The Looney Tunes: "Reality Check" DVD compiles the second half of the webtoons, exclusively produced for the Looney Tunes website. I eagerly waited as these toons premiered, and then disappeared from the web during 2003, in anticipation of "Looney Tunes: Back in Action." As "Back In Action" was released on DVD, so were these compilations ("Reality..." and "Stranger than Fiction!").

The folks who are ripping these DVDs a new spindle hole are missing the point: These DVDs are NOT representing themselves as "Classic Looney Tunes," and certainly an uninformed/underinformed consumer would NEVER mistake this product as a repackage of the classic toons. YES, they are flash-animation based, HOWEVER, the audio is cleaned up from the original flash files, and is nowhere near as ear-piercing as they originally appeared on the internet. Those who gripe about these DVD sets obviously don't wish for the classic characters to be animated any longer, and are supportive of such other series as "Loonatics: Unleashed," the ultimate rip-off of the Looney Tunes legacy. To have the classic characters appear in NEW material, regardless of method of animation is fantastic! These DVDs should have sold out of their initial run, inspiring Warner to perhaps take a look at their Looney Tunes property a bit more closely.

The voice acting is NOT as bad as portrayed by these one-star doubters. In fact, some of the top voice talent available was tapped for this series, not the least of which being the all-star Joe Alaskey! Again, those negative reviewers are not taking in to account that nearly ALL original Looney Tunes voices were done by Mel Blanc, who sadly has not been with us (let alone speaking!) for many years now! The voice actors chosen for this set (as well as much of the new Looney Tunes animation) have been first-rate.

Could the negative response from these sets have been the reason why the new theatrical shorts have been appearing on overseas products (see "Looney Tunes: Back in Action" Australian version) instead of here in the states? Probably not, but if this sort of response keeps up, I'm sure Warner will turn its shoulder to the Looney Tunes as far as new property goes in the future, and continue producing the "Golden Collection" disc sets, and little else.

The gags are brilliant on this set, and the pairings are not likely to be seen elsewhere ever again (unless they release a new volume of webtoons, which I'm eagerly awaiting as well!). You be the judge, however. Certainly, many used and NEW copies are available from amazon.com and Amazon sellers - give them a try! What have you got to lose, save for a little shelf space between your Golden Collection sets?
I rented this for a dollar last week, and I want my dollar back!
The other reviewers have done an excellent job of bashing this abomination already. The "Survivor" take-off had one laugh (I now forget what that was, the rest was so bad), but the rest was unfunny. Fans will have noticed the occasional plagiarism of classic LT lines such as "I'm only twee and a half years old", but even these were placed in contexts that didn't make a lick of sense.
If you must buy this DVD, please burn it and send the ashes to Warner Bros.

This is exactly what I needed and wanted. Very user friendly with a large display. If you want a nice OBD tool that will diagnose most everything and you don't want it to mount on the dash this is it look no further. It resets the lights on the dash effortlessly. The manual is intuitive, easy to read, and spells everything out in plain English.
I have had 3 different hand-held diagnostic scanners, and I own a roadside assistance business. I use them a lot. This is the best one I have ever had. NOTE: I would recommend that no matter which one of these things you get, always get one with a back-lighted display. Otherwise, they are often very hard to see.
This is my first experience with this technology, so I am a beginner at this. However the unit works as described for my needs of knowing why the check engine light is on and what the trouble code means. It lets you save the trouble codes and also lets you reset the car's unit to clear the trouble codes and shut off the check engine light.

The software was a disappointment. I installed it and had error messages. I am not sure what to do with them so I gave up. It communicates successfully with my 2003 Camry. It has saved me three trips to the dealer and hundreds of dollars, so I'll keep it.
This Scanner does everything a do it your selfer needs to do at home. I have not even began to use all of it. I've only ues the basic programs and can't wait until I need it more in depth. ( I really don't hope to have to use it more, that would mean my cars are breaking down) The price is paid for wit hjust one use when you look at what a shop charges.

I highly reccomend the Actron CP9180. I had a cheaper tool that only gave you the code and not what the code stood for. I have wasted so much time looking up what the code meant. With this tool it tells you the code and what the code stands for. It has many other diagnostic features that the cheap scanners do not.
This product is well worth the Amazon Price! It is a Nice Quality easy to use tool. I have used this on various foreign and domestic cars with OBD-II and it has always been compatable, and had the code definition in the tool.

This is a nifty little device that attaches to your vehicle's OBDII port under the dash. It is adaptable to most vehicles (visit Scangauge's website to be sure yours is on the list). Interestingly, it interfaces via an ethernet port. I used it on a Ford Taurus, A Mercury Grand Marquis, and a Dodge Caravan. Yes, it displays real time MPG data. It also gives you the average time weighted average MPG. RPM, MPH,and TPS data- no problem. Coolant temperature, Ditto. Manifold absolute pressure depends on the vehicle. Same with intake air temperature. It does not give the actual O2 sensor reading, only if the loop is closed or open. It will definitely teach you skills to improve your fuel economy. Surprisingly, the larger your engine the better you will do because you can take advantage of low rpm high torque situations. I got 29.1 MPG with my Grand Mark using it (Averaged over 65 miles in city, highway and country backroads passing Amish Buggies) Philadelphia to Lancaster, PA. I would have given it 5 stars but the materials it is made with are lightweight and I'm not sure if it will stand the test of time. It is a very useful gadget, and it is a shame we can't hook it up to a laptop to send the data to the state DOT to pass emissions inspection. I suggest ScanGauge look into this, it would probably only take a software upgrade, I know the hardware is up to task. I also suggest they encase it in shockproof rubber to protect it.
I purchased this to help with getting better fuel mileage. It provides instant feedback on what does and does not help. My mileage before using the product was 28mpg. My first tank using the scanguage was 36mpg. Going to work I can get as high is 42 and then 39 on the return trip. Based on my experience so far it will pay for itself in less than 18 months.

Just got my ScanGuage II this afternoon. I already think it's the best accessory I've bought for my smart car. It's a nice compact size, powered from the OBD2 port and has exactly the right gauges on each screen.

