Seeing the game cartridge in the store, locked behind a glass case with its beautiful box art and with a daunting price tag of around $80.00, I knew this game was a cut above the rest! And I was right.
To this day, I still haven't heard music from a video game that has transported me to another world quite like this music. I will also go on to say that this is some of the most amazing music that I have ever heard, from any era and style of music that has ever come out. My sincere gratitude to the composer of this music, Nobuo Uematsu.

All of the songs, except for the "Medley" track ( Track 24 ), are looped three times or more, depending on the length of the melody. Listening to the whole soundtrack all the way through is enjoyable and substantial; you have plenty of time to listen to each melody looped multiple times before it goes to the next song.
Cinematics / Interview DVD: This DVD contains all of the cinematics and cut scenes featured in FFIV DS along with interviews with Nobuo Uematsu and others. The interviews are in Japanese, so I have no idea what they are saying!
I hope you fall in love with this music like I have.
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Couldn't bear listening to it!) 『I listened to this CD one time, and after flipping through the tracks to see if there was something good, I painfully turned my cd player off and never listened to it again. This CD does no justice to the wonderful music composed by nobou umaetsu for the final fantasy series. You're better off listening to MIDIs of the music from the games than buying this CD. The vocals seemed to be very off, the instruments didn't sound real, and it sounded like someone made this cd in a couple of hours. I don't reccomend this CD to anyone unless you need a new frisbee!』
(Not horrible, but I've heard better) 『This CD isn't exactly the worst out there, but it has some points where it comes pretty close. Track one is good once you get used to it. At first it sounds sucky, but it gets better. The second one is about the same as the second half of the first one but is done with different instruments. The third one is absolutely horrible! Skip it at all costs! The Prelude could be better, mostly longer and with the crystal-like sound of FFVII and FFIV instead of the cheap piano keyboard. The opening theme could be done much better. Preferably like it was done in FF Generation S. It is way too short and doesn't have the punch like the other one. Cosmo Canyon was done pretty well, if not a little fast for the original pace. If they had slowed the tempo down a bit it would've been perfect. I personally didn't have any problems with the Shinra March, and it does have a catchy tune. The eighth one [was unacceptable]!!! Once again I refer to the FF Generation S. That was done 1000 percent better and didn't use cheap electronic synth vocals. The vocals aren't even understandable. The ninth track is pretty much the same as the second one of FF Generation S. The rest of the tracks I pretty much skip because they aren't worth the time. The choice of instruments is extremely cheap and the sound is unpleasent. In reality, I recommend FF Generation S over this one, but this one is good to listen to from time to time just as long as you are willing to deal with some of the garbage.』
(A great CD) 『This is a very good listen. The version of Liberi Fatali is significantly different from the one in the game, but it's still very fascinating. Many of the songs have been altered, but still are fun to listen to. A great CD, especially for the price!』
(The name "final fantasy" doesnt deserve to be put on this) 『...Yes. Why are the words "final fantasy" put on this? This Cd Absolutely stinks. the 1st track is okay, which is the only thing good. The Song "liberti Fatalli" STINKS. i expected it to sound like the Ost's version, but i was obviously WRONG! (There is definitely something else to the song htan Fa-su {which is reapeated over and over} ) SO DONT BUY IT! IT URTS YR EARS!!』
(Its ok) 『I love the Final Fantasy series. And when I bought this I found a simple arangement of music played by an orchestra. I was sumwhat dismayed by this. I wanted direct songs from the game played by the orginial players. But nevertheless you get what you pay for.』 タイトル『 Final Fantasy, Vol. 11 >
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (First Season Coming Out In UK in April) 『I love this entire series from season one to five. It is progressive in its nature and leaves you curious 'til the very end. I noticed that season 1 is being released in the UK on April 3 2006. It should not be long before it is available in the US and Canada. Season 2 will be hopefully not too far behind...』
Gracias.』
(Lots of interweaving complexity) 『Unfortunately, I never watched "Earth: Final Conflict" while it was being actively produced. With that in mind and the fact that the first and second season are still unavailable on DVD, I had a little bit of difficulty figuring out what was going on when first watching this third season DVD. With just two seasons already accomplished, the show had developed considerable backstory and several rich characters. The series takes place on Earth in the not-so-distant future after a race of aliens called the Taelons arrive with the promise of peace and cooperation. The Taelons are not as altruistic as they seem, and hide ulterior motives for contacting humanity. The central protagonists belong to an underground resistance seeking to expose the true agenda of the Taelons, which could reveal important information about the past and future evolution of the human race.
