『I have had this machine for a number of years. My husband was making pizza dough on Friday night and the machine worked itself off of the counter. To my amazement we plugged it back in and even with pieces broken on it it still works. I am ordering a new one just in case this one stops working. I love this machine.』

『I have made 3 loaves of bread in this breakmaker and have been very pleased with the results. The only thing i wish were different is that the digital control pad on top is hard to see unless you have a bright light overhead.』

『Years ago my husband bought me an automatic bread maker for a wedding anniversary present. At that time I had been making very good bread by hand for many years. I was skeptical and somewhat insulted. To sweeten the gift he promised to make all the bread. He has made all the bread we eat for more than 25 years. This recent purchase is his third bread maker--bread makers do not seem to last forever. The Panasonic SD-YD250 is proving to be very satisfactory. He would give it a 5 star except he wishes he could over ride the built in cycles. I Hope other people have as much good luck with their bread maker as I have had with mine.』

『I like it a lot. Assuming you use fresh ingredients and follow precisely the included recipes, it turns out good every time.
Only gripes:
1. A little pricey for a basic machine.
2. Can't seem to get the crust light. Even medium comes out a little hard sometimes for my liking.
3. Using any bread machine recipes other than the included ones results in spotty outcomes. Wish it was a bit more forgiving.
But I used to have the Breadman Ultimate (actual tried 2 in row) and could never get reliable edible loaves out of either of them. So this was a big improvement.

『I guess with the artists listed, I expected much more than what is on this cd. It is pretty much just "ok". Really enjoyed just a couple of the songs, the rest were not anything special.』

You can feel the weird futuristic/desert background the movie portrayed. It also makes you feel so incredibly VAST. But in a gorgeous way. It's hard to describe. (Etherial, Whimsical, Hopeful)

『Few disagree that a great movie must also have a great score that balances but doesn't overpower. The Book of Eli is a fantastic movie, whether you are religious or not. And what makes it so powerful, in large part, is that it is perfectly scored. The electronic reverbs of guitar and piano echo throughout the soundtrack and give it an empty, desolate feel... But a hopeful one. Just like the movie.

Make no mistake, if you heard the music in the movie... It is on this CD. That entrancing guitar at the end of the movie is on the soundtrack. It's all here folks!

However, if you are just looking for that characteristic song that you love from the movie, It's only present on a single track:

"Panoramic" is THAT song. So definitely buy that one!

If you love ambient, electronic music... You will LOVE this soundtrack.

『The Book of Eli Original Motion Picture Soundtrack features an original score by composer/musician/producer Atticus Ross, marking his third collaboration with the Hughes Brothers and his first feature film score. Ross' music is a unique hybrid score of electronic and organic elements; writing with his wife (Claudia Sarne) and brother (Leopold Ross), the basic tracks were recorded at his studio in Los Angeles before departing to London where it was finished in Abbey Road Studios with a full 80 piece orchestra.

Ross' other film credits include co-writing and producing Go All the Way (Into the Twilight), the Perry Ferrell single for the hit film, Twilight, the score for the Allen Hughes vignette for the film New York, I Love You, as well as the music to the Hughes Brothers TV show 'Touching Evil'. Ross has also incorporated his musical style into collaborations and productions of such major artists as NIN (the albums With Teeth, Year Zero, The Slip, and the Grammy-nominated Ghosts), Jane's Addiction, and Korn.』

『I had this on cassette tape when it came out. I was (at the time) disappointed (I was 14) that some songs were omitted and just thought the soundtrack was ok. I am a Blues Brothers nut! I bought this again on CD just to have it in the collection and for days "She Caught the Katy" was running through my head! When I got it, I listen to it several times all the way through. This is a classic album and a great soundtrack. The Blues Brothers will always remain one of my favorite bands. The music they performed seems timeless and you can sense the fun they had doing these songs!』

『First and foremost The Blues Brothers Movie is a great cult classic in the same vein as Animal House, Spinal Tap, etc.. And the music is one of the central characters. This is the soundtrack that re-energized the careers of Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and James Brown in the 80's. John Belushi and Dan Akroyd do an adequate job on their tunes while Charles, Franklin, Cab Calloway and Brown truly shine. Finally, through it all, the absolutely first-rate, crack, back-up band created a sound that can never be duplicated. With such veterans as Duck Dunn, Steve Cropper and that awesome Horn section - this soundtrack delivers greatly on a sonic level, if nothing else. If you haven't heard or seen the movie recently, pick this up for a great reminiscent ride!』

