Fine&Delicate Sterling Silver Sleek Beading Chain Sold By The Foot, Cut To Your Order
Delicate Sterling Silver beading chain, in a very slender (.6mm) width.
Choose your length, in multiples of 1 foot. The quantity you order is the number of feet you want.
NOTE: THIS IS BULK CHAIN SOLD BY THE FOOT. NO clasps or rings included.
All cut chain sales are final. We are not able to accept returns or process refunds of cut chain. Please check description for measurement details so you are assured you are ordering the right size chain for your project.
How do you use it? See our extra photos for examples of use, made in this way: string the beads of your choice on a piece of this chain, and when you like what you've made, simply squeeze a Beading Chain Endcap (sold separately) onto each end (our fancy crimp cord end in 1mm also works for this purpose). Then you can fasten a clasp (such as a 6mm Spring Ring Clasp) to one end, and a jump ring or split ring to the other. You can even add a piece of extender chain to the end with the jump ring, to make your necklace adjustable in length.
Suggestion: If you cut varying lengths of necklaces and end up with some small pieces of chain going unused, you can make some cool earring dangles by stringing a few beads on a short piece of chain, then tucking both ends of the chain into one 1mm fancy crimp (with loop) and crimping. Make sure you like the way it looks before doing any crimping! The chain will fall into a fashionable long teardrop shape, with the beads at the bottom. Then you can hook the fancy crimp loop onto an earring hook. Just make sure that for your other earring you use a piece of chain that is exactly the same length as the first. Ta-daa! Some very hip earrings.』

Then I ordered 7 other Magnetic Fields CD's and I was a little taken aback. They didn't have the almost Jesus and Mary Chain noise of Distortion. But soon I adjusted to the quirky pop sound of the Magnetic Fields and this CD quickly became my favorite. The Amazon reviewer is an idiot: "But much of this particular stretch of the Fields is lacking in charm, since Merritt's wry stance chafes a bit too hard against the guileless melodies." It a very quirky country sound, full of longing and ache and wry melancholy, and the CD is held together very tightly by the controlling metaphor of the road. I buy tons of CD's and this one is going to be one of my favorite purchases of 2008. I'm wondering how I've missed listening the the Magnetic Fields for all these years!』
(Even if you don't like synthesizers) 『This is a great album, and I won't add anything to what's already been said. I just thought I'd let those who don't much like keyboards know that this is still a totally worthwhile purchase. I'd thought of trying the magnetic fields for a while but never did because I didn't think I'd like the keyboard sound that everyone talks about. They treat the keyboards so much, and warp the sound to make it so it really doesn't make a difference. The songs are strong, and I think he makes sure to never sound cheezy on the keyboard (maybe once.) Anyway the songs are so good that the way it's played doesn't matter. Plus, the keyboards really do sound very good for the most part, and serve the songs well. Guitar fanatics, give this one a try, it's an excellent piece of music.』
(Classic) 『I first heard this album about eight years ago, and I have listened to it several times a month since. It just doesn't get old--the more I hear it, the more remarkable it is. Many people have commented on Merritt's eclectic instrumentation, which is indeed striking. But the really fantastic thing about his music is just how great he is at turning out a tune. The instrumentations are novel, but not novelties, and the tight melodies have the charm and stay-in-your-headness of folk tunes. Stephin Merritt is just so damned smart--and not in a look-at-me-I'm-so-deep or hipster way, but in the understated, constant, prolific manner that makes for lasting songwriting. His lyrics are also smart and moving, even when, as with the 69 Love Songs trio, he insists on claiming they're ironic or meta. He's a master at wry, pithy little lines that stick with you a lot more strongly than most of the abstract, self-congratulatory crap that passes for poetry these days.
