(more think pieces would be too many) 『The trick is to go to logical analysis when 9 think-pieces aren't enough. If you're using more think-pieces than that, you're not thinking enough! One additional help is to train yourself to see patterns by using strips of paper or plastic to visually show yourself the rows and columns that are "covered" for the number you're working on. This wooden set allows you to do that easily. The large size numbers are easy on the eyes. The wood is lovely to gaze at and the pieces feel good in the hand. There's also a color Sudoku wooden board game that uses colors and no numbers. It's a nice option for keeping the brain agile, and it's very pretty to use, though it doesn't come with the wonderful little storage drawers that this set has. Maybe Amazon carries it by now, but I had to order it directly from the manufacturer a couple of years ago. We love them both.』
(Wooden working pieces) 『The product is as described, but I was disappointed and frustrated by the lack of wooden thinking pieces. I purchased this product for my wife who found the lack of thinking pieces frustrating. The hidden drawer for the pieces certainly has more than enough room to house more. I noticed before my purchase that another customer responded about the lack of thinking pieces. I discounted this criticism. I wish I hadn't. What to do? Back to paper and pencil.』
(Not enough thinking numbers) 『I like the wooden sudoku board, but there are only 9 of each thinking numbers. There should be 2 or 3 times that numbers. Where can more thinking numbers be purchased? This board is not that useful without enough thinking numbers. Usually there are one or two numbers on a specific puzzle which you need a lot thinking numbers of.』
(Disappointed) 『Wood Expressions Wooden Sudoku I am very disappointed in the quality and design of the product. The tile storage drawers fall open when the game is moved, and because of the design of the storage space, the tiles can jam inside the drawer, making it difficult to get all of the tiles out. I had seen the plastic set by Briarpatch Sudoku Game at a friend's, and wanted one for myself. I ordered the Wood Expressions set (almost twice the cost) because the Briarpatch set was not available in local stores or through Amazon. In my opinion the Briarpatch set is a much better product, and certainly a better value.』 『Sudoku is the hottest game on the market right now and can be seen in daily newspapers as well as trendy magazines. (Good for beginners, not very difficult) 『After reading some of the reviews, I decided to purchase this book. Like most people, I am addicted to these pixel puzzles but this book was just way to easy. Almost like a waste of time if you are very experienced. For a beginner, all the puzzles are introductory. For advanced people, I would suggest Paint-doku (Puzzles). This is by far the best and most difficult book that I have tried.』
(Not my favorite) 『I love Nintendo's Picross and wanted some paper versions of the grid puzzles for airplanes and for more puzzle variety. I purchased this book along with paint by sudoku, and have to say I prefer the other book. This one isn't bad though, the puzzles are arranged one on a page with cute titles that hint at the final picture, and are rated easy to hard in ascending order. I haven't gotten past moderate level puzzles yet but so far I'm unimpressed with the pictures. The easy puzzles are relaxing and fun to do, but I've had to look up the answers several times just to find out what thing it is that I just drew and make sure I did it correctly.』

The puzzles are too large, making it such a chore to fill in all the squares. It's a fun game, though, and at least the puzzles are interesting.』 『Imagine finishing a Sudoku puzzle and getting a picture of a cat, fireworks, or even a movie star, instead of a box of numbers. I couldn't understand the adult versions no matter how hard i tried, then i bought Kindergarten Sudoku and this one came with it as a package deal. Finally somebody got it right. Step by step puzzle examples they do some puzzles for you step by step in seperate boxes to show you how to get the answers, not just writing them in. It makes sense. The grids are large and the numbers clear. Some of the art work is distracting, it's very large and all over the place, but it's a cute book. I recommend this book for adults and children of all ages. By the end of the day i almost finished the entire book. This is a great way to really understand the rules and how to play Sudoku.
