『The translucent ink is visible in normal light (sun/incandescent) but glows brightly in the UV pen light and inexpensive incandescent 'black lights'. The edges of pen strokes are higher contrast than center marks and appear as a smudge or glue remnant in normal light, in certain conditions, more so on some surfaces (plastics) than others.

I mark ALL defective products with this pen and encourage remaining 'new'egg customers to do likewise.

Probably the first disc is the most valuable because it provides an excedllent overview of weapon manipulation, stance, grip, ammunition management, sight alignment, etc.. It goes over priciples like safety, economy of motion, etc.. The second disc is good in that it covers alternative use of the sights or optics at close range, sight offset, shooting over the rear sight, etc.. Much of thesecond disc is basically just video of people running through their drills and really isn;t too valuable from the point of view of instruction. Definitely makes you want to take a class.』

『I originally had intended to review Volumes One and Two separately, but after a detailed analysis of both volumes, I decided to review them as a complete set. In my system of beliefs, to separate the two volumes is akin to writing a dictionary in two volumes: A through M, and then: N through Z. While both works may be used independently of one another, accurately and reliably--there is just something missing when one volume is separated from the other.

The principal instructors in both volumes present: Chris Costa, Director of Training at Magpul Dynamics and Travis Haley, the founder, President and Director of Operations at Simply Dynamic Tactical. Between these two gentlemen, there is possessed approximately 33 years of real-world operational experience from both a military standpoint and private contractor's perspective. Together, they bring a unique, diverse, and out-of-the-box pragmatism not normally found in commercially available instructional. There integrated instructor's skills are what we are expected to find being taught to SWAT/SpecOps communites.

The video presentations are top-notch and professional. Using long-range, high-speed photography and video recording equipment, we receive a very high resolution moving picture with direct, close visibility of the actual action, with some very unique angle-shots I don't normally observe in other firearms training videos.

Fast paced, concise, precise and as Mr. Costa likes to say, "The Down and Dirty..." the instructional aspect of this entire Two Volume DVD set of seven discs really does leave no stone unturned. There is no repeating of things in these two volumes--that's what the rewind and slow motion options are for on our DVD players. Instruction is broken down into a lecture phase, an instructor detailed demonstration phase of the skills and necessary actions and then with the follow up phase of these two instructional phases where the students execute the lesson's live-fire drill with instructor supervision pointing out the mistakes as the participants complete the drills. There is no wasted filming, movement or information in either volume. The viewer will obviously observe repeated actions, as all superior systems reaching a level of master naturally possess redundancies. But such redundancies are natural to the intense and information-rich learning and instructional format

Addressing the combative application of primarily the AR-weapons system, Volume One thoroughly discusses and clearly demonstrates firearms safety, fundamentals of solid marksmanship, gear placement, tactical and speed reloading actions, solving the malfunctions dilemmas, shooting positions as well as task specific shooting postures, shooting while on the move and other weapons handling skills needed to excel when deploying the tactical carbine in a real-live lethal force scenario. Interestingly enough, one student participant did use and navigate the sessions successfully with an Avotomat Kalashnikova Modernizirovanniy platform (AKM-47 platform).

With a thorough understanding of one's weapon's system or tactical carbine platform, what is presented in both volumes will nicely extrapolate to any tactically-oriented, carbine weapons' system. It merely takes a full working knowledge of one's weapon system (on the part of the operator) and thoroughly being able to use and apply the basic principles as they are taught, demonstrated and documented within these two volumes of instructional materials. Like both volumes encourage and stress, individual problem solving skills and a willingness to think outside the box are absolutely instrumental and fundamental for achieving the kind of mind-set essential for winning a gunfight involving lethal force.