I've listened to each Magnetic Fields album several times over--I'm completely addicted to them, in fact--and while there's not a bad one in the bunch, Charm of the Highway Strip does stand out as the most consistently fantastic and aesthetically unified project. Give this album a try. You won't regret it-none of the many people I've forced this on have. 』
(REALLY Alt Country) 『I'm in a Magnetic Fields month, or maybe a Magnetic Fields six months, who knows? Haven't dipped into 69 Love Songs, yet. And that's probably a six month project itself. But of I, The Wayward Bus/Plastic Trees, and Charm of the Highway Strip, Charm is my current favorite. Like the work of Handsome Family, Giant Sand, and Hank Dogs, this country is not going to be crashing into the mainstream any time soon. Made up of equal parts electronic, synth mixes, cello, and something that sounds like a harpsichord (personally I hear more Phil Spector than Abba in the music), every one of these nine vocal songs -- the tenth, Dust Bowl, is an instrumental that can be skipped -- trades on the classic country themes of trains and highways. Only in Merritt's hand they are neither appealing nor romantic, but obsessions that promise escape and deliver only more pain and loneliness. Which, of course, is exactly what defines Merritt. Lonely Highway, with its references to Jackson, might be the fate that awaited Lee and Nancy, Johnny and June, after they got married in that "fever hotter than a pepper sprout." My two current favorites are I Have the Moon (though written eight years or so earlier, it's what Drusilla might have sung to Spike on Buffy after he became human) and Fear of Trains, where Merritt joins the Ramones in having the KKK take someone away, in this case the history of a Native American girl. Next week the favorites are likely to be different. What's certain is that Charm of the Highway Strip as a whole is going to be a very long-term favorite.』
(this album charmed me senseless) 『Seriously, if you are a magnetic fields fan, BUY THIS. You may not prefer the more dark, country, sound of this album as opposed to the often springy 69 love songs, but i guarantee you, there is no way not to fall in love with this album. By my second listen, this album was already sacred to me, and right now it is sitting in its case after my last spurt of listenings, waiting patiently until the time is right for me to take it out again. My nightmare would be to overplay this album. Stephen Merrit's low voice will make you feel lonely as he sings of a girl's fear of trains, or a lonesome highway, but at the same time he soothes you, in making you too feel like an explorer on some vast, endless highway. The songs on this album make you feel that while you may be lonely, it's an almost noble thing to be.』 『Sweet and sour, incurably romantic, and deeply misanthropic, Magnetic Fields' mastermind Stephin Merritt is a one-of-a-kind voice in modern lo-fi pop. This 1994 outing is a bit of a departure, with Merritt taking his trademark ABBA-styled Casio-pop for a spin in the country--literally. Awash in lush, Nashville-ready production, songs like the doleful "Lonely Highway" (which encompasses snatches of the Lee Hazelwood classic "Jackson") and "Born on a Train" are nothing short of thrilling. But much of this particular stretch of the Fields is lacking in charm, since Merritt's wry stance chafes a bit too hard against the guileless melodies. Completists may feel compelled to take a ride, but novices should probably stick to the more urbane journeys offered byHolidayandDistant Plastic Trees.--David Sprague』

Now imagine that one of the greatest living composers was working in Hollywood, turning out astonishing, hauntingly beautiful and stirring musical scores for these throwaway movies. That's what you get with this set: music Henry Purcell composed for some two dozen often utterly forgettable plays (trust me--I've read a number of them!) Occasionally, when he teams up with a playwright worthy of his stature, such as John Dryden, Aphra Behn, or William Congreve, the results are even better, but for the most part you can enjoy the music here without knowing anything about the original plays.
This set originally appeared as separate LPs in the 70s and 80s, and has been long out of print. That's a pity, since Purcell spent a good deal of his short professional life in the theatre, either writing the incidental music contained on these CDs, or the music for his larger works, the semi-operas (King Arthur, The Fairy Queen, and the like). Almost all of these works are enjoyable gems; certainly, they represent a pinnacle of English 17th century music. Purcell had a genius for spinning musical gold out of the most leaden lyrics (check out his Odes and Welcome Songs on Hyperion if you don't believe me), and he does the same with the song texts in these plays.
