customer 's review (sugar snap peas) Peas did not come up good...only several plants came up...not sure why... but was dissapointed in them... may have been too late in the season...will try again next year... Representing a new generation of garden peas, Sugar Snap is a winner of the prestigious All America Selections Gold Metal. Crisp, crunchy, and delicious, it's eaten whole - pods and peas - when the pods are plump and round. Serve fresh in salads, with dip, stir fried or steamed. Good for freezing. Grows best in cool weather. 65-70 days to maturity. Rerations < Sugar Snap Peas 125 or More Seeds - 1979 All-America Selection Winner >

She was sick for about the first 4 days I used it, so I had to stop. She does have medical issues so it probably wouldn't make other dogs ill. With antibiotics and eye drops, her stains cleared up anyway. Now I have a whole jar and can't use it. Sweet Potato Angel Eyes is the flavor for picky dogs. I found that this flavor is very mild. My Papillon would not eat the other flavors. After 2 months of usuing this product, her stains are almost gone. This product does work. You have to use it as directed and you will see results. (Roaring 20's Fun)
(If I may opine - this is the best broadway CD you'll ever find!) Found this under "new and used" - thus, paid a little less for a new CD. If you like the show, you'll enjoy it. Thoroughly Modern Millie captures the essence of 1920's flappers. Each song moves you effortessly though the story of the show. As you listen The voice of Sudden Foster will convince you that she is Millie. It is a great story told through music. Even if you have yet to seen the musical live I highly reccomend purchesing this CD. It will become one of your favorite Broadway soundtrack's of all time
Sutton Foster is a gift to all of us. Watch how she commits herself to everything she does. She doesn't SING a song, she LIVES it.
She has inspired many people to sing with their full energy. Her Millie is tops.
We were thrilled to record Gimme Gimme for the new CD: Liz Seymour - That Thing Called Love. If it hadn't been for Sutton's inspiration, this recording never would have happened.
Buy everything she does - she's that good!

If you'd like a pick -me -up, this is the show to listen to. Great music, a wonderful score, and just fun to listen to. Sutton Foster is just great in the lead. (I think her first show.) If you saw the movie, well, not so crazy, but the basics are still there. It would help a lot if you can catch a touring company or even a high school production. Then the music would make more sense. But try it, you'll like it. I'm only sorry I missed the B'way original. But I think it will be around in revival; it's such fun. I purchased the CD knowing nothing about the show when my yearly subscription to my local theater included Millie. When it came time to see the show a few months later I knew every word to every song having listened to it continuously. The CD is that good. It has turned into my all time favorite CD as well as show. (I ended up seeing it three times!)
Sutton Foster's voice was really showcased in "Not For The Life Of Me", "Jimmy" and my favorite "Gimme Gimme". Ms. Foster has such a powerful range and it's almost like these songs were written specifically for her. You will truly be singing along. You'll not only be singing but also performing a little foot tapping of your own to go along with the pros in "The Speed Test". This song is not meant for listening to in the car for all you'll want to do is dance! The entire cast is perfectly chosen. You will just love the duet "How The Other Half Lives" with Ms. Foster and Angela Christian. Prior to even seeing the show I felt the personalities of each really showed just via this song. Marc Kurdisch in "The Speed Test" was amazing! He sang so quickly it reminded me of that fast talking guy from the commercials (FedEx??) from years ago. I could go on and on - everybody was wonderful!!
The CD booklet itself is worth the $$ as it comes with a write-up about the Broadway show as well as photos.
Buy this CD if you love Broadway in the least! Heck even if you're not a Broadway fan - you will be after this CD!!!
Although it's based on the 1967 movie of the same name,Thoroughly Modern Millieis almost thoroughly new. Composer Jeanine Tesori (Violet) and lyricist Dick Scanlan wrote a whole batch of songs, while retaining a couple from the movie--including the Jimmy van Heusen-Sammy Cahn title tune--and recycling even older material (look for Victor Herbert's "I'm Falling in Love with Someone" and the inventively arranged "Nuttycracker Suite"). Miraculously, the show, set during the jazz age, doesn't feel stitched together, and Tesori does a great job cranking out swinging melodies. Sutton Foster is appropriately brassy as Millie, but she can also tone it down, as in the beginning of "Gimme Gimme" (of course, she then proceeds to project up to the last rafters as the song builds to its climax). Harriet Harris, as nasty Mrs. Meers, steals the show with "They Don't Know." Close your eyes, listen to her, and you'll be back in Broadway's golden age.--Elisabeth Vincentelli Rerations < Thoroughly Modern Millie (2002 Original Broadway Cast) >