Specifically, Volume Two covers a multitude of advance combat skills, with the carbine as the primary weapon, and the sidearm as the secondary weapon. Volume Two offers the same fast paced, concise and precise demonstrative instruction, which once again covers safety, with the addition to MEDIVAC briefs, integrating and mastering the basics in all transitions from primary to secondary back to primary, as well as moving and shooting and shooting while on the move. Also covered in great detail are using numerous task required positional shooting postures, how these postures facilitate accurate shooting platforms, how to get into and out of the postures--while on the move. One needs to be both mentally and physically fit to gain the full benefit from the training sessions found in both volumes.

Volume Two continues with multiple target acquisition and neutralization, shooting at distance, shooting from the reactionary (off-side) side, using barriers for cover and shooting an moving from vehicle to vehicle, while engaging multiple targets.

Both videos cover all the drills demonstrated throughout the volumes on a single, respective disc in each volume, so if one merely wants to review the drills, select the disc that has the drills consolidated on it. Nice, neat, orderly.

Weapons and gear selection-placement, weapon's nomenclature, accessories, weapons' storage and travel are covered in Volume One, with a more detailed explication of the M-4 platform with all the possible "bells and whistles" that can be added to this weapon's system is fully covered in Volume Two.

The students operating in the first volume are a diverse coed mixture, including a husband-wife team, while those students participating in the advanced curriculum of Volume Two are largely from a military and/or other professional background--save one experienced civilian shooter. In both volumes, the students are coached to failure and then coached to resolve those failures. The idea being, we cannot become too comfortable if we are to continue to excel at combat shooting under the duress of life and death. Complacency is our enemy.

And the duress created during these training session is as real as safety permits. The duress elicited and witnessed in both volumes, are induced through drill time constraints and a fast paced curriculum which demands out-of-the-box, creative problem solving within these time constraints and movements facilitated throughout all the drills implemented. Safety was and is paramount and absolutely maintained, which actually adds to the duress. There is genuine risk involved during live fire exercises, when and where multiple students are moving about in a fast, yet controlled and deliberate fashion, engaging single and/or multiple targets.

Throughout, the instructors asked questions of the participants, keeping the students on their toes. At all times, these two instructors where in control of their classes, yet exemplified professionalism, concern for their student's well-being and learning curve, and true humility.

Aggressive spirit, establishing and maintaining the proper mind-set and situational awareness at all times, creative problem solving, and mastering one's chosen weapon's system precisely were always the training goals--over and above just simply mastering a unique weapons' skills set. This was true for both volumes. The three words of Magpul Dynamics: "Reality, Efficiency and Consistency rang true at all times. And like I mentioned, we must add to these three words: "outstanding instructor professionalism and humility."

It was apparent to me that both the instructor cadre and student participants had deposited their individual egos far and away outside of the range when these two training/instructional volumes were generated. As serious and as intense as the training was, one could see that the participants were enjoying their training experiences and the instructors likewise, enjoyed what they were doing. The video learning medium that generated these two volumes captured the humanity of teachers and students alike--fallible, imperfect, but humbly willing to set aside egos in order to really learn something of value. This humanness has been a quality I find lacking in so many video instructional mediums. This aspect of both Volume One and Two was most refreshing.

When one arrives at a certain age through trail and error of the worst kinds, few things impress or surprise such an individual. This video presentation, creating these two volumes of tactical carbine skills, succeeded in surprising me and impressing me. The two volumes accomplished this with the degree of organization and ease of getting to whatever I wanted to view; on the uniqueness of the filming angles of the actions; and mostly on the amount and level of expertise taught and demonstrated on these seven discs. To witness and learn the skills and drills shared on these videos more often than not, requires one to enlist into upper tier operational groups in the military or law enforcement. Some may complain and bitch that this material is now available to the enemy. All I can say is that is just plain silly and ignorant of our current global situation and subsequent security requirements, where the enemies have more information about us then we possess about them.

Magpul Dynamics has set a new professional standard for the level of expertise offered, of the magnitude of safety responsibility in sharing this type of information, and in the overall quantity of quality instructional data provided.