Hogwood and the AAM offer clean, listenable performances, and the sound on these old analog discs has been cleaned up and brightened--although they were pretty good, even in the late 70s. As with most Hogwood, emotional extremes are kept to a minimum, so the "otherworldly" nature of late 17th century music, so often emphasised in more recent Baroque performances, doesn't come across here. It would be interesting to see what a group like The King's Consort would do with this music, but this set fills the major gap in the Purcell canon quite nicely.
My only beef with the reissue, as with many reissues, is that the liner notes are rather thin for a 6-cd set--the lyrics to the songs, for example, are especially missed. Still, it's a worthwhile set, and a must for fans of Purcell, English Baroque music, or anyone who just wants to experience a taste of the last days of the Restoration stage.』

"The Anatomic Bomb" SOPHIA LOREN!Çiao Bella!) 『If you're a red-blooded male who is conscious and still breathing, you'll appreciate this classic Italian farce and its ravishing main attraction. Mere words can't begin to describe the breathtaking 19 year-old Sophia Loren. Trust me; my eyeballs still hurt from popping out of my head! (Oh, yeah - what's-his-face and whosis are okay in it, too...)』
(screwball comedy, italian style) 『I was very pleasantly surprised by this movie; It's fun and interesting to start out with, when Sophia Loren and her pals try to steal poor Marcello's beloved taxi, and Loren is unbelievably sexy, but the movie really takes off with the entrance of Desica who seems to be having the time of his life as an older thief bemoaning the crude methods of the younger generation of thieves. This movie is almost like Bringing Up Baby Italian Style; the wacky unpredictable woman and the befuddled bumbling man who is both in love with her and totally exasperated with her. Best of all, the movie gets better and better, climaxing with a terrific farcical sequence aboard a bus and culminating in a police station/courthouse scene that once again mirrors the American comedies of the 30's only with a distinctly Italian Flavor. Well worth seeing for so many reasons!』
(Sophia and Marcello ham it up in 50s style.) 『It is quite a kick to see Ms Loren and Senori DeSica&Mastroianni so ageless! They look practically the same decades later as they did in this 50s flick, "Too Bad She's Bad". Marcello is the beefcake straight guy, Sophia is the devastating lure and Vittorio is hilarious as a hapless ageing carpetbagger and thief. And the old cars are great to see in their real original condition. This Morality Tale is told with humour in the poverty of post war Italy. You get a sense of the renewal of energy of a people who were kicked around by the fascists then intruded upon by the allies. The characters seem to be breathing easier a decade after the war's end and the fun has come back into the Italian psyche. Of course, Sophia's luscious beauty is enough but seeing her with her colleagues as they were beginning their breakthrough into international stardom is a treat, too. I really enjoyed this romp into Italian cinema history but the gags are still funny - especially Vittorio's little hollow thief satchel that is mechanically faulty preventing him from successfully robbing people - a very funny tongue-in-cheek metaphor for the haplessness of the post Mussolini infrastructure.』
(No one was prettier than Sophia!) 『A very entertaining film, the first teaming of the 3, as you most likely know. And Sophia. Oh my! So beautiful at such an early age! They just ran this on TCM, great print, so you know the DVD will look good as well. Was shocked to see a very brief nipple slip, as she was changing behind a bush while on the beach....if she had stopped one foot sooner, she wouldn't have shown anything! thank goodness she went just a little further! :)』
(Early Sofia Loren at her best) 『A fun film to watch. Great Italian sense of humor. Sofia at the time when she and other actresses like Marilyn Monroe could show some curves and not be considered obese (as our anorexic actresses of today's film industry are.) The group of pickpockets and scam artists are hilarious and Marcello Mastroianni as a cabbie more obsessed with his shiny car than with his passion for Sofia (or is he) is a comic example of the boys with toys complex. Director Alessandro Blasetti never was fully appreciated in America, therefore his two other hits "Altri Tempi" and "1860" were never put into USA format.』 『A blonde Sophia Loren, an unknown Marcello Mastroianni and a comic turn by BICYLCE THIEF director Vittorio de Sica are the active ingredients in the Italian treat, TOO BAD SHE'S BAD.