The ScanGauge II is an absolutely necessary accessory for any car. I don't even watch the analog instruments on the dash any more (except for the fuel gauge) because the ScanGauge II presents all the necessary data in accurate digital form. I calibrated the speed with my GPS so now I don't have to worry about my inaccurate analog speedometer. I currently have the display set to show speed, MPG, fuel flow, and water temperature. It is a little bit pricey, but in my opinion it is worth it.
The ScanGaugeII is a 3-in-1 automotive computer that combines a multifunction trip computer, diagnostic scan tool, and up to 37 digital gauges in one small package. The ScanGaugeII includes a diagnostic scan tool that can check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), clear the codes, and turn off the "Check Engine" light on 99% of 1996 and newer vehicles. (However, this feature may not work on some trouble codes in Dodge vehicles.) If any DTCs are found, the ScanGauge will show how many there are as well as the codes themselves. Then you can use the Internet or repair manual to find out which is the failed part is, so you can repair it yourself or know what needs to be fixed at the mechanic's shop.

Multifunction Trip Computer
Four sets of data are automatically recorded on the trip computer: Current, Today, Previous Day, and Tank Trip. The "current" trip restarts after the engine has been off for more than 3 minutes. The "today" trip restarts after the vehicle has not moved for 9 hours, and the data from "today" is moved to "previous day" when you restart the car, so you don't have to reset the computer every time you begin a trip. "Tank trip" resets when you fill up the tank. It can provide you with "to empty" data and other useful information, which can be viewed any time during the trip. The trip computer also integrates information from the Cost Per Mile gauge. Simply enter how much you paid per gallon or liter of fuel, and the ScanGauge will automatically calculate the cost of your trips as you drive. I bought this to find out what codes were coming up do to a check engine light. Worked very well and has been very useful since, if your into do it yourself car repair. The biggest benefit is reading the codes, clearing the codes and turning off the check engine light.
First, I want to address the issues from the complainers:

For the reviewer that complained the unit was too big - You do realize this unit is larger because it has a fuller display and gives you more information than those tiny handheld units?

For the reviewer that stated about the cord being short - These were designed with the professional mechanic in mind. The same people who usually have the car/truck on a lift. At that height, the area where the OBDII connector is (which is usually under the dashboard near the drivers knees) this puts it at the right height.

For the reviewer that said they wished there was a cheaper option for the OBDI vehicles - You do realize that most of the cars before OBDII can be read with an ignition key sequence, or for the most part, with a jumper wire or paper clip? I have done this for years. That is all the OBDI kits do. The create a "jumper wire" between these 2 points to cause the engine light to flash to get your codes.

For the reviewer that stated that it does not show live data - Are you sure you know what you are looking for? Or are you trying to describe something different. It has the live data and freeze frame data. With the car running, it shows current voltages, temperatures, RPM's, etc.

If you are looking to purchase this, but are unsure, don't let the few negative reviewers steer you away. This is a capable product in the hands of someone who has basic mechanical knowledge. It is going to read the computers codes and give them to you. It is your responsibility to ake that information and diagnose your problem. The unit does exactly what it advertises it does, and it dies it very well. This is actually my second one I bought. I loaned my first one out, and never got it back.

You might remember Juvenile for giving you great albums like Soulja Rags, 400 Degreez and Tha G Code. Juvenile has been down a slippery slope of wackness since Project English. Even though this album is not as bad as the previous two that came before it, its still a forgettable release. The album starts off good with Get Ya Hustle On where Juvi attempts to make a song of substance. Around The Way and Sets Go Up(feat Whacko)are pretty good too. Even though the hook is goofy as hell, I like Keep Talkin(feat Red Eyezz and Skip). I know You Know(feat Trey Songz) is a decent cut for the ladies that should have been the first single instead of Rodeo. Pop U features Ludacris and Fat Joe who along with Juvenile give a good performance. Holla Back might be effective in the club scene. The album has many songs that are weak though. Rodeo was a bad choice for a first single(that video is a cheap rendition of the movie Player's Club) and it was boring! Its not the only dull song on here though. Animal and Say It To Me Now(feat Kango)are bland tracks that will knock you out like shots of Hennessey. Addicted(featuring a hilariously bad performance by Brian Mcknight) is not even a song. Its just Juvenile talking; no not taking; WHINING about some girl stalking him. Even though Skip's verse was comical, Loose Booty(also featuring 8-Ball) is straight garbage. Who's Ya Daddy is plain stupid and so is What's Happening(D-list Sir Mix-a-lot rhymes over a A-list beat:Priceless). Bun B has a dope verse on Rock Like That but the track is still filler and Why Not feat Skip is Ha part 2. More Disposables: Way I Be Leanin(feat Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Skip and Whacko) and Break A Brick Down. Bottom Line: Juvenile's Reality Check is not his worst album(Hello, Project English anybody?)but its still a forgettable release that might not be reached for years to come like his first three albums on Cash Money. Standout Tracks: GET YOUR HUSTLE ON, AROUND THE WAY, SET'S GO UP, KEEP TALKIN, HOLLA BACK and POP U.
Even though I think "400 degreez" has more solid hits in the form of 3 songs (Back that a** up, Ha (and the Jay-z remix), Follow me now), I still like this album. Juve seems to have grown in his lyrics and musical style. He explores more music themes instead of that hot-southern sound from Mannie Fresh. He also sounds angrier- actually like his voice sounds like he's growling most of the time.lol. My fave songs: What's happenin, Pop U, Rodeo. I think the album is very listenable and has at least one or more songs anyone would like.
Get ya hustle on, get ya hustle on! This is the Juvenile album I liked the best out of all of them.
The songs on this c.d. are just plain wack. I loved the old Juvenile so i thought i may as well go ahead and buy this album. But I was wrong to do that. Juvenile's last album was hot and this album was nowhere near that. No creativity and the hooks sucked. Production was also awful. Sorry Juve but this album was not your best. Could have done a lot better.

