Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (best by far -- if you can find it) 『Of the recent sets of Franck organ works, the differences are clear enough. Michael Murray is forthright but dull, while Jean Guillou is excitable but so oblivious to the letter of the score, especially in registrations, as to seem daft. Marie-Claire Alain's performances display her trademark combination of reverence and alertness and she is superbly recorded on the Cavaille-Coll organ of St. Etienne de Caen. It is by far the best set out there...but that's the problem. It's too far out there, not currently available in the US. One hopes that the Warner Apex budget re-issue that is currently available in Europe and the UK will soon appear here as well.』
(The Real Deal for Franck Organ...) 『Fin-de-siecle Franco-Belgian musique performed by a Frenchwoman on the Cavaille-Coll organ (1884) at St. Etienne, France, issued on the French label Erato: this is the real deal.
Bruckner was certainly one of the greatest organists since Bach, but unfortunately he saw not fit to inscribe any of his great works on paper; so, the honor falls to Franck. Interesting note: in the spring of 1869, Bruckner performed Bach on the Cavaille-Coll organ, La Notre Dame de Paris, before Franck and others. Both Franck and Bruckner were devout Wagnerians; undoubtedly they found much to discuss after the concert. Incidentially, Franck's d-minor Symphony draws many aural parallels with Bruckner's oeuvre of Nos. 0-9. May we infer that Franck's organ works likewise draw parallels with Bruckner's improvisations, now lost in the sea of time? Possibly.
In addition, Franck's String Quartet and Bruckner's String Quintet share aesthetic topoi: pity we don't have more Bruckner chamber works; fortunately we have Franck's Piano Quintet, Violin/Flute Sonata, and piano works. Perhaps we can hear an echo of Bruckner in them.
Oh, yes, let us not forget Franck's oeuvre for harmonium: Bruckner also relished the exquisite timbres and tessitura of the harmonium: he owned a fine instrument, as is seen in the c.1894 photograph of him in his Vienna flat, seated at his Bøsendorfer grande salle piano. The harmonium is directly behind his left shoulder, closed, with the pedals up, and music paper stacked upon it (--by '94, Bruckner was too old and infirm to pump the harmonium any longer). Franck's complete harmonium works performed by Joris Verdin on the Ricercarlabel (2002) are highly recommended.』
(The Definitive Franck for Organ) 『Marie-Claire Alain's newest recording of Cesar Franck's works for organ is the one by which all others should be compared. We are treated to some of her very best playing...very free and imaginative, and exceedingly interesting. As usual, Mme. Alain has included insightful program and performance notes. It is her playing that provides listeners a deep look into the soul and mind of Franck. The Cavaille-Coll organ at St. Etienne in Caen is superbly recorded, and detailed notes on registrations are provided. You will experience musicianship of the highest order.』 『Franck was the first great organ composer after Bach. Kind of amazing when you think about it. Just what were all those other guys doing for 125 years? The truth is that great organ music is inextricably bound up with the availability of great organs, and in the mid- to late-19th century a French organ builder named Aristide Cavaille-Coll created what are arguably the finest instruments of that century. These huge instruments, with their almost orchestral variety of sound, encouraged composers like Franck to return to the instrument and create music worthy of their new sonic potential. The first fruits of the new French organ school are here, expertly played and recorded.--David Hurwitz』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (adult cartoon) 『great cartoon for adults that think thay are still kids. Has nudity but no sex.』
(Highly Entertaining Nonsense) 『Agent Aika plays like an animated Russ Meyer movie. It's perfect 1:00 AM entertainment and great way to play 'count-the-panties' (you won't be able to keep up). I suggest watching the subtitled version, as the dub verges on unlistenable. Just kick back and have fun with this flick. DON'T TAKE IT SERIOUSLY!!!!』
(loads of fun in postmodern way for guy) 『As a guy watching animes more intensely in the last 6 months, I found agent aika to be a change of pace from straight action vs getting into hentai which is an acquired taste.
A couple of points (1) see gwen stefani video:hollaback girl&you can see shots of her panties which means that director has been been influenced by Japanese fascination w/ panty shots&a possible bid for mainstream acceptance in N America (2) in japanese past censored media with female genitalia, the white panties were to represent the genetalia&thus the fascination w/ panties.
I found this DVD episodes 1-4 to be better than Ep 5-7 in terms of drawing detail&coloring. And action sequences&storyline more fun. Thus I would recommend to get this one first. However, if you enjoyed the peekaboos in 1-4, then get 5-7 as it's more&it's funny as hell.
As a guy, I tend to get bored easily. The peekaboo factor makes a conventional action anime more interesting. And watching other animes, I feel that I am going to get a panty shot&when I don't, I have to remind myself that I am not watch Aika or Najica.
I believe this fascination stems from the fact that the last few years we had the low-rider/min-skirt phenomena in women's fashion¬ being able to see their panties made aika interesting for me.
Plus the camera angle present a different perspective ie what camera angle is chosen for conventional vs unconventional shots. As a amateur director, I found value in watching this series from that point of view.
Thus if you bored of anime&looking for change as a guy, then get this dvd

(a review) 『this serie it's ok if you want see a story to kill time, good animation, action and like all the series of this type, no have a story, but I think is fine to lost time.』
(Brilliant!) 『If you like watching...
1) beautiful women wearing ridiculously short skirts... 2) aforementioned beautiful women beating the crap out of each other with acrobatic kung-fu... 3) lots and lots of panty shots...