(swing, swing, swing !!!)
(Nice, lively musi)
(An Enduring Winner)
(Single Time Swing) I'm very disappointed in this CD. The only high quality thing about it is its selection -great tunes!
The problem is with the sound quality. The tunes all sound as if they are being played at the bottom of a deep well. Muffled! I have a $5500 sound system, but it sounds like I'm listening to a $20 bargain radio when I play this CD.
I bought this CD because other reviewers had given it an average score of 4.5 out of 5. With such a high score, I'd hoped that this recording producer had used modern technology to make those wonderful swing tunes come alive. Nope. Exhumed from the grave, but still dead.
Add to that, there isn't a scintilla of stereo separation. The entire swing band got stuffed together into that same (single) deep well. Arrrrrgh! I know I've heard these tunes played in full, rich, stereophonic glory on radios before, so great recordings are out there somewhere.
I truly love these old swing tunes! They're amazing works of musical genius that deserve to be heard like they're being played in front of you. Thus, I will keep on searching for a CD that has modern sound production. Anyone know of any such CDs out there? I don't care whether or not the tunes are played by Benny Goodman or Tommy Dorsey themselves, I just want a high quality production of the music. The Fabulous Swing Collection is one of the better single CD compilations we have of great swing music that took the country by storm in the 1930s and 1940s. This music still sounds great today; and many people have fond memories of the times they danced to these tunes when they were often performed live in dance halls and nightclubs. The quality of the sound is really rather good and I like the artwork.
Benny Goodman&His Orchestra open things up with a great rendition of "Don't Be That Way (Take 1)." The horn works very well for this number and Benny's band never lets us down! They do this flawlessly; and it sounds great even today. Glenn Miller&His Orchestra follow with their smash hit entitled "In the Mood." "In the Mood" is a number people remember well; this got lots of air play and many people danced to it back in the day. Similarly, "Opus One" by Tommy Dorsey&His Orchestra never disappoints; "Opus One" is a peppy little number that packs a huge, unforgettable punch and I always like hearing "Opus One."
Glen Gray&His Orchestra (with whom I'm less familiar) also make good with their hit, "Casa Loma Stomp." "Casa Loma Stomp" has a great beat and they never play a superfluous note! Great! Of course, we can't have a swing CD without the great Duke Ellington and his buddies doing their wonderful "Take the `A' Train;" "Take the `A' Train" hit the clubs big time and when you hear it you'll instantly know why. A personal favorite of mine is "Minnie the Moocher" by the incomparable Cab Calloway&His Cotton Club Orchestra; Cab Calloway could really swing and that Cotton Club was all the better off for it!
Listen also for "Back Bay Shuffle" by Artie Shaw&His Orchestra; Artie Shaw instinctively knew how to make great music and "Back Bay Shuffle" showcases his talents nicely. There's even a special number from Glenn Miller again when he and his buddies play "A String Of Pearls." "A String Of Pearls" sounds like pearls should sound--and that's quite all right by me. "Swingin' Uptown" by Jimmie Lunceford&His Orchestra is great; but they could have omitted "Mary Had a Little Lamb" by Fletcher Henderson&His Orchestra. Oh, well--no CD is perfect.
The CD ends very nicely. We get two solid numbers, "Flyin' Home" performed by Charlie Barnet&His Orchestra and then "Sing, Sing, Sing (With A Swing) (Parts 1&2)" by Benny Goodman&His Orchestra. "Sing, Sing, Sing (With A Swing) (Parts 1&2)" is classic swing music at its very apex and I think you'll like it very much if you haven't heard this one before.
This album is a great starter CD for people just getting into swing music; and it makes an affordable single CD swing music compilation, too. If you like this you should consider other CDs of swing music available for sale on this website.
I was looking for some lively swing music, and this fits the bill exactly. I only wish there were hours more of it! When this first came out over a decade ago from RCA Victor/BMG it was an instant winner among those Big Band fans starving for some CD material presenting the music of that era in quality AAD sound. Unlike many releases at that time, it even has three paragraphs in the insert describing the usual reception for these renowned groups when their buses rolled into town, along with a re-listing of the generous (for the time) 19 tracks showing recording dates and locations.
With so much to choose from in terms of material, I have to agree with those who assigned 5 stars to the tracks presented here, each in its own way representative of the music so popular from 1933 to 1940 (the span covered here). And yes, even to the inclusion of Fletcher Henderson's Mary Had A Little Lamb, a 1936 recording featuring a brief vocal by Teddy Lewis, but some of the best instrumental solos ever put to disc. Really, the title and the lyrics are incidental.
The same reviewer who lamented that selection, also had disparaging remarks for the "whitebread" Casa Loma Stomp, only the first of 64 hits for Glen Gray&His Casa Loma Orchestra (named after a famed Toronto nightclub which the band called home for a spell) which hit # 15 in January 1931 (this is a 1933 re-recording), as well as Bunny Berigan's rendition of All God's Chillun Got Rhythm (with vocal by Ruth Bradley). Yes, trying to do that in today's society would go over like a lead balloon - but this was 1937 and that year both Duke Ellington (# 14 instrumental) and Artie Shaw (# 15 with vocal by Tony Pastor) had hits with it.
Their inclusion in this historical volume is just fine, thank you very much. As the blurb says on the reverse "Foot-tappin' favorites&jumpin' jitterbugs from the Fabulous Swing Era! Over 64 minutes of the swingin'est singles ever!" And at a pretty decent price I might add. This is jitterbug. The title SWING is confusing. There is East Coast swing, West Coast swing, etc. This is big band swing. Only for limited use in teaching swing. Rerations < The Fabulous Swing Collection >

(not the great vinyl pressing this awesome album deserves)
(Wow)
(GOOD!!!) This is the album that made rich kids cut there writs, this is the album that made you look like a brat and this is the album that makes me want to start an emo genocide!!!!! you emos make me sick you look like your a walking Corpse. To all the emos out there grow your hair grab a cone and listen to some black metal. I bought Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge as a gift for my girlfriend. I didn't know anything about them except I had heard "I'm OK" once or twice. We put the cd in and the first song, "Helena" came on. I couldn't help but notice that it was a great song. "Give em Hell Kid" was next and it was just a blast. "Wow!" This continued for the entire cd, every song. I was blown away.
There is nothing about this album I don't like. It's dark and haunting and beautiful. And it just plain ROCKS! It has an energy and a feel unlike any other album I've heard.
The lyrics and vocals are absolutely brilliant. Gerard Way sings about the darker things in life while still covering a wide range of ideas. From zombies, life in prison, vengeful cowboys, dealing with loss, psychotic killers and drug addiction. One of the things that seperates My Chemical Romance from the rest is Gerard Way can really sing, and he delivers the lyrics with force and emotion.
The guitar playing is excellent as well. I would describe it as post metal punk rock. Though there are some very melodic parts, mostly it is straight ahead and aggressive. Ray Toro, who plays lead and writes most of the music is a guitar genius. Capable of shredding with the best of them, he saves the blistering solos for key moments, making them even better.
Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is one of those albums that doesn't come around very often. The stars shine, the planets align, and what you get is a true masterpiece.
i love this MCR album on my ipod but i really prefer vinyl generally. i was really excited when i saw that there was finally a vinyl release but when i put the record on i was really disappointed how hissy it sounds. listening to a great vinyl pressing always reminds me that kids growing up with mp3s (and to some extent cds) really missed out on the medium that is most likely to create a fulfilling, dynamic and memorable listening experience. the band&record company really should have spent the money on a 180 gram black vinyl pressing instead of flashy gimmicks like a stencil. maybe if we are lucky they will press it again in a few years with the normal artwork and a record that sounds as good as the content of the album. despite how much i love this album i ended up selling it used and went back to listening to the mp3s. I seriously believe this is the best album (especially MCR album) I have ever heard. Yes I am one of those punk kids who dies their hair and wears black, but I was doing all of that long, long before I heard any of MCR's music. I believe their music is really inspirational and sung well. I also do like groups like the Sex Pistols, but I think MCR is way better. Fast shipping. I received the CD a couple of days before the date marked. The CD was in good condition, there were some minor scratches, but the CD played perfectly. The case was not cracked or broken. Everything was in a good condition. Japanese edition includes one bonus track. Warner. 2009. Rerations < Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge >

customer 's review (Fantastic movie.)
(MATTHEW QUIGLEY IS A COWBOY HERO, AND CORA'S ROY!)
(A Memorable Western, Eh Mate?)
(Quigley Down Under)
(Quigley Down Under) This is Tom Selleck at his sharpshooting best. If you like westerns, you will love this movie. Allen Rickman plays a really good bad guy in this. I just can't say enough good about tihs movie. This is my favorite Tom Selleck movie! I just loved this movie so much! Tom Selleck (Matthew Quigley) is my handsome cowboy hero! Matthew Quigley travels from America to Austrialia to work on the Marston Ranch to hunt and kill wild, dangerous dogs(dingos). At least that is what he thought that he was hired for, but Marston (the ranch owner) had other plans! This is a very good outstanding western, with great shooting, and fight scenes!
Matthew also helps save, a very pretty american woman, named Cora, from being taken by Marston's men to be used as a[..]! Cora pretends that she is crazy so that the men will leave her alone, but she is quite taken with Matthew, but she insists his name is Roy! So Matthew for a while, thinks Cora is crazy too!
After Matthew finds out that Marston wants him to kill the native Aborigne people, instead of wild dogs, Matthew lets Marston know how he feels about it! Matthew says "NO" in a very special way! Then Matthew gets into big trouble, with all the odds against him, and Cora tries to defend Matthew from Marston's men. Beaten Matthew and Cora ,are taken to the desert, and left to die, by Marston orders!
But Marston underestimates Matthew! Matthew fights back, and then the Aborigne people, help save Matthew and Cora's life! Then Matthew and Cora fall in love! My favorite scene in the movie is where Cora is standing on the porch watching Matthew ride away! Awesome! I highly recommend this movie! This is a bit a twist: a western in which the setting is Australia, not the United States. Yet, the film features two American characters, played by Tom Selleck and Laura San Giacomo. It's a simple, well-done revenge story with a nice slow-developing romance as the subplot. Meanhile, Alan Rickman, who was good at this sort of thing, plays the hated, despicable villain.
The movie is appealing because it has a good mixture of action (and that is mixed, too, not just the same kind of fistfights or gun battles), romance, nice scenery and a little comedy thrown in.
Warning: this a rough film in parts with a couple of harrowing scenes, such as people being pushed off cliffs, Selleck brutally beaten several times and wild vicious dingoes threatening San Giacamo and a little baby, but the action never goes on too long.
All in all, I found it one of the more memorable westerns I've watched. If for nothing else, the awesome sound of Selleck's Sharp Calibre .44 rifle makes this film hard to forget.
Quigley Down Under is a story with love and conflict - the human story. Hard times are made easier with humor. Tom Selleck is The Cowboy. Alan Rickman as always, gives an excellent performance. Australia is a beautiful co star. Quigley is one of Tom Seleck's best movies. He is a great actor. I recommand this movie to be in everyones home theater library. Tom Selleck plays Matthew Quigley, the cowboy hero in this traditional Western, set very untraditionally in Australia. After some macho silliness in the opening minutes, the story settles into a surprisingly evocative tale of Quigley, a sharpshooter who had come to the country to work for a land baron (Alan Rickman) and who is on the mend after a brutal attack. In the company of a woman (Laura San Giacomo) abused by that same baron, Quigley gets his strength and his shooting skills back while healing in the midst of aboriginal people as well as some stunning Australian settings. Director Simon Wincer (Phar Lap) brings a lot of integrity to this rare horse opera from contemporary Hollywood.--Tom Keogh Tom Selleck gives the boldest performance of his career in this "new style, revisionist western with the panoramic scope of a movie epic" (Los Angeles Times). Fierce gunfights, forbidding landscapes, breakneck chasesall hallmarks of the classic westernare reinvented in this hard-pounding actioner that "revitalizes the genre" and comes out "a sure winner" (The Hollywood Reporter). Arriving in Australia with nothing more than a saddle and his prized six-foot Sharps rifle, American sharpshooter Matthew Quigley thinks he's been hired to kill off wild dogs. But when herealizes, instead, that his mission is murderto "eliminate" the Aborigines from a wealthy cattlebaron's landQuigley refuses and quickly turns from hunter to hunted. Forced to wage a savage waragainst his former employer, Quigley proves that no one gets the best of a steely-eyed American gunfighterno one, that is, except the mysterious beauty (Laura San Giacomo, sex, lies, and videotape) who rides by his side and captures his heart. customer 's review (Fantastic movie.)
I recommand this movie to be in everyones home theater library. customer 's review (An Outstanding Mini-Series Whittled Down To A Couple Hours)
(Great Movie for WWI Buffs)
(Interesting Aussie Soaper...) First off, the American VHS release, listed here, has been dramatically edited from it's original six plus hours to down around two. This is very unfortunate. While the cut down version in itself is not a bad movie, the uncut series is nothing short of outstanding. The acting and production values are top notch ( Paul Hogan is fantastic, as are Andrew Clarke and Jon Blake ). World War 1 buffs will be very pleased at the dedication to authenticity in the series. In fact to me the series is almost on par with Spielberg's Band of Brothers. At any rate, while I can only give the American VHS release 3 stars due to it's editing, the uncut mini-series is definately a 5 star in my book. The uncut 3 disc DVD ( Region 4 ) is often available on EBAY. While it cannot be watched on an American DVD player, it can be viewed on a laptop or PC with a DVD drive. This is one of the best WWI movies to be made in a long time. I highly reccommend it. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that it isn't edited very good. The orginal version is six hours long and they crammed it into two. There are scenes that are out of place and you can easily tell this by looking at the character's ranks. There is also hardly any transition between Gallipoli and France. Thats what happens when you condense a movie. Both of these are minor and maybe I am being nit picky. I have yet to see the full six hour version. I just recently ordered it. Once I view it I may edit this review. This is an interesting chronicle of the ANZACs, the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. This made-for-Aussie-TV production is aimed squarely at the Australian audience, who still revere the memory of the ANZACs, the troops who suffered horrendous losses at Gallipoli in WWI. The heroism of the ANZACs became legendary. In fact, they fought so bravely and with such determination that the Turkish enemy erected a monument to them. While it is true that the film (culled from a five-part mini-series), is not riveting entertainment compared to something like"Centennial"or"War and Rememberance", it does outline the feelings, views, and politics of the day faced by the ANZAC forces. The Australian and New Zealand viewpoints of the Great War are rarely on display, and here we have all of the various sentiments played out before us. The overall feeling (still is tangible today), is that the incompetence and arrogance of British officers, under whom the ANZAC force operated, were directly responsible for the waste of lives in pointless charges against the heavily-entrenched Turkish forces. The mini-series is positively anti-colonial in regards to the portrayal of the British as uncaring, and more interested in saving British lives than that of the Aussies or New Zealanders. Paul Hogan will most likely be the only familliar face for American viewers. I would recommend the Mel Gibson film"Gallipoli"for those looking for a familliar cast and a relatively big budget look. That film also has more weight to it, and is more stylized. While"ANZACs"does come off as a bit like"light drama", or perhaps almost a glorified soap opera, if someone is interested in the topic of WWI, and the Australian and New Zealand participation in particular, the mini-series is worth a viewing. For scholars studying the events in this theater of the war,"ANZACs"is a must see to examine both the attitudes of the day, and at the time the mini-series was made. Rerations < Anzacs [VHS] >

