I bought this at the same time I bought my Rubik's Cube (about a month ago). I've used the Rubik's Cube so many times my forearms hurt, but I've only used this 'toy' once. Not even once actually. In fact, the first time I moved the top layer it broke a corner piece and it went flying.
The FIRST twist!!! Are you kidding me!?!?
I honestly cannot rate this toy for its educational or fun value cuz I haven't used it (it's broke). What I can say is: "This toy sucks and I would not buy it!"
If they make it durable...maybe I'd try it again. After all, I love puzzles. But it isn't durable and was a waste of money.

The answer key in the back appears to have a mistake. On the on bonus 12 square ones the answers have a 13 but no 12. But It wouldn't affect solving them and you can check your work without looking at the answers.』

Pros: 1. No pieces no lose, no tables to commandeer 2. You sort your pieces in "trays" just like you would do on a table. You can have as many trays as you like. 3. No threat of someone messing it up when you're not around. You can save your puzzle and go back to it later. 4. You can set the level of difficulty to suit your mood. There are four levels of difficulty. 5. It even plays music while you work (you can turn it off) 6. Fun for the whole family (unless you upload x-rated photos)
Cons: 1. It's not quite as good as the real thing, but it comes close. 2. When you've played the easy stages with the pieces the right way up and a background image to guide you, it's hard to make yourself graduate to the hard stuff. 3. You can't experience the sweet sensation of finding mistakes, because once a piece is in the right vicinity it jumps gleefully into place, and can't be dislodged. Not sure if you can turn this off, but I'm going to see if I can. 4. There are several categories of puzzle themes, and you need to load each section individually. This is a bit of a pain, as you have to close all IE or Firefox applications to do it.
Recommended for puzzle lovers who are short on puzzle-fixing space, and people who'd like to be able to do puzzles on a laptop while commuting. A great way to utilise some spare time.

This by far is the best Sudoku game out there either on PC or console. It's extremely addictive not just because it's Sudoku (duh!) but also because the gameplay is so smooth.
Choose a difficulty level from 1 to 10 and the game will properly create a challenge according to your preference. I enjoy playing at level 10 and it can get very tough.
The game plays a very enjoyable tune in the background while you think. It can be paused on demand (the grid will be blocked and the clock stopped). You can set it in fullscreen mode or a window. You just need to use your mouse: left-click to set a number or right click to set a mark. The game will also allow you to print random games in pdf format so you can print them and play them when not in front of the computer.
The interface of the game is very pleasant to the eye. I found myself staring at the screen for 15 minutes in a row while playing in full mode and I barely blinked.
Gamehouse Sudoku has one tiny flaw. The game will warn you when you place duplicate numbers in a row, column or square. Not a big deal considering most players don't make that mistake but the developers could have have prevented that. Other than that, the game is top-notch.
Also, the game barely uses any resources. I played it on a netbook and didn't see any performance changes compared to my desktop PC.
And for the price of $7, it's a steal. What are you doing there sitting thinking about it? Buy this game right now. You won't regret a single cent spent on it.