This album is one of their best!
I have been a fan since 1991 and will always be. Their talent and creativity is at the top! Few people can grasp their writings and style, that's sad because it satisfies the soul.
This is a strong effort by the californian aliens of fusion. It is one the best records of the 90's. The compositions are sophisticated but the solos are still soulful and bluesy (especially those by Scott Henderson). I'm myself a bass player for about 12 years and I think Gary Willis is one the most interesting modern bass players. His solos are very impressive. The man has so many good ideas and his groove is great. The track"Nite Club"(written by Gary Willis) alone make this album a must buy."Foreign Affairs"(written by Scott Kinsey, a wonderful keyboard player) is also a great fusion tune even if it's very Weather Reportish (but how to avoid this influence ?) .
This band is stellar period. This album is stellar period. There's an amazing fusion tune "Foreign affairs" that alone is worth the price. The fantastic musicianship of this combo is quite easy to understand from the exact beginning. The short Stella by starlight rendition is behind words, the harmonization conventional but courageous, consistent but free, and moreover short. In a couple of minutes there is a true story, it's complete. It's a jewel. You don't have to blow a hundred choruses to explain a tune, to say the thing the tune wants you to say. Bird was the epitome of this approach. A short solo, but beyond words, technical challenging, lyrical unreachable and complete in itself. A couple of choruses maximum, and if you are a master player that's it. I don't like the Coltrane approach to endless improvisation. It's really boring in my opinion !!! Talkin' about this album the rest of the music is heavy fusion played at incredible level. I love the songs, I love the album, I love a lot of solos from all the guys. I don't like Scott Henderson's solo work when he tries to play too bluesy on difficult chord changes. I am a Jazz guitarist myself; I would prefer a more tonal approach, less pentatonic and guitaristic and more musical, more oriented to chord meanings. But that's oly my taste of course. He is an amazing player obviously, a scientist, he could do whatever he wants, it is simply his choice to play like that, and there's nothing wrong with it. I prefer more straight ahead solos... that's all. In the end this is a great album, probably their best. A great band. In my opinion best band name for a modern futuristic band, strongly rooted in blues, jazz, fusion tradition but with a musical guru approach. Fantastic. Fusion super heroes !!!!

Seagram (R.I.P.), representin' East Oakland, Cali, definitely delivers on his second album, 1994's Reality Check On Rap-A-Lot Records. He is a great lyricist and has a good, loud rapping voice and a good flow to go with that. This cat can spit. Beats are vintage bay area G-Funk, and are relaxing and melodic. A great summertime cruisin' G-Funk era anthem is "Eastside" with cool layers of keyboard melody. Another one is "Gangstas and Players" (f/ Too Short) both kickin some street oriented, pimp game. The beat is cool Oakland swingin' with a neat whiny synth in the hook. With styles so different, the 2 go well together here. "Gangsta Livin'" is a cool joint where Seag discusses life in the hood without glorifying it. He flows really hard here/ "The Town" (F/ Angie and Gangsta P) is a dark anthem of Oakland. The beat is vintage Rap-A-Lot almost southern style. "13 Deep" has a mega-relaxed, smooth, twangy guitar diff driven G-Funk beat. The lyrics showcase Gangsta P and seag trying to keep their head up living in a crime ridden neighborhood and growing up in the legal system (California Youth Authority). "Birth" definitely rings true. This joint is about loving the children you give birth to and being there for them. The beat is upbeat and melody driven funk. This song definitely touches the heart. It has an Isley Brothers "For The Love Of You" sample. Another deep song is "Where Do We Go From Here" where Seagram analyzes the plight of losing friends and family members and tries to move on. The beat is sunny R and B inflected with a great hook by Suzette. "No Matter The Cost" has a cool G-Funk atmosphere with a sweet and sunny beat perfect to roll to down the avenue to. I would say that this album is as sunny Cali G-Funk era as Warren G and Snoop Dogg with respect to the vibes the beats themselves give off even though the lyrics can be hard core. I love the emotional and lyrical depth Seagram puts into this classic. It is expensive and rare now, but I recommend saving up some extra ends now before it goes for 100 plus dollars. Fans of 2 Pac, Scarface, Big Syke and the like will definitely dig Seagram. Too bad, he had to fall victim to the game. RIP to a real rapper.
I am a big fan of west coast rap. Im proud to say i dont own any southern california albums. The bay area lost a legend that many people dont know about. Do some research. Everyone can rap about livin tough, but who can you trust. They do it for the money, SEAG does it to paint a picture using every sense. Dont let the other review turn you away! Seagrams rhymes had a feel to them, they showed up above alot of other rappers. It's like the people that know, know when someone is trying to impress on tracks about sh#t they ain't really doing, but some other people fall for it. And the people that know are normally up on things too because they know when it's realness that someone is rapping. And thats what Seagram was doing, rapping real. He knew what his limits were about saying things on records and a lot of people can relate to that because they are in the same game, it takes one to know one. His beats were heavy and he always gave his whole in his lyrics because he is far from fake. He never changed his style and made things worse without cause like tupac after joining deathrow. He had true heart and was someone who was deep in the real drugs game, thats why he never talked the wrong sh#t. Sadly he got murdered which too is something that comes with how deep you get. I found these very easy to use. Just crush, shake and rub on what you wish to test. I was a bit confused when I got a yellow/orangish color as some others also mentioned but I found their site online which explained that. Apparantly the yellow color is just the chemical in it and you should see that. Pink or red is what you hope to not see. That means lead! I wish they explained all that in the insert a bit more but it is online in detail should you need it...
Follow the directions, and this works very well. After not finding lead on my plates, I tested the stick on a surface that I was certain contained lead, and the tip immediately turned a bright pink.
I wanted to test the paint in our room before i started sanding. At first everything I tested went was from a yellow to a sort of an yellow orange color, which the instructions did not explain. After spending sometime on there website I found orange signifies barium which is a lead substitute. Also I tested some paint in another area and got purple, which signifies there is tin in the paint. Eventually I came a cross a painted area inside our air ducts behind the vent. (Why the inside of our vent was painted i have no idea) I tested this and it turned a reddish pink. There is a detailed color chart on there website which i compared it to and it was around 8% lead. Yikes. guess I will be removing my ductwork.

After doing a few of these tests I learned to lightly rub the tip of the tester into the paint for 30 seconds, don't mash it in too hard or you wont get good results.

All in all this worked great. They really should put the information on there website in the instructions though.
This product was well-reviewed by Consumer Reports and seems to live up to the review. It is easy to use. As another reviewer pointed out, be aware that red paint requires special handling because it can result in a false positive. I followed the direction to rub the item with vinegar and rinse and dry it. This eliminated the false positive reading I was getting.
The test kits used to check suspected funishings for lead. It identified two sets of louvered blinds as having lead in their composition. We have disposed of these and happy we used this test to check.