(The Number ONE Framing Hammer: Dalluge.) This is a whopping monster of a club; dimensionally quite a bit longer and beefier than either my 14 oz. Stiletto or 22 oz. steel framer. I really like how the magnet for one-handed nail sets is closer to the face than my Stiletto. It lowers the percentage of nail 'flip-outs'. Having the claw so long makes carrying beams and headers, leveraging walls, etc. fairly easy, but pulling nails is harder than the more curved, shorter Stiletto. The 19" handle is wonderful when driving sinkers through the plates for a stud wall, and reaching high above the head, but becomes almost a liability in tight spaces. Also, it is rounder in diameter more than I prefer, which when coupled with the center of balance being slightly off due to the long claw, raises the occurrence of 'handle roll'.
In summary:
Pros: -large size -long claw -big face -long handle -still lighter than a steel hammer - packs a punch
Cons: -large size -long claw -big face -long handle -harder to use in tight corners -not as handy as a 14 oz.
All in all, I use this Dalluge when I have the room to swing, then switch to a Stiletto when space confines. Still worth the $57 I paid!
Oh yeah, almost forgot. Do not hit your thumb with this hammer! :-) Dalluge is pronounced "Duh, Loo-Gee" .
I bought the Dalluge hammer with 16 ounce titanium head and 19 inch curved(axe) hickory handle. The Dalluge hammer was $120.00 + shipping wen I bought it. The head of the Dalluge 16oz is larger than other titanium hammer heads. Its sleek, has long sharp claws, and the handle will fit any hand. Personally I liked a slightly thicker handle than the Dalluge handle, but thats personal taste, so I think the point is moot. I sealed my handle with a few coats of Varathane® Spray Polyurethane, because I am in the rain allot, so you may want to do this and also seal the top of the handle in the eye of the head. The Dalluge Head is a bit larger and may make it difficult to get a nail into a tight spot, Stiletto hammers have small heads and this is less than a problem for them. This point is something to consider, but I think it makes for a week point for a negative opinion(its not that important). Using this hammer, its like this hammer puts the nails in for you. It flies like a dream, and hits like a pneumatic piston. The head is soo Beefy that if you miss - it scares the nail in...
I have used a Vaughan Steel 23oz for years before finding the awesome qualities of Titanium. Before switching to a Dalluge Titanium I have used: Dead-On Wood Handle, The heads come loose and the claws are too thick to split plates. Stiletto Wood handle, If you can find one get an "Older" Stiletto because the nail sets on the old style heads have more clearance for the head of the nail to set(stick a 16D on a bran new stiletto hammers nail set and you will see that the nail cannot fully seat down, nothing a quick pas with a grinder would not fix though), also there is more meat on the claws of the older style, and the older style handles are beefier. Stiletto Titanium handle, A good hammer but hickory absorbs more shock than a I-Beam of Titanium, In a tight spot you cannot use this hammer to hit a nail on the side of the head, and the new ones with a side nail puller don't work as well as they would like you to think they do. Estwing Steel handle, If this hammer could say one word it would be TWANGG! because thats what my arm and wrist feels. If there was a top Ten(10) list of great framing hammers and Dalluge was #1, a close second would be the: The Vaughan Ti-Tech 16oz Axe Handle Hammer Framing Titanium Wood Handle Hammer This one is a good trade off instead of the Dalluge for one reason. It has a Steel cap face, on a Titanium head, so you don't have to be as care full with what you are striking. You could beet the hell out of anything you want, and thats something you cant and should not do with a Titanium face headed hammer.
Milled vs un-Milled: The milled face of a Titanium hammer head will smush down over time, and will do so faster than a steal headed hammer... Its not a big deal, here is why. Every framer/carpenter should be able to pound nails just fine with a smooth faced hammer, if you cannot and you buy a Titanium hammer with milled face to make up for you're inept ability. You now have until the milled face smooths out to get good at it. All hammers do this, I suggest that wen buying a Titanium hammer you buy a "Smooth Face". Wen a Milled Face hammer smooths out it can create a concave head face, because as the milled spikes get smushed down they push out and fill in the lines that have been milled to create the head grip. This can lead to a problem, wen nailing and hitting the hammer face flat, the nail head its self dose not sink flat to the board because of the deformed hammer head. The Dalluge hammers dont have this problem hardly at all, for there hammer heads are slightly rounded or convex and the milling is very shallow (Siletto hammer heads are nearly flat and suffer from this problem more than others).
DO-NOT-EVER: hit concrete with a Titanium hammer, hit anything with the claw harder that wood(that means do not hit nails with the claw ether), try to grind the face with a power grinder(you CAN use a hand file if you wish), try to take nails out the wrong way(if you don't know the right way you Shouldn't be using a hammer), hit a nail with the edge of a head(it WILL chip), hit another hammer face such as a steel hammer(you're Titanium hammer will deform), leave it in the rain/sun(the handle will loosen but you can put another wedge in the top), put a nail in the handle to fix a wobbling handle(use a wedge, if you use a nail you are not smart), lend it out to a friend or co-worker.
Buy a Dalluge and you will get noticed. A co-worker liked mine so much he bought it from me after use-ing it for only 10 minutes! . He was using a heavy steel club made by Kobalt. He was a Big Strong Man and swung his Kobalt Club like an oger. After getting my Dalluge, his old hammer sat in the back of his Ram Truck and rotted away. Kobalt is just a cheap line of tools made by another manufacturer. I always have my used Stiletto hammer in my box as a back up so I used that to get buy, until I bought another Dalluge. Wen I bought my second Dalluge, I opted for the 14oz with Axe handle and found that it actually worked better for me. If you are a Big Strong Man, don't fool around, get the 16oz with Axe handle. Get the Axe handle, it balances the strike better than a straight handle.
The Number ONE Framing Hammer: Dalluge. Remember: This Dalluge hammer is the best hammer you will ever buy for framing, so do not ever let any one els put there Neandertal hands on you're Dalluge Framing Hammer Handle. (if they do there is always the chop saw...) * Serrated face with nailoc magnetic nail holder * 19" curved hickory handle * 16 oz Rerations < Vaughan 07165 16-Ounce Dalluge Titanium Hammer, 19-Inch Curved Hickory Handle >

