『We love our warmer - the pads last about a month or two, depending on if we remember to re-wet them each week! If you forget to wet them down each week, they will start to brown, but as soon as you rinse it out it's good as new. The wipes have never dried out in this warmer.』

『This cot is no good!!!! My poor child, said that she hated it. The cot has a bar in the middle and that is all she can feel. I even put extra padding in that area and it did nothing for it. 『We have been listening to this CD in the car for the last couple of weeks and I am still enjoying it (some kids' music can make you a bit crazy after a day or two...). We already loved their "No!" CD too - hilarious. The boys (2 and 4 years) have learned so much from "Here Comes Science" that I just ordered the ABCs and 123s. Maybe they will learn from that too! 『Yes, I love Sesame Street, but included in this video is the episode where Mr. Hooper is no longer alive. They were remiss to include the episode, because it is very suddenly sad. Your child may not have any experience with death/ loss of a loved one, so it could be quite confusing, especially when taken out of context! Or, if you have had a recent loss, you may not want this video around in your collection.』

『I was a Sesame Street fanatic as a small child, and some of my happiest memories are of curling up with my sister to watch Bert, Ernie, and the rest of the gang. Now that I have a daughter of my own, I wanted to share these memories with her. I was disappointed. Although each of the forty seasons of Sesame Street is represented, the later seasons include more celebrity performances than actual bits by the characters themselves, and it's HEAVILY based around Elmo, Zoe, and Abby instead of including more of the traditional characters. It broke my heart to see Cookie Monster lectured about eating cookies; they have revamped the older songs to be more "hip," and they've included musical performances by bands/performers I would never choose for my toddler/preschooler to listen to (Destiny's Child, the Goo Goo Dolls, Feist, etc.). Let kids be kids and enjoy musicians and performers geared at younger children.

Don't get me wrong: the first DVD is a great walk down memory lane, and there were some fantastic clips not included on the Sesame Street Old School Vols. I-II. I'm not sorry I purchased this set, but we will be watching the first disk and skipping the second.

If you are a parent who's looking to relive your Sesame Street memories, spend your money on the Old School dvd's instead - this will be a disappointment to you.』

『This is the first in the "Toy Story" franchise (1995) and the first film animated solely by computer. It establishes a family of toys owned by a boy named Andy who plays rough with his toys and writes his name on his favorites. This is really an action flick with toys rather than people being the superheroes engaged in intrepid rescues.
The toys fear birthdays and Christmases because Andy may get a new toy as a present; this new one may win him over, and some of his older ones may end up in a dumpster or out at a yard sale.
The leader of the toy family is Woody (Tom Hanks), a cowboy puppet who plays some electric sounds if a wire in his back is pulled. Of course these toys can talk. The sequel to this movie was very good in filling in the back stories of the toys (Woody was a spin-off toy from a popular old TV series), and it individualized them. Bo Beep with her little crook in this one seems to have a crush on Woody.
On his birthday Andy gets a new toy, Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), whom he prefers to Woody at first. Buzz thinks he's a real spaceman which makes him take crazy risks. Buzz and Woody have to save toys from the nasty, sadistic next-door kid named Sid and his vicious dog. Sid turns toys into mindless mutants. Sid really is an evil piece of work.
People are the bad guys. Andy, a typical kid, is fickle about his toys. People are also dangerous for the toys because they are unpredictable.
This is a real kid's movie without any adult-aimed gags. When viewed with the second in the series, it provides some fun viewing because there's so much growth in "Toy Story 2."

Woody does not realize that Andy's mother gave him an action figure known as Buzz Lightyear, who does not believe that he is a toy, and quickly becomes Andy's new favorite toy. Woody, who is now consumed with jealousy, tries to get rid of Buzz. Then, both Woody and Buzz are now lost. They must find a way to get back to Andy before he moves without them, but they will have to pass through a ruthless toy killer, Sid Phillips. I loved the story and liked the animations a lot. This movie is pretty much perfect. It's adventurous, exciting, entertaining, and good for the whole family.』

『I ordered this movie, Toy Story, for a Christmas present on December 3, 2009 and supposedly it was shipped on December 6, 2009 and was to arrive to my house no later than December 28, 2009. Unfortunately, it never arrived and I contacted the seller to get a tracking number so that it can be tracked through the postal service&I never received that number either. The seller offered to refund me my money or send a replacement on December 31, 2009 and I chose the refund due to it being well passed Christmas. It is now January 26, 2010 and still no refund or movie. I am very disappointed in this purchase because there was no hesitation to take my money; however, it seems that my order has been forgotten.』

The 10th anniversary edition of the landmark film repackages most of the extras found in the originalUltimate Toy Boxset plus a few more. Two keen retrospectives are new, one with an assortment of talents including Roy Disney and Peter Jackson chiming in on the film's impact. The other is a roundtable with Lasseter and three of the creators simply talking about the experiences without--thankfully--any cutaways to noisy film clips. There's a load of other extras since theUltimate Toy Boxwas one of the first and best DVD sets. Missing (besides the second film, which will be released separately) is the effects- and music-only tracks. Added is a whopping DTS soundtrack along with a remixed Dolby 5.1 track. The DVD has a higher transfer bit rate for a better picture, but only high-end enthusiasts will notice it. Since the film is a digital-to-digital transfer, both versions are eye-popping. A must-have set unless you have theUltimate Toy Box.