"SHE" of course is the Italian "anatomic bomb" Loren, stealing hearts as a lusciously larcenous petty thief. Mastroianni is the naïve young cabbie who tries to set her straight, while de Sica, as Loren's smooth con man papa makes sure his not so little girl stays on the crooked and narrow.
Already the "Number 1 Cover Girl of Europe," "New York Times" critic Bosley Crowther wrote of her attributes: "One striking point is the luxurious Sophia Loren, who is something to look at from any angle or any side . . . she displays such a full and shapely figure she makes it a pleasure to consider being robbed."
Artfully directed by Alessandro Blasetti, TOO BAD SHE'S BAD is a delightful romp , the first pairing of Lorena&masrotinana not too mention the historic first appearance together of these three legends of Italian cinema.』

Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Surrealist Near Masterpiece) 『In this savage satire of the upper class, six wealthy friends attempt to enjoy an evening meal together. They are inevitably foiled by an unlikely series of events, each blurring the line between fantasy and reality.
The friends are often heartless in their complacency. When the ambassador of the fictional Miranda tells his friends of a Nazi war criminal hiding in his country, the others seem mildly interested. Apparently, he was a real butcher. A woman interjects: "Does he like dogs?"
There are several laugh out loud moments, and Bunuel mixes in a healthy dose of social commentary. An entertaining ensemble of supporting characters often make surprise revelations, drastically changing your impression of a scene. In one, a woman leads a Father to the bedside of a dying old man. Before going in, she stops him and makes a confession: "I've always hated Jesus Christ."
As the film approaches its finale, Bunuel explores the medium between dreams and real life. Several of the friends experience nightmares playing on their fears and desires. The six actors give depth to their characters, and the viewer gets an admirable portrait of each. Bunuel's genius is evident throughout. 4.5/5』
(Executeable) 『Luis Bunuel's major theme in this film is showing his dislike for the 'bourgeois' segment of society. A similar theme was shown about 5 years after "Discreet Charm"'s premiere, although more playfully, in Bunuel's "That Obscure Object of Desire." In what seems to be a dreamlike scene in "Discreet Charm", a group of defenseless 'bourgeois' friends is machine gunned without reason. Did the director think the friends deserved the punishment?』
(The Stuff of Dreams) 『"The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie" unfolds with the absurd logic of a recurrent dream, and since the DVD has been beautifully restored, one is able to dream the dream in vivid color: Elegantly dressed guests arrive for a dinner party only to have the hostess inform them that they have arrived on the wrong night; thus, they keep making appointments for dinners that are continually interrupted for one reason or another--all of the reasons being as patently ridiculous as are the characters: a bishop, who arrives at the house and asks to be hired as a gardener, and then relates the story of his macabre childhood; a soldier, who arrives at a restaurant (that has run out of tea and coffee), asks to join the ladies, whom he has never met before, and relates the story of his macabre childhood; a General, who arrives with his platoon a day early at the same house with the same hostess in time for dinner, and then, after the General invites a Private to relate the story of his macabre dream to the hosts and the invited guests (who listen attentively), both General and platoon depart for maneuvers (but not before inviting all the guests to his house for dinner, where even more macabre events unfold.). Thus, the dreams contain dreams within dreams within dreams within dreams within dreams et cetera ad absurdum.