(My 2 cents worth...)
(The Three Lives of Thomasina)
(Love Hayley but caution to parents on disturbing content)
(3 lives of Thomasina) Product came on time and excellent condition. I love this movie and never knew it was available on DVD 'til now. What a sweet movie! This movie was one I watched many times as a child. It is still as exciting and moving as I remembered it to be. This is one of my favorite movies from childhood. It's told by the cat, Thomasina. There are some sad moments but the ending is happy. Nothing scary. It's definitely a classic in my book! I saw this movie when it came out in 64. I was eight at the time. I've always adored Hayley Mills in her movies and I love cats... especially the orange tabby's which were always my favorite. I had one just like Thomasina at the time and always have throughout my life. I try to collect as many of Hayley's movies as I can... except this one.
With that said, the beginning of this movie really upset me as a child and still upsets me to this day when something reminds me of it. My parents and I were caught off guard. We did not expect to see something like this on a Disney film. As much as I have always adored Hayley and cats, I have never been able to watch this movie a second time.
I simply could not endure watching this cat being ordered to be put to sleep by the adults at the beginning of this movie as if it was a casually disposable product instead of a living creature and beloved pet of the child. They not only order the cat to be put to sleep, they go through the actual process of putting the cat down and treating it as discarded trash. This affected me deeply at the age of 8 and still bothers me to this day when I think about this movie. The fact that the cat recovered from the botched job didn't make the horrific scene any more palatable.
It didn't matter to me whether everything came out ok in the end or not. I just couldn't go through that ordeal again. Nor did I find any pleasure in the other mishaps the cat character was subjected to in the storyline. As a child and an adult I found this movie to be very disturbing.
I was never affected by any other movie as a child. I was not a sensitive child or adult. I was raised watching horror and space movies since I was 3. I was a fearless child and a fearless adult. Disembodied heads on monster movies didn't bother me a bit even when I was a preschooler. So for any movie to affect me in this way, it had to be profoundly upsetting about something that meant a lot to me... and my cat had been that important to me since I had been 3.
So if you have a child who is very attached to cats as I was, I strongly caution you to think twice before showing this movie to your child.
I'm sharing this because I want parents to really think about this before allowing their children to see it. Even if your child has never been upset about any prior movie, if your child is devoted to a pet cat, I really don't recommend this movie.
In some ways, the movie "Old Yeller" is very similarly upsetting when the boy's dog has to be shot.
It may not seem like a big deal to an adult, but to a child, things like this can be horrific and cause unnecessary distress to a child who loves their pets so devotedly. 45 years later, I still remember how much this movie bothered me. You can choose to disregard my cautions if you like, but if you knew what a strong child I was and even stronger as an adult and retired engineering executive... you might think twice about this. If this movie can have such a profound effect on someone who has been fearless their entire life... think of how it might affect a sensitive child. You might never know about it. This is the first time in 45 years I have mentioned it to anyone. It's just my personal opinion but I thought someone should mention this issue.
This is a fantastic movie I remember from my childhood. Movie arrived in excellent conditione and will be watched many times over Movie DVD A beloved tabby cat becomes the catalyst for healing and hope between a young girl and her widowed father in Disney's 1964 classic, based on the enchanting fable by Paul Gallico. Set in the Scottish highlands in 1912, the story focuses on Andrew MacDhui (Patrick McGoohan) a veterinarian who, after the death of his wife, has closed his heart to goodness and empathy-- toward his animal patients and his only child. Left essentially an orphan, Mary (Karen Dotrice) finds love from her cat, Thomasina, until a tragedy injures the cat and her father orders it to be killed. A tenderhearted maiden (Susan Hampshire) finds Thomasina, detects a heartbeat, and nurses the feline back to health. Her healing powers eventually move beyond the animal kingdom into the lives of MacDhui and Mary. The stellar cast includes standout performances by Dotrice and Matthew Garber (who plays Mary's loyal chum)--better known as the duo, Jane and Michael Banks, inMary Poppins. Best watched with kids and Kleenex. (Ages 5 and older)--Lynn Gibson Rerations < The Three Lives of Thomasina >

(Pretty funny.....) I bought this for my daughter a month ago. She is now 10 months. She loves puppets so I though this would be a good fit. She watches this video intently and loves it. I find it entertaining. I've seen it at least 2 dozen times. I like Benny, the surly, angry rabbit who is the bellhop. He keeps it entertaining for adults with his sarcastic quips. Highly recommended if your kids like puppets. It will keep them entertained while learning about numbers. This is a cute video with some catchy tunes ("one, two three, count with me, we'll count everything around us that we do and hear and see!"). It's not old enough to appeal to parents like me who like Sesame Street nostalgia and want to introduce their kids to the genius of Jim Henson. (Ernie, in particular, is without his characteristic mischief.) But, it's not new enough to be instantly recognizable to the kids of today. I'll put this video on without complaint when my daughter asks for it (she does like it) but it's not one of the first ones I reach for. I like the Count's "Count It Higher" much better. i got this video several moths ago from a local store and my daughter (2 1/2) loves it! it has helped her with her numbers and she even sings along with all the songs now. it's really cute! my 7 month old seems to enjoy it too :) it simi-ly kept my nephew entertained which is a very hard thing to do he doesnt like to just sit there and do nothing so i think its ok for little kids! This is a pretty entertaining video as far as the Sesame Videos go. I don't mind watching this one with my son. Good songs and enough action to keep him entertained. Movie DVD Join Ernie at The Furry Arms Hotel for a musical lesson in just how useful counting can be. When Ernie finds and returns a misplaced key, he uses his knowledge of numbers to return the key to the correct guest. As Ernie begins to learn about the hotel business, he finds many common situations in which counting is essential. Throughout the 30-minute video, Ernie and his friends help children learn to count from 1 to 20 with such songs as the jazzy "That's How the Numbers Go," an original version of theChorus Lineshow tune "One," and "Rap Song #11." FavoriteSesame Streetcharacters Elmo and The Count are joined by new characters including Ding the Dinger, a furry fellow with a bell on his head, and Benny, the bellboy that responds to Ding the Dinger's dings. Children as young as 18 months will bounce happily along with the catchy tunes and 2-year-olds will be inspired to count aloud with Ernie. Kids up to age 5 will hone their counting skills and laugh at the increasingly frustrated Benny as he delivers everything from 1 bucket of ice to 15 stampeding elephants! If you're looking for a fun video that teaches counting skills, here it is.--Tami Horiuchi Rerations < Sesame Street - 123 Count With Me >

