(Good first album)

I bought this album because "the checks" are playing support for "Muse" at their Melbourne concert, (which I'm heading off to in just over an hour!) and found it to be excellent.

These 5 lads from New Zealand obviously are influenced by the Rolling Stones but that's not a bad thing. Excellent album, great energy, I'm looking forward to seeing them live.

kendra foster has been with the funk mob about a few years I saw her live in the atl singing bounce to this and she could enchabt you easily her voice is amazing laid back but she fits in with p funk georghe clinton could always pick em this cd is ahead of time like all p funk before rihanna, ciara, and beyonce and everybodsy else dipped in techno kendra foster took it and warperd it into her own making you think erykah badu and joi are strange this cd out weirds them but then again kendra's with the p and dna for hip hop and everything that came after funkadelic's landed in 1970. the funk store has copies of this seriously it's worth the money you like your neosoul added with techno and other freaky things roll with kendra and if you can't get enough kendra you should check the children of production album.
I first discovered Kendra at a George Clinton concert. I found she has her own album; I finally was ready to buy it a few years later - it seems to be out of print, so I had to pay extra for it - about $23! But it was well worth it. I really like this CD - it is easy going, but firm funk and soul with bits of other influences thrown in. If you have to spend $23 to buy this too, get it - it is worth it.
Check her out live with George CLinton's P-Funk ALl-Stars or Parliamentfunkadelic...all the tracks except 4 one of 'em r sweet...the production is so-so...but the tracks r so hot

Although most may laugh at this at this, because any person who owns a car should know how to check the fluids. This goess into details of different grades of oil and how to test cool as well as transmission fluid and so on. I think the best part of this video is about picking the right brand of each product. I actually was amazed that I learned a few things even tho I do some of my own repairs.

Jack Black, Andy Dick and Co. do what they can in this pointless and goofy movie. As stoner films go this one just doesn't have many laughs or story for that matter. If you like stoner films, stick to the early Cheech&Chong films. Andy Dick made me laugh a few times, but that's about it. Black has a small role, but he makes his presence known as usual.
I don't get all the 4 and 5-star reviews for this movie. I watched it during a free preview weekend, and I suppose I got my money's worth. I like stoner movies as much as the next person, but this one isn't even in the same league as a Cheech and Chong movie or Half-Baked. It was not funny, and didn't really go anywhere - and what the hell was with the ending?

Jack Black was somewhat funny in his small role, but I didn't even chuckle until the last 10 minutes. The funniest part was the series of answering machine messages that played during the credits (which I missed part of due to annoying movie channel voiceover ads). Maybe one has to be stoned to find this movie funny. However, a good movie will be funny regardless of the number of tokes taken while watching it (watch The Big Lebowski for a good example).

I have to agree with the reviewer who said the movie's title was apt because the bongwater is the unwanted leftover. There are much better pot-themed movies out there.
GREAT pot-head, laugh fest movie. I thought my luck was bad until I saw this guy! Jack Black makes a small but FUNNY appearance as a trippin' farmer. A must have for any Cheech&Chong collector!

This movie was nothing but rubbish - it went absolutely nowhere. It wasn't even funny - I hardly got a chuckle at most.

I agree with everything the other people have said that have given this movie a 1-star rating.

DO NOT make the same mistake as me and buy this DVD - rent it first if you REALLY want to waste 2 hours of your time...