This film is for anyone who has ever had recurrent nightmares of waiting for a bus on the wrong corner; of being about to take a test only to discover that one has studied the wrong subject; of being about give a lecture only to discover that one has forgotten the notes; or of performing on stage with a mouth stuffed with peanut-butter when one's cue is coming up. All the absurd commonplaces that make perfect sense when one is dreaming. And much of the "discreet charm" of the bourgeois characters in this film derives from the fact that one is dreaming their nightmares and not one's own.』
(Buñuel's best film.) 『This is arguably Buñuel's best film. Described as "a complex, shifting, virtually plotless web of dreams within dreams within dreams," Luis Buñuel's 1972 Academy Award winning surrealist film, The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (Le charme discret de la bourgeoisie) chronicles five derailed dinner parties of a group of three affluent Parisian couples, intermixed with four dreams dreamt by different characters. The sextet of friends includes Rafael Acosta (Fernando Rey), François Thévenot (Paul Frankeur), Simone Thévenot (Delphine Seyrig), Florence (Bulle Ogier), Alice Sénéchal (Stéphane Audran), andHenri Sénéchal (Jean-Pierre Cassel). Although they constantly arrive for dinner parties, they never actually eat. Whether they arrive on the wrong night, or there's a corpse in the next room, their plans are always thwarted by some absurd complication. Meanwhile, secrets involving adultery, perversions, boredom, hypocrisies, military maneuvers, and drug smuggling are revealed beneath the surface of their "polite," bourgeois facade. Buñuel breaks all the narrative rules in this film. Dreams interrupt scenes and unpredictabile surreal twists interrupt the film's narrative in a way that might be described as Monty Python at its most extreme. While other filmmakers are retired at age 72, Buñuel was at his charming best.
Criterion's two-disc edition of this masterpiece includes a new high-definition film transfer, El náufrago de la calle de Providencia (The Castaway on the Street of Providence, 1970): a 24-minute documentary homage to Buñuel by his friends Arturo Ripstein and Rafael Castanedo, A propósito de Buñuel (Speaking of Buñuel, 2000): a new 98-minute documentary on the life and work of Buñuel by Jose Luis López-Linares and Javier Rioyo, the original theatrical trailer, and new and improved English subtitles. Highly recommended, must-see cinema.

(The Discreet Charm Of The Bourgeoisie) 『One of the Spanish master's funniest films, the Oscar-winning "Charm" gleefully savages the manners and mores of the upper crust, employing bizarre plotlines and fanciful farce to attack the well-heeled scions of respectable society as vain, decadent, elitist, and thoroughly amoral. Rey, Seyrig, and New Wave icon Ogier head the stellar ensemble cast, with Julien Bertheau standing out as a pompous, not-so-holy bishop. Buñuel's dream-within-a-dream sequences, which involve ghosts, terrorists, and sundry other characters, are simply brilliant, and bring this sublime, extended joke to the verge of divine absurdity.』 『What can be more enjoyable then a meal among friends and family? In Luis Buñuel's surrealistic comedyThe Discreet Charm Of The Bourgeoisieit is this common ritual a sextet of upper-class friends repeatedly attempt, only to be obstructed by one obscure event after another. Masterfully balancing the dichotomy of class vs. debauchery Buñuel delivers a ripping critique of the upper class. It is clear from the beginning that the lives Buñuel'sBourgeoisieare living are not what they seem. Eventually, their true colors begin to shine; not in actual actions but in haunting dreams. What is real and what lies in the subconscious becoming exceedingly blurry and in order to deliver his message, surrealism must take over. She continued to play with it, even after she'd broken some pieces, and it was tiny, almost Barbie-sized, so I was excited when I found this Playskool set. It's perfect! Nice, sturdy, washable plastic. And the fact that cold liquids change color in the tea cups is wonderful, too! The set is a very nice size for tea parties and you can actually put liquid in the tea pot and drink from the cups. The tray is perfect for little hands to carry it all, and it has perfect, little insets where everything sits on the tray to keep it all from sliding around. It's got everything, enough for a party of four, cream and sugar, and 2 spoons, too! Perfect! Any little girl would not be disappointed to be serving tea with this set. Very cute and very functional.』
(Adorable Tea Set) 『Cute and affordable tea set. Plastic so it doesn't break or chip! Color changing which adds to toddlers creativity and imagination! Durable which makes you feel good about your purchase in this economy. My daughter loves it. She plays with it daily and requires water each time! It has helped with her verbal skills (we chat during tea time!) and hand eye coordination.』
(Adorable) 『I bought this for my 3 year old niece and she loves it! Provides a lot of entertainment for her. We're using to it help teach her manners and social situations which she finds enjoyable. It also helps promote her imagination. Really a lovely set. There are no stickers on it that would get dingy/sticky and they're easy to hold and clean.』