I ordered this headlamp to use for work where I have to run security wires in attics,basements and crawl spaces that usually have little to no lights. Whats great about this product is that its small and lightweight so I can keep it in the side pocket of my cargo pants at all times while Im working so whenever I need it I can pull it out of my pocket and put it back when Im done. I have other headlamps that are big and bulky and have large battery packs that sit on the back of your head that just arent as convienient. There are a few different levels of brightness that you can choose which will also reflect on your battery life. If I lost or broke this one I would pick up another to replace it.
I was looking for a replacement for an old led petzel I had lost. This is my third pezel in 16 years and they have only gotten replaced because I left them sitting on a rock somewhere! This one is greatly improved from my previous model (sorry I don't remember the name - but it was one of the first LED models) First, it is much, much easier to access the battery compartment. Second, the previous model did not tilt, so that is nice when you are using it to work under the sink or just talking to someone. Third, this one has 3 lighting modes to save battery life plus an emergency blinker. Additionally, the rubber seal in this one looks a little more durable although I did not have a problem with the previous seal. I also bought the case which is compact and much better than the mesh bag I used in the past. You could fit(tightly) spare batteries in it if you desired. I am very satisfied with this one, and I bought the bright yellow to help me keep track of it in low light conditions!! I am looking forward to the fall when I will use it more in the woods, but overall as usual, I am very happy with the product.
Okay, I mostly used this to stumble back to my tent "after hours" but, boy was I always glad to have it. I've done a number of trips in the Grand Canyon over the years and bought, lost and burned through countless flashlights, lanterns and other light-producing gizmos. I like my Tikka the best. Small, lightweight (I can stuff it in my pocket for later use), bright, and seems to run forever. It even fits my big head. Plenty of light to read by--in fact, my only wish is that it had one more, lower light setting. But that's a nit pick. They should give you one of these--and a Leatherman--when you graduate from high school or college. More useful than a degree in English Lit and lasts longer than a commencement address.
I bought this because I am going camping soon and needed a flashlight so I can see my way to the restroom in the middle of the night. I have been playing around with it for the past few days and it has an amazing bright white light. It also works really well as a night light while reading. It has a low setting that won't bother your girlfriend while you read at night. It is super light and you can hardly feel it on your forehead. I love this light.

I purchased this product for my business checking account. My incorporation took longer than expected, so I did not attempt to use it until 6 weeks later. It would not work, I tried all the suggestions (obviously they have issues with these) and finally gave up. (they use empty HP cartridges refilled) Since it had been 6 weeks since my purchase, they would not exchange the item or refund it. What a bunch of BS

Suitable product, but by the time you add the cost of their software, (necessary to print checks) your time to set it up, more time to run a print job of checks, and the excessive cost of their paper, you could purchase pre-printed checks from any of hundreds of companies that sell them for less. And all without the hassle of setting up and using the least user friendly and unnecessarily complex software I have used in many years. This paper ought to cost about 1/2 of the price it is being sold for. If I had not already invested in their dreadful software, I would not be using this. I regret having bought into this check printing system, and would not recommend it to others. Save your time and save your money. Find yourself a check printing company on the web, and avoid the aggravation of dealing with poorly designed software and overpriced supplies.

Just a note on size - I usually order a 30 waist; some companies size their products smaller than one might expect from sizing guidance (probably due to the trend toward tighter fitting clothing). I ordered size small hoping they weren't too small - even after a wash they fit just fine. The cut of these shorts is almost perfect - roomy enough but not so much fabric that they bunch.

The construction and material are both pretty good in quality. Decent value. I'll likely order more.

I just purchased this Kavu bag a couple of weeks ago. I've used it pretty much nonstop since it arrived. It is so user friendly! A few of its highlights are: the cell phone holder, good sized pockets, cute fabric (I ordered the aqua floral), and the cross-body adjustable strap.

The only negatives I can say about this bag is that I wish it was just slightly bigger. I'm a mom, and just a bit more space for diapers, wipes, and such would be helpful. Also, I wish some of the other prints were available for the various styles. I would definitely order another Kavu bag.
I love this Seattle Sling purse by Kavu. I got the purple and it just perks my spirits UP to use it everyday. It is the right size and fits against my body nicely, with a strap that is long enough and wide enough to be comfortable.

HOWEVER, a serious design flaw: the main zipper compartment is hard to zip back up. There's something about the angle of the construction in that area. This purse should be a "one hand" affair. That's the beauty of "cross bags". You should be able to unzip and zip back up without struggling to bring the side of the zipper together to get the right angle for closure. But that is the only thing that I don't love.

I've had a number of cloth Fossil bags, before they stopped making them and the same problem exists here. When this bag gets dirty, how does it hold up to a gentle hand wash? That will be the test. I only got 6 - 9 months use out of my Fossil bags for this reason (but they were light colored, so I bought the dark purple this time from Kavu) and if I had another request, it would be for cloth bags to be truly washable, with high quality fabrics and dyes. I don't like leather (too clunky and not right for climate in Hawaii) and I hate unnatural fibers, so I am constantly seeking cool, convenient, natural fiber and washable bags that work with my life.

This one gets close. Heads up, Kavu. Work on design and washability and you will have a BEST SELLER bag in this little darling of a cross-body bag!! Aloha !!

I bought this to be able to print my checks. I had quicken on my old computer and did not want to put it on my new machine. I thought this product would do the job. But getting it to find the printer has already taken three days of my time and it just isn't worth it. I'll go back to hand written..My printer works fine on everything but this. Over 30 years ago I got two Little Huggums dolls. Now my daughter, and sometimes my son, play with them A LOT. They are extremely durable dolls that last, literally, a lifetime or maybe two lifetimes.

What works about this doll? I love their smallish size. They are 12 inches tall which is a more manageable size than the 18 inch American Doll baby dolls. Little Huggums have soft bodies, so they really are huggable. They are easy to dress and undress because they have soft bodies. I bought extra clothes for my/my daughter's two Huggums from the Magic Cabin catalog. Sometimes I find 12 inch doll clothes at Target. The extra clothes enhance the fun of playing with these dolls. Huggums are soft but they can sit up on their own and participate in tea parties. Finally, these are really cute looking dolls.

They are an indoor toy because I would not recommend washing them in the washing machine. The squeeker in their bottoms will not work as well after washing. I spot clean them.