The Art of the Tactical Carbine Volumes One and Two possess a lifetime worth of pertinent study and practice for those who take deploying their tactical carbines seriously in the real-world, in real-time applications.

『Magpul Dynamics have the Midas touch, anything they build or do seems to turn to gold. And what they have done with The Art of the Tactical Carbine is release the best training video you could buy. Many good trainers have made training videos in the past but no of those had the impact this does. Many times it was a trainer talking to a camera or on a dirt range with one guy with a camera.

Magpul is a big company and they have invested well into their training section and it pays off. This is by far the best firearms training DVD out there. The tactics they teach are great, the camera work is clean and extremely well done and the interaction between students and instructors is top notch. They have single handedly reinvented the tactical training DVD segment and done it amazingly well.

While no DVD is going to make you a grand master super shooter, there is more than enough good information on these discs for the novice or master level shooter. Its well worth the investment for any serious student and will hopefully tide you over until you can get to an actual Magpul Dynamics course.』

『I purchased this thermometer on the premise that it would take an accurate temperature of my son faster than a conventional digital thermometer and would be easier to use while he slept. While the product has proven itself quite easy to use, it has been basically useless to me because it never registers the same temperature twice. The temperature this thermometer displays can range wildly over the course of just a minute and frequently displays a normal temperature reading when my son is burning up and obviously has a fever. This thermometer has complicated the diagnosis of my son's well-being and I am left "hoping" that I am getting an accurate temperature instead of having the peace of mind a thermometer should offer when obtaining a true and consistent reading. I suggest making a different choice of thermometer for your family.

Now we get a consistent reading that is as accurate as the readings we get from the doctor's office. My only complaint (and it is small) is that the forehead temperature reader doesn't work that well, which is fine because the ear temperature can be taken very quickly, less than a second, so there is no need to use the forehead reader.』

『I had been searching for a good basal thermometer and the ones purchased at CVS or Wal-Mart were lacking some important features. The thing I love about this thermometer is that it has a continual beep feature (which I admit is a bit annoying so early in the morning) but hearing the beep insures me that it's working properly. My temp is taken in about a minute which beats most competitors and it has a back light so I can see my temp before I shut the device off (it rounds the temp to 1/10th of a degree). For those of you ladies out there who are trying to conceive, you'll appreciate the fact that you can see your temp without having to turn the bedroom light on. It also helped me know if I was or was not still fertile. I highly recommend this thermometer. The only criticism I have is that I wish the beeping had a volume control so I could turn it down!』

『I bought this to read and clear trouble codes but the X-Gauge displays are great.

Installation was very quick. The OBD connector (at least in my Honda) is not buried in the wiring under the dash. It's mounted on the bottom edge of the dash sheet metal just above the gas pedal, very easy to find.

I mounted the ScanGauge on my steering column cover with the supplied velcro in a few minutes. It's very light so the velcro works and it blocks only part of my odometer.

It displays your choice of four gauges and many of the 'gauges' are things never available in a 'gauge' before like instant, trip and ave. MPG and intake air temp. The data is fascinating.』

(Great product for keeping track of your fuel economy)
『I had my eye on a Scangauge for some time. The tipping point was when I was working on my car and wanted an OBD II reader to check the engine codes. The scangauge does this, so it seemed as good a time as any to buy one.

I've been quite impressed by the functionality. The trip function is useful for knowing my overall fuel economy for a drive. I use the scan function for real time information on my fuel economy, coolant temperature, load, engine timing, and a few other numbers. I'm still learning what some of the features are, but I'm already quite satisfied with the product. It satisfies my curiosity about driving optimality. For instance, last night I discovered that for climbing a certain mountain near my house, it's more efficient to drive it in 3rd compared to 4th, as I did before. I've also found that driving a freeway route late at night is less efficient than driving the same route during the day. My guess is that it's due to intake air temperature, but figuring out reasons is another matter.』

『This is the best and fastest thermometer I've used. Well worth the money. I have a drawer of other ones I'll sell at a yard sale.』