Season 3 ("No Refuge") continues the calamatous events of the second season cliffhanger finale in the episode "Crackdown". A series regular, marine captain Lili Marquette (Lisa Howard) departs to be replaced by the savvy corporate executive Rene Palmer (Jayne Heitmeyer). Liam Kincaid (Robert Leeshock) continues as the series' central protagonist with the Taelon leader Zo'or (Anita La Silva) and FBI special agent Ronald Sandoval (Von Flores) countering as the series' two deliciously evil villains. Leni Parker, David Hemblen and Richard Chevorellaeu also contribute as the enigmatic Da'an, corporate raider Jonathan Doors, and computer genius Augur, respectively. One of these three will also make a tragic exit toward the conclusion of the season (or did he truly die, see season 4).
I have read fans of the show criticizing the third season for wandering aimlessly among several different developing plots with no real sense of direction. Having viewed the third, fourth, and fifth seasons in their entirety, I do agree that this season lacked a certain coherence and fluidity with plotlines. However, several key events happened in these semi-standalone episodes that are crucial to following the show's continuing story to its ultimate conclusion in season 5. There are several memorable episodes this season, many of which ironically pertain to the fate of departed Lili Marquette ("Crackdown", "The Vanished", "In Memory", and "The Arrival"). There are also a few episodes with less than engaging stories.
Certainly, one of the most interesting aspects of this season is the delineation of the complicated relationships between different members of the Taelon race, particularly those between Da'an and Zo'or and between Zo'or and T'Than. Additionally, with the introduction of Rene Palmer, we see more of the inner workings, secrets, and conflicts within Jonathan Doors' corporate empire.
As for the DVD's themselves, the episodes were tranferred well and are beautiful to watch. This DVD set is the only one of the three seasons released thus far to have actual interviews with cast members in the extras section on the final disk.
I highly recommend purchasing this DVD set as well as the sets for the following fourth and fifth seasons. This was an excellent TV show, a worthy addition to the Roddenberry legacy! I look forward to the eventual release of the first and second seasons on DVD.』
(Gene Roddenberry does it again) 『This is Season 3 for those of you that don't know. The last two seasons (4 and 5) are available as well. However seasons 1 and 2 have yet to be released.
MY REVIEW:
I've finished the entire season, and wow. Brilliant sci-fi, simply brilliant. The music/soundtrack of the show is awesome. It's just so good. Plus the shows are all in beautiful animorphic widescreen, making them better than ever. Widescreen always adds a movie-like element to shows, which is quite intoxicating to be sure. The special effects are marvelous. This show is just great fun.
Personally I think the best seasons were Seasons 2, 3 and 4, what I like to call "The Liam Years". Liam is a great character, and an improvement on season one's Boone. Season 1 was of lower production quality as well. More money was put into later seasons. Plus these are the years with Zo'or, a spectacularly entertaining villain. He's the guy you love to hate. Sandoval is funny to watch because he clearly has trouble with english. Plus he's shorter than Liam making scenes with them together particularly amusing, especially when Sandoval is trying to exert his authority over him. I remember loving this show when it was on, and it was the character of Liam that drew me in. He's always looking around for spies in every one of his scenes, especially outdoor ones, which is hilarious. The character of Renee was introduced in the first episode of this set (Season 3). She's not who I would have cast for the part, she's just not quite right, but at least she's bearable (unlike the entire cast of Stargate SG1...ugh). Season 4 was another great season, however Season 5 was NOT. The wonderful characters you grew to love over the years, including Liam, Zo'or, and Da'an are gone. Renee is left to carry the show on her own, and well, it didn't take. In fact it was terrible. I will go so far to say that Season 5 was terrible. Just stick with Seasons 2 (when it comes out), 3 and 4, and pretend 5 never happened. (Season 1 was o.k., but Zo'or and Liam aren't in it yet, and they're great.)
As mentioned by another reviewer, there is no Closed-Captioning/Subtitles. A useful tool for trying to decifer unclear dialogue. Why would this be left out?
