Used all the different pieces except the steamer tray. For my area, it's a great alternative to the oven during the summer so the kitchen doesn't get overly hot. (Cooks Great, But!) 『First let me say that I do like the cooker. It has good temperature control and a nice pot with steamer basket and grill to go with it. It seems well made and is a good size for a 4-5 person shabu-shabu or combined pot. It comes packaged well with the lid handle being the only part you have to attach. The very first use did cause a stink as the paint or coating on the pot was heated for the first time. (kind of like when you use a new oven for the first time). I vented the fumes out. I only wish I had taken it outside and broke it in empty.
I could deal with the initial break-in but the detail that ultimately made my decision to send it back was the little tag attached to the electric cord that came with it. It said "please wash your hands after handling it as it contains lead and in the state of California it is known to cause....) What? on a cooking appliance you include a cheap cord. The cord was also a little short for my needs and I couldn't place it on the center of my table. What a shame. An otherwise good product except for the too short cheap cord! The cord is a special magnetic ended cord that can't be easily replaced or substituted either. I know that some Christmas lights I have purchased also have had lead in the cords and that's something I can replace easily, but a middle of the line priced cooking appliance. I couldn't believe that!』

(Great for Shabu Shabu!!) 『I love going to Shabu Shabu but it can get rather expensive. So I thought, why not bring the shabu to my dinner table? I did so with this pot. It feeds enough for at least 4 people and worked wonderfully. It heats up pretty quick and brings the water to a boil after 5-7 minutes. A bit pricey, but well worth it for the amount of money I will save cooking shabu at home.
The ONLY drawback is that it omitts a funny smell while cooking. I rinsed the pot out before hand, but it still had this weird smell that made my at home dining experience a bit less than perfect. I've only used it once, so hopefully this is a one time deal. Otherwise, its a good purchase.』

(High quality) 『This utensil set is gerat - I love the convenient case and the elastic holders for each item. My only issues are that the spatula does not fit back in without a small amount of finessing and the tongs came very widely spread and very strong (which is positive) but it made them difficult to use before bending them a little closer together. I have never used a grill brush before so I don't know if this is to be expected, but the bristles on the cleaner are bending. All said however, I would recommend it.』

I discovered that from somewhere, I already knew and loved this music and very much wanted it. So I did a search [...], knowing that in particular I was looking to include the Polovtsian Dances No.s 8 and 17. All of the discs I found with these pieces, tended to be among compilations of composers (instead of the all-Borodin I was looking for). I found a few fantastic-seeming Borodin collections, but they were long out of print. When I discovered this particular disc and joyfully examined all the samples it contained, I knew this was what I was looking for, ordered it [...], and was pleased to receive it very promptly. My only confusion lies in something I could swear I hear throughout the disc which I couldn't -- and still can't -- hear in my laptop speakers with the downloaded samples. I could swear for the first time ever, I've heard a professional orchestra with some members who don't quite get the right note even when their instruments are prominent? I admit I am very picky about pitch, but I've never before had that problem with classical discs I've picked up. If you are not really picky about pitch, I can recommend this disc wholeheartedly, as a 5. The sound is good, and the overall dynamics are good, and if you are considering this disc you probably love the music already. If you are distracted by flatted notes and poor blending, it's probably more of a 3. But I am still very glad to have the disc.』

For people new to this type of music (mantra), the term "orthodox" applies to Hindu music just as the term "purist" applies to folk music. Both terms apply to the original source&performance of the music.
When applied to mantra, "orthodox" implies the subject matter&performance is replicated exactly, or at least very closely, as it has been handed down from its origin--although with mantra, the origin probably goes beyond recorded history.
This CD is that it goes back to the source without any Western fusion elements at all.
I like all mantra music--provided it is well produced.

Jitendra Abhisheki was born into a family of hindu priests, and the tabla plyer, Hari Rao, is a close associate of the great Ravi Shankar.
This is music for deep meditation, but it is also pleasant background for people drawn to Hindu music.

