(Don't waste your money!) 『Bought this FM transmitter after some online blogs few months ago for my iPhone 3G. I thought it came with a 3-year warranty so it wouldn't be too bad even if something went wrong. It turned out everything went wrong. The product was ok to begin with. I managed to get a couple relatively clean channels and used it for about a couple months. Then the transmitter started producing pretty bad static noise and eventually gave up (no longer in sync with the radio and would not even charge the phone). Now the worst part, their customer service is NON-EXISTANT. I filled their online forums 3 times in past two weeks but nothing came back from them. Apparently they don't care about their customers. I finally fed up and threw this piece of crap into garbage can. My advice to you, the potential buyers, forget about buying this thing online, try local Best Buy and pay little extra for something else, you have much better chance. 』

(Another Try) 『I have been buying one cassette adapter after another (yes, I am doing my part to revive our economy), and I have been frustrated again and again. With the Monster iCarPlay Cassette Adapter 800 I have finally found a cassette adapter that doesn't rattle as the spokes turn in my vehicle's player; however, I have found a cassette adapter that instead provides a low hum. It sounds like an impedance mismatch or grounding problem but I am not a big expert on audio problems so I cannot say for sure. Most of the time, the music covers the hum (just as it did the rattles) but I hear it when there is low or no music. (It actually helps to remind me the adapter is still in and the player on, as did the rattle, of course, but that is not ideal.)
For others with music quality problems, I would ask if you have turned down the volume on your player to prevent overdriving the cassette heads. This is a basic step for me, but I am not sure if it is common knowledge for everyone.
Love that the rattle is gone. Hate that there is a low hum (as I am easily bothered by certain noises, as if you couldn't guess). Like the shorter cord (as my iPhone/iPod sit close to the cassette player and the longer cords of other adapters get all tangled). Like the black color with a touch of red (aesthetics).
Still searching for the perfect adapter.

The Griffin TuneBuds appears to be a lot more durable than the iPhone buds without sacrificing the remote control functions or microphone for hands-free conversations while I'm driving. The Griffin has better isolation from surrounding noise which results in improved highs and lows for music, podcasts and is very good for telephone conversations. The Griffin remote control button also has the bonus feature of multi-click function that allows me to skip forward or backward on my iTune music list instead of connecting to my last telephone call. This is a personal choice but I prefer more direct (visual) control on who I call on my iPhone.』
(Its not if they will break, it's when..) 『I've had three pairs of these, one I bought and two I had replaced under warranty. I have no complaints about them when they are in brand new condition. The problem is that they break very easily, and have multiple points of failure:
1. microphone malfunction 2. button failure 3. connector failure at jack 4. wiring failure in microphone casing
Most of these failures will probably be prevented if you handle these VERY gingerly, however I expect to be able to stuff these in a pocket or bag when not in use. The truth is that these, along with most other ear buds under $150, are made of very cheap components and thread-like copper wiring. I wouldn't have a problem with it if these were one half or one third the price, but at $40 I'd expect higher quality build.
One great thing about these is that Griffin customer support is fantastic and they will send you a replacement pair at no cost or hassle. It's not worth the time for me (shipping takes several days), so I'll be sticking to cheaper ear buds that I can just toss when they fail. Griffin, if you are reading this, you should fulfill your warranty replacements through Amazon Prime. I'd buy another pair in a heartbeat knowing I'd have a replacement pair overnight when they fail..』

(Griffin TuneBuds are OK) 『I agree with many of the earlier reviews on these earbuds. The cable is unique and less prone to tangling than other cables. That is one of the few plusses. However, the sound quality is not that good. They sound tinny with very little bass response. Music often sounds abrasive and thin. I agree that the spoken word setting works best in the equalizer settings on the iPhone. The original pliable inserts did not fit as well in my ears as the inserts from an earlier set of earbuds, so I swapped them. Even then, the size of the earbuds tends to make them work their way out relatively easily. On more than one occasion I was asked to not use the headset because the listener could not hear me well enough through the microphone - I was driving in my car with the radio off, so it must have just been the background sound of the car that garbled the voice channel. Unplugging the headset resulted in a much clearer signal for my listener. On other occasions, it did not appear to be a problem. I have reverted to using a better sounding (but just as cheap) set of earbuds for just listening to music. When I get a call, I unplug them so that I can talk.』