I highly recommend Little Huggums over any other doll, and I've played with many!!!
I had first bought this for my daughter 34 years ago for her first Christmas. It immediately became a much loved doll and continued over the years; was very appropriate for a one year old as she was that first Christmas. I was delighted two years ago to buy another for her daughter's first Christmas and her "Huggums" has been equally loved as much and continues to be so. I highly recommend this doll for a young child until they can handle a bigger baby doll.
I got this doll for my granddaughter's second birthday and it was the perfect gift! My granddaughter loved it the instant she opened the box. She enjoys feeding it with one of those "magic" bottles and she cuddles with it while watching TV. She also loves to push it around in her doll stroller. I think the soft body is very inviting to a small child and the face on this doll is so precious you can't help but love it. I just wish Madame Alexander made doll clothes for this doll, but we found some 12" doll dresses from the Corolle doll company that work just fine, so I can't complain. Bottom line: if you're looking for a great first doll for your toddler, this is it!
I bought this doll for my girlfriend's daughter who was about 1 1/2 at the time. I love that this doll is still available since I've received three of these same dolls while growing up, and still have all of them. By all accounts from my girlfriend, her daughter still plays with her doll and loves to sleep with it. I've only been over to their house a couple of times since then, and the last time I saw the doll, she was stark naked and wanted to urge someone to please put some clothes on her, but I was happy to see the doll being put to use! :)
I purchased this doll for the first time 38 years ago for my first daughter, then two years later for my second daughter. Eight years ago I purchased it for my first granddaughter and this year for my second granddaughter. It is light and huggable. Simply just an old-fashioned bsby doll that a little one can carry around. My daughters still have theirs and they keep them in their girls' rooms to have when company comes over to play with them.

At 11 inches in height, she's the perfect size for a young child's first doll, and the Velcro closure on the front of her pajamas won't cause problems for little fingers just learning the finer points of clothing mechanics. Although she's a lightweight stuffed doll, her soft body is sculptured in such a way that she can easily pose in a sitting-up position. Like the real deal. what a neat concept. Wish it was available when I was a kid (am I showing my age). It is a must have
My daughter who is almost 5 yrs old was so excited to receive her own checkbook! She watches me when I pay bills and asks for checks so she can "pay bills" too. I used to give her deposit slips to use as her checks but she was much more excited to receive her own check book with cover and register. She enjoys playing make-believe and it helps when the toys are more realistic. I only wish that it included more checks because these won't last too long.
My girls love these check books. They were always asking me if they could have some of mine. So, when I saw these, I was very excited. They carry them in their purse, and even record the checks they have written in the register. I recommend these to parents. Only one caution - the checkbook cover can peel.
It was my daughter's favorite gift. It was probably the least expensive
of all her gifts. She loves to pretend play...
The checkbook package was opened. No pieces were missing. But It was hard to glue the plastic to the cardboard to give it as a Christmas gift.

From the reviews that I read, this was a wonderful toy. There is a plastic cast that an adult has trouble putting on it's foot when it wimpers. My 3 year old granddaughter could not get it on. When it is on it is supposed to quit whimpering, which is not the case. You have to poke around inside the cast to hit the right place to make it stop, which is not easy to find. It also comes with a stethoscope that is too large to even fit in an adult's ears. She likes the dog when everything is turned off!
I would not reccomend this.

I suffered from adult acne/breakouts for over a decade. I tried it all, but my skin is normal to dry and most acne products only dried and irritated it more. I also came to feel that unless there was some sort of scrub in the mix, the product wouldn't clean. One day at an Origins store the saleslady recommended this product. I was skeptical, but figured for the price I it was worth a shot. That was about 18 months ago. I have not had a breakout worth mentioning since!! Now I go without makeup, and one of my hubby's co-workers asked if his wife was the one with the nice complexion!! I recommended this to a cousin who also suffered from acne and she loves it! I cannot rave about this enough and definitely would say to anyone that is at least worth a try!

This is a VERY economical wash -- a little goes a loooooong way. I use it daily for my face and every few days on my back and I just recently had to buy my second tube! I love the foamy feel of this cleanser.

Other than eye products and the occasional facial, I only use this and Philosophy Hope in a Jar moisturizer on my face. I think the moisturizer is responsible for former scars fading and evening out my skintone. That is a bit pricier, but lasts a long time too, so the combo is well worth every penny.
I have combination skin that can get very oily but also very dry. This facewash feels nice, smells fresh, and really cleanses my skin. It definitely takes care of the oil. In winter my skin tends to dry out a bit more and if I did not use moisturiser afterwards, this facewash would leave me a little dry and flaky, but I find that with all products I have tried.
Origin's Checks and Balances Face wash has done wonders for my face. I used to have frequent breakouts. But since I switched to this face wash, my face is almost completely blemish free. It gently cleans your skin and has a wonderful smell. When you get done your face is very soft and has a beautiful glow to it. My husband even uses it now. He loves it just as much as I do.
It is a little drying, but I love it. Cleans up the makeup and the dirt without scrubbing.

The plastics used are cheap and weak compared to other plastics.
The batter lid broke within a month, and then broke to the point of in-operation in less than a year - of cautious use, it wasn't played with by kids, it never fell when out of the case. In other words the only time it fell was when it *inside* its 'protective' case.

This unit depends on perfect motor control by the user, cautious use is NOT enough for this cheap piece of crap.

Very dissappointed with this product.
These are all worthless zero-accuracy pieces of junk. The heart rate is essentially correct; but if one needs to know the SpO2 value, this instrument is so inaccurate as to be utterly useless. I think some of the good reviews are from people who made no attempt to verify the accuracy of this meter. The display looks nice and there is always a number for SpO2 but that number is meaningless, bearing no relationship to the real SpO2 value. Someone could literally be dying of hypoxia and this device might easily be indicating that all was fine.

I recently purchased this oximeter from an eBay store. After receiving the oximeter I checked it out with simultaneous readings on 2 different fingers from it and a large hand-held BCI oximeter with probe known to be accurate. At various true saturation values the Check Mate was always from 4% to 10% high (meaning it often read 99% when the real value was much lower) and there was no relationship between the true value and how far off the Check Mate would read; therefore it was not even possible to get even close to the true value by subtracting a fudge factor. In fact the SPO instrument never fell below 92 or 93% even when the other instrument showed the true level in the low 80's. (I have a Devon fingertip unit that simply consistently reads 1 or 2 points high; but the relatively dim LED display washes out in sunlight and inserting the finger far enough forward to avoid auto shutoff has become a problem.) This is far from the + or -2% accuracy listed in the spec's from SPO.

