『We recently hosted a party and some of our guests played Telepathy for 2 hours straight. What a great way to break the ice! This is a very smart and challenging game. Also, we don't mind the kids playing it too. You have to appreciate wholesome entertainment that encourages them to think!』

(Not nearly as much fun as I hoped...)
『These puzzles were not only not as fun as regular Sudoku, but weren't as challenging either. They were more like the "training" Sudokus my 9-year old does. And as for having anything to do with Scrabble (one of my favorite games ever), the letters of the word you fit into the boxes are drawn on tiles at the bottom of the page, and that's it. I suppose the words were unusual enough that if you committed them to memory, they might help you out when playing Scrabble, but I would rather memorize 8-letter words (all of these are 7) so I could use all of my tiles connected to one on the board.』

(Another fun Wordoku puzzle book)
『Like Frank Longo's other letter based Sudoku books (The Official Book of Wordoku: Sudoku Puzzles for Word Lovers, TRIVIAL PURSUIT Sudoku (Trivial Pursuit) and others), this book has you solving the Sudoku's to spell out a word either across, down or on a diagonal. What makes this one different is that the grid is only 7 x 7 and because of that is in a jigsaw pattern of irregular shapes.

Solving the puzzles takes a double shift in your thinking, first to try to find the word that is the "solution" word and also to just solve the jigsaw aspect of the Sudoku.

Definitely worth adding to your collection of Sudoku variations.

(It IS a Big Book!)
『Mine hasn't had any pages fall out as it did with another reviewer, but I have been tearing out pages and cutting them into quarters (there are four puzzles per page). I clip several to a piece of very heavy cardboard which makes it a much nicer size to handle.

I was concerned that the paper quality would be like newsprint because of the low price of the book, but I was very pleasently surprised that the paper quality is actually very nice and easy to erase when needed.

I like the fact that all of the puzzles use a combination of letters that spells out a word or an odd phrase (# 205 is PEANUTOIL) while you're doing the puzzle, and then you have to find the new word in puzzle when it's done. (#205 is INTUITION - this one is found on the diagonal, so it can use some letters more than once and others not at all.)

This is so much more fun than a bunch of the same numbers over and over!』

(Great fun but the book itself...)
『This book has 8, 9 and 10-letter grids, which means there's something for every expertise level. My favorite is the 10-letter puzzles.

The only drawback is that because of the size of the book, it eventually falls apart. The pages in the middle came out. I now carry stacks of pages rather than the entire book. The publisher should definitely consider making this a spiral bound book.』