Jitendra Abhisheki's voice is simply exquisite. His pronunciation is so clear that even without a text to follow you can pick up words to most of the peace chants. His rendering of the Siva Mahimnastotram (Hymn on the Greatness of Shiva) sets a mood of reverence and absorption. Also included are a poem by Jayadeva of Radha's great love for Krishna. This isn't something you want to have playing in the background during a fourth-of-july celebration, it really deserves dedicated listening. I am looking for more by him.』

(Huun-Huur-Tu's 2nd album improves on the first) 『Tuvan throat-singing techniques allow a singer to sing two notes at once, a low drone and a higher melody made of the overtones of the low note. Huun-Huur-Tu specializes in old Tuvan songs that were in danger of being forgotten during the long Soviet reign. This album is an improvement over their first album,"60 Horses in My Herd", by adding Anatoli Kuular's strong tenor to the band. Kuular has the best voice I've heard in Tuvan music, and he and Kaigal-ool Khovalyg provide a great one-two punch here. My favorite song is"Aa-shuu Dekei-oo"; other highlights are the"Exile's Song"and"Agitator". Every Tuvan album includes some khomuz jaw harp, and that's usually the low point of the album for me--the medley of khomuz here is perhaps the most listenable I've heard. The instrumentation is mostly simplified variations on violins and banjos, and the playing is pretty basic.』

(Diesel Is Decent) 『Vin Diesel is a pretty good guy to play these new action-heroes. He's a big, muscular macho guy who men can look upon with some respect and the ladies can fall for. Unfortunately, a number of these testosterone-filled action films, including this one, are somewhat moronic in nature. However, they are undeniably entertaining.
You can always depend on one thing in these type of movies, from the "biker movies" of the '50s to today's films: the hero will always be a rebel against authority and any laws of the land. Also, an even more-recent theme is to have the government actually employ the rebel to get the job done because their men are unable to accomplish what this ultra-tattooed macho man can do! It's so much garbage, but it has its moments and Diesel still is a likable hero of sorts.
Like Arnold Schwarzenegger before him, and Steven Seagal, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris and then "The Rock" and now Jason Stratham, these kind of muscle-men have fairly clean mouths and at least some ideals.
For pure action, the movie succeeds because, in the end, it does entertain which is the name of the game. 』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Wok Mei Oyster Sauce) 『I was led to this product after researching sodium hydroxide which was listed as an ingredient on a bottle of oyster sauce in the store. I didn't see the brand that I normally purchased and was looking for a substitute. After learning that there is a food grade sodium hydroxide and it is commonly found in fruit and vegetable washes, which I don't use, I decided that I wasn't interested in eating lye, food grade or not, and I started searching for a natural product and Wok Mei came up in the search results.
Even though the oyster sauce that I normally used didn't list any unusual ingredients, the Wok Mei oyster sauce wins hands down in terms of flavor, and it has made a noticeable difference in my stir frys.
I purchased mine directly from the Honest Foods website in search of a better price on shipping.
This is one of my favorite veggie stir frys.
Bok Choy
Ingredients
1 tbsp vegetable oil 1 tbsp sesame oil 1 tsp freshly grated ginger 1 lb bok choy, sliced 1/4 cup water 2 garlic cloves, pressed or minced 1 tbsp oyster sauce 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce 1 tbsp brown sugar 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, optional
Directions
Cut end off bok choy, keep stalks together and slice. Keep white stem pieces separate from green leafy pieces. The white pieces need to cook a little longer than the leaves. Keeping stem pieces and leaves separate, rinse and place in a salad spinner. Or rinse and drain in a colander and pat with a paper towel to remove some of the water.
To make the sauce, combine water, garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes, if using, in a small bowl and set aside.
Heat a 14" wok or large skillet over medium high heat. Joyce Chen Traditional 14-Inch Flat Bottom Wok Set Combine the oil in a small bowl. Add½ of the oil mixture to the wok and swirl around to coat sides. Stir in ginger. Quickly add white stem pieces to wok and stir fry 2 - 3 minutes or until pieces start to turn a pale green color and are slightly softened or are of desired tenderness. Stir or toss the pieces frequently.
Add remaining oil to wok and add the leaves. Stir fry 1-2 minutes or until the leaves are wilted. Remove from heat and place bok choy in a serving dish.
Pour the sauce into the wok. Cook over medium high heat 3 or 4 minutes or until the sauce is slightly thickened. Stir constantly to keep the sauce from burning. Pour over bok choy and serve. 』

