『The puzzles are medium not easy puzzles, they progressively get harder. I prefer higher quality paper but so far the games have been easy enough. Killer puzzles are great sudoku and math puzzle combination's.』

『I'm a killer sudoku fiend. They don't publish them fast enough! The Times books are very good. They're not symmetric, like some other publishers' puzzles, but that doesn't matter much to me. I'm only about half through this one, but so far the difficulty level is going up smoothly.
Note that this book starts at "moderate" difficulty, so new solvers should start with an easier book. Under each puzzle they put an average time for completion and a place to write how long it took you to solve it. I don't know how they came up with these numbers -- I'm about 3 to 5 times quicker than the suggested times.
I still prefer the Djape books (higher quality paper and the best puzzles), but this satisfies my cravings nicely.』

『Killer SuDoku is my favorite puzzle and the "Times" are the best constructed of all the ones I have tried. If you like logic and math puzzles these are a good challenge. I wish they had a different name, they are such a different puzzle than SuDoku - which I find boring.』

『It's true. These are not the hardest puzzles I can do. They don't take me days. But they are a solid collection of medium puzzles that take 10-15 minutes to do. My parents are too challenged by them, and they typically like doing the 3-star (out of 5) from the local paper. My husband and I also share a copy of Longo's absolutely nasty book 2, and those take 45 minutes each. I'm buying our 3rd copy of this one (after 500, we can't remember each individual one, so we start over with a fresh copy).』

(Not challenging, uniformly easy puzzles)
『I bought this book thinking it would be somewhat challenging and because (as another reviewer has mentioned) there were 500+ puzzles for<$10. Unfortunately he puzzles start out easy and do not increase in difficulty. I don't belong to Mensa and I don't consider myself a Sudoku master, but I've worked more interesting Sudoku puzzles in the newspaper.』

I did all 534 puzzles in this book, and not ONE of them was more than "easy". Most could be finished in minutes simply by looking for "easy 1s" then "easy 2s" and so on. Do not buy this book if you are looking for challenging sudoku puzzles.』

『While this book may not be the ultimate challenge for Sudoku masters, it has puzzles more challenging than the Sudoku you get in the newspaper. I found it perfect for me.
The puzzles are laid out well and answers in the back if you take a wrong turn. Good number of puzzles to solve for the money. I enjoy picking up the book and doing 1 or 2 a day when I want to wind down, so the book has lasted over a year.

『The title is misleading; this is really an elementary sudoku puzzle book with very little change in the degree of difficulty between the beginning and the end. However, this is a very good book for a beginner who is addicted but not yet an intermediate puzzler.

I found the martial arts sudoku series much better for true sudoku (and kakuro) connoisseurs.』