Also, there are no advanced menu screens on these discs, just the episodes basically. That is, no Scene Selection screens, no Sound Option screens, no nothing, just choose an episode and play it. But the chapters are placed nicely, including just after the opening theme (which is always convenient). However unlike most shows, the opening theme portion of EFC is done so well I want to watch it each time.
And I would have liked to see COMMENTARIES recorded for some shows, but no dice. At least there are some extras on the last disc though.
Another interesting thing to note is that a "Dolby Surround WHERE AVAILABLE" logo pops on the screen at the beginning of every episode just as it did on TV. This is clearly a mistake, something that wasn't removed. This, along with the above leads me to believe these sets were RUSHED into production. Rushed or not though, the picture and sound are top notch and that's what matters.
Great show. A well-earned 5 stars.』
(No English Subtitle) 『How come there is not even an English subtitle? Though it doesn't quite stand in the way of my understanding, it still almost drove me mad while I was watching. Many of my friends, who are also hot EFC fans, withdrew their decision of buying it when they knew there wasn't a subtitle. Not everyone's English(I mean people from non-English speaking countries like me) is good enough to understand the show without any means of assistance.』 『They have come to Earth with the promise of peace-an alien race called the Taelons. People call them "The Companions." Many see the Taelons as saviors of humankind. Indeed, they do help Earth to solve many pressing problems, such as famine and disease. But in this not-too-distant future, some are wary of the Taelons' motives and see a darker agenda. These few form the Resistance. With them lies the fate of humanity... and the future of Earth. Collects 22 episodes on 6 discs!

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Phase 6 of "Final Fantasy", a nice collection of anime.) 『I had to purchase the next phase to keep my collection going. Artwork getting better.』
(Interesting beginning, get more interesting moving forward, disappointing ending) 『I have been a Final Fantasy fan since version 1 of the game came out for the NES. I played through all the other FF games and loved each and one of them. Just because they are amazing developing games, it does not mean that they would do well developing movies or anime.
I got the movies through Netflix so I can watch them with my kids when I get home from work and relax. In the beginning of the story, it gave some scenes of war and destruction. The startoff was slow and have some mysteries like who is the adult woman hanging around with the two kids and who is the man with tha ma gun that always seems to show up when they are in trouble. It is very interesting to see what kind of summon comes out of the ma gun on pretty much every single episode, but the summoning takes like 10 minutes. Most of the creatures seems to be from FF7.
As the series go on, it reveal more information about some of the main characters. Toward the end, the plot is revealed but yet the end is disappointing because the watchers are wondered "what happened". It is like going to a roller coaster ride where right toward the end, it just stop and everybody get off.
I originally got the first DVD from the Block Buster bargain bin, and that should have been a flag that this is not really that good. Watch it if you have time to kill, otherwise you might be better off watching other anime like Full Metal Alchemists, Kenshin, etc.
』
(The Final Fatasy Games Maybe Great Bud Sadly This Anime Isn't) 『I bought this set during the X-mas sale online and for $20 dollars I felt it was an o.k. price but after seeing the series through I feel I'm now going to sale this to a movie store. I know the series focused mostly on the two children trying to find their parents but I also thought there would either be some cameos from characters of the games are have some references to the game worlds, sadly there was neither and the animation while not horrible wasn't anything to be proud of either. The voice actors for the Japanese cast did do a great job for their character roles sadly the dubbed English voice cast while not the worst of the lot leave a lot to be desired. Also again with some anime you just don't really feel any empathy for most of these characters, if one was killed or hurt so what? The storyline itself isn't to bad and if you've never played the games and are looking for a unique anime here's a decent one, but if you have played the game and are looking for some kid of reference to the games or game characters you'll be sadly disappointed. So at the end is this series worth getting will that's up to the person themselves, if you're looking for a fantasy anime with magical battles this might pique your interest, but if you're a longtime Fina Fantasy gamer you most likely want to just pass this series over....』
(Found It) 『I had been looking for this disc every where. I couldn't find it on any of the more famous anime vendor websites, nor could I find it in any of my local anime stores. I can't believe that I was able to find this Disc on amazon.com. I happened upon it by chance while searching for other Final Fantasy products and now this will be the first place I look if I ever need a DVD.』
