Then I looked at Amazon. They did the search for me, and when it became available, YAY!! Thanks!!! Gets everyone in the house moving. I cant get enough of Cotton eyed JOE! This group combines country with disco. How often do you hear that? If you like disco, but not country, or country but not disco, there's a good chance you'll like this. Good music to dance to, or just tap your foot in time with the beat. We're asked not to mention other reviews, but the one listed here slamming this music, take it with a BIG grain of salt. Listen to what this person likes.......Euro/Techno/Garage band trash by the likes of Arcade Fire and Interpol, but if you like Rednex, there's something wrong with you? Yeah, ok.....right. If you listen to Rednex, you're part of what's wrong with America? I think not. What's wrong with America is narrow-minded people like him. Amazon should not even have his review listed, since he did not list exactly what it was he didn't like about the music of Rednex, but instead, just insulted all of those who DO like their music. That's not a review. I loved Rednex ever since I heard Cotton Eye Joe for the first time. I love techno but hate all-styles of Country music. But when you mix in Techno It sounds awesome. There are a couple slow songs I don't care for. But most of the Album follows the Cotton Eye Joe style. #1-I pay attention to nothing. #2-I say I am a "music lover" and I love Rednex. Enough said. #3-I might or might not love Abba and Aqua. #4-The best weekend ever for me is going to see a concert featuring Smashmouth opening for Sugar Ray!!! #5-I own a car with flames painted on it and/or have a "Calvin" skicker on the back of my car pissing on something. #6-You keep "Now that what I call Music" on it's 19th+ year of success. #7-You are what's wrong with America. Well, maybe not the whole reason. Leave it to the Swedes to feed us back only the best of American kitsch. The gimmick: Techno as made by country bumpkins, bluegrass house music. Utterly dumb, but thoroughly enjoyable. Even a little subversive, perhaps, given the international smash hit "Cotton-Eye Joe," a helplessly catchy disco reworking of an age-old traditional folk tune, slyly coded, and implying what? "Had it not been for Cotton-Eye Joe / I'd been married long time ago." Maybe a botched abortion, maybe venereal disease; either way, a hot-button still today. But don't be mistaken, any political sentiment is almost certainly unintentional. Rednex is all joke, from the banjos and fiddles to the sequencers and drum loops. On a level with the Village People (anyone say subversive?), the Rednex were concocted by producer Pat Reiniz, recorded with a cast of studio musicians, and fronted by five hillbilly role players. Though Rednex fails when it deviates from the formula, it more often works on the knowledge that bluegrass and techno share a fast and steady beat, and can thus stand fusion. It also succeeds simply because it's never been done before (not unless you count Malcolm McLaren or Big Audio Dynamite). First of all, you can only watch the videos once because there's talking THROUGHOUT from experts, the couples themselves and people on the street. That info is cool the first time you watch them, but after that I'm more interested in the scenes. You can't watch any of the scenes without fast forwarding through the commentary. Next, a lot of the scenes were extemely boring and ordinary. The only really good scene is the one on S/M. We were pleasantly surprised by how good these DVDs are. The African American couples are attractive and loving, and the sex scenes are beautifully shot. Basic instructional information is included that will definitely get you in the mood to talk more openly about sex with your partner. You definitely get your money's worth with the Gift Set, and we found it sparked us to be more creative and keep our sex life flourishing. First of all I must say that for the price of this set you definitely get your money's worth. This DVD set was very informative and very entertaining as well.Along with the book SoulMates: An Illustrated Guide to Black Love, Sex, and Romance by Eric V. Copage and this DVD set you have a complete set of instrucional material to aid in your sex education especially tailored for African-Americans. The book further expalins the concepts the shown in the DVDs, which was also helpful for those of us who like a little more detail. I highly recommend both products. This video received a 4 star because there are so few AA instructional videos that are professionally done. I would give this set to a very young couple just getting married. The information is basic. However, for the more experienced it gives you some sensual scenes to get you in the mood or to get you and your mate talking about sex. Both volumes interview people on the street about oral sex, foreplay, anal sex, role playing, sex outside the bedroom (park, jacuzzi). Then you are given little sex scenes with very loving AA couples. The video will definitely arouse you. I learned something from the massage lesson. It's a very nice set with three pleasant looking couples with intelligence and confidence in the bedroom. I recommend it. I do have one fault with the company that made the video. The same set/video/dvd are sold with a different name. I thought I would take advantage of having an AA collection of four when really "Loving Sex" volume 1 is thesame as Intimate Loving volume 1 and Loving Sex volume 2 is the same as Intimate Loving volume two. (Please!) (Fun and frolic!) (WHY don't they make movies like this anymore??) Howard Hawkes can do it all. The screwball comedy was never better and alas never will be better. I suppose you could say this is a gimmick picture as they use a live leopard in a number of scenes. The Cary Grant brontosaurus has a small part as well. Hepburn sees Cary the four-eyed prof and goes after the befuddled handsome man with everything a 1930's girl has. Madcap motor-mouth one liners rip away. Cary is embarrassed, disgraced, and horrified for ninety minutes till Hepburn cannot be denied. Amazing fast pace and editing for one of the finest comedies ever made; it can be watched again and again. This movie is absolutely hilarious! I just love Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn in this film! She has her own unique character in this film, she is a bit ditzy, but head over heels in love with Cary Grant's character. He, however, doesn't feel the same about her, but is reluctant to stay with her because she asks him to, or because she keeps preventing him from leaving! This movie is definitely one of my favorite old black&whites. This is so BAD! It's not funny, at all. It's simply not funny. No plot, laughs, likable charaters, nothing good. Skip it, skip it, skip it. No one can be as simply comedic (and clean, too) in slapstick situations as Cary Grant&Katharine Hepburn! This is a good movie to watch when you just want to see ordinary people in absurd, goofy situations. It is great for 'family night' and it is great for an evening alone! Have fun with it! I've seen this movie about 50 times and it NEVER stops being funny! It's clean, it's silly, it's just a GREAT laugh without any ugliness or violence like everything THINKS it has to have today to be good. Cary Grant is totally out of his "leading man" character in this movie and he's fantastic! This shows no matter what he's asked to play, he's up for the challenge. Katherine Hepburn is one of my all time favorites and as always, she's at the top of her game as a fast talking, often confusing (to poor Cary's character), EVER hysterical, rich girl who seems to have lost her tiger. One of my favorite movie scenes is when she loses the back of her dress and he has to walk her through a restaurant close to her back so no one can see her " accident!" This movie is defintely worth watching over and over especially if you've had a bad day in the "real world" and want to escape to a rip roaring good time that's BOUND to make you giggle and make that bad day melt away! For a primer on the rules and regulations of the classic screwball comedy, which throws love and conflict into close proximity, look no further. A straight-laced paleontologist (Cary Grant) loses a dinosaur bone to a dog belonging to free-spirited heiress Katharine Hepburn. In trying to retrieve said bone, Grant is drawn into the vortex surrounding the delicious Hepburn, which becomes a flirtatious pas de deux that will transform both of them. Shows that something can be done about what goes on in this world that shouldn't. This movie was really eye opening about the realities of the human slave trade which is a real evil that exists in today's world. It makes you feel compassion towards those who are caught up in this as slaves, and anger for the injustices of those who are motivated by greed to sell another human life which they have no right to do. I think for a television series they exposed just enough to make you sick and make you want to do something. They didn't make it a feel good sunshine movie, they showed the hard core truth of human trafficking and the lives that it destroys. I give it five stars for the truth it produces!
