, the black bezel makes this watch appear smaller than it is. It is hard to describe, but on the wrist this watch plays like a 38 or 39 mm.
If you are looking just to have a Tag for the name alone, this watch is probably worth what you pay for it.