(Don't look for the Game Series in this series...) 『I understand what people have been saying about it not being what they expected. Expectations greatly influence how we perceive products to be. However, this series is incredible. Though it is sometimes cheesy, it manages to have just that right amount to make it wonderful. The music is great, and the characters hilarious. There is not much in common with the FF game series, but when you take this as a separate whole, it doesn't matter. This series is fun, entertaining, appropriate for all ages, and great, as long as you aren't expecting another "Advent Children" out of this.』 『Twelve-year-old twins Ai and Yu Hayakawa take a mysterious subway to Wonderland to look for their missing scientist-parents. Wonderland is a hostile place, ruled by the petulant Earl Tyrant and his assorted hench-creatures. Ai and Yu are attacked by monsters and saved first by Lisa, a practitioner of the "Kigen Arts," then repeatedly by the taciturn, gun-totting Kaze. The first episodes are cluttered with characters who appear briefly then vanish. Although Ai, Yu, and Lisa do a lot of traveling, the series doesn't really go anywhere: the filmmakers seem more interested in showcasing the elaborate CG effects at their disposal than in coherent storytelling. The effects are very flashy, but they never meld satisfactorily with the drawn animation. Based on the popular videogame franchise,Unlimitedborrows from Matsumoto'sGalaxy Expressand Miyazawa'sGalactic Railroad, but offers none of their mystery and magic. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Season 5 : Stop the whining and understand the story. And Timeline.) 『The storyline for season five was set way back in season 2. When we discover that the Jaridian and taelons were once 1 race, the Atavus. The Atavus themselves had a civil war as is discovered in Season 5 episode Bad Genes. If you listen carefully you discover that millions of years ago, just prior to the Atavus coming to earth, Howlyn rebelled against his father, the ruler of their race and took those loyal to him, his wife and child to a new world, Earth, to set himself up as ruler. Like the Taelons and the Jaridians after them, they soon discovered that something about the earth was not allowing them to survive properly so they resorted to feeding on the life forces of Mamals (humans). After a few centuries the Atavus were forced into Stasis, and their Ship forced to land with its inhabitants forced into stasis by meteor showers and Earths collision with an asteroid. Which created an Ice Age (too cold for the Atavus).
Meanwhile back on the Atavus Homeworld, the Kimera Arrive and start messing with the Genetic make up of the Atavus. The Atavus rebel and almost force the Kimera into extinction. However the damage was done. The surviving Atavus flee their world and set up colonies. And then the Split occurs. Some Atavus become Taelons, shrugging of their emotional ties and with the aid of Kimera genetic manipulations become an entity composed of primarily energy. The other Atavus become Jaridians, Holding onto the passion for life and their Carbon based existence. The Jaridians like most carbon based life forms are born grow old and die. and have substantially shorter lives as apposed to their Cousins the Taelons who live for Centuries. The 2 species took seperate evolutionary paths. Making them totally incompatible.
Thanks to the Kimera the Energy cleaves that the Atuvus once had were replaced by the Shakarava, A inheritance gained from the genetic manipulations done by the Kimera. Whilst the Jaridians retained the ability to use Shakarava, the taelons in the quest for Spiritual perfection lost the use of the Shakarava which was primarily used by emotions and passion. Since the Taelons had no emotion or passion they could no longer use Shakarava.
With the Exception of those in stasis chambers on earth. There are now no wholey pure Atavus left in the universe. The Earth based Atuvus remain in stasis for millions of years. Until the end of season four which saw the merging of the Taelons and Jaridians. However this Merging failed and the energy reconstituted the Atavus. The Atavus then discover what has happened and try once again to rule earth.
Why 3 different Atavus ? The first Atavus seen in Season 2 was a purely Taelon Atavus. No Jaridian DNA at all. The Atavus in season 4 was a combinationi of Taelon and Jaridian, Since they were genitically linked to the Kimera they had Shakarava and looked different. The Season 4 Atavus is what happened to the Original Atavus (Season 5 Atavus) after the Kimera Genetic manipulation and that was what the Atavus looked like just before the Taelon and Jaridian split. The Season 5 Atavus are the Original Atavus. This is what they looked like before the comming of the Kimera. since there was no genetic manipulation by the Kimera these original Atavus do not posess shakarava. Instead they have energy Cleaves on their fingers. Which essentially was a defensive tool much like the claws of a Cat. However Howlyn and his followers used it offensively to feed of sentient life force. They did not need to do this on their home world.