AFRICA SCREAMS has been in the public domain for years. This dusted-off version looks and sounds the best of a-n-y version I've seen. This is the first version I've seen with the Nassour Studios logo opening the film and it has closed-captioning, as well. I skip the colorized version, as I oppose that sort of thing. However, Legend Films has made this one worth the wait. The scene where the tribal chief is scared white by the giant gorilla is here intact, as well, whereas I've often seen it where his face has been blurred over with darkness. I've found this to be a fine film of the team's, as opposed to, say, MEXICAN HAYRIDE or LITTLE GIANT. If you're still hunting a fine print of AFRICA SCREAMS for your A&C collection ... well, here it is.
This Goodtimes Home Video edition-2000, is an excellent print. I enjoy this particulary silly A+C film. If you are an A+C fan get this edition, which is out of print. Other public domain copies of "Africa Screams" are very bad, but not this Goodtimes edition. It is worth a little extra money. I read that the Image Entertainment edition was also a good print but that is O.O.P. also - 79 minutes B+W - I am writing about the disc pictured, which I bought days ago. I do not know why it says "United Artists" and 2001 under Product Information. My disc says "Goodtimes Home Video" and the year is 2000. Again, I am writing about the edition pictured, which is NOT United Artists and is not 2001 but is 2000.

The film starts with a comic scene in a bookstore. Two men offer $1,000 for a map in the book "Dark Safari". A woman offers $2,500 for the same map. Stanley Livington remembers that detail very well (too good to be true?). [The story and its subject are certainly dated.] Clyde Beatty plays himself. Shemp Howard plays another near-sighted character (like his role in a "Blondie" movie). There are plenty of gags to amuse the viewers. Buzz overhears Diana talking about the real purpose of the expedition - its not for a giant orangutan. Frank Buck plays himself. There are comic situations, most are still funny. There is a very comic scene with a lion skin and a real lion. Clyde Beatty does his lion taming act.

After this the boys find diamonds just laying on the ground. They follow the trail to where it leads. The natives have them over for dinner. A secret friend unties them. There is more intrigue and comic chases. More fun results from a failure to communicate. The natives are appalled by a giant gorilla, and flee. Buzz takes off down the river on a raft. What will happen to poor Stanley now?

Back in Manhattan Stanley is living large in a big building with his name on it. Then we see his partner and the cause of his wealth. [Is there a moral here?] This film is not as funny as earlier films.

Many cheapie companies offer this title at a lower price. Pass up those horrible copies and buy this excellent IMAGE ENTERTAINMENT / HAL ROACH STUDIOS DVD mastered from the original 35mm NITRATE NEGATIVE!

This is the same excellent master film used by Image for their Laserdisc release. The only thing missing here is the Bloopers&Out-takes that were on the Laserdisc.

This movie is the best of the five independent films that Abbott&Costello made in my opinion. And it stands up better than most of their 1950's Universal films. Where else will you see Bud&Lou teamed up with some of the THREE STOOGES? Shemp Howerd and Joe Besser join Abbott&Costello's safari to add to the laughs!
Besser would later join Bud&Lou for their 1950's TV show as "Stinky" before becoming a Stooge!
if this is a bad print then why they release it again every one knows that all the other releases are bad prints so then they would know they wouldnt make much money which is why I think this print will be the best quality dvd of africa Scraems ever released. They should also release jack and the beanstalk to but with a good quality print.if this dvd good enough its a Low chance but it may push the other compinies to put out the abbott and costello films that are not avaivble on Dvd yet.

I actually love my Versajette! I've owned it for two years, and use it everday with no problems. I did have trouble at first getting it to work with my computer but G7 sent me the patch I needed and it's been smooth sailing ever since. I can't speak to the check printing part of it because I don't use it to print checks. I only got it because it was free from Fry's after a $[...] but I have to say it's been the best printer I've ever had! The absolute best thing about it is the ink; it takes FOREVER to run out. I only have to buy new cartridges 2 times a year and I print a LOT of documents, pictures, etc. I think it's a great basic everyday printer!
I own both the M300 and M400... they are crap... rebadged lexmark printers.
Customer support will not replace a defective cartridge.

Ink not compliant with my bank. and wastes lots of blank check paper.
Its not a miracle printer- it clogs quite easily, and there isn't mac software for it, but I run the software on my mac under "parallels" and it works fine. its your typical cheapo ink jet, but it does save me money on checks.
While this printer will do what any inkjet printer will do, it will not print checks from Quickbooks!!!!