『All I will say is"I LOVE THIS MOVIE"!! I am so glad to have found it online! I haven't seen it since it first came out and I was a kid. I have always wanted to find it on video to buy! It is just a western romance about a cowboy's heart ache and his search for his runaway wife. But I won't tell you much more (like other reviews). I don't want to ruin it for you. Other people are making this mistake of telling the ending, such as who kills who and when and so forth. HELLO!! Don't ruin the ending!!!』

『What can I say- this movie's more fun than you might think... despite the dreadful performance by Morgan Fairchild (far from devine)!! Where are the Petticoat Junction girls when you need them? As always- Willie's cool and collected and he manages to keep a straight face whenever Ms. Fairchild dribbles her lines! Why the producers failed to cast Katharine Ross or, perhaps, the sexiest woman in the film- "Cindy" (Baytowns Miss Marinell Madden... who eventually offs Mr. Nelson while wearing a wonderfully campy wig!) is beyond me, but I always enjoy this movie whenever I catch it, and will long for a DVD of out takes whenever somebody sees fit! Just checking for you!』

(Can't Believe I Found This On DVD!!!)

『I have had the original VHS since I was BABY practically, and continue to watch it every often, even way BEFORE Michael passed. When I thought they would take advantage after he passed by releasing "past" movies and such, I assumed this would of been first, and too my surprise it wasn't even mentioned. I would like to believe this dvd is a "bootleg" but it seems to genuine and it has the appropriate details from the "Warner Bro's Studios", LOGOS, FBI Warning, the works, so its obviously legit. What I don't get is why the record company would release a "Michael Jackson" dvd in another country rather than his own, this DVD doesn't exist here in the U.S., unless its a bootleg. I am not complaining at all about the situation, I bought the last dvd "new" from this page for only $18.96, thats all...they will probably release and sell it for more in the U.S. soon, I hope, with extra footage of some sort. Even though there is a few Korean writings on the DVD BOX, its ALL in ENGLISH, and works PERFECTLY FINE with my REGION 1 DVD player. I noticed some buyers from another page "accidently" bought REGION 2, which doesn't work for the U.S. and U.K. So be very careful which "REGION" you buy, THIS VERSION was perfect and played crystal clear for me on my MAC and Home DVD player. GOOD LUCK TO ALL SEARCHING FOR THIS GREAT RARE ITEM!!!』

(It took long enough... and WOW)

『I am very critical when it comes to quality, with that said I cannot give this product enough stars. Yes it is from Korea but it will play in your DVD player. Yes the words on the back are written in korean but do you really care? no.

My biggest fear was that the video would be sped up as the PAL versions of the past, this video is perfectly transferred to DVD and does not look like VHS.
Don't get me wrong, it is not perfect, so all of you "gotta have HDTV-it changed my life-I will never go back..." people can zip it, it is what it is.

The only flaw that there could be is the korean writing but if that keeps you from buying it you have other issues.
The audio is good and the picture looked great. People, you must realize that not everything is perfect and there was actually a time before HD and 5.1 etc... seriously, check wikipedia.

If you remember this from back in the day (10/29/1988, it was a saturday I believe) and remember how cool it was back then you need to buy it.

They may eventually get around to a major US release but you never know since there are a lot of legalities and everyone wants to dip into the michael money pot, so until then this is the best.

Lets hope we see the making of thriller, ghosts and captain EO soon :)

『After many, many years, Moonwalker is finally available on DVD!

Unlike the description would lead you to believe, this is actually a Korean release (region 1/3/4, NTSC). The text on the case is both English and Korean (mostly korean, especially the back), but the coverart is reversible (to an english only version with no text on the back).

For anyone wanting the tech-specs, this is a DVD-5 (single sided, single layer) encoded at 1.37:1 (fullscreen) and Dolby 2.0 english audio (and a number of different subtitle options), 93 minute runtime. The only extras are a theatrical trailer.

The disc contains the entire Moonwalker 'movie' (concert footage, music videos, claymation films and Smooth Criminal "movie" with Joe Pesci) - a classic movie, especially if you grew up watching it!

Video quality is generally good, same for the audio (5.1 would be nice, but the 2.0 is very good). The video quality, however, appears to be overly dark - I noticed some "black crush" (areas that are so dark, no detail is to be found - but that could just be the display I watched it on. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting. I'll update the review once I have a chance to try another display.