Lasseter's story is universal and magical: what do toys do when they're not played with? Cowboy Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), Andy's favorite bedroom toy, tries to calm the other toys (some original, some classic) during a wrenching time of year--the birthday party, when newer toys may replace them. Sure enough, Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) is the new toy that takes over the throne. Buzz has a crucial flaw, though--he believes he's the real Buzz Lightyear, not a toy. Lasseter further scores with perfect voice casting, including Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head and Wallace Shawn as a meek dinosaur. The director-animator won a special Oscar for "the development and inspired application of techniques that have made possible the first feature-length computer-animated film." 『Neat clock with great features to teach analog time in this digital age. A little tricky to set but works if you read directions carefully. My 5 year old daughter got this from Santa and her favorite feature is that she can change the bezel color from blue to yellow to pink. My favorite features are the "toe button" that speaks the time and the time-telling games that come with it - you can start with very basic games (eg. round numbers like 3 o'clock) and then gradually increase difficulty (eg. 3:30, then 3:15, then 3:20, then 3:23). A little pricey but you get a lot of features. Kind of funky and modern-looking. Doesn't take up too much space on the dresser top. Overall a decent value.』

『This clock is great for toddlers that can't tell time yet. This clock has really been great for getting out two year old to stay in bed in the morning. We've had some problems with the plug for this clock not always working, which has been a bit annoying, but overall we're very happy. I wish you could program the clock to turn green at two different times. Sometimes trying to explain to a 2 year old that when it turns green in the morning they can get out of bed, but at nap time it doesn't can be a little difficult.』

『I got each of kids one of these clocks and purposely put an alarm on the older child (4) and DID not put one on the younger child (almost 3). For my oldest the alarm is working beautifully! He looks forward to getting up, comes in our room and says the clock is green, it's wake up time. And he love touching the feet to hear what time it is and matching it up with the way the minute hand moves around and around. I think he figured out how to turn off the alarm but thankfully he isn't jumping back in bed. The only problem is that his next move is to wake up his sister (who we don't want to wake up that early) and then come jump in our bed instead of starting with his routine. I rated this product a 5 star because it accomplishes exactly what it told you it would. If they could figure out a way to allow you to record a personal message like "Good Morning, Don't wake your sister up and got immediately to the potty" this would be the best clock ever made. But I guess those last two requests are just my issues...(smile) Definitely get this clock, you'll love it.』

(Brilliant concept, defective product)

『This clock's concept is excellent. We set it so that the light turns green at 7am, so our child has a visual cue to know when it's okay to get out of bed in the morning (instead of the middle of the night). It worked beautifully for about 60 days. Now it is defective. In the middle of the night it will start saying "the alarm is on! the alarm is off!" or the alarm bell will start ringing randomly. We tried replacing the batteries, plugging and unplugging it, etc. Nothing helped. Unfortunately we bought it elsewhere and could only return it for store credit since it was 60+ days past purchase. This was very frustrating. I might buy another one from Amazon and hope that the first one was defective, because the concept it so good.』

『There is greatness in film that can be discussed, dissected, and talked about late into the night. Then there is genius that is right in front of our faces--we smile at the spell it puts us into and are refreshed, and nary a word needs to be spoken. This kind of entertainment is what they used to call "movie magic," and there is loads of it in this irresistible computer animation feature. Just a picture of these bright toys reawaken the kid in us. Filmmaker John Lasseter thinks of himself as a storyteller first and an animator second, much like another film innovator, Walt Disney.

Lasseter's story is universal and magical: what do toys do when they're not played with? Cowboy Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), Andy's favorite bedroom toy, tries to calm the other toys (some original, some classic) during a wrenching time of year--the birthday party, when newer toys may replace them. Sure enough, Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) is the new toy that takes over the throne. Buzz has a crucial flaw, though--he believes he's the real Buzz Lightyear, not a toy. Lasseter further scores with perfect voice casting, including Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head and Wallace Shawn as a meek dinosaur. The director-animator won a special Oscar for "the development and inspired application of techniques that have made possible the first feature-length computer-animated film."
