I have become a Sudoku addict since I discovered it a couple of years ago.
This little book is perfect in several ways. The puzzles are easy to read, and the paper is very user friendly for the actual process. The puzzles are just about the right level for me; I am not always interested in progressing to the next level, and I have several other books that I use when I do. I would really appreciate it if this publisher would publish more of this type&level of puzzle book for folks who enjoy and order this one. I am willing to spend a higher price in order to play this type of puzzle book rather than the $1 ones you can buy on the newsstands.

200 New Puzzles -- From Easy to Just About Difficult

Su Doku, "the crossword without words," comes with a warning: it is seriously addictive. You don't need to be a mathematical genius to solve these puzzles; it is simply a question of logic and a little patience.

(The Puzzles Have More Than One Solution- Disappointing)

One of the criteria for a Sudoku puzzle is that it has one unique solution. I have attempted approximately 25% of the puzzles in this book and have found that 2/3 of those do not have a unique solution. (Most of the offenders are near the beginning of the book.) Therefore, it seems that this book does not contain true Sudoku puzzles and is NOT a real Sudoku book. Don't waste your pennies or your time.
Like the earlier review, I find that this book of puzzles all have more than one solution. It is irritating to get to the end of the puzzle and find that there are several right choices. It doesn't give me the "completed" feel that I like to have after finishing one of these puzzles!
I bought the level three book.I bought it because I enjoy Sudoku puzzles and this one is small enough to fit in my small purse and spiral-bound for ease of use. However, the puzzles are disappointing, because usually there is only one place for each number in each square and line, but in this book, toward the end of the puzzle I find there is more than one place for some of the numbers to go. In other words, there can be more than one solution. I have solved eight or so of the puzzles and most of them are this way. I am ready to throw out this book. Oh well, it was a waste of only $2.00.
Good little Sudoku book to fit in bag or pocket....a bit smaller than I had expected (I probably didn't read the description correctly) but enough puzzles to make it worth the price....
Sudoku is a type of logic puzzle that has been popular in Japan for about 20 years. However, the world has caught on to the challenge of sudoku.