『I have both a standard dial "instant read" and digital thermometer before purchasing this one. Both got the job done but the Thermapen is now the only thermometer I use in the kitchen (my other one is red The Original Super-Fast Thermapen Instant Read Thermometer (Red) by Thermoworks ). It is easier to insert into whatever meat I am preparing. It leaves a very small hole so less juice run out and the hole is less noticeable. And with its large digital display, I no longer squint at a dial or small digital display when reading the temperature. And its quick and accurate reading makes getting back to cooking or eating that much faster. The auto shutoff helps save the battery life. My old digital thermometer takes tools to change the battery. No tools required to change the battery with the Thermapen.

PROS:
Very fast reading.
Large display.


CONS:
It's expensive (but worth it if you can and wish to afford it).
The replacement battery is a bit difficult to find. I was able to get one from a chain office supply store!

Dial thermometers have two problems: they take too long to register the current temp, and leave a gaping hole in the meat.

『We bought two of these safes for our 4 and 6 year old sons. They are great for little guys who want to have their own "secret place". I saw some reviews that the lock and the safe itself weren't too sturdy - but it IS A TOY, not a real safe for goodness sakes! It works perfectly for the intended purpose. I do wish we could turn off (or down) the alarm...』

『I got this for my nephew (and the pink one for my neice) for Christmas. They are both 5-years-old. My older children also have this safe - they are 15 and 12 now, but got this when they were 5-7. My children still use their safes to store items. As others have said, the knob can be a bit hard to turn. Pushing the door shut seems to help. The alarm can be irritating, but I think we disconnected it on my son's. Overall I like it for kids.』

『I got introduced to this album in 1992, when it first came out. It was by accident as I sent in my alpine deck to get serviced and when I got it back, one of the technicians had left their "Check Your Head" tape inside the deck, the second I turned it on and I liked it so much that I went out and bought the cd soon afterwards. This album is the Beastie Boy's next best album after Paul's Boutique. The remastering is pretty good but I didn't like the B-sides at all. It's as if they decided to put those together when they were drunk and stoned, while inviting a bunch of amateurs to join in. The album is still superb but the packaging isn't as it's hard to get the cd's out every time you want to listen to them and the packaging get's easily dented up every time you try to store it. I can never understand how the record companies operate, if they're trying to go all "Environmental", then why use up so much paper to make this packaging, when they can simply make it into a high-gloss booklet that inserts into a plastic jewel case, just like the way they did the Paul's Boutique album, so that the artwork will be protected and not fade out with time.』

『I got introduced to this album in 1992, when it first came out. It was by accident as I sent in my alpine deck to get serviced and when I got it back, one of the technicians had left their "Check Your Head" tape inside the deck, the second I turned it on and I liked it so much that I went out and bought the cd soon afterwards. This album is the Beastie Boy's next best album after Paul's Boutique. The remastering is pretty good but I didn't like the B-sides at all. It's as if they decided to put those together when they were drunk and stoned, while inviting a bunch of amateurs to join in. The album is still superb but the packaging isn't as it's hard to get the cd's out every time you want to listen to them and the packaging get's easily dented up every time you try to store it. I can never understand how the record companies operate, if they're trying to go all "Environmental", then why use up so much paper to make this packaging, when they can simply make it into a high-gloss booklet that inserts into a plastic jewel case, just like the way they did the Paul's Boutique album, so that the artwork will be protected and not fade out with time.』

『The Looney Tunes: "Reality Check" DVD compiles the second half of the webtoons, exclusively produced for the Looney Tunes website. I eagerly waited as these toons premiered, and then disappeared from the web during 2003, in anticipation of "Looney Tunes: Back in Action." As "Back In Action" was released on DVD, so were these compilations ("Reality..." and "Stranger than Fiction!").