Since the oximeter's performance didn't meet my needs or its own stated specifications, I called SPO and they at first said that I may be inserting my finger too far, but agreed that the unit was no good when nothing I did caused any improvement. I then agreed to let them ship me a new unit and a prepaid UPS label for sending them back the old one.

The new unit was little better that the first one, reading from 0 to 7% high with no relationship as to how far off the SPO unit would be and with no reading below 89. The kicker was when both instruments (the Checkmate and the hand-held BCI unit known to be totally accurate) began at a reading of 96. I let the sat's go down and as the BCI fell to 89 the SPO simultaneously rose to 98! Another SPO exchange would be useless.

Do not buy this expensive paperweight!

This unit simply does not work for the sports or active market it claims to address. My experience is there is simply no possible way to use this unit while physically active. It will not obtain readings while in motion. This temperamental unit makes it difficult to simply get any reading ... even while perfectly still and carefully aligning your fingertip inside the unit. The unit is not junk, but the claims to work while doing almost anything short of jumping-jacks are not based on reality. Finger alignment takes time, since the unit takes 10+ seconds to respond to each new position you try.

The very frustrating minuses:
- Forget about doing any movement while trying to get a reading. You will have to stop all activity.
- The unit is slow and unresponsive. The lag time between changing positions/fingers and perhaps getting a reading is at least 10 seconds and oftentimes more.
- The "Sensor Off" indicator frequently displays for no apparent reason, and readings are lost. This is consistently true, even on different fingers of different sizes.
- The "Weak Signal" icon frequently appears and readings are lost, even when there is no detectable movement of the finger or the unit.
- "Model is not water resistant" and should not be used on wet fingers. Sports instruments need to work when the user is sweaty.

The pluses:
- The digital display is easy enough to read for people with normal reading vision.
- The battery life is impressive (although replacements are costly).
- The readings correspond well to other medical units.

Oximeter tips:
- Warm your hands. This and other oximeters have a hard time obtaining readings from cold fingers.
- Persons with CHF, COPD or other medical conditions may need a device that will take readings from the ear. Find out from your care provider what type of device you need.

Bottom line: Temperamental. Anyone wanting to use this as a heart rate and O2 saturation monitor during exercise should avoid the unit. The Check Mate works about as well and perhaps as accurately as most medical oximeters - but you do not have the assurance of buying an FDA approved unit. Importantly, this is NOT a sports instrument for use during activity.

If you want an OK oximeter, this is not a bad choice. If you want a sports instrument, save your money and avoid the buyer's remorse I experienced.
I tried out one of these units at REI and liked it, so I ordered one for my girlfriend last week. It was suppose to arrive today... instead, I received an email that the order was canceled. When I finally reached a live person at Amazon.com, she said DHMedical had canceled. I think its because they raised the price by $2.50. The Amazon service was nice and gave me a $3.00 off coupon, but I can't wait another 5-7 days, there is no next day shipment, so I will pay the $160.00 at REI. I don't blame Amazon... but I do blame DHMedical for bad business practices.
The SFO Medical Pulse Oximeter works just fine. I need to keep check on my O2 levels at home and this device is very reasonably priced and allows me to do that. Great for home use. Simple and easy to use also.

I've used this test several times over the past year and have found it to be accurate. On a couple of occasions my son denied using the drug that showed positive. However, in every case, he eventually voluntarily confessed. If he hadn't, I might have thought the test was faulty.

This is really well made. The information is great and extensive, the pacing is excellent, and the production quality is much higher than you're probably expecting. This is an excellent product.
You will not be disappointed with these training DVDs. I have seen several training DVDs of this type, but none are nearly as well put together. Multiple camera angles on the students, firing line, instructors, targets, etc are all seamlessly edited into an informative DVD that easily gets the point across. You might think that all this work is to cover for droning instructors, but that is not the case. There is change of pace as instructors trade off for different sections. The instructors are intelligent and confident of their ideas and opinions. This is definitely something you will want to hang onto for reference.
I was skeptical at first, half expecting a teaser video aimed at increasing Magpul course registration. This is anything but. There is so much information contained here you'll watch these DVDs again and again.

I never write reviews, but for this I felt I had to -- it's that good. If you own an EBR you need to own this 3-disc set.
How many of you have ever purchased a training video of some sort only to watch it and think that the guy on screen must have hired his eight year-old to film it with his old super 8mm camera. Video is terrible, sound is terrible and any information you might have picked up from it is obscured by the terrible production value.

This is not that video. Not by a long shot.

The production value and editing of these DVDs make them watch more like a movie than an instructional video. This level of production makes the incredibly useful and well-demonstrated information on the DVDs very accessible and easy to pick up quickly. Add to that the very dynamic personalities of the instructors and you have a set of DVDs that can be watched over and over without the material becoming old.

If you are looking for a fantastic presentation of essential carbine skills and drills in a format that's just as enjoyable to watch as it is instructional, then this is the one for you! Every carbine owner should own this set.

This was surprisingly entertaining and with a few minor exceptions, very inoffensive family fare. It's another one of those adults-and-kids-can-both-enjoy flicks with a number of lines that border on being too much for kids but are still tame for adults - close, but safe. There are also some funny special effects and some good slapstick humor.

Being basically a kids' film, the main child, played by Eric Lloyd is cute but a little too spoiled for me but he's tolerable, as is his brother. Jason Alexander is the father, a very likable subdued guy but a little too lenient.

The real surprise in this cast is Faye Dunaway. Usually playing hard-edged types, she is the opposite in here which is kind of refreshing to see. She shows a nice comedic touch. The chimpanzee is probably the most entertaining, which is the idea, but so is the villain played by Rupert Evert. In other words, there are a lot of likable characters in this movie.

This a "sleeper:" an underrated film that a lot of people would enjoy. I'm sorry it never got much "press."

Very Fun Movie, Cute boys and an orangutan have a special bond.
Full of laughs and a sweet bond with their father.
My 10 yr old son has this movie&absolutely loved it, so I purchased it for my friend's children for Christmas. They loved it too! My friend was glad to get a movie the whole family could enjoy.
I was suprised that I actually liked this. Ape Dunston! It is warm, fun, and slightly zany, and seems not to take itself too seriously which is a good thing to me.

Oh, and "Lord Rutledge" that is a great freakin' name!