(Great movie!) Children love Thomas the Tank Engine. They love to watch it over and over, and I have to say, even for grownups, the first time can be entertaining! I like the new setting in the mountains for this "alternate" "indie" :-) railroad for the narrow gauge engines! it's fun and well made altough my toddler misses more appearances of the traditional engines. This is a great DVD. My son has many Thomas DVD's and this one is his favorite. He watches it over and over again. There are a lot of different engines in it so it holds his interest. (Paco Rabanne) Paco was good before stuff like Aqua by Armani came out. Now Paco has a stinky smell..ewww..I dont know one woman who likes PACO anymore. Brings back memories from trip to Europe after college 25 years ago. It was hot, I stunk. Purchased Paco Rabanne in France. Nice to smell great. Purchased for the first time since, and works like I remember it did. Great value, and you will smell great. This is my favourite parfum ever. It is subtle, elegant, and classic. I use it every day. In the last week I have been working for more than 16 hours a day. When I arrive back home, I wash my face with cold water, and I am always impressed that I can smell myself the nice and refreshing flavour of Paco Rabanne. (Kids love it) Even though the picture of the product shows the little Recaldent logo, the gum I have received is in fact the old "recipe" and does not contain it. Newer packages don't have the Recaldent logo on the front anymore, but do list it as an ingredient on the back (as "calcium casein peptone calcium phosphate"). The box of 12 packages I have received was the older stuff, with none of that.
If you're specifically looking for Trident White with Recaldent... Be warned ! :) I bought this for my kids. I buy a pack for me and I never get a piece. I have to buy a case of them, so that I can get a piece for myself. Good sugarless gum. Holds up to the heat of my vehicle. Stick gum usually gets very hot and soft. (Too good to get often)
(Delicious)
(Ingredient list has changed :()
(Mango&Strawberry the BEST) I love eating strawberry liquorice, laces, and twizzlers. When I happened to find this liquorice I was very surprised by the soft and delicious flavor. There was another brand that I bought the same day and when I tried it minutes after Darrell Lea's, I had to spit it out! If you can find this liquorice, try it... you won't be disappointed! I will never go back to twizzlers. Very soft, very tasty. My only problem is it is too easy to eat them! Once a bag is open it doesn't last long, which isn't so great since there's several servings per bag. Being a big fan of the australian type licorice, I decided to give this a try. This licorice is awesome. It is extremely soft. It has a great flavor. The packages are the perfect size to break open while sitting around with a couple friends. Just an FYI for those of us with food allergies who have to read labels very carefully.
Here is what is listed on the website. Wheat Syrup, Raw Sugar, Wheat Flour, Treacle, Modified Food Starch, Palm Oil, Artificial Strawberry Flavor, Citric Acid, Artificial Color (Red Number 40), Soybean Monoglycerides As An Emulsifier, Salt, Licorice Extract.
Here is the _actual_ ingredient list from the liquorice package: Raw Sugar, Wheat Glucose Syrup, Wheat Flour, Water, Cane Sugar, Modified Food Starch, Palm Oil, Citric Acid, Natural Flavor, Black Carrot Extract, Mono-&diglycerides, Salt, Liquorice Extract, Sodium Bicarbonate.
"Natural Flavor" tends to be either milk or corn based--my daughter has sensitivities to both, so we try to avoid "natural flavor". The original list had only artificial flavorings, which she does all right with.
I'm sure it tastes just as good as every one sounds (I can't try it myself, since I have a cane sugar intolerance), but I'm very disappointed that what I bought is not what I thought I was getting. :(
I tried all three flavors while I was in the Keys (FL), they were all YUMMY! My fav was the Mango (Probably because I've never had Mango licorice before), but strawberry&green apple were also very Yummy. Great Stocking stuffer or a cheer up gift! Sold as 8 each. 7 oz. bag. Gourmet style liquorice. Rich, chewy and delicious. Bag can hang or stand . Manufacturer number: 0751. SKU #: 9124710. Country of origin: Australia. Distributed by . customer 's review (Great Service)
(Great quality and stretch) Product were what I expected. Arrived within promised time. Definately shop with them again! These are thin stretchy satin gloves that are well-cut for little fingers. The sizing seems true to age given the wide rage of sizes little children come in. Great value as they seem to be durable and well-made.
I ordered the size 4-7 for both my (petite) 5 year old and (average) 2.5 and they fit the 4 year old well (there is some room for growth but the fingers are not obviously too long) but they are too large for my 2.5 year old. Since they do have stretch to them, I am going to order two more sets of gloves for both girls in the 0-3 size hoping that they will fit just a little more snug on both girls as I am using these gloves for everyday 24/7 wear to break bad habits (thumb sucking and nail biting) and would like them to be able to do every day tasks in them. (I do plan to modify the glove with some smashed in hot glue on the fingertips to add grippiness to fingers).
The store So Sweet Boutique shipped these very fast using priority mail so I got them within two days after i ordered them. Full Length Gloves-up to elbow , child sizes only. Rerations < Girls Long Satin Gloves - Long Child Size Girls Formal Gloves - Bridal Flower Girl or Pageant >