It is very interesting, and the autrocities it chronicles are horrendous, but it lacked the power that I assumed it would have. Chang's style of writing I don't find particularly smooth, indeed, at times it strikes me as clunky, but more importantly however, the blunt and matter of fact way she totals up the deaths and describes the massacres lessons the book's power. Indeed, rather than humanizing the subject matter Chang's style is paradoxically dehumanizing to some degree, as she all to often fails to put a human face on the thousands being killed here, hundreds being butchered there. Still, the work is an important and informative one, and well worth the read for a better understanding of the character of the Imperial Japanese forces and the war in China - a war and a level of brutality that is far too often whitewashed by those in Japan and strangely ignored by the west, so preoccupied with the horrors of the Holocaust.』
(A narration well researched and bravely told) 『My country was also once occupied by the Japanese. My parents and grandparents also told me stories of rape and torture but not to the scale of Nanking. It's so well written that when you read it you have the feeling you are in it.』
(Absolutely Gut-Wrenching) 『It is rare to find in a book the same passion that Chang has exhibited in The Rape of Nanking. It is a gruesome tale of an event which killed hundreds of thousands of civilians. The city of Nanking and the country of China were literally being raped by the Japanese and the whole world knew but did nothing.
Chang divides the book into three parts. The first part of the book describes in horrifying detail what the city of Nanking experienced once the Japanese soldiers arrived. This includes beheadings, live burials, rapes, tortures, forced incest, etc. Chang also discusses in part one the Nanking Safety Zone, where men and women such as John Rabe, Robert Wilson, and Minnie Vautrin risked their own lives to save the Chinese.
Part two of the book mentions what the world knew of the Rape while it was taking place. Chang states that the world knew that the event was occurring due to the articles and photographs published in world known newspapers, even including Japanese newspapers. Chang also writes of what happened to the Japanese men involved in the Rape.
In the final part of the book, Chang writes of something she titles "The Second Rape." It refers to the Japanese not taking responsibility/blame for the rape and for the public not being educated about the event.
The book is a very quick read and with Chang's ability to write on a gruesome subject in an extraordinary way, you will want to read the book in one night. I highly recommend this book to those interested in histories of the world that have been forgotten.』

In my opinion about Peak is that he's very determined. He also is really into what he loves which is climbing. Josh to me is very sneaky and selfish. The setting in this book was terrific! I mean you can't write a book about someone who loves to climb and have it not take place on Mount Everest! I also really like how the end is something that you definitely do not expect. Especially after all that he's been through on the journey up. I did take one star off my ratings though. Because I feel it really got boring at times. I wish I didn't feel this way. Otherwise it had so much detail that you feel like your actually with them!This book is definitely for people who like adventure and survival packed stories. Peak is a book that is a great realistic fiction story.I think the main themes of this book are trust, friendship, confidence, survival, and perseverance. You need all these things to get up Mount Everest! Peak is a really good novel. If your someone who loves survival stories Peak will leave you hanging off the edge of your seat wanting to read more!』

(If You Don't Like to Read, Read This) 『Coming into reading Peak, I was sick and tired of reading. I didn't want to continue to read another boring 200 pages of nothing. Although, as i opened to the first page, I immiedetly got caught in Roland Smith's trap, and i couldn't get my head out of the book. I finished the book that night. The story is full of suspense, drama, happy endings, and sad endings. It has everything your looking for in a book if you want to be entertained.
The main character is a boy named Peak, who grew up with a family that were serious climbers. His parents loved him so much they named him after the mountain peak. Peak loved to climb himself, as it was in his blood. Early in the book, he decides to climb a skyscraper where his face gets stuck to the building.He gets caught by the police, and helicopters come to the roof of the building to save him. He has to go to court, and the suspense starts from there and never ends.

I immediately ordered an autographed copy through Amazon from a bookseller in Georgia it arrived in less than 36 hours and occasionally I check to see If he's reading it. It's on his bedside table with a bookmark that appears to be progressing. I got him an I-MAX video about Everest and he invited some school friends over to view it. The book "Peak" turned on a light in his head inspiring him to read and long to someday write. Video games have taken a back seat to reading and that was well worth any price.』 『

(Absolutely Best Cookbook Out There!) 『Best Cookbook I have ever worked with! Great recipes, all of them delicious (rare to find a whole cookbook that just works!), quick, and very simple to follow.
