SD cards won't fit. you need a mini SD or a mini SD adapter for micro SD. so far it can read a 4G micro SD which can upload 4 full-length 3gp/mp4 movies or 1000s of audio books/mp3s. it's a perfect companion if you're in a 10 hour flight with 4 hour stop overs. this tablet rocks. nokia rules!』
(Amazing device!) 『The Nokia N810 is a great device for browsing the web, Listening to music, or sending emails. The screen is large and high quality. It even has a gps. The ipod touch can't do halve of the stuff the N810 can do. I would really recommend this device over the ipod touch.』
(Good product) 『I bought this one month ago. Some comments about it:
1 - Nice-looking, good construction, overall satisfying. 2 - The built-in GPS works well, but you'll need to pay extra for the navigation helper. You can download all worldwide maps for free, and they are very detailed. The antenna is much better than my old Garmin eTrex Venture's - it works almost anywhere inside my car, while the Venture could only work close to the windshield. 3 - Skype works well, but with no video. Google Talk is needed for video. 4 - The built-in camera is *very* limited. It's OK as a webcam. 5 - Battery life is OK (6h GPS, two or three days if left on with little use), but if you turn on Bluetooth it'll drain your batteries in two hours. 6 - Wi-fi works perfectly. Combined with e-mail, Skype and GPS, this is perfect for traveling. 7 - I wanted to replace my Palm Tungsten E2 with this, but still couldn't find a decent calendar / contacts app. There are many available for free, but none could import my 400+ contacts exported as .vcf from my Palm.
Overall, it's a good product. If it came with a Palm-quality organizer suite (contacts, calendar, to-do, etc.), I'd give it 5 stars. 』

Pretty, tough, fast, easy and USEFUL!
I'll try to list the confusion points of my research that I understand now that I own it:
Clearly not a cell-phone tho you can use it to make internet calls from a Voip Client such as Skype, Gizmo and Fring. You can't connect with 3G directly because it has no GSM Modem or Slot but you can connect to your cellphone via bluetooth and use your cell's 3G, using your cell as a modem. The other way to connect to internet is via WLAN, connecting to any Wi-Fi Hot Spot available! *- If you WANT or NEED a GSM slot for phone or 3G you must wait just a little and buy the recently launched Nokia N900.
The camera is something I still don't fully understand... You can only use it for Videocall with the NATIVE application if you're calling another Internet Tablet. Alternatively you can install Gizmo and make Videocalls to a computer with Gizmo installed. Nobody will use it to take photos since any cellphone has a better camera nowadays. *- If you WANT or NEED a better camera, follow the advice and buy the new Nokia N900.
The Veicular Support that comes with it is useless, unless you don't care to destroy your car's desk you'll probably never use it.
The native email client is very good! I'm using GMail's IMAP and I have no complaints by now. The only improvement that I think they could do is to have a simpler way to switch accounts otherway than opening the Menu>View>and selecting the account.
The native IM works for me also since I use GTalk!
The GPS application is something that need real improvement. You can pay for the native Maps application or use the Maemo Mapper free software. But you'll need to create your routes from the internet and save it so the Mapper can lead you... if you need another route and there's no connection around, you're lost!
Anything else is great!
Mozilla Browser, Active Stand-By (home) apps, Great list of apps from Maemo.org, the phisical keyboard rocks for me and the speaker are even better than my Dell's.

