Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Pretty Good.) 『Overall, this was a good buy. My only complaint was that the piece "Melodies of Life" number 22 disc 4 was in Japanese, not English, and this was not made clear. But the rest of the music is good.』
(Reminds me of the good old times...Just beautiful..) 『I played FF IX in PlayStation 1 several years ago, and the game is still my best game ever. I am talking about the story and the musics of the game here. As other reviews said, the game has many emotions in it: sadness, happy, despair, hope and many other you can mention. This game is something that if you play it, even just once, you will never forget it for the rest of your life. And the songs and soundtracks in this collection bring you to the exact emotions that goes perfectly with every scene in the game.
Sadly, I don't have the 4 CDs collection yet, and so I can't really telling anything about the actual songs in the collection. But base on other reviews, I believe that this collection is going to be great. Regardless of some songs are missing in this collection, I wouldn't regret buying these 4 CDs because they got all the beautiful themes that I want to hear over and over again.
The song like Frontier Village Dali is one of my favorite. When ever I feel like longing for my first home in the country side, this song always brings me the good old memory about that place, just like in the game.
In my opinion, this FF IX soundtracks collection would be enough for me to remind myself of the good old times when I used to play this game all day long and never get out from my room...Just beautiful...』

(Yes, It Is Worth $75!) 『Ok...so the price Amazon claims isn't that reasonable, but I'd still pay that much for this CD. Final Fantasy IX has, in my opinion, the best music of the series, even if it may not be the best game. My favorite tracks are "A Place To Call Home" and "Not Alone," both off the first disc. The later tracks, like in all FF games, suffer from being mainly remixed versions of the first songs, which is why I gave it a 4 star rating. Still, if you're a fan of the Final Fantasy series, this is pretty much a must have. If you're having difficulty finding a copy, iTunes has all the FF music available now, which is where I got most of the songs I have now.』 『Japanese soundtrack for the popular video game. 110 tracks on 4 discs. Packaged in a standard double jewel case in a slipcase.』 『Comes in an opaque white case embossed with the outline of the game characters. Also includes the Japanese lyrics and music score sheet.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (worthless, thought i'd see horror not porn) 『this movie wasn't scary at all, except seeing how old the women look just 5 years out of college. there was one 'reunion' shot where there were some like 60 year old women, luckily they didn't show their breasts. plus, enough with the strangulation, horror movies don't have stranglers dressed like ninjas. i actually checked this out from the library and found myself wondering who does the movie selection for them. i probably would have liked it if i'd seen it on skinemax when i was like 15.』
(sequel = necessary) 『i heard they were coming out with the sequel soon which will be titled, "Oral Examination." supposed to be even better than the first!』
(probably the worst movie i ever seen in years) 『this movie is totall junk, bad act, bad plot, bad actress, even the nude and sex scenes are annoying. this tile should go directly go tho garbage can. keep your money and stay away from this crap.』
(What a DUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not waste your time!) 『This must be one of the worst movies this yr-poorly acted, terrible plot, lousy actors, and very perdictable. I admit I rented this movie to see some shots of Kari Wuhrer but I did not see any-just 5 other babes who could not act at all-this looked like a movie made by Playboy productions-plenty of bare breasted chicks but no substance. What was Kari Wuhrer doing in this flop? At least she can act somewhat but in this one she seemed way above the rest of the cast because even her below par performance was far better than anyone else. In addition there were no shots of her in this movie which added to the disappointment--don't try this movie-you will be very disappointed if you are a Kari Wuhrer fan-the fox did not show it at all----』
(FLUNKED WITH A CAPITAL F) 『Disjointed....predictable..derivative. Those are just a few of the adjectives I attach to this sub-par slasher flick. The director had these five"babes"so to speak, so he had to make sure they each got their nude scene accompanied by lounge lizard music. They caress their bodies, play with their boobies and do all kinds of stupid things, just to show off their anatomical gifts. It's so poorly done that it's not the least bit titillating, pardon the pun. Add to this that not one of the ladies can act (Debbie Rochon is as usual repulsive in her attempts). Kari Wuhrer and Brent Huff as the cops should be ashamed of themselves for participating in this quickie. The plot is as predictable as they come and the extra twists at the end are only good for snickers. If slasher films continue to degenerate into pablum like this clunker, the genre should be retired. R.I.P.』 『A secluded tropical hideaway becomes a serial killer's site for revenge when four beautiful girls arrive for their five-year college reunion of sorority sisters and succumb to gruesome murders, one by one. Now, it is up to two local police detectives to track down the killer before the next victim is killed, and they must figure out what dark secret ties the victims together.』

(Interesting beginning, get more interesting moving forward, disappointing ending) 『I have been a Final Fantasy fan since version 1 of the game came out for the NES. I played through all the other FF games and loved each and one of them. Just because they are amazing developing games, it does not mean that they would do well developing movies or anime.