The folks who are ripping these DVDs a new spindle hole are missing the point: These DVDs are NOT representing themselves as "Classic Looney Tunes," and certainly an uninformed/underinformed consumer would NEVER mistake this product as a repackage of the classic toons. YES, they are flash-animation based, HOWEVER, the audio is cleaned up from the original flash files, and is nowhere near as ear-piercing as they originally appeared on the internet. Those who gripe about these DVD sets obviously don't wish for the classic characters to be animated any longer, and are supportive of such other series as "Loonatics: Unleashed," the ultimate rip-off of the Looney Tunes legacy. To have the classic characters appear in NEW material, regardless of method of animation is fantastic! These DVDs should have sold out of their initial run, inspiring Warner to perhaps take a look at their Looney Tunes property a bit more closely.

The voice acting is NOT as bad as portrayed by these one-star doubters. In fact, some of the top voice talent available was tapped for this series, not the least of which being the all-star Joe Alaskey! Again, those negative reviewers are not taking in to account that nearly ALL original Looney Tunes voices were done by Mel Blanc, who sadly has not been with us (let alone speaking!) for many years now! The voice actors chosen for this set (as well as much of the new Looney Tunes animation) have been first-rate.

Could the negative response from these sets have been the reason why the new theatrical shorts have been appearing on overseas products (see "Looney Tunes: Back in Action" Australian version) instead of here in the states? Probably not, but if this sort of response keeps up, I'm sure Warner will turn its shoulder to the Looney Tunes as far as new property goes in the future, and continue producing the "Golden Collection" disc sets, and little else.

The gags are brilliant on this set, and the pairings are not likely to be seen elsewhere ever again (unless they release a new volume of webtoons, which I'm eagerly awaiting as well!). You be the judge, however. Certainly, many used and NEW copies are available from amazon.com and Amazon sellers - give them a try! What have you got to lose, save for a little shelf space between your Golden Collection sets?』

『Chose the Actron CP9145 after reading many reviews on other products and the full actron line, so I ordered one. Upon arrival at the shop the first problem I noticed was there was no 9 volt battery included with the kit. After a trip to the store to buy a battery I read all the instructions and started to use it. Turns out mine was defective, along the top 4 rows of the LCD display there was a block of cells where no numbers or letters would display. Blank spot, nothing there at all. This rendered data interpretation impossible. No local repair, no download fix, sorry! If it had this error, quite obvious on start up and should have been caught prior to leaving the factory, what else was wrong and lurking within? I returned the unit for a full refund and am now looking for a different manufacturer. Case also seemed light and unpadded so what out for that drop to the shop floor. May work great if you get a good one, but I would look at alternatives too.』

『I purchased this item because I was assuming I could connect the scanner to my PC via USB. According to the user's manual, there is an optional USB cable, but I can't find it anywhere. Actron should update the information they post, so customers don't get disappointed like me.』

(Looks good on paper, barely competent in practice)
『Purchased this scanner 2 months ago and it's use has been problematic at best. As advertised it's supposed to be able to interface with EEC, ALDL, ODB-1, ODB-2 and be CAN upgradeable. In general use it doesn't even see EEC, I don't own a GM vehicle so I can't test ALDL, ODB works but is sometimes sketchy and the upgrade to CAN was removed off the market I'm guessing a minimum of 6 months ago. BTW to top everything off the online update claim is a complete joke, those have been pulled off the web site and from other's claims utilize an archaic 16-bit application, not to mention a serial cable that is also no longer offered. Due to this experience I have severe doubts in purchasing any Actron products ever again.