...then this series is for you!
Capsule reviews for both discs...
"Naked Mission": Briefly (pun intended)...a megalomaniac named Hargen recruits an army of beautiful and brainy women to help him take over the world. Aika and her fellow Salvagers are caught up in his ambitions, and turn out to be the only people who can stop him!
Things to look out for: Nudity (graphic), some sex (including incest!), plenty of violence (fairly graphic), panty shots galore, and...well, just see it; you'll be glad you did!
"Final Battle": The Delmo Army (Hargen's women; see #1 above), is on the offensive again, and only one person stands in their way; sexy, savvy super-agent Aika. Along the way, Aika faces death, danger, and personal humiliation, but she comes through it all with grace and style.
Things to look out for: Brief nudity, no sex, plenty of violence (nobody gets killed, though), one completely unethical medical exam, and...well, see #3 above. 'Nuff said!』 『Aika is seduced by a master manipulator intent on revenge. Can she fight her way to freedom without losing her heart and inhibitions?』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Less than advertised) 『This article was in poor condition. Several of the pages are loose but there are no missing pages. It is soiled and will fall apart unless it is handled very carefullly. I am very disappointed in the condition of the book and certainly it is not as it was discribed.』
(Terrible.) 『This guide is poorly organized and sucks beyond belief. Besides, any good gamer could figure out what to do in this game. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (First Impressions..~20 years later) 『This was first Final fantasy game, and my first role playing game ever. Well, my first for the 100$ Gameboy (back when it game with a free game - Tetris). This game pretty much set the standard for me in turns of music, story and depth, in fact - the industry!. While our characters were our own creation, they were still an integral part of the story. And I loved the story!. Now, I've found Final Fantasy VII and a new standard. This series has had it's up and downs,&it's telling that players in the 21st Century judge this game harshly without realizing that games back in the 80/90's most of time games were just fun&often/sometimes required thought. Not the eye-candy, 3D-fest, kill everything in site, war-this/war-that that plagues us now. Graphics NEVER made a game back then, playability was what mattered. And this game was playable, in fact I played it twice, wait many times and I'm still playing FF7! Games like this are hard to come by, and with "The World Ends With You" Square *finally* went back to what they do best: strong characters, engaging plot! 3D is great, but what's the point if all you are is great to look at?』
(Okay.... I guess....) 『I bought this game because I thought it was FF. But its not! It actually SaGa or SagGe or something.
Gameplay:3.5/5, The gameplay gets slow and often repetitive. Weapons don't do much. Evolving monsters and mutants in the party are wayyyy better than standard humans (unbalanced).
Plot:2/5, There's a plot!?! WOW! The plot is so corny I didn't realize it was their! The dialogue is short and choppy, and it often doesn't make sense.
Graphics:4/5, Good for its age!
Replay:4/5, Like any RPG, it has replay value.
Ingenuity:2/5, Not much new here, except for the"monsters evolve when they eat enemies meat"concept.
Overall:15.5/20, Average, if its really cheap, check it out.』
(Despite nostalgia, still a poor game) 『There is no doubt that Final Fantasy Legend (SaGa in Japan, billed as Final Fantasy in the United States to boost sales) was a highly advanced game for its time (1989). However, it offers nothing that its sequel doesn't offer, and the game is, shall we say, very poor. Not having the advantage of color that its contemporaries (Dragon Warrior, Final Fantasy) had, the graphics are so poor that they were actually bad in 1989, which says a lot. The story is about as simplistic as they come, and you should be able to beat this game in a few hours no problem. Considering its limited availability now, I doubt anyone will really want to play this game - trust me, you aren't missing anything. My fellow"old school"RPG players will call me a heretic, but this game has nothing memorable to offer. Skip it.』
(anotherpaymentmethod) 『I dont Have A credit card can I mail you a check for Final Fantasy Lend. My son had this game and someone stoled it. This is the only place that I have found one. So please let me send you a check. Please get back in touch with me as soon as possible. THANK YOU Sheila Maples』
(Fantastic depth, but simplistic graphics) 『The very first RPG for Gameboy is one of great depth! It completely adds new depth to the Final Fantasy games, with new features to quicken the pace of the games, such as now rather than spending hours earning experience points and going up levels, you can now purchase levels, spells, weapons and stuff like that. To quicken the game, it now has it where when you buy a weapon, you can only use that weapon so many times before you lose it, so the game makes you drive forward to new goals, places and even worlds. Speaking of worlds, the real depth of the game is that there are dozens of worlds, to which you and your party of four travel to one world after another before facing an evil Goddess herself. Another depth of the game is that you can now control monsters as a part of your band of warriors, and you can change the monster into different things by eating meat left behind from dead monsters. With all of this being said, the graphics are very simplistic, and reused over and over again.』 『The long-running FINAL FANTASY series hits the Game Boy with FINAL FANTASY LEGEND. Create your party by choosing four warriors from eight different character classes including humans, mutants, and monsters. Humans specialize in hand-to-hand combat and have access to most weapons, mutants wield magic like no other, and monsters can evolve themselves by feasting on the meat of fallen opponents to become new monsters! Venture your way through four different lands each with a unique fantasy theme to stop the wicked Ashura Devils from destroying the world. A beautiful fantasy soundtrack adds atmosphere to the experience and puts you in the right mood. This single-player RPG features battery backup to save your progress, and is compatible with both Game Boy and Game Boy Color. RPG fans on the go should check out FINAL FANTASY LEGEND.』