If you look closely at the Atavus you can see they share a similar bone structure to both Taelon and Jaridian. It is also learned that due to the obsession Howlyn had with the visit of Renee Palmer to the pre-historic past which he rulled. He spent the years before going into stasis genetically modifying Humans in an effort to quickly bring about Renee Palmer. (isn't this exactly what the Kimera did to his species ..?) funny how irony works.
Anyway the story is there if you look hard enough for the links. and it is a flow on story. There is only so much information that can fit into a 45min episode. if every episode was 2 - 3 hours long then maybe more of the story would have been explained. but enough of the story is there for anyone with a good mind can fill in the obvious missing pieces.
So do not beat down Season 5 it has it merits and leaves open at the end for an entire new series. (the search for the original Atavus home world...?) Following Clues left behind by ancient Jaridian and Taelons? So many possibilities to continue the story. Maybe see a resurgence of Taelons and Jaridians? who know.. Anyway Enjoy it it is a good end to a great series. And ignore the negativity of a few feeble minded people without much imagination and forsight to read a little deeper into the overall picture.
I hope my explanation above brings forth some enlightenment.』
(Seasons 1&2) 『Really don't know how to rate this item. I purchased Seasons 3,4,&5 a couple of years ago, but haven't even watched them yet, because I was waiting for Seasons 1&2 to come out. Does anyone know if they are out or if they are coming out? It kind of stinks if not. I'd rather watch it from the beginning, or I wasted money buying 3,4,&5.』
(Renee The Atavus Slayer) 『This is what the show should have been re-named, "Renee The Atavus Slayer", because all the story lines are basically the same thing: Renee trying to hunt down and kill these vampire-like aliens (similar to Buffy The Vampire Slayer). So many things about this season didn't even make sense I don't know where to begin, but one which I thought was pretty obvious is: how does the Taelon mothership manage to stay in orbit for a whole year if it had no core energy left and it got nuked? At the end of Season 4 we are told the ship is in a decaying orbit, which means it should be crashing into the atmosphere sometime soon.』
(EFC) 『Earth final conflict was one of my favourite shows on TV, and even I must admit that something went terrible wrong in the way, a clear example of that is the last season: the acting is extremely poor, you can't even buy the Taelon act because is too cheesy, the Atavus are a terrible replacement for the Taelons and even the main characters look tired and acting just because they get paid for that. I definitely don't recommend this set box if you are a hard core fan, the fourth season was a lot better and still has that spark that made the show interesting on early seasons. 』
(SI FI) 『is a great show but I dont own it unless amazon gets it in I will not buy from another person the person I bought from gave me trouble. but if amazon get it in then I will own all the seasons. tks. untill Amazon gets it in wait , it worth the wait and its a great series. tks』 『GOOD CONDITION, WILL SHIP FAST!!』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Cloud Strife, the one and only Cloud you'll ever need) 『So how many Cloud Strife toys/figures have you seen? I've lost counting so many years ago.
First of all I just want to say that this is THE Cloud figure I've been waiting for. No more action figures that easily breaks or poor Clouds which looks more like any other anime characters you've seen a million times. Like many other FFVII I can easily see the resemblance between the video game ver. and the toys. And I'll make a damn point that this is as good as you can get (compared to Cloud from the original 1998 game). The statue itself is wonderful. In my eyes it looks way better in real life than on the internet. It's static (hello?) which means that it won't move an inch, which is great since Cloud's pose brings back the nostalgia which everyone loves and remembers.
There aren't that much to say besides about the static figure. It's very detailed, it's made of the good old poly and the surroundings looks just as if it was popped from the memorable Aerith's church. Now, many of "big" FF fans have or will order the MASTERPIECE ARTS ver. of both Cloud (FFVII AC) and/or Sephiroth (FFVII AC) ver. But to sound (maybe) a little crazy that I do prefer the static arts ver. of Cloud and Sephiroth., not because they're twice as cheap (well yeah that too), but because I simply love the original FFVII. I do also recommend the Sephiroth ver.
All in all Cloud looks bad ass! 5/5』 『

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (The best FFIII guide I have ever own) 『This guide really reminds me my childhood. I had this book When I was 13 but I lost it. It helped me out playing FFIII and also enhanced my English skills since I'm Spanish native speaker xD.