I got the movies through Netflix so I can watch them with my kids when I get home from work and relax. In the beginning of the story, it gave some scenes of war and destruction. The startoff was slow and have some mysteries like who is the adult woman hanging around with the two kids and who is the man with tha ma gun that always seems to show up when they are in trouble. It is very interesting to see what kind of summon comes out of the ma gun on pretty much every single episode, but the summoning takes like 10 minutes. Most of the creatures seems to be from FF7.
As the series go on, it reveal more information about some of the main characters. Toward the end, the plot is revealed but yet the end is disappointing because the watchers are wondered "what happened". It is like going to a roller coaster ride where right toward the end, it just stop and everybody get off.
I originally got the first DVD from the Block Buster bargain bin, and that should have been a flag that this is not really that good. Watch it if you have time to kill, otherwise you might be better off watching other anime like Full Metal Alchemists, Kenshin, etc.

(The Final Fatasy Games Maybe Great Bud Sadly This Anime Isn't) 『I bought this set during the X-mas sale online and for $20 dollars I felt it was an o.k. price but after seeing the series through I feel I'm now going to sale this to a movie store. I know the series focused mostly on the two children trying to find their parents but I also thought there would either be some cameos from characters of the games are have some references to the game worlds, sadly there was neither and the animation while not horrible wasn't anything to be proud of either. The voice actors for the Japanese cast did do a great job for their character roles sadly the dubbed English voice cast while not the worst of the lot leave a lot to be desired. Also again with some anime you just don't really feel any empathy for most of these characters, if one was killed or hurt so what? The storyline itself isn't to bad and if you've never played the games and are looking for a unique anime here's a decent one, but if you have played the game and are looking for some kid of reference to the games or game characters you'll be sadly disappointed. So at the end is this series worth getting will that's up to the person themselves, if you're looking for a fantasy anime with magical battles this might pique your interest, but if you're a longtime Fina Fantasy gamer you most likely want to just pass this series over....』
(Found It) 『I had been looking for this disc every where. I couldn't find it on any of the more famous anime vendor websites, nor could I find it in any of my local anime stores. I can't believe that I was able to find this Disc on amazon.com. I happened upon it by chance while searching for other Final Fantasy products and now this will be the first place I look if I ever need a DVD.』
(Don't look for the Game Series in this series...) 『I understand what people have been saying about it not being what they expected. Expectations greatly influence how we perceive products to be. However, this series is incredible. Though it is sometimes cheesy, it manages to have just that right amount to make it wonderful. The music is great, and the characters hilarious. There is not much in common with the FF game series, but when you take this as a separate whole, it doesn't matter. This series is fun, entertaining, appropriate for all ages, and great, as long as you aren't expecting another "Advent Children" out of this.』 『Studio: Adv Films Release Date: 12/09/2003』 『Twelve-year-old twins Ai and Yu Hayakawa take a mysterious subway to Wonderland to look for their missing scientist-parents. Wonderland is a hostile place, ruled by the petulant Earl Tyrant and his assorted hench-creatures. Ai and Yu are attacked by monsters and saved first by Lisa, a practitioner of the "Kigen Arts," then repeatedly by the taciturn, gun-totting Kaze. The first episodes are cluttered with characters who appear briefly then vanish. Although Ai, Yu, and Lisa do a lot of traveling, the series doesn't really go anywhere: the filmmakers seem more interested in showcasing the elaborate CG effects at their disposal than in coherent storytelling. The effects are very flashy, but they never meld satisfactorily with the drawn animation. Based on the popular videogame franchise,Unlimitedborrows from Matsumoto'sGalaxy Expressand Miyazawa'sGalactic Railroad, but offers none of their mystery and magic. Judging by the 10 clunkers in this DVD set, it just may be. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Beautifully designed, although a little stiff) 『This figure is beautifully designed, excellent sculpting job, the paint is perfect right down to the highlights and different colors in the iris of the eyes. The face is fair, the hair very well done and overall the form's in perfect proportion to itself, although the second set of hands (bare) are a bit to big and clunky compared to her arms, so I just left the gloved set on (They look nicer). She's very poseable, although the joints seem quite stiff and I'm afraid any strong pressure might break them. Overall, she holds difficult positions very well. One draw back (At least for mine) is that her left knee doesn't bend. The joint looks like it's sealed itself to the rest of her leg and if I try to bend it, it's just stretching the plastic in the joint. This severely limits the poses I can put her in since that leg has to stay straight, but I'm not letting that affect my rating because I'm sure it's a 1 in a 100 fluke and it doesn't distract from the overall beauty of this figure. Also, she can't spread her legs very far, like in the picture on the box. I'm giving it a 3 for durability, due to several parts that could easily break. The pink ribbon on her arm could easily come off with a sharp jerk or tug, if a child got a good hold on her skirt it could come off as well since it isn't that thick. But overall, if your a Tifa fan, or just working on your FFVII collection, this is a must buy! She's beautifully detailed, right down to the zippers on her vest and bows on her pants. Despite the downplays, I'm thoroughly pleased and thrilled with this figure! I certainly look forward to collecting the others in this series!』
(FF Play arts Tifa) 『Pros: Very well articulated.
Cons: The figure I got had a strange cut in the hair on the right side which made a chunk of Tifa's hair slant off to the right behind her right arm. It doesn't look normal compared to the pictures of the figure online or on the box. I think this may just be a 1 out of many cases though. Also the paint on her lips seemed kinda sloppy. Compared to the other figures this one lacks in Quality control. I believe this to be a specific case though.
Other: Tifa should of came with 3 or 4 pairs of hands instead of the just two. AC Sephiroth comes with 3 pairs and his long sword so I don't see why Tifa only comes with 2 pairs of hands when she doesn't have a weapon. She should of came with a pair of gloved open hands just like Sephiroth. Harder to find online due to her popularity. Also seems higher priced then other figures even though she has no weapon.』
(Awesome Character, Pretty Good Action Figure) 『This action figure looks awesome and the quality is very good. However, she is not very flexible. The box shows pictures of the figure in several poses that just aren't possible for her to do. The most she can do is stand there and look tough. But i would still recommend it to any collector or Final Fantasy fan!』
(tifa lockhart action figure) 『I tried to buy this at Xmas time&it was out of stock. I waited&it became available just in time for my daughter's bday. She absolutely loves it..』
(Tifa: The Pretty and Powerful...but a little stiff.) 『This is a beautiful figure! I love her FFAC costume, and the detailing here is just great!
Like most FF figures, Tifa comes with an optional set of hands to give you variety in posing. One set for her is gloved and closed fist, one is bare open hand. Both go naturally with her fighting style.
A favorite female in the world of FF, I'd recommend this item as a wonderful addition to your collection, as it was to mine!
The one slight negative is that I don't find her flexible enough to achieve the poses that are seen on the box. Maybe I'm just too reluctant to stretch her out so far, in fear of breaking her joints, but she's pretty stiff and I'm not confident she'd survive it.