Some more extras would be nice, but I'm more than happy just to have this film on DVD. Next - bring on Captain EO and Ghosts to complete the collection!

『This movie came at a time when Seagal had run out of novel ways to show the breaking of bones and the public had grown tired of Van Damme's 'splits-between-______?______' routine. Hollywood was looking for a new Schwartzeneggar-type action hero with a new skill set... Jeff Speakman answered the call in this little 'revenge/martial arts film that could'.
Speakman, a student of the Great Ed Parker, Jr., had the looks, a certain mid-western appeal, and hand techniques to rival Seagal's in cinematic flare (and kicks pretty close to Van Damme's level!). He even proved to be pretty deft at delivering one-liners which is a trademark of the Schwartzeneggar-era action flicks of the 1990's.
Great martial arts..Good production value...American Kenpo vs. Korean Taekwondo!!..Good acting--especially for this sub-genre...

("The Perfect Weapon" - Hardly An Exaggeration)

『Hollywood's action scene was left poorer by letting Jeff Speakman go: the kenpo master had the looks, the moves, the charisma, and would've been on his way to becoming the next Van Damme or Seagal had Street Knight [VHS] not come along. Still, we can't change the past, and instead of imagining of what could have been, let's look at the obvious: "The Perfect Weapon" is a very good action movie - possibly within the top twenty western martial arts films of its time. I'd even go as far as to call it a model of the action scene at the time: if you dig the likes of Rapid Fire, Above the Law, or Showdown in Little Tokyo, then this little opus of is definitely for you.

The story follows Jeff (Speakman) - a young delinquent who grows into an amazing martial artist with the help of his mentor, Kim (Mako, Conan the Barbarian); when Kim is assassinated by the Korean mafia for not submitting to their whims, Jeff sets out to find the killer and avenge his old friend.

Granted, the plot deviates minimally from the standard tale of revenge explored by dozens of action heroes who came before Speakman, but both he and director Mark DiSalle (Kickboxer) make it his own: Speakman has a light load to carry when it comes to acting, but in this case, actions truly speak louder than words. The martial arts are shown more respect in here than in your typical beat-`em-up flick, beginning with Speakman delivering a flawless kata and later delving into the history and intricacies of kenpo; you certainly end up knowing more about the fighting style at the end of the movie than you did at the end of, say, Bloodsport.

Of course, this wouldn't be nearly as impressive if the film didn't serve up some cool fight scenes, and these it has: Speakman battles a variety of well-matched opponents in several nicely-choreographed encounters, from a three-on-one competition against tae kwon do practitioners (among them the great James Lew) to a speed-against-strength bout with the tank-like Toru Tanaka (The Running Man). His real-life proficiency in kenpo shines through and has been expertly translated to Hollywood cinefighting, easily putting him up there with the best movie martial artists when it comes to making it look both real and exciting.

As said before, Speakman doesn't give a performance to rave about, but the rest of the acting instills no grief: John Dye ("Touched by an Angel"), James Hong ("Blade Runner"), Mariska Hargitay ("Law&Order: Special Victims Unit"), and the indispensable Mako all leave a worthwhile print on the movie, playing their roles solidly. Even Tanaka is convincing in his role as an unstoppable human bulldozer. The only definitively weak player of the crew is young Dante Basco (Hook), whom nobody told was trying so hard to act the defiant young rogue that he started to get very, very annoying.

Like all action movies, however, "Weapon" has its weaknesses, although these are of a bit less common variety than you'd expect: at times, the film attempts to be something it's not, doing so with a handful of lengthy conversations and monologues that both explain too much of the plot at once and try to prove that the actors actually can act. The cast's efficiency has already been vouched for, but the aforementioned scenes are simply too long and slow the movie down at times when this should not be afforded.

However, do we begrudge the movie these things? - of course not! It's an action movie, and at the end of the day, it's one of the most entertaining ones I have seen in a long time. If you just came upon this review by accident, don't let the fact that you don't know who Jeff Speakman is deter you from giving it a chance: Speakman is twice the action hero of many of the old codgers still hanging around today. Fans...will already have this movie, since Jeff was never given a chance to top himself.』

『All I can say is WOW! We had pantry moths. Cleaned, trashed, and froze everything in site and also used these traps.
It filled up in short order with moths coming from who knows where. It only attracts the males so you still need to remove/vacuum up the females.

Don't put multiple traps too close together as it may confuse the moths as to which direction to go. I've got a couple of traps in the freezer to use later to make sure all the critters are accounted for.』