customer 's review (Fun dress-up set for your future firefighters!) This was my son's "Santa gift" and he has absolutely adored it. He wears it practically everyday so it was definitely a good buy. The coat has held up very well. The top to the "fire extinguisher" comes off too easily though and is constantly getting lost. I decided to forgo putting batteries in the bullhorn since we already have a plethora of toys that make noise. It hasn't phased my son in the least, he plays with it just the same and pretends to talk through it. (The Dog is the Best)
(Good for beginners)
(Problems with Melissa&Doug Products) My 4 1/2 yr old son loves these puzzles. They are just challenging enough to keep him interested, but not so much that he gives up, which is what has happened with other puzzles. He puts them together all by himself and wants to do it over and over again. The very portable, durable box has a lid that can be used as the puzzle platform, so he could even play with it in the car. I like this toy. My baby loves to play it. She keeps herself busy for hrs. My daughter loves the dog puzzle in this box the best. She can put this one together quickly with no mistakes. She is less than three and loves all the puzzles and can neatly put it all away in the box. The one tiny thing is that she has a hard time sliding the lid closed. it must be matched up perfectly to slide closed. Awesome toy. I bought it for my 30-month-old daughter. It is her first puzzle and after 2 weeks she can assemble all the pieces correctly without my help. As with all of the Melissa&Doug products, the kids like them very much, but they are not well made. The paper on the front of the puzzles often isn't glued on well&therefore rips. Also the wood and cardboard on the puzzles breaks easily. These products don't last. Perfect for quiet-time play or a rainy day, this set features four colorful animal puzzles. Sturdy wooden boxes store four 12-piece Pets themed jigsaws in separate compartments. Backs of pieces are shape-coded for easy sorting. Measurements 8" x 6" x 2.5". Rerations < Melissa&Doug Deluxe Pets in a Box Jigsaw Puzzles >

customer 's review (Slinky)
(Slinky!)
(Everyone Loves A Slinky - Recommended)
(fun toy for kids)
(Stairs) This was a gift for my sister's 15th birthday and she LOVEs it! Great sturdy product There's not much to say other then it's a slinky! What more do you expect? I bought this as a silly office toy for my coworker and everyone that stops by our cubes always plays around with it. It's a fun little diversion and great for some silliness to watch it go down stairs. The "Original Slinky" is one of the calssic toys I grew up with and made sure that my kids got to experiance as well.
This is the metal version that works the best for walking down stairs (alone or in pairs :-) and makes the "Slinkity" sound.
The only real down side is that it will, sooner or later, get tangled up and will have to be thrown away... most likely to be replaced next Christmas (or insert gift giving day of your choice).
Recommended! My 10 yr old daughter wanted a slinky for Christmas. She has enjoyed doing the "stairs thing" with it and it actually is still without kink after almost a month. I wish that I had not had to spend so much for shipping. I would not have bought the slinky if I realized what I was paying for shipping. I could have bought local. I was so excited to get this for my kids but when it arrived excitement was short-lived. I don't have large or long stairs nothing a slinky in my day would have had a problem with. This slinky was not up for the task. Two steps and done. Just some more junk I have to throw away. Everyone loves a Slinky®! This original spring toy is famous with children all over the world. It stretches, snaps back, and makes a "slinkity sound." Made in USA! Long a favorite of kids and physics instructors alike, Slinky is the consummate entertainer as it walks down the stairs or comes alive in a child's hands. Slinky originated in 1945 as part of an antivibration device developed by American naval engineer Richard James, who thought the spring might be a successful toy because of its comical walking behavior. Over half a century later, Slinky still lives.-- Joan DeClaire Rerations < Original Slinky >

Delacorte Books for Young Readers(2008-05-11)
Usually ships in 24 hours customer 's review (A sweet mix of dilemmas and encounters.)
(Culture Clash) Ana Shen's biracial family - a Chinese-American father and an Afro-American mother - brings two grandparents in town at the same time - which results in a host of new problems and a confusing blend of cultures for Ana. How best can she honor both her very different grandparents - at a meal during which each expects something different? Add the usual conflicts over friendships and coming of age and you have a sweet mix of dilemmas and encounters. Hot, Sour, Salty, Sweet by Sherri L. Smith takes place over the course of one day, starting at a girl's eighth grade graduation. Ana's entire family and both sets of grandparents come to her graduation ceremony, which is literally disastrous: a water pipe breaks, dousing the graduates just as Ana was beginning her salutatorian speech. After graduation, at the nudging of her best friend, she manages to invite her crush Jamie over for dinner.
It sounds simple enough, but it's not. Her grandparents don't really get along. Ana's mom is African-American and her dad is Chinese-American. Ana, her parents, and her bouncy little brother are happy and well, but the grands always experience a cultural clash when they are in the same room. The grandmothers frequently try to one-up each other with gifts and stories. Now they'll try to do the same as they race to prepare the perfect dishes for Ana's impromptu graduation dinner.
As if it weren't trouble enough having all of the grandparents in the kitchen cooking up completely different foods, some unexpected guests arrive, further complicating things. When Ana steps out of the kitchen and looks around the dinner table, she's bound to be surprised. Ultimately, her family's different cultures and tastes blend together and compliment each other, and the ending, like the meal, is satisfying for Ana.
A quick G-rated read for middle school students that encourages the blending and appreciation of different cultures. Maybe a little predictable, but fairly innocuous.
I also recommend Smith's previous releases, Sparrow and Lucy the Giant, to teens. Ana Shen has what her social studies teacher calls a“marvelously biracial, multicultural family” but what Ana simply calls a Chinese American father and an African American mother. And on eighth-grade graduation day, that’s a recipe for disaster. Both sets of grandparents are in town to celebrate, and Ana’s best friend has convinced her to invite Jamie Tabata–the cutest boy in school–for a home-cooked meal. Now Ana and her family have four hours to prepare their favorite dishes for dinner, and Grandma White and Nai Nai can’t agree on anything. Ana is tired of feeling caught between her grandparents and wishes she knew whose side she was supposed to be on. But when they all sit down for their hot, sour, salty, and sweet meal, Ana comes to understand how each of these different flavors, like family, fit perfectly together.

