『Really happy with this product. Great sound for the price. I'm very picky on sound quality, so generally I'd prefer to pay more for better sound--but for an easily portable unit, you can't beat this little gem. The sound is bright and impressive. Given the compact size it's no surprise the weakness is in the bass range, but the trebles are very good. The only disappointment I've had is the remote does not work until you get within a 5 foot range; at that point I can just push the buttons--so the remote is nearly worthless (hence 4 and not 5 stars). Ignore reviews that complain it does not work with the iPhone; it does (listening right now). Ignore the warning message asking to go to airplane as indicated in the instructions mode by checking "no." Also, the unit charges the iPod, which is a nice bonus.』

『The Pipe speaker dock and it's responsive remote control allows me to listen to my music in a professional office environment.
Whether I want to "rock out" and get motivated or "chill" when my day gets stressful, I simply dock my first generation iphone to it and select "NO" when prompted to go to airplane mode. The remote control let's me change the volume or track instantly or just shut it down if the situation calls for it. The volume output is perfectly acceptable for background music, just don't expect to crank it up or you will get distortion. In my office setting there are a ton of cell phones and electronic equipment and on occasion I'll get a speaker buzz for a few seconds which is annoying, but understandable. I've ordered another one for my home and think the Pipe is a great value for the money and a great gift for any age.』

『I've always heard the Shure makes awesome in ear headsets and have always wanted to try a pair. The only thing holding me back at the time was price. I came across these on Amazon and the price was excellent for these higher end plugs. Sound quality and great and I love the ability to removed all outside noise. Perfect for a work environment. 『These things sound fantastic. They are very clear and bass plenty of bass. Initially I began listening to them on the acoustic setting on my ipod because the sounded a little muffled, but after break in they sound great with no eq adjustment for my ears. I use these things for work(8 to 10 hours a day), studying, and working out. I listen to a variety of of music including heavy bands (protest the hero, a day to remember), punk(nofx), jazz(Louis Armstrong), Classical(Chopin, Beethoven, Yuja Wang), Rap(Eminem, Jay-Z), Pop(Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Lily Allen), and idie (Meg&Dia, Tegan and Sara). Acoustically these things are great, but that is not imply that they are perfect, I think it ultimately depends on what you want and how you plan on using them. I have found these to be uncomfortable. The wrap over the ear idea, which seems to be a design in which they are trying to eliminate wire noise, which is very effective becomes a nuisance. Also because of the wrap over the ear design it is very difficult to listen to just one ear bud, which is what I do at work for safety reasons. Furthermore, I always find myself twisting for better sound, the sound port is very small and if you do not have them sitting just right in you ear it will effect the sound. I have tried every size and both styles, no luck. The small sound port also eliminates one being able to sleep with them on, if you lay on one side the ear bud`s small sound will always mashed into a position that blocks all the sound. Once you gets a good seal, these things still blow me away. I go back and listen to my other ear buds and I am surprised how much better these things sound. I normally purchase within the 50 dollar range. I would recommend these to someone if they have a snobby ear and do not need to use them for extended periods of time. I find them very comfortable under 4 hours and anything beyond that seem to become a nuisance.』

『Not particularly good as compared to even my iphone-included earbuds. I was surprised, but not in a good way. One thing, they are quieter. Two, they don't have as much bass as i hoped for $70. Basically same or less than my apple ones. The only good about them (possibly), is the form factor. They do block the outside sound, IF they stay in your ear canal. Of course my ear is not a Shure ear, so none of the foamy thingies keep them well implanted in my ear. Not happy. I suppose the next level up from $15 earbuds is $300 :(』

(Aural Bliss on the NYC Subways)
『Pure aural bliss- as soon as I plugged these Shure earphones into my ears while riding the NYC subways. In the subways, I could hear nothing with those cheap $10 earphones. Now with these babies- wow, the subway grind fades into the background and I only hear the music and podcasts up front. Yes, you can definitely hear music and audio podcasts over the 80 or 90 decibel noise on the trains.

The cables are a bit thinner than I expected, so I'm not sure how long they'll last. Also unexpected is that when I opened the box, a configurable set of earplugs were already put on the earphones- and I've been using them out of the box. I tried to replace them with another set of smaller ear canal plugs- but so far I haven't been able to remove them delicately following the printed instructions. I may have to use brute force- but that'll be a last resort.

(Avoid this product; poor quality)
『This step down converter is, in theory, designed for continuous use, provided you use it with the correct wattage appliance.

I used it as a supplement for my laptop, which draws at 130 watts. (The latop battery can handle up to 220-240V power, and only requires a plug adaptor, but I wanted to use the converter as a supplement/buffer for the battery, and it came in handy as a kind of short extension cord.) This converter is designed to support up to 200 watts, and I only needed 130 -- but it quit on me 4 days into a 4 month trip. It ran hot, but did not smell burned -- it simply stopped working after about 12 cumulative hours of use. Truly a waste of money. I recommend trying a different brand.』

(Worked when others didn't but died on 10th day)

『I have looked at over 30 similar products to find the right one for use in my car. I mounted it horizontally to a panel right next to the air-vent. It looks tidy and neat and small, and holds the iPhone very steadily and professionally. It can be adjusted upward and sideway slightly, no big motion or angles. One negative thing that comes with the positive features is that the "perfect fit" of the holder would push the volumn button on the side of the iPhone when the iPhone is slided into the holder. The best way to avoid that is to slide the phone half way into the holder. When take the iPhone out from the holder, it is always better to hold the iPhone with one finger on the top and the other at the bottom and slide it off the holder or just push it up from the bottom, otherwise, it is quite likely that the volumn button would be messed up. I still think it is the most suitable and neat looking iPhone holder for use in car.』

The myGrid doesn’t take up a lot of space, making it ideal for counter tops, nightstands or just about any flat surface near an electrical outlet. The pad measures 6.75” x 8.5”, enough room for up to four devices, and the actual charging surface is less than 1/8” thick.

Installing and using the Power Clip™

myGrid is easy to use:
Step 1. Insert the proper tip into the device’s charging port. Press the tip into the charging port and ensure a proper fit.

Step 2. Place the Power Clip on the tip and make sure the two are seated together properly, then swivel the Power Clip over the center of the phone and press firmly into place (the adhesive backing on the Power Clip should be removed prior to installation).

Step 3. Ready to charge, place the device on to the myGrid charging pad making sure that it rests fully on the pad. The blue indicator light will appear on the myGrid charging pad when the device is being charged properly.

myGrid is easy to use:
Step 1. Carefully insert your device into the Power Sleeve.

Step 2. Use your fingers to stretch the Power Sleeve over the top of the device.

Step 3. Ready to charge, place the device on to the myGrid charging pad making sure that it rests fully on the pad. The blue indicator light will appear on the myGrid charging pad when the device is being charged properly.

Safe to touch

If the system is functioning properly and there is no fault detected (i.e. keys, metal object or a hand placed on the charging pad) then the indicator light will turn off in 3-5 seconds. You are now ready to charge your myGrid-enabled devices. Simply place them on the myGrid charging pad with the contacts facing down. The blue indicator light will light up to show you that your devices are receiving power.

If a fault is detected, the indicator light will (1) not appear upon initial power up or (2) turn off during operation.

When not in use, the myGrid charging pad will be in Sleep Mode. In this mode, the charging surface and the indicator light both turn off.
