『UNIVERSAL MOUNTING BRACKET
The bracket is designed to allow for many different mounting techniques. It can be bent or cut and mounted in several different orientations to facilitate the proper placement and orientation of the unit being installed. One common application is to pull a dash panel or console and secure the "fingers" of the bracket with self tapping screws behind the panel after bending or cutting it to place the unit in the chosen location and orientation. The elongated holes on the fingers can be used to shorten or lengthen the distance it protrudes from behind the panel. After securing the Universal Mounting Bracket replace the panel removed earlier and check that there is enough clearance for the bracket and that it does not interfere with the fit of the vehicles panel. Alternately, you can secure the smaller square portion beneath the swivel, and take advantage of the various slots to line up the mounting holes on the unit you are installing. Once the appropriate orientation of the Swivel Bracket has been determined, tighten the center screw to secure it from moving. While this book doesn't intend to cover the recently released iPhone SDK (it was published before the SDK's release), it does provide excellent coverage of web-based development for the iPhone (and iPod Touch). It leverages a free, open-source library to take much of the grunt work out of it, but also provides detailed code samples and examples and enough information so you could probably do it without the library should you desire. If you're interested in making your site look and feel like an iPhone app, this book will get you there. You should understand HTML, CSS and, preferably, a modicum of Javascript to get the most out of the book.』

It is not a book about UI (User Interface), but about User EXPERIENCE. If you want to see good and bad interface designs, there is no better place than the app store itself. Programming the iPhone User Experience is a very clever summary and extension to Apple's HIG. The code examples are the kind of examples I was expecting from an UX point of view: code that you should not forget to include into your app if you want it to be right. I would deeply recommend it.』
(a few nice gems buried in there) 『The book is short, and while it has quite a number of code samples buried within it, it has only a few real gems that I thought were worthwhile. If you're looking for code examples on how to do fancy UI things with the iPhone or iPod touch - don't go here. It's really more of a conceptual overview of what an iPhone user experience should be including categorizing some common elements and patterns in use.
In the code samples, I found a useful nugget: a tidbit on how to improve the app startup/loading experience, with code samples. Otherwise most of the code samples were almost more of a "hey look, I can do the same thing that Interface Builder does, except in code" and re-hashes of example code that you can find on the web or in Apple's sample code projects. I suppose it's a lot easier than screenshots illustrating how to replicate with Interface Builder. The fact that you could do many of these patterns with Interface Builder seemed to escape comment in the text.
In terms of something to think about for how you're going to set up a user experience, it gives some patterns and anti-patterns that complement Apple's iPhone HIG. I thought at a fairly high level, those were pretty good. I didn't agree with all of them, and some segments seemed to be so wishy washy as to be useless (like wether or not to use Core Data) - but some were good too.
I wouldn't run out to go get this book and read it, but if you're looking for a paper copy of another point of view on the UI patterns of designing iPhone applications, this book might be worthwhile for you.』
(Programming the iPhone UX starts @ Chapter 5) 『When I got this book, literally my jaw fell open and my first comment was "Why is it so small??" I struggled to even write this review, but I felt compelled to state specifics. Here is what I learned:
Chapter 1 - Very strongly emulates the Apple Cocoa Fundamentals Guide. No code samples present. Chapter 2 - Emulates iPhone Human Interface Guidelines (HIG). No code samples present. Chapter 3 - Emulates iPhone HIG. No code samples present Chapter 4 - Emulates Apple's Xcode Quick Tour for iPhone OS. No code samples present Chapter 5 - Code samples are FINALLY present, but I don't know if there is a place online to download the source. Where can I download the code, run it, customize, or save it? Chapter 6 - Code samples are present via 7-8 pages of straight code Chapter 9 (UX Anti-patterns) seemed interesting, but there were no code samples present.
I checked to make sure I didn't misunderstand the book when I bought it, but it still said PROGRAMMING the iPhone User Experience. I don't think programming UX is possible using this book from scratch or without additional literature. The UX explanations are not very specific as I hoped there was focus on topics like cognitive biases, user centered design, and interaction design on the iPhone and demonstrating some examples programmatically..』

I don't think it was worth the 23.09 it was billed as and it is super SHORT. The first half is just review material from the Apple Human Interface Guidelines. I have much better luck with this compared to the "clothespin" type, which come off of my waistband very easily. I had to remove the stuck-on one, which was easily and cleanly accomplished. Use a screwdriver to free up perimeter first, keep your fingers out of the line of the screwdriver.』
(Worried about durability but it's working so far.) 『I needed something like this for my son, because I was afraid he'd lose his cell phone.
When it arrived, I was a little surprised by the design. I had expected the loop to join and lock somehow but it is open on one end near the side that adheres to the phone. The two ends come close but do not lock in any way. I suppose this makes it easier to take it off with one hand when it rings, but I am afraid it may come off too easily, though it hasn't fallen off yet that I know of.
The plastic loop looks a bit flimsy. I'm not sure how long it will last. I think it will eventually break off, but it works for now. The instructions said to install the loop so that it is just high enough to put a finger through the loop, but my son's cell phone is small, so the loop comes a bit higher off the phone than that. It is good, if all I want to do is clip it to the belt loop, but if I decide I want to put it in my purse or pocket, the loop would make it awkward, and I'm afraid the loop would break.
The Cliphanger is mounted with adhesive, which seems to hold fine. It mounts to the back of the phone, so if the back is the cover to a battery and that cover comes off easily, this product is not for you.
So far so good. I am just worried about the durability of the product and the design which may cause the phone to fall off the belt loop. I guess as long as my son doesn't play rough and roll around in the dirt, this product might work. We haven't had problems yet, despite my concerns.』
(Should not be on the market!) 『The 1st time I used the clip it fell off as soon as I sat in my car, I heard the phone drop to the ground when I reached to close the car door. The clip slips off your belt loop even easier than it does on. The clip is worthless and gives buyers a false sense of security by making them think their phone is secure. The reality is that at some point while moving around, especially bending or sitting, the phone is going to work its way off the belt loop and fall to the ground or be left behind in a restaurant, etc.

A very good upgrade from most stock headphone and are very comfortable which is important! I took them to my trip to europe and lots to time traveling means lots of time wearing headphones. These are not top of the line headphones but very good sound in my opinion. For the price, they cannot be beat. Keep in mind, these are earbuds, and for music on the go so I was never expecting it to produce phenomenal sound. I was very disappointed when one of the earbuds stopped producing sound. I was ready to buy another pair when I read all the positive reviews about their customer service. I usually don't like to deal with any customer service if I don't have to(really bad experiences!). But I sent them an email about the warranty and within a day or two, they shipped another brand new pair of earbuds and I didn't have to send back the defective pair. Also it comes with another 1 year warranty. It is definitely the best customer service experience I've had with any product. There's really no risk if you haven't bought a pair yet. It is well worth the investment. One note that I have is that these are not good for jogging for working out, they tend to fall out after a lot of jiggling and the sweat doesn't help either. So I wouldn't recommend them for the gym/running.』

Best reason to get these is for the fact that if they do die or whatever, you'll be taken care of by great customer service.』

It would be 5-stars if both ports provided full USB power at the same time for faster charging, but this will fit any road warrior need.』

(Get what you pay for) 『If you are really price conscious then I am surprised you even own an iPhone. With that said you shouldn't skimp on things to protect it. This case (included with my purchase of my phone) is not something I would buy even if it is a penny. They silicone is very then and doesn't wrap around the phone well so it has a very high tendency to slip back. I recommend buying one that comes over the top and bottom of the phone. Hope this helps.』