(great tea set) 『My 2 year old loves this tea set. She received it from Santa to keep at Grandma's house, as she has dinnerware set to go with her play kitchen at home. This tea set is well made and very durable. The cups turns dark pink with ice or cold water just as advertised. The cups are adequate sized and can be easily picked by either small or elderly hands. I am very happy with this tea set.』 『The Magic Tea Party playset comes with a complete service for four-just add ice cold water to the teacups and pretend tea "magically" appears! When the party's over, soak the teacups in warm water to get them sparkling clean. All of the play pieces store on the durable serving tray for easy carrying and storage!』

It's just that when you put the tape on, it doesn't stay on long and it's really noticable.』 『Eye Charm made to give you the look of bigger eyes, shaped in an arch to make it easier to apply. It makes thin eyelids clearly visible. Also good for those who want to enhance their eyes. Easy to apply make-up after Eye Charm on. A Guide to Charm ? this should be banned or a steep import tariff placed on it for poor content .. then it should be placed in a dustbin far away from a decent readers' home for fear of contamination. this one was bad as far as content and worthless as a present as originally intended .. there it sits getting dusty on the shelf. perhaps I can donate it somewhere but it does seems unkind to have anyone else suffer through this book and actually apply any of the drivel within its covers to their lives. a bad book with equally bad guidance.』
(Wonderful read.) 『I will admit I read this one mainly because there were a few ettiquette things I was a little fuzzy on. The book, for me, totally delivered. I loved it's old-fashioned feel and the way the author(s) took charm to a whole new level. It is an important book for women to read who want to understand more about charm. I also recommend, for fashion, Style A to Zoe: The Art of Fashion, Beauty,&Everything Glamour.』
(Interesting, occasionally useful, but mistitled) 『The first half of the book is actually a totally different book, which should have been printed separately as "How Not To Offend People With Your Odor." I skipped most of it. As it's a thin book already, half of it being irrelevant is rather a lot.
The section that is actually on charm is pretty good, but very, very basic. They do give rather refreshing advice like, "read a lot of different news publications to stay informed," but there's also plenty of, "try to remember your conversational partner has feelings too." Thanks, I already know that, I was looking for some slightly more advanced techniques. Overall, I'm glad I read it at the library, but would have been mad if I'd spent money on it.』
(Not what I expected) 『I might not have understood the description of the book, but the title was misleading. I was looking for something that was more about manners and charm and this was more about attire and make up. I don't think it is a bad book just not what the title implied.』
(Fabulous) 『In an era where women have forgotten the importance of keeping up appearances this book is a fantastic reminder to take care of yourself. The book is witty and filled with little beauty hints like a fabulous grandmother would give. I adore this book.』 『Chronicle Books resuscitates the long-lost art of charm with this classic compendium of hints, tips, and tricks guaranteed to boost anyones charm quotient. First published in 1938, this delightful handbook is overflowing with timeless advice to guide readers through a maze of social interactions with wit and grace. It reminded me of a book that after an author is successful, a publisher will release an old book of the author's. Don't know if this was the case but it was not as good as her usual books.』
(Lucky Charm) 『Lucky Charm, written in true Carly Phillips style. Fun, fast moving and easy to read for a "take me away" time. Thanks, and keep it up.』
(So-so storyline, chemistry lacks some) 『After seeing the book cover with the gorgeous guy on it, I couldn't wait to read Lucky Charm. What I found was a lackluster storyline and the chemistry between hero and heroine needed a boost. I didn't take to the two characters that well. The premise of the story kinda turned me off as well. The hero dumped the heroine years ago because of his belief in a family curse. That would have turned off anybody else from reuniting with him, but the heroine wants him back. Also, the fact that neither one of them, when they were younger, professed to the other that they loved the other. The story just didn't feel believable enough for me. I give it 3 1/2 stars.』
(Lusty Romance) 『Derek moves back to his childhood home, with his Dad and his sad basset hound named Fred. Unexpectedly, Derek's ex-wife Marlene, grants him limited custody of his eleven-year-old daughter Holly, for the summer. He looks forward to bonding with his daughter but he is anxious about how he is going to handle a pre-teen, especially one as precocious as his daughter is. Finally, without any pressures from his job, he is able to set time aside and really get to know his daughter. He is unaware that someone from his past, a LUCKY CHARM, is going to turn his life around in ways he never expects. What lies ahead for Derek's future?