Still, even with the lesser options in posing, she looks great displayed and is absolutely worth the investment!』 『Imported from Japan! Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Frank Poole lost for a thousand years!) 『"Just as it says from the back of the book ,the moment i started reading it i could not put it down. Especially since i am a long time sci-fi affacionado .Started to follow this story at the cinema watching the movie 2010 when i was a kid! Immerse yourself like i did into this book and start coming up with your own images of technology and space adventure coming from this journey .Rediscover again the continuation of what happened to Frank Poole, what is he now discovering many years later and the ongoing mystery that surrounds the Monolith!"』
(Why couldn't Clark have left well enough alone?!) 『Not much to say that hasn't already been said. 2001: A Space Odyssey (the film) should have been the beginning and final chapter in this 'saga'. The movie was a classic enigma; the 'Mona Lisa' of cinema. Each viewer left with his own interpretation of "what the hell was all that about'? That was the fun, the mystery, the challenge of what the Odyssey presented to the individual viewer. To have it dragged out, ad infinitum, into a Star Wars wannabe, was just sad! 2001 Is still one of my all time favorite films. I was 17 when I saw it in CINERAMA in Montreal. I'm 60 now, and have watched the movie maybe 50 times. It still leaves me with the same chills and awe that it did the first time I saw it. Too bad it got dragged the the comercialism knot-hole! Kubrick must be rolling in his grave.』
(A uncharacteristically mediocre odyssey) 『Whilst 2001 has a certain mythical grandeur, and left the reader with a sense of awe and wonder, and is one of the greatest works of the twentieth century, Clarke's conclusion of the story one thousand years later is highly unimaginative and much more like 'standard' science fiction.
To those readers enthralled by 2001, and to some part, 2010, I strongly advise that you do not read 2061, and certainly not 3001, lest the wonderous illusion of the original story be shattered in an instant.』
(Weak) 『A weak ending to a great series. The sense of wonder was gone. Very little suspense and story. This is more Clarke's view of the future than it is a story about the future. Potentially interesting as an examination of Clarke's views on politics, but that's about it.』
(Not With a Bang but a Whimper...) 『I just finished this novel and was stunned that it was over...I kept waiting for something to happen and all of the sudden I was left looking at credits and commentary by Clarke.
I agree with others that this book should never have been published. I disagree that there is anything really interesting in it. None of the ideas are new, and most have been presented better in other books. The fact that it shares something with the movie "Independence Day" should be an indication that it isn't very good.
The story just plods along with no real focus or reason for being until near the end and then the solution is so matter of fact, and trivial that it just sucks the life out of the Odyssey series.
I would recommend passing on this book.』 『It began four million years ago when a gleaming black monolith cast its shadow on the stark African savanna *an inexplicable apparition that ignited the spark of human consciousness, transforming ape into man.
It continued at the dawn of the 21st century when an identical black monolith was excavated on the moon *propelling Dave Bowman and his deputy Frank Poole on a mission to Jupiter that ended in the mutiny of the supercomputer HAL.
Only Dave Bowman would survive to encounter a third, and far more massive monolith on Jupiter's moon Europa *and be forever transformed into the star child.
It is the world of 2001: A Space Odyssey. And now, the odyssey enters its perilous ultimate stage. In 3001, the human race, incredibly, has survived, yet lives in baffled fear of the trio of monoliths that dominate the solar system--until a ray of light beams forth from a totally unexpected source. The body of Frank Poole, believed dead for a thousand years, is recovered from the frozen reaches of the galaxy, restored to conscious life, and readied to resume the voyage that HAL abruptly terminated a thousand years back. He knows he cannot proceed until he reestablishes contact with Dave Bowman. But first he must fathom the terrifying truth of what Bowman *and HAL *have become inside the monolith.
In 3001: The Final Odyssey, Arthur C. Clarke brings the greatest and most successful science fiction series of all time to its magnificent, stunningly unforeseen conclusion. As we hurtle toward the new millennium in real time, Clarke brilliantly, daringly leaps one thousand years into the future to reveal a truth we are only now capable of comprehending. An epic masterpiece at once dazzlingly imaginative and grounded in scientific actuality, 3001 is a story that only Arthur C. Clarke could tell.