The guide is very clear and easy to understand. Every section is well explained. By the way, it has good drawings of the FFIII characters like on the original SNES users guide.』
(More Like a Story Than a Strategy Guide) 『If you're looking for a guide with a lot of meat (maps, charts, boss strategies, etc.), you won't find it in this book. This book's primary appeal is the narrative style that Peter Olafson employs. Parts of the guide read more like a story than a strategy guide. Although it is generally well-written, I would have given it a higher rating if it had combined Olafson's narrative with more traditional strategy guide content.』
(as for the story) 『When I was a child, my uncle, who was 19 at the time, was playing "Final Fantasy 3" back when we numbered the Final Fantasies improperly, and he had this book. Before I even played the game, I read it. Then I read it again. And I read it again. It felt like a novel. Aside from the obvious intent of being a game strategy guide, parts of the prose is fantastic, and Olafson gleans so much from the story - theme, character, bits of dialogue that on first glance you wouldn't notice bearing as much meaning as they do in many of the scenes. Olafson doesn't get everything right. He can't. He tells what he knows, and what he knows, seems less to be gaming and more to be literary. I would get into arguments when "Final Fantasy 7" came out - which is better, Seven or Six, and I would argue Six, although Seven at the time had the best graphics there were (ugh) and thrilled me with its own story. But I had gotten something out of Six, with the help from Olafson, nobody looking at it briefly could. I don't think I can think of Six without thinking of this book. That may be bad. But it's an incredible story in my memory nonetheless.』
(A review) 『The book talks like a person would and tells you many things that will help you throughout the game. This book tells you who does what and what attarck and it is a good walkthrough』
(Best-selling novel: FF3 strategy guide. (Should've been.)) 『This is, without a doubt, the best game guide I have ever read. It is so smooth and well-written that it reads like a novel, and it quickly became my favorite book when I started reading it. My friend let me borrow the game, and I was uninterested at first, but the guide added so much to it that I kept it and ended up buying it from him. That's what makes a good strategy guide, I think. It sure made this one good.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (SECRET OF MANA -- NOW WITH MORE POLISH!) 『SECRET OF MANA was a pretty good game with a few glaring flaws. The pointless "weapon charging" system, magic-leveling system and the fact that your characters had a habit of getting snagged on just about everything.
SEIKEN DENSETSU 3 fixed ALL of that . . . and more.
So between the two, which SECRET OF MANA is the best? Read on . . .
PROS:
--You start the game with one of six characters. Depending who you pick will determine locations/events later on in the game. --You can move around INDEPENDENTLY of your other two characters. NO MORE GETTING SNAGGED! --Characters learn up to three Techniques for their weapons, which can be activated when so many hits have been achieved. --Magic and abilities are learned/increased by increasing your stats--no more magic-grinding! --Cleaner inventory system --Class-changing system adds a nice level of variety. --While very cliche, the storyline is more complex than its predecessor. --Decent music. Sometimes even good. --SD3 has MUCH better graphics. Very heavy use of Mode 7 both on the overworld and during battles.
CONS:
--Very repetitive. This is what I would call a "By-the-Numbers RPG". First you have to gain the powers of the 8 Guardian Spirits which are scattered all over. Then you have to defeat the 8 God-Beasts. And then you have to fight 2 or 3 enemies you've already fought before, only stronger this time around. --The music is not as good as SOM. Some of the tracks are absolutely terrible, like the redundant tinkling sound that repeats every few seconds in the icy part of the world. --The storyline is very cliche at times. --Like SOM, expect to do LOTS of grinding to build your levels. --One common denominator I've noticed in FF6, FF7 and CT is the inclusion of MINI-GAMES. FF6 had the opera scene and the strategic battles where you took turns moving your groups of characters around. FF7 had snowboarding, Chocobo-racing and also a strategic game. CT had the futuristic Bike Race and the festival events. SEIKEN DENSETSU 3 has no mini-games, which means that formula of "go-here, fight through the lesser-enemies, fight boss" gets old and repetitive.
OVERALL: If you liked SECRET OF MANA then I'm pretty sure you'll like this game even more! If you are looking for something as great as FINAL FANTASY 6 or CHRONO TRIGGER you might find that this game falls a little bit short, but still worth playing.』
(This game is godly) 『Unfortunately, we don't seem to have any copies right now.