I fell in love with Carly Phillips new novel, LUCKY CHARM. It sizzles with sparks of lust and laughter as it tells the story of a family curse. High school sweethearts, Derek Corwin and Gabrielle Donovan are a match made in heaven but as luck would have it, they break up. Actually, Derek, madly in love with Gabby, quickly calls it quits, to try to dispel the family curse before it dooms their romance. Derek weds Marlene who he is fond of but doesn't love and their marriage inevitably fails. As Derek connects with his daughter Holly, their time spent together provides insightful reflection on his part as he re-evaluates his priorities in life, while he negotiates teen emotions. Complex relationships, gossipy small-town life, steamy sexy situations, and a plot that is wickedly delicious will have fans eagerly clamoring for Carly's next novel. Carly's humor laced tale contains more laugh-out-loud lusty romance than an afternoon soap opera!』
(Lucky Charm) 『Derek Corwin and Gabrielle Donovan were in love but a curse tore them apart. The Corwin men were cursed by a witch to lose their love and fortune if they fell in love. To save himself and Gabrielle from that pain Derek left her. When Gabriel comes back to their hometown to speak about her most recent book and discuss the Corwin curse, she knows she'll see Derek again. She's never gotten over him and she's determined to see if her high school sweetheart still has feelings for her as well. If he does, Gabrielle plans to win him back, curse be damned. As Gabrielle tries to solve the mystery of the Corwin curse it becomes clear that someone wants her and her friends to stop meddling, but Gabrielle is convinced she knows what's really going on and she thinks if she can explain it, Derek will change his mind about it and their relationship. Easier said than done though because Derek says he isn't willing to hurt her. Unfortunately, he already has, and he's about to again.
Lucky Charm kept me smiling from start to finish. Gabrielle has a lot of spunk and determination. Derek is charming. He's a good dad and an easygoing guy, except for his stubbornness about the curse. Gabrielle and Derek have great chemistry. Whether they're talking, arguing, or making love, their connection is strong and undeniable. They were made for each other. Lucky Charm is romantic, fun, and sexy. I love Carly Phillips' books and I can't wait to read the next in the Lucky series!

I sat down and read the book from cover to cover 2 or 3 times already and I have had it for only 3 weeks. If you like to look at different ways to decorate a kitchen or different ideas for remodeling or building, this is the book for you.』
(good reference book) 『I'm looking for a book to get ideas for a kitchen remodel on a budget...This book had all different types of country kitchens..from modern to using what is already there...Liked the book...helped me to think "outside the box".』
(Great Book) 『It has been easier to pick what features I want in my kitchen. I like the pictures and the details they add to the book. It makes remodeling much easier.』
(Good Ideas) 『Lots of good pictures to look at when planning your kitchen, but I did not find very many that screamed me. I guess I was hoping for finding a complete kitchen that I would like to try to replicate, but instead just found 2-3 small ideas to incorporate. Overall, well worth the value to add to my growing home improvement library.』
(Great ideas!) 『We love this book's great ideas, since we are looking to restore our country farmhouse kitchen. It is nice that the pictures are all in 1 book, rather than a million magazines you have to save. Nice pictures and tips.』 『