(Yummy, Yum, Yum...watch out for this one.)
(Buy this book now!)
(Gooey Good) This is a fabulous book with some delish recipes that I can hardly wait to try. My only complaint is that in a book such as this where the desserts have such visual appeal, there are only a handful of photos of the desserts. It would have been perfect had there been a picture to accompany each recipe. This is a great group of recipes and the service from the vendor was wonderful. The quality of the book was perfect. This scrumptious little cookbook sat patiently on my shelf for the past 6 months or so (could it be even longer?), but it has finally had its turn in my kitchen and it was worth the wait. I fell in love with this cookbook for its whimsical style (title, colors, font, etc), and even bought one as a gift before trying any recipes. But try it I have and having shown its potential, this is a book I will be dipping into whenever my churros sweet tooth hits (which is often).
A little holiday break in my hectic schedule allowed me to try three recipes this week: churros and thick hot chocolate, double crumb apple pie, and sticky pear gingerbread. While the cooking times seemed off on the apple pie (mine was done a bit earlier) and the gingerbread (mine wasn't quite all the way done even past the time listed), all the flavors were dynamite and I am apt to assume the inadequate cooking times had more to do with my inaccurate timing, than the recipes (I'm not known for being overly conscious of timing anyway). I had special fun with the churros and chocolate and we served them up for xmas eve dessert to the family-- a very large platter of them all gone and everyone licking their cinnamon sugar coated lips! There are many more recipes already tagged (grown-up smores anyone?) and I will probably be buying more copies for fellow sweet loving bakers soon. Oh my goodness me, where do I start? If you can get past the gorgeous photo and title on the front page, you will continue to be amazed! Every recipe I've tried from this book has turned out beautifully, my only problem is, there are simply not enough hours in the day or parties to attend for me to try every recipe! Amazing photographs, cute stories behind each recipe, beautiful page layouts...it's simply THE prettiest baking book in my collection. Many of the recipes are a little fiddly and contain lots of ingredients but don't let that put you off, the results will all be worth it. Good service. Book has many yummie recipes. I love chocolate and anything gooey. Haven't tried them yet but pictures are great and instructions are clear. (Great Book and Price)
(Helpful and a good read!)
(Great book)
(An Absolute Must For Any Boater) This is the perfect book for a boating newbie. It is formatted great, covering a good range of topics as they relate to piloting your vessel. The illustrations and writing really do a good job of getting the concepts across. Along with Chapman's Seamanship, it's a must-have in any boater's library. Book is a treasure trove of information for new and experienced boaters. It is also for the foundation for two boater education classes. Buying the book here allowed me to read about the material prior to taking the USCGA training class. This improved my learning during class, and it lowered the cost of my class since I already had the book. Once again R. Sweet has put together an excellent and helpful book. I found it to be interesting and easy to read. I highly recomend it. This book covers a lot of material which is essential for a new boat owner also a good review for old timer. Easy reading whit good photo illustraion. I found it very helpful for a power boat owner. You really need to need most everything that is covered in this book. This review refers to "Boating/Skills and Seamanship"(U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary)......
If you have ever thought of or plan to buy a boat or step foot on a boat or any kind of watercraft this book is an absolute must. It would also be highly advisable to take the classes the Coast Guard auxiliary offers (usually for free) in conjunction with this manual.
Mostly geared toward new boaters, this book together with the classes will teach you everything you could possibly need to know to get started. It is even a good refresher for the experienced hand. Among the very important information gained are basic "rules of the road", who has the right of way on the water, what do all the markers, different colored lights, and signs mean and what are your responsibilities, and legal concerns.
If your thinking of buying a boat, there is a whole chapter on which may be best for you and another on how to safely trailer your boat and place it in the water. Many safety and emergency situation issues are discussed, you'll learn proper use of the radio and other equipment. Boating terminology, knot tying, piloting, charting a course(this was my favorite chapter) and maintenance are thoroughly gone over.
The coast guard classes will also guide you through each chapter and will present a test at the end of each. At the end of the course an official coast guard certificate in skills and seamanship is yours. These classes are great for the whole family or anyone just needing this knowledge. You can probably find the nearest classes to you in the phone book or through your local community center. There are also extended classes for those wanting to further their boating education(i.e. Learning to sail). The beginning classes are in a classroom and not on the water. If you have already signed up for these classes, it's possible this book may be purchased at your first meeting.
The book is easy to understand and spells out every detail clearly and has critical information that everyone who plans on being on the water should know. A Great keeper for fututre reference as well.

(Good stroller, storage little difficult)
(It's great for the price) I really wanted an orange stroller- and this is an orange stroller (not red as described) so if you like orange, it is! This stroller has everything I need and it was easy to put together, despite the unusually vague instructions. No problems with alignment. I got this model because I thought the hand brake would be helpful...I was going to use it roller blading but the instructions warn against it. So if I don't actually roller blade with the stroller, I see no point to the hand brake and wish I had gotten a model with a revolving front wheel, because it truly takes some getting used to tilting the stroller on it's back wheels to turn it. Stroller is very lightweight and great for jogging on pavement; gives nice smooth run. Have yet to take offroad. Folding/storage is more cumbersome than with some other strollers I've used due to taking front wheel on/off. The stroller is great for jogging, it goes smooth, it's light as it has an aluminum frame. The wheels are great for both smooth paved surfaces or for off-road terrain. Although it is hard to detail-tune it, because it does not go totally straight (maybe half a degree to the right, and after adjusting it, maybe half a degree to the left), but you can manage it. Compared to the high-cost jogging strollers, it is just great. Of course the front wheel does not turn, but that's the design! it is for jogging! not for going shopping through narrow aisles. The break needs to be adjusted by a bike expert, the security strap is great. It does not have a 'one-hand-fold' thing, but it has a practical and secure way to do it. Easy to assemble. Busy parents can stay in shape and bring the little one along. This indoor/outdoor jogger is at home on the sidewalk, in the park and even in the mall. Perfect for short runs or long walks. Get out and exercise without hesitation.
Features: - 16 wheels
- Lightweight aluminum frame folds quickly and easily for compact storage
- Convenient parent console, spacious behind seat and under seat storage provide plenty of cargo room
- Generous canopy with a fold-down visor protects little ones from the sun
- Airy, vented cabin and reclining seat option ensures an ultra-comfortable ride
- Rear suspension and 5-point harness offer a safe and secure ride
- Recommended age of 6 months old

customer 's review (My favorite camping meal) This is my favorite freeze dried camping meal, and I've tried quite a lot of the vegetarian flavors and brands. The pasta primavera is very flavorful and has a great creamy texture. The pasta noodles cook well and get soft (unlike brands where the pasta never cooks no matter how long it sits in the bag). There isn't tons of fat or cheese, which is surprising given how creamy the sauce is. There are many vegetables in the primavera making it healthier than some other meals, and one of the main ingredients is zucchini. The meal is very filling and amply feeds two people. When camping I like to pour it ontop of instant rice, which also makes the meal stretch well between two people if you are really hungry. In comparison to all the other vegetarian freeze dried meals I have eaten, the mountain house pasta primavera is the best tasting by far. For over 25 years, Mountain House has been the industry leader and innovator in freeze-drying research and technology. They pioneered the market for nutritious, lightweight foods. Based on storage studies conducted over many years, Mountain House Backpacking Pouch Foods have a shelf life of at least 5 years from manufacture date when stored unopened in a cool area. After 5 years, a change in flavor and appearance may be noticed. For best results, avoid prolonged storage at temperatures above 75° F (24° C) and follow package instructions for proper preparation.