I'm sorry to say that I couldn't get this printer to cooperate with my computer. I spent most of a day to get the software to install and for me to be able to use it. I am not a computer expert but I've never had such problems before. I never did get it to work. I'm willing to say that it was my fault totally. I returned it and must say, I was very happy with the return policy of J&R. They took it back and refunded me everything - including the initial postage. Way cool! I'd order from them again - just not this printer.

Product was shipped and arrived earlier than expected. Great price saved $15 purchasing it on Amazon.
Well made (in China, of course), heavy wool, good looking, sturdy product of classic design. Looks like a shirt but serves the function of a sweater or jacket. Wear it over a regular shirt or a turtleneck because the wool is too scratchy to go against bare skin. It is warm but not windproof. I had a similar product called a CPO jacket in my teens over 4 decades ago. This Woolrich product is just as good as or better than that jacket, which I wore all the time in fall and winter.

(A great resource, ONLY.)

Some good reference material (it is only 30 pages). Some of it references NEC which means you are lost unless you have code book available. The 4th edition is for the 2005 code. Good chart for conduit fill. Not sure how much the page on swimming pool lighting gets used.
I am not an electrician but as a licensed builder and home inspector I find the various Code Check's (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc) to be outstanding references, and the illustrations are a great help. Contrary to another rating comment, all the Code Checks I have do identify the particular code and year, either on the front cover or in the introduction. Anyone who pounds a nail or shops the electrical section at the local "big box" store should have copies of Code Check. Homeowners are notorious for saying (especially with electrical repairs) "Well that's the way my father taught me." Times and codes have changed and Code Check will keep you up to date and SAFE.
Excellent information. I also liked the hard cover pages to keep from getting damaged. Very easy to understand also.
All these code check books are excellent resources for contractors and field inspectors.
However, I am very disappointed about the fact that Code Check never puts down what version of code book referenced. Instead, they simply put "updated to the latest version of xxx code"
As we all know, every State adopts a new code every few years (typically 3 years).
HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO KNOW IF THE CODE CHECK IS CURRENT IF THEY DON'T TELL US WHICH CODE IS IT BASED ON ?
This product is getting 3 stars from me because without knowing which code it's referenced, it's no different than any "build a safe house" for DIYers, which we already have tons of these laying around in any hardware store.
If Code Check takes the time, compare and update their content concurrent with the code updates, then it's worth 6 stars.

I bought this book for clinical and as an additional study guide. This is an excellent book! I would highly recommend it! Several people in my class saw this and purchased it.
I am currently using this book for clinicals and it is great. It easy to understand and it has many pictures, which is helpful if you are a visual person. Everything is laid out in an organized fashion (Description -->Causes -->Complications -->Assessment -->Diagnostics -->Treatment -->Nsg Diagnosis -->Nursing Interventions). Invaluable resource for nursing students and nurses!
This book has allowed me to review a disease with ease. Only the needed information is in this handy book. All of the dieases are alphabetized for a quick reference. I particularly find helpful the disease definition, the brief pathophysiology of the disease and the signs and syptoms. With the help of this book, my nurse processing paper work is completed much faster! This book should be recommended for all nursing courses and nurses as well!

Easy to use, very practical stuff. Gets right to the heart of the matter. I am a professional and use the Code Check books often.
Great to have on hand when you need to reference certain building codes and don't want to search through the actual code book. Great for field use. Durable and tough. Well done.
For my purposes, this book wasn't as handy of a reference as I thought it would be. It has lots of pictures and is flashy, but I ended up using books about framing and foundations to really get enough information to be useful in building a shed.
Excellent knowledge base for the DIY and pro. This series of books will show you everything you need to know to do it right the first time and pass those crucial inspections.
Although the graphics seem simplistic at first glance, they make the information easy to grasp. I had several "ah-ha, I get it" moments when browsing for information. I actually enjoyed looking at this code reference. That's a first!