This disc contains two of Jeff Foxworthy's performances, each about 30 minutes long. Thirty minutes is a bit short for a standup routine, but including a pair of them does make the DVD worthwhile, even if it feels like slightly less than a full show. Foxworthy jokes about single life, married life, his firstborn, and of course, includes some 'you might be a redneck' jokes. His recollections of being single and broke are particularly amusing. All of the material is solid, and there are no slow spots to speak of. The subject matter of the two shows overlap a bit, which makes them feel a tiny bit redundant when watched back-to-back, but the jokes are unique. This DVD doesn't represent the best that Foxworthy has to offer, but he has an excellent rapport with his audience and delivers smoothly and with superb timing. This should be considered good viewing for most comedy fans.
My college aged teenagers and my husband and I really enjoyed this video! For once, we all sat together and watched a video. Jeff is really funny and takes a some real life situations and shows the comedy in them!
This DVD contains two 30 minute monologues from Jeff Foxworthy. They are a bit dated as he looks very young here. These monologues are filled with his southern goofball shtick - lots of good jokes about married life, crazy family members, goofball things people do, and of course his infamous You Might Be a Redneck If ... jokes.

The one thing I am surprised about is how much of the material he used back then is still in his routines now. And it's all so funny you just never get tired of hearing them. Even though it's short and sweet, it's quite funny and worth plopping down a few bucks for.
Jeff Foxworthy is an extraordinarily talented comedian, as his recent popularity has shown.

I saw this DVD after watching the Blue Collar Comedy Tour this year. This DVD must have been produced more than ten years ago as his daughter had just been born. And he is a young pup!

Jeff delivers belly-laugh funny "You Might be a Redneck If...." which sends the crowd into hysterics. Me too. Most of his material about single life, relationships, and southern living are based on his own family experiences and really hit a cord.

As Jeff says, "Rednecks ain't just in the SOuth. They're everywhere!" And so they are!

Great DVD - only 60 minute's worth of material but it's all good.
I owned the VHS version before this came out. I couldn't stop laughing! I recently replaced my VHS tapes with DVDs and this one was at the top of my list. If you like blue collar southern humor. BUY THIS DVD!

You all know that I think that Guy Kawasaki is awesome and in this book, he gives practical business advice no matter where you work and what your role is. The content is varied and covers many business topics and lessons from many individuals and businesses. I got a ton of inspirational quotes from this book.
This book serves as a field guide for the entrepreneur in the trenches, as well as a strategy manual if you can piece together Kawasaki's writings into your own framework. Witty, funny and a joy to read, I breezed through various sections and skipped around. It's one of those books that you can read for a bit, put down and pick up quickly again when you want to resume. Of course, it's hard to put down, because it spawns new ideas. In fact, I end up picking up a pen to jot down ideas as I read it. It's like an addiction that makes you work harder and laugh a little more at the same time. I read this for my Work-cation as one friend calls it.
Reality Check: The Irreverent Guide to Outsmarting, Outmanaging, and Outmarketing Your Competition Good, logical advice for clear business thinking in tough times. The operative word is "good." Guy's advice is create products that matter and operate with integrity. He tells you how to do it --simple, straightforward advice. Want more Guy advice, check out his blog as well.

I enjoyed the author's insight into time management and how to make it all work. Was very helpful in getting me back on track.
Ironically a book on time management and organization takes 72 pages to get to the first time management tip, "focus on tasks that are closest to the revenue line". The first chapters are wordy cliché discussions such as work life balance, develop an entrepreneur mindset...blah blah blah. I found myself skimming the paragraphs looking for any specific original material. She has endless bullet points and numbered lists that are shallow random thoughts that read like a collection of Oprah magazine articles. Even worse are the self indulgent verbose romance novel examples, including this gem from page 165 "A news writer for a national trade magazine, Claire was a five-foot-one dynamo transforming her industry. Working alone, she was a one-women wonder, churning out cutting edge storiesfrom an office as wild as her mane of curly black hair. Claire's eyes sparkled with a sense of adventure, and her face was always on the verge of a huge, warm smile....." This dribble goes on for 3 more long paragraphs. Morgenstern undermines her credibility with these exaggerated fairy tale descriptions. She should purchase a copy of Strunk and White Elements of Style, save us the sophomoric prose and write a 50 page concise, focused time management and office organization book. A terrific alternative is 4 hour workweek by Timothy Ferris which covers many of the same points in a morecompelling, concise and convincing manner.
Small or large, the tasks and responsibilities every organization must complete to be successful are pretty much the same. But employees of smaller businesses have a wider range of responsibilities than the more specialized staff of larger firms. Small business employees--and their owners--continually are confronted by many more types of tasks requiring attention. Additionally, smaller businesses tend to "run lean" with limited back up if someone is absent. These factors tend to foster an unfocused and inefficient workplace.

This book offers employees in such situations with insights and strategies that show them how to be more productive and efficient. If done well, it will also result in better work life balance and a less stressful workplace.

Two caveats, particularly for management and business owners:
1. Woefully inadequate attention (in this book) to the value of planning as the most effective way to minimize "fires" and "the tyranny of the urgent";
2. No apparent consideration for time and attention necessary for maintaining the culture and values of the company (e.g., customers always come first, or great performance every time or measure twice, cut once, etc.)

"Never Check E-Mail In the Morning" is not about e-mail, it is about time management, self-discipline and productivity in general. The book helps you in self-assessment, helps to embrace your work/life balance, to develop entrepreneurial mindset, to choose the most important tasks, to create the time to get things done, to control the nibblers, to organize at the speed of change, to master delegation, to work well with others and to leverage your value.

Like other popular self-help books, "Never Check E-Mail In the Morning" has no "references" section, which I don't like. Once you have completed this book, you have no direction what to read next. Julie Morgenstern, the author of many time management books and a monthly columnist for O, The Oprah Magazine, and a guest on television and radio programs, probably supposes that you will continue with her further publications.

When the author writes about e-mail and the productivity issues that relate to e-mail, I fully agree with the author. She offers to break counterproductive habits and stereotypes related to our way of emailing. She covers the problems related to e-mail much better that "Hamster Revolution" by Mike Song.

I highly recommend "Getting Things Done" by David Allen and "Time Drive" by Gleb Arkhangelsky in addition to this book.

Lets start with the bad. The book is mostly stuff you've already heard or is completely obvious to you. Morgenstern's advice for organizing information is to 'do what works best for you'. Gee, thanks for the hot tip.