But, if you liked Secret of Mana- or indeed, any Mana game- you will adore this title. You must get it. It compels you. It has incredible replay value for its time, it has a moderately linear plotline that differs for each character, it has the ability to form your own permanent party. It's an incredible game I guarantee you will love for years and years.』 『Game made for Super Famicon (Japanese Super Nintendo Equivalent), but playable on US Super Nintendos with an adapter.
Sequel to Squaresoft's Secret of Mana.

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Awesome game!) 『I think this game is amazing. I have loved it since the first time I played it 12 years ago. There are a ton of characters that you can recriut to your rebel army and your castle will become more amazing with each one. I only wish the game were longer, but it's still hours of total entertainment!』
(Wonderful Game.) 『I spent hours and hours, weekend after weekend playing this game.
Lots of fun was had, and I want to play it again -- you should, too!』
(Suikoden) 『Suikoden is awesome and it's a classic.I love all the suikodens but this one is the one that got me hooked.Knowing that it's a classic...the graphics are going to be for when it was first released, other than that, the game is challenging, exciting and to me everything an rpg should be.If you like classic games this will be enjoyable!』
(A RPG Classic) 『Suikoden has always held a special place for me since the days of my youth. I still remember spending lazy afternoons adventuring through the land of The Scarlet Moon Empire. For one reason or another I never managed to secure my own copy but always thought back the great times I had playing the game. Realizing though that some things are better left to nostalgia I was weary of trying to relive those moments. Only recently, after 10 years apart did I finally cave in to my desires and purchase my own copy.
What I found was actually quite surprising. Time had actually been kind to Suikoden. Yes the graphics are primitive comparatively speaking with console graphics of modern day, however, the core of the game remains intact: an excellent storyline.
Not wanting to give too much away I'll keep the details on the story light. You play as the character Tir McDohl, son of one of the "Five Great Imperial Generals". Through a series of events Tir will find himself fighting against the Scarlet Moon Empire and his own father.
Along the way Tir will enlist the help of friends and enemies alike in a struggle against an Emperor who has lost his way. One of Suikoden's most unique features is that the player is given the ability to recruit up to 108 playable characters. While anyone versed in RPG mechanics might be daunted by the prospect of having to level such a large cast of characters, Suikoden actually makes the task easy and rewarding. Raising low-leveled characters to a status near the main party of characters literally takes minutes to accomplish.
Along the path to toppling the Empire the player will also be given the ability to centralize his "Liberation Army" at an abandoned castle. This introduces one of the more original ideas to Suikoden. As you recruit new characters and add them to your ranks your castle will be given various upgrades. Everything from new floors to murals, a spa and even an elevator. At the time of it's release Suikoden was one of a kind in offering such a level of customization on home consoles.
Combat mechanics consist of six party members battling up to six opponents at one time. Generally speaking combat in Suikoden is turn based although the game features other types of battles including one versus one duels and army versus army battles. None of these mechanics are ever a chore.
I recommend anyone who is a fan of the series to invest in game that launched sequels like Suikoden II and III. The original in many ways is superior to the sequels.
』
(Good game!) 『The story and the characters are both very good, there are some things in this game that can be quite annoying (you have to befriend a murderer to complete 108 Stars - WTF??), but overall this game is enjoyable.』 『As the son of decorated General Teo McDohl, you join the Imperial Guard when you father leaves to fight in the North. Disgusted by the Emperors corruption, you later leave the guard to join the Liberation Army. Now you travel the land searching for the 27 Runes of Truth and recruiting like-minded individuals to the cause. Along the way you will have to fight in three different styles of battle: normal, one-on-one, and war. See if you can bring justice to the world in SUIKODEN.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Only Xenosaga 1 was a greatest hits) 『The Xenosaga series was a overal letdown. The 1st Xenosaga had a great story and show a lot in this game alone with a promising future, when Xenosaga 2 came out is was a complete letdown. Not what anyone was expecting(in a bad way) when it came out and failed to live up to the originals name. Xenosaga 3 was a improvement over 2, showing better gameplay and storyline but still falls short of the original. The series went down hill and stayed there. Xenosaga 1 was the ONLY one to get GREATEST HITS, but there are few and far between to find. 』 『Contains the following games:
Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht
Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose
Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sprach Zarathustra』