(Perfect device for my needs) 『Any time I whip out my Nokia N810, the most common question I get is, "what is it?" Clearly, it's not a phone (though it could pass for one), but generally I just tell people, "It's pretty much a mini-computer." That about sums it up right. There's not much you can't do with the Nokia N810. Especially if you're already used to the world of Linux. It works really well and it can do a lot.
Anybody who has surfed the net on an iPhone/iPod Touch will be surprised on how much more you can do on this device. It has native flash support, and just about any page that renders fine in Firefox will render fine on the built in browser. It also has tons of storage. It has an internal memory card that holds up to 2 GB but if that's not enough, it's really simple to expand it using the MiniSD card slot.
There are two major downsides I have for this device. It takes almost as long as my laptop (running Windows 7) to boot up. Almost as long, but it's still faster. Also, a lot of the Applications on it seem to be half-realized. For example, Pannuci: it's a resuming media player, meant for podcasts, audiobooks, etc. It works pretty well, until I want to create a playlist for long trips. I can add a song to the play queue, and that's how I begin the playlist. Well, can I edit the playlist? No. Can I see what file is coming up next? No. Can I see the playlist at all? No. Can I save the playlist? Yes... but the only way to do that is to open a new file and then it will ask you if you want to save. The features are there, but there's no way to bring it up in the interface. That's just one example of the frustrations I have with the apps on this device.

(Great minature reader but beware shipping&handling charges!) 『This device is amazing. It truly is almost as physically small as it could be to still be useable. The MicroSD card fits inside the USB plug itself, completely concealed. In fact, unless you know it's there, you probably wouldn't even notice it had a MicroSD in it. I used my reader with the Class 6 Transcend 16GB MicroSD and the device enumerated in Windows 7 instantly. It was ever bit as fast as a standard, full-size USB 2.0 reader. There IS an LED indicator, but it doesn't indicate R/W activity - only that the device is plugged in and receiving power. The blue LED is concealed behind the plastic just near where the lanyard attaches.
No word yet on longterm durability, however. The fiberglass that supports the super-tiny surface mount electronics and the 4 gold-plated USB contacts is ultra-thin and I do have some concerns about durability. I would NOT recommend this reader for frequent MicroSD card insertions / removals as it can be a little tricky to get the MicroSD card in and out of the reader. Once inserted, however, this thing seems to do the trick quite well.
A word about unreasonable shipping and handling charges: This reader, including its packaging, weighs exactly 5.5 grams. The device costs $2.99 and I was charged $4.74 shipping and handling PER reader! If I had wanted 10 of these readers weighing a total of 50.5 grams (1.8 oz), I would have had to pay $29.90 for the readers PLUS $47.35 shipping and handling!! For 1.8 ounces of material in envelopes smaller than the palm of my hand. That is INCREDIBLY UNREASONABLE. Please keep that in mind when selecting a seller!』
(Disappears) 『This product is made in China; the package boasts "Fast and easy date transfer!" This is a very small reader. It will fit on a man's thumb nail. The Micro SD card faces away from the computer. As you insert the card into the reader, a small yellow tab pushes out of the plastic end of the reader (see pictures). To remove the chip you push the yellow tab in and the chip is pushed out of the reader just enough to pull it out with your fingers tips. With the chip inserted the cap will still fit tight. I leave mine in my laptop even while transporting. The reader protrudes just 3/16" from the edge of my HP laptop. There is a soft blue light at the end of the reader while inserted. Without the mini-lanyard attached, the reader almost disappears. This reader is perfect for me. I use 8 and 16 GB Class 6 Micro SD flash memory cards and store just about everything on micro SD cards. I can leave it in my laptop for days at a time. When removed, the reader easily fits in my jeans coin pocket. I will most likely end up losing the cap, however, the chip fits very snugly into the reader and should not fall out. I'm in the process of buying a few more elago card readers for family and friends. I recommend this reader.

I use them primarily for my commute on the light rail so I don't have to listen to random conversations. While not audiophile quality audio, they sound great for the price. High notes were slightly subdued initially but have come out during break-in. Mids were solid from day one. Bass is a slightly on the weak side but very clear and only will be an issue for bass-heavy music (a very small portion of what I listen to). Comfort is simply the best I've found. Isolation is moderate but does what I want; that is I can still hear the stop anouncements on the train if I don't turn the music up loud. Overall a solid in-ear for commutes where you want good sound but you don't want and can't appreciate top end sound. Unless you are really into bass, I don't think you'll find a better value at the price.
Based on using a Sansa fuze with most music 256 kbs mp3's.』