『This thermometer works great. I love the fact that I can walk away from the grill (Holland Grill) and just wait for the food to reach set temperature. The range of the receiver is not as good as stated, but it does work!』

『I only bought this for the remote feature, the rest of the stuffs are of no interest to me. They should stop advertising the 100 ft range remote. Because in realty, this thing does not work beyond 4 meters.』

『The first unit received would not transmit a signal (30 feet) consistantly from my barbeque to my kitchen. I returned it and received another which seems to maintain an uninterrupted signal for the 30 minutes of outside cooking. An audible alarm which alerts one that the signal has been lost would be a vital improvement to this gadget. In the mean time, I will check the signal often and regularly. The reported temperatures seem to be accurate, the instructions are straigtforward and the two probes are handy.』

『Overall, I'm luke warm on this item. I purchased it off Amazon since it was the highest rated wireless thermometer. It certainly works well but there is a lot of room for improvement. After one 12-hour smoker run, here are my initial thoughts:

Pros:
*Multiple probes
*Easy to read display
*Long cords (approx 4') for convenience
*Decent range (could go almost anywhere in the house within 10 yards or line of sight)

Cons:
*Inconsistent signal - would sporadically lose/find the signal.
*No alert tone when signal is dropped.
*No low temperature alert.
*No backlight on display.
*Could make keys more intuitive.
*No room to add/purchase additional probes

My biggest complaints are the lack of alert tone when signal is dropped, and lack of low temperature alert and here's why; After firing up my smoker at 5am I wanted to get some shuteye. I took the wireless receiver into the living room where it still received signal (almost line of site, 10 yards away from smoker). It received a signal for 10 minutes or so and eventually I felt comfortable and fell asleep. I woke up an hour or so later and, at some point, the unit had lost the signal and failed to make any audible noise. Without this feature, or the low temp feature, it really requires you to monitor it manually. It would ad so much value for these two, simple software updates.

This was my first wireless grill thermometer but it seems pretty straight forward. I'd probably recommend to a friend but would search for a few alternatives as well.』

And although you still have to fix the problem, the scanner will deactivate the "check engine" light on your dash so you'll no longer be distracted while you drive. The scanner is easy to connect to your vehicle, and a user friendly menu provides a variety of information in a snap, including live engine data parameters (PIDs). Built-in help screens help you interpret the data, and you can view freeze frame data, which provides a "snapshot" of the vehicle's operating conditions at the time of the fault. Meanwhile, an internal 9-volt battery stores the latest test results for later review.

Use the Monitor Status and I/M readiness (Inspection/Maintenance) function to determine if your vehicle is ready for an emissions test. I/M Readiness is an excellent function to use prior to having a vehicle inspected for compliance with a state emissions program, so you'll have a good idea if your vehicle will pass the standards.

Another important thing to remember is that all emission testing facilities will fail a vehicle that has the "check engine" light illuminated at the time of the test--even if it is only lit to remind you of a past-due oil change or 60,000-mile tune-up. With this scanner, you can shut off the check engine light and pass the emissions test on your terms.

The menu also alerts you of any pending DTCs and reads the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) status. By reading the MIL status the scanner gives insight into what might cause your "check engine" light to turn on in the near future. In this way, the scanner also provides some preventive measures to help you keep a close eye on your vehicle's systems.

The scanner comes with CD software that contains 5,000 Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and their descriptions.

The ScanGaugeII includes a diagnostic scan tool that can check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), clear the codes, and turn off the "Check Engine" light on 99% of 1996 and newer vehicles. (However, this feature may not work on some trouble codes in Dodge vehicles.) If any DTCs are found, the ScanGauge will show how many there are as well as the codes themselves. Then you can use the Internet or repair manual to find out which is the failed part is, so you can repair it yourself or know what needs to be fixed at the mechanic's shop.

Multifunction Trip Computer
Four sets of data are automatically recorded on the trip computer: Current, Today, Previous Day, and Tank Trip. The "current" trip restarts after the engine has been off for more than 3 minutes. The "today" trip restarts after the vehicle has not moved for 9 hours, and the data from "today" is moved to "previous day" when you restart the car, so you don't have to reset the computer every time you begin a trip. "Tank trip" resets when you fill up the tank. It can provide you with "to empty" data and other useful information, which can be viewed any time during the trip. The trip computer also integrates information from the Cost Per Mile gauge. Simply enter how much you paid per gallon or liter of fuel, and the ScanGauge will automatically calculate the cost of your trips as you drive. (Great idea, poor execution)
『For the most part, other reviewers are correct - it is fun and the kids are wowed at first. They all loved it when they first got theirs and enjoyed using it a lot for a while. But eventually the poor design of the door gets really bothersome.