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Better Than The Alternative) 『PlayOnline was a service created by Square to give hints to players. It was designed originally for Final Fantasy X, but was first used for IX. Unfortunately, this means that the strategy guides frequently refer the reader to PlayOnline using keywords. While this was merely annoying at the time, PlayOnline as it once was ceased to exist long ago. This renders the Brady guide more or less useless because of its particularly frequent use of the service. The Piggyback version features fewer "keywords", and some of the information referred to in PlayOnline keyword boxes is covered elsewhere in the book. This strategy guide covers everything it should: sidequests, items, and all, but some of the sidequest rewards can only be viewed on PlayOnline. The PlayOnline boxes are still distracting, but all of the bases are covered, and the guide is actually useful.』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (The best RPG of the pre Game boy advance era) 『This was the greatest RPG ever made for the gameboy (yes even better than any lame Gameboy color RPG except Dragon warrior 3 was good but not better). It was good for it's time. Sometimes some of the lines the characters say can be cheesy but it was a classic. If you are big on old school hndhelds please get this game. you'll be happy you did.』
(With each new Legends game, it just gets better and better.) 『I remember really enjoying this game. The graphics are remarkably more in detail then the previous Legend games. Role-playing games have something in common which is you need a pen and paper to write down stuff people say to you. I don't remember writing a lot but you see a cave you cannot get to yet, then you would want to write down the grid; the number of squares across and down. Therefore, if you do that then you will not have to worry about it so much. I remember walking around sometimes going "where do I go" but here again if you look back at what people have said to you then you will be pointed in the right direction. I liked the game, for me the frustration level was rare. If you like older games then this will be a fun one for you』
(3-and-a-half-stars; nostalgia) 『Final Fantasy Legend III (part of the Saga series in Japan, billed as Final Fantasy in the U.S. to boost sales) is actually a decent game, despite dated Mode-7 graphics and cheesy pre-GBA sounds. It's a standard 4-person-party RPG that requires some tedious leveling, equipment upgrades, and several quests across a variety of settings. The storyline had a lot of potential, and while incomplete at parts, should leave you satisfied at the end.
Why the high rating for this ancient game? The game brings back a lot of memories of the old days. Is it worth playing now? If you own the game but never managed to play it, I suggest you do. If you can get a good used price, pick it up. Some of the tunes are catchy, and the gameplay is pretty smooth. Also, if you can't be bothered to upgrade your portable system to a Game Boy Advance, this is one of the best RPGs available on the Game Boy.』
(One of the best Game Boy RPGs ever) 『With the exception of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Final Fantasy Legends 2 and 3 were the best pre-Advance Game Boy RPGs ever made. The battle systems for both were slightly different from their big-screen brethren (especially as they were not technically in the Japanese Final Fantasy series, but from the SaGa series), but FF Legend 3 is fairly recognizable: Fight, Magic, and Item are all in place (though spells are bought and learned). Unlike in Legends 1 and 2, in Final Fantasy Legend 3, weapons are unbreakable and magic spells cost MPs, rather than simply being consumable items.
This is the first FF Legend game to feature characters with given names. The plot is also more cohesive, as progress is no longer from world to world but to different parts of the same world. In addition, the airship is the coolest airship in any of the Final Fantasy games; it attacks enemies, sells items, travels through various planes of existence, provides free healing, and more.
Graphics, music, and length are all extremely impressive given the game's age (released in 1990), and still largely hold up on the strength of the gameplay. Sunsoft's rerelease ensured the game's continuing availability, though it won't last forever; both this game and Legend 2 (as well as Legend 1, though it is weaker) are strongly recommended to console FF players searching for more proofs of SquareSoft's brilliance.
A final note: another of SunSoft's rereleased Squaresoft Gameboy Games, Final Fantasy Adventure, is actually in the Secret of Mana series. Thus, it resembles a Zelda game: enemies are encountered and fought on the main map, with no separate battle screen. It is a good game, but very different from the Legend series.』
(Good) 『It was a good game but a bit short for fans of Final Fantasy. Really it isn't even a FF game at all it is a different RPG but dubbed as being a FF game as it was in the US. I like to think of it as short but sweet.』
