I read this story often to my two children when they were young. I love the holidays for many reasons, but decorating and looking at the ornaments that hang on my tree each year bring me back to the Christmas' gone by, since many of the ornaments were purchased as a marker, to either that year or that character that was important or reflective of something important or valued to us as a family or me as an individual. I have a spot all picked out in my head where this ornament shall be hung. (Why is Amazon still out of stock? This is a great item?) 『I liked Ms Woods book on life drawing (which I bought through Amazon) so when I saw a DVD also listed, I was interested. Amazon listed it out of stock, but I managed to find a copy. I am amazed to see months later that you still show it out of stock. It is an excellent DVD. I particularly liked the way Ms Woods demonstrated each technique on paper rather than describing it, all the time showing the model, and at times even superimposing her drawing over the model to make a point. I found many of her 'lessons' helpful and would think many Amazon clients would agree. Incidentally, her book that piqued my interest was Life Drawing: A Journey to Self-Expression』

There is absolutely no fight in here that was a real good matchup. especially the main event. Royler just gets completely dismantled by Sakuraba. It is a really boring fight. Royler just sits on the grond and Sakuraba continuously kicks him in the leg. And don't think im giving this DVD such a bad review because im not a true MMA fan. I practice judo and ju jitsu three times a week so i have great appreciation for the ground game, but this DVD is horrible. Please do youselves a favour and save your money, don't by PRIDE 8.』
(Great card, plenty of action) 『Pride 8 is the first time that Sakuraba faces a Gracie. The Gracie legacy is on the line. Royler is faced with the burden of defending the undefeated Gracie legacy. Sakuraba is burdened with avenging the loss of his mentor to Rickson Gracie.
Sakuraba always puts on an entertaining fight and this time is no exception. Plenty of standup and ground action, topped off with a controversial ending.
Another excellent fight worthy of mention is Silva vs Matsui, plenty of action. You'll see why he deserves his moniker of"The Axe Murderer". Vovchanchyn versus Bueno and Trigg vs Iha are also great fights. There are two boring fights Coleman vs Morais and Erikson vs Goodridge. It's a pity they don't have a"reset the fighters when there's no action rule".
However all in all a great night of action and well worth the purchase! It's got everything you'd want good standup action, grappling action, knockouts...the works!』
(Best of the best) 『Pride FC holds the best mixed martial arts tournaments in the world. I've seen almost all of them, and Pride 8 ranks near the top. The DVD is almost 3 hours long and 2 sided, so midway through, you have to flip the disc. You'll get to see Mark Coleman at 6' 1"take on 6' 8"Brazilian Ricardo Morais, and Daijiro Matsui's huge heart as he battles the Axe Murderer, Vanderlei Silva. Vovchanchyn vs. Bueno is a fight between 2 great strikers. This disc is packed with knockouts, great submission techniques, and climaxes with plenty of drama in the main event between Kazushi Sakuraba and Royler Gracie. Previous to this Pride, Sakuraba had fought the Brazilians who are experts in Ju Jitsu and sumbissions. He has been undefeated. Rickson Gracie had beaten Sakuraba's teacher, Takada twice, both times by submission. It's time to let it all hang out between Sak and the Gracie family.』

An Imaginext crossover character! The little Super Dog is the best - and he can wear the space helmet that comes with the set. I did think it was a bit pricey for one character with no vehicle, but it was well worth it. If your child loves his DC Super Friends Batcave, then you must have this.』

Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (A magnificent edition of a magnificent poem!) 『I have to begin with a confession: as a young English major, I hated Milton. At the time, I justified my distaste by assuring myself that none of the stuff in "Paradise Lost" was TRUE.
Time passed, as it does, and now I discover that in my golden years I have a whole treasure-house of unread poetry! I still think that "Paradise Lost" is fiction, but by now I am wise enough to treat the whole thing as world-historical myth, and superb writing to boot!
As everyone else has noticed, this particular edition from Oxford World's Classics is a triumph of the book-maker's art. The type is beautifully set, the illustrations are terrific, and the book is strongly bound.
I hear rumors (once again) that "books are going to become extinct." I'm not sure I believe them any more now than I did 30 years ago, but I'm pretty sure that books like this will NEVER become extinct -- any more than paintings were driven out by photography. I may be doing 70-80% of my reading on a Kindle in the future, and my "paper library" may become more select, but I don't think personal libraries are ever going to vanish. Let's wait&see!
In the meantime, buy this book. Period.』
(Great Edition of Milton's Epic Poem) 『Wow, what a great edition of Milton's epic poem "Paradise Lost". I won't say much about the poem itself since most people should know how great it is, and there is very little I could add to the plethora of commentary and reviews of this masterpiece. I am really rating the super high quality edition. Beautiful dust jacket hard cover book, with bold red inner cover page with red ribbon bookmark. The pages are high qualitiy, with classic font for each book. There is also the great classic art work. I highly recommend this edition.』
(Epic and daring, the God of Genesis is revealed) 『This magnificent book was recommended to me by a dear friend through another review here on Amazon.com. For that recommendation I am grateful due to the pleasure that I have received from it. I enjoyed the audio book rather than the printed version, and as one who listens to hundreds of audio books, I can say that this production through the talent of Anton Lesser, produces dramatic results.
The book, this epic poem, is so beautifully written that it would be a pleasure to read, or listen to, even if the actual content was in some way lacking. But, the content is anything but lacking. For me, Milton points out that God is vengeful, jealous, and ego-driven, almost as though he were human. What father would pronounce the death sentence on his child for eating fruit from a tree (albeit "forbidden fruit")? What father would banish their child from Eden for that same offense? None that I know. Milton shows the God of the Genesis to be harsh and cruel while staying true to scripture.
If you are looking for a book that is beautiful to read, and thought-provoking to ponder, then look no further.

This is the story of the Wright Brothers, from their early childhood through the time of their invention of the "flying machine." It does stress the influence their parents, particularly their mother, had upon them. It is simply written and very direct. The story is quite easy to follow and gives the young reader a very good insight to the minds and work ethic these brothers had. It is an excellent introduction to the subject of flight. Overall the book is quite inspirational. I can remember reading it as a child (mid-fifties) and am quite gratified to see my grandsons read it today. Recommend quite highly.』

I don't actually own it, but I was bored and at the library one day so I decided to go pick up some drawing books. I renewed this book as many times as I could. I actually couldn't get around to reading it all. I really only read a few pages while skimming through the other ones. Somehow even this vastly improved my drawing though. It's especially useful for beginners as the book can clearly define, yet leave room for creative imput on certain things like muscles and height (meaning it doesn't restrict you to the "8-head figure" rule, an annoyance I've enountered too many times in drawing books).
Also, although the book mostly consists of pictures of blue women and green men with impossible body features, the book clearly defines (and provides examples) between such characters as "average joe", "hero", "super hero", "super villan" etc. Mostly I think the book should mostly be used for comic/manga style anatomy, but for me it really improved my overall style and gave it an edge that makes my drawings look exceptionally better than they used to be. Overall, this is an amazing book and I would reccommend it to anyone with a desire to draw, especially those who are struggling with anatomy. Also, Amazon seems to be selling this at a much cheaper price than in stores, so DEFINITELY get this book! I swear, it's worth it!』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Beware the Legs of Benwolf..) 『They BREAK EASILY! Benwolf is easily one of the coolest aliens on Ben 10. He's Ben's Loboan form. Originally thought to be a werewolf, it turns out he's really an alien. Aliens and werewolves are always cool. Face it, it is true. Even when aliens and werewolves are at their lamest, they're still somehow cool. Benwolf is no exception. Except that he's always cool. Except when you have the figure and you drop it. Well, that's what happened to mine. He works great as long as you play with him on carpet. I took him outside and dropped him on the sidewalk and his instantly leg broke off. Please note that I said I dropped him and not "I threw him". He slipped, hit the ground, and his leg came off. After some scrounging around in the bushes, I found it. I managed to super glue him back together, but now his leg doesn' move. He can stand again, though. The bubbles, which I don't really understand, but have become a staple of the DNA Alien Heroes line, haven't leaked and continue to pump with the pressing of the button on his back. His mouth also opens into the four mandibles Benwolf has on the show. It translates well to toy form. It is a pretty good representation of Benwolf, just not a particularly durable one. A lot of the other DNA Alien Heroes are a lot more durable. Wildmutt, for example.