The book starts with an address to those who work far too many hours. I work an average number of hours but if I can be more efficient I'd like to see if I can make that number smaller. So I read the first part and didn't really get anything from it. As the book progresses she gets into how time is wasted and how to avoid the things and people that waste your time. This is the heart of the book's message because time is our most precious commodity. That's why I found it counterintuitive that the author's language was... far from concise; I was surprised by the amount of text devoted to the biographies of her clients. When you say something like, "meetings can be a large waste of time," we understand what you mean. You don't need to illustrate that point by telling us about someone who worked a lot of hours and attended many pointless meetings. Remember, our time is precious and this isn't exactly Literature; you would think Morgenstern would be more conscious of how much of our time she's taking.

Toward the latter half of the book Morgenstern meanders into a topic that begins to contradict her earlier ideas. When she was describing situations that waste your time she hit on the idea of other employees wasting your time. But towards the end she gives us examples of people who don't make enough time for other employees and so one can only conclude that the unifying message is don't give too much time but also not too little. This is in all capacities the same advice for how to organize your data: 'do what works best'. So in the end Morgenstern hasn't really come up with solutions. She addresses a variety of different problems people have but her advice in the end is always the same: pick your head up, figure out what's important and do it without wasting your time. Again, not a very profound message and not one that should take 272 pages to explain.

Now on to the slightly more positive. The title of the book is quite provocative and an excellent advertising scheme. Sorry to those of you who didn't realize it's the same book and now own two. The title can be explained as follows: If the first thing you do in the morning is check your email then there are any number of ways that you'll be diverted from your critical tasks to deal with all the little things your inbox has for you. Email creates a false sense of accomplishment for people because in the span of an hour or so you're likely to deal with a large number of different issues (likely half of them are personal) and so you feel like you've accomplished quite a bit but now that it's almost time for lunch you really haven't done much at all (including writing a review for this book on amazon). You've been in the office but you probably haven't done anything that makes money for your company - anything worth telling your boss about.

Lets face it. For a number of jobs not checking your email in the morning is absurd. The underlying idea, however, is that at work you spend too much time multitasking and not enough time getting that really important job done. Multitasking slows total productivity and it hurts the quality of each individual piece of work. The real skill to learn is to avoid clicking that forwarded link for a youtube video.

So Morgenstern recommends that you do one thing at a time and that you plan when to do these things based on when you have energy during the day. She also tells you to let others know your schedule so they'll be more accommodating. This again, depending on the job may be totally unrealistic but I guess if you're in charge you can set whatever rules you like.

If anything in this review is unclear to you then perhaps you should buy the book but if it all makes sense to you then you're better off looking elsewhere. You're welcome.

The Code Check complete was a great document. I will use it when building my new home.
Very good and helpful especially as non contractor a owner/builder. I can be sure I'm doing things right. With this book I have a good chance of passing my building inspections!!
My 2007 edition of Code Check Complete is an incredible resource. I should like to recommend it to all homeowners as well as the contractors they hire. Learn how a house should be constructed and repaired safely, legally and properly. However, there are a number of entries that are incredible in a bad way.

I was suprised how complete the codcheck series is. If you live/work in California you will need the special California edition
This is a handy composite easy-to-use reference book of the four major building codes covering building, electrical, plumbing and HVAC. It is for residential buildings.

Previously, the Code Check series was (and still is) issued for each of the individual codes noted above. This guide combines all four into a condensed and smaller spiral bound hard cover book. It is easier to carry and use if you need to take a quick peek at more than one of the various building code references.

It is an easy guide for contractors, home inspectors, and others interested in the current rules and regulations as they pertain on a national basis. It is not meant as a substitute for your local code regs however.

I believe both formats have a use and am glad they came out with this newer composite or complete version of all residential codes into one small book.

An individual contractor or tradesperson might appreciate the individual CODE CHECK flip chart style guide better. As they cover one of the 4 various building codes, they are slightly larger and much more durable than the composite book. They are published on damage-resistant plastic coated card stock and impervious to moisture damage. They are also larger, yet thinner and are quicker to use as they flip open with their sections all summarized on the cover.

The composite book is smaller, yet thicker. While it is also spiral bound, the paper it is printed on is not tear or moisture-resistant. The value for the composite is superior in that it provides most, if not all of the same information as the individual Code Checks. It is also much less expensive buying the composite compared to buying the four code checks separately. The pages are smaller and more difficult to read if one relies upon glasses in order to read.

The other glaring detraction is the information for the Electrical section. Perhaps the book came out a few months too early. Everything in the Building, HVAC, and Plumbing sections is up-to-date. The Electrical section still contains the information from the 2002/2005 National Electrical Code. Not the newest 2008 version. I would imagine however, that the next edition of the composite "Complete" Code Check book would contain the latest info. Many, if not most local jurisdictions tend to operate off the older NEC, so it may be of little consequence at this point anyway.

One other small observation, is that if you lend out your code check "complete", then you lend all of it out together. Unlike the individual publications. Also, it is not as durable, so if one does lend it out, it may not hold up in the long run, unlike the other larger plastic-coated booklets.

It is still a wise investment for the money. And a great way to have all the major code R&Rs in your hand for a quick and easy reference.

One other note, the publisher on their website also offers several downloads free of charge. One is the "California" Building Code. Another is changes or errors and ommissions in the Code Check Complete. It is after all in its first edition. However the mistakes are kept to a minimum.
Taunton's Code Check series is widely recognized as the most reliable and up-to-date code reference available. Now, the thousands of builders, remodelers, and inspectors who have relied on their Code Checks for accuracy and thoroughness will delight in this handsome new edition that combines all the codes into a single, lay-flat volume. I love this wallet. I use it every day. looks great and has plenty of room inside for all the essential. definately recommend it to anyone.
This outstanding check book cover is made of ultra soft oil-treated genuine leather. The leather will burnish with time to develop a one-of-a-kind finish. Besides holding a checkbook, this cover also doubles as a wallet with 10 card slots, an ID window, a zippered compartment for receipts, coins, and keys, and a deep pocket for holding folded currency. It also features a removable plastic insert that holds 12 additional cards. Dimensions: 6 5/8 x 3 5/8 inches (closed); 6 5/8 x 7 3/8 inches (open). Available in Black, Brown and Tan.
