I just love the jigsaw sudokus, and I especially love Djape's creations. More please.......and of course there are just not enough KILLER JIGSAWS in this world that I can get my hands on. I have bought dozens of books (- the magazines I find at the newsagent are good for relaxation; many of the books are more interesting). But Djape's books I can always rely on for a challenging, creative puzzle - whichever type I'm currently hooked on. Need the variety too of course! ps I failed math at high school, and my general logic brain is unreliable.....』

The twisted variation on Sodoko is a great idea but these puzzles are VERY difficult almost from the beginning. The author explains a technique for doing the more difficult ones that I have read and reread numerous times and still cannot figure out what he means or how to apply it. You better be a master at Sodoko and other puzzles if you expect to get beyond the first 20-30 puzzles in this book.』 『Jigsaw (or irregularly shaped) Sudoku puzzles share the same rules with classic Sudoku. The only difference is that the nine nonets are, well, irregularly shaped. This makes the puzzles slightly harder than the original Sudoku and surely more entertaining, because every puzzle has a unique nonet design and therefore, they can never become boring. The brief comments on triples were something new and an addition to my toolbox. With that said I think it is worth buying after trying a few days on your own. It will give you some idea of the terminology, and you may pick up an idea or two. The examples and walk throughs are well done. And the price is right!』

I went through this entire book in two days and loved it. It does something none of the other books do. It teaches the basics of logic and takes you through every step so that you can make sure you understand it. If you are a beginner get this book first and don't even look at anything else. If you are stuck at finding hidden triples, X-wings, and Swordfish get this book. This book restores my belief that Sudoku is a logic puzzle and not just some braniacs trying to prove how brilliant they are. Skip the fancy stuff and have fun and after some therapy with this book, go back to the fancy stuff.』