The door hinges on the bottom which at first seems OK. However, when withdrawing money, if there is any significant number of coins in the bank at all, several are bound to get caught in the hinge. Then you are stuck prying them out or the door popping off the hinge entirely. Then you have to lay the thing on its back and drop all the coins back in, re-attach the door, close the door and then stand it back up again. If we had ours mounted to the wall (which is an option) it would be an even worse pain having to constantly take if off the wall.

Of the three we had, the oldest eventually stopped allowing withdrawls and would revert to asking for the PIN when you the withdrawl button. And for the other two, As often as our kids wanted to open theirs and count their money, these just weren't worth keeping. Ours went up for sale on craigslist.

『The game arrived quickly and it was intact. The checkerboard and pieces are in great shape. But the box is large, which makes it difficult to store in my closet. Also, it's flimsy. Already one corner of it was crushed in transit. Not really the fault of the seller. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.』

『Very good scanner, cleared the code from my 2000 x5 in about 2 minutes total time. saved me $70 by doing it myself. I used this twice and it did a good job diagnosing the problem, the recording and playback really come in handy when troubleshooting.』

『Scanner works great on my 94 Lesabre. I tried a Blue Point(Snap on)OBD1/OBD2 that did not work on my Lesabre. This unit pulls the codes in seconds. Live data output is nice and provides a lot of useful info. Be aware that the USB drivers for the scanner USB cable are not found on the CD. What you have to do is load the software. Then add USB support. The software asks where to look for the drivers. It is not on the CD as would be expected. The USB drivers un zipped and loaded into the directory where the scanner software installed on your C drive.』

『The Actron p-9185 worked good when I first received it. But it always showed a low battery reading. The device came with an usb cable to do updates. When I tried to do the update with the software they provided with the device it went blank and would not turn on anymore. Now it is in the repair-shop to be fixed with the only explanation that my anti-virus may have caused this problem. With unsuccessful e-mails and phone calls to the repair shop I finally found out that they were three weeks behind in repairs. I still don't know when I'm getting it back.』

『This is the best to come yet! I'm selling my Actronscanner CP9145 to a mechanic . With this Upgrade you'll earn the title as a techician. The Actron CP9185 has reached far beyond my expectations. I used it today for the first time, considering I was curious about the back lit display.
Pior to operating the scan tool I download the firmware update. I didn't see the back lit display when powering on. Only to view a normal display similar my Actron CP9145. Now don't get me wrong, this was a great investment&still is . However, the CP9185 Elite superceeds all earlier Actron scanners to my view. With all the features O2 monitors, temp. reading&graphing data, etc. What more can one ask for? For those that can't make the repairs themselve, knowing whats the problems are intimidates auto repair shops. I gave it a 5 star because its easy to operate, the codes are strait forward. Now remember this the CD is a must have that is included with a New CP9185 Autoscanner. I attempted to purchase one on ebay, I did'nt win the bid. Only later to know that the CD was not included. Without that no upgrade is considered&the manual is included on the CD. In conclusion, all I'm saying is simply this a must have Autoscanner. The name Elite is what it is.』

『Only had this for a day so I have not explored all options, but I've used Actron scanners for years now - they are awesome for weekend warriors. They don't have all of the functionality of the Snap-On, Matco and OEM scanners - but Actron's scanners are fast, simple and reliable. Perfect for those of us that need a scanner but can't justify spending $1500-$15,000 on the high end stuff.

I've used the full gambit of scanners, and these little orange things do about 80% of what the big boys do, for a fraction of the price.

Keep in mind that no scanner will fix the car for you, if you really don't know your way around modern electronic controls and automotive service, this will not help you.』
