This is a well done variation on the Cinderella tale with the Muppets and live actors. The fairygodperson is a real kick. My kids and I both enjoyed this.
This movie was my daughter's favorite when she was younger -- I had to play it over and over again. Now my son asks for it constantly. The movie holds up -- my daughter will still watch it with her brother and not complain. Luckily, the tunes are catchy and it has a great cast. You can't go wrong with Sesame Street.
This is an excellent movie for children and adults. Great script and puppets. Nancy Burger
This is a nice blending of humans with the Sesame Street characters with Keri Russell as the princess and French Stewart acting as Cinderelmo's footman. It lasts about 50 minutes and has some nice songs to delight the children. Our 3-year-old grandchild loves Elmo and enjoyed this little romp.
This is the most precious Elmo we have purchased. It is a twist on the original Cinderella story with great music. Good luck getting it out of your head. My 2 1/2 year old son requests it at least twice per day. Enjoy!

Our favorite little red monster is the star of this delightful film that playfully skews the story of Cinderella. Originally aired on Fox television in 1999, the feature is a playful mix of human actors andSesame Streetcharacters that is an easy watch for families with 3- to 7-year-olds. Cinderelmo (he's a boy, if you didn't know) dreams of playing in a castle and meeting the princess (Keri Russell). Unfortunately his mean--but not that mean--stepmother (Kathy Najimy) wants her two other sons to go to the ball at which the princess must declare whom she wishes to marry.

The film is certainly focused on the youngsters (as opposed to the slightly older audience of the Muppet films), but there are plenty of puns and wry humor for adults to enjoy. The handful of songs are quite pleasant, as is the length (50 minutes). Oliver Platt (as a new "fairy godperson") and French Stewart (as Cinderelmo's dog-turned-footman) enjoy their roles with relish. Appearing in various small roles are plenty of theSesame Streetgang, including Grover, Kermit, Cookie Monster, Bert, and Ernie. Great fun.--Doug Thomas

I haven't enjoyed this one very much. As a matter of fact, I passed it on. Seemed lackluster somehow.
A nice sampler. I bought it primarily for "Together, Forever" from Gypsy, though its nice to have the Broadway version of "Send in the Clowns (I believe by Glynis Johns). But it is just a sampler, and fans of Broadway music are probably better served buying the full original cast recordings.
I just wanted to confirm what the first reviewer had to say about this CD. To hear Ethyl Merman, Mary Martin, Andrea McCardle etc. singing their trademark songs brought a lot of memories from the mid-centry musical theater back again. The last song by Glynis Johns is especially poignant.
You certainly can't beat the price!
This is a very good CD, mostly because it's the original artists. I've had some that were re-recorded by no name artists that were ghastly. This one is a really good one--including the sound quality. If I had one wish, I would wish it were longer!

When I was a teenager, I used to babysit for a boy who watched Raffi everyday. So naturally, when I had my first son (10 years ago) I had to buy it, and he loved it so much, he wore the VHS out! When I had my second son last year, I had to buy another one, but this time I wanted a DVD, and saw this 3-pack. Can't beat the price! and of course, my 1 yr old loves him too.
I LOVE RAFFI. My grandson, broke the previous DVD. My newest grandson likes him as well. And he's only 7 months old!
My son and daughter still LOVE Raffi. So do my niece and nephew, even though, they are older: they ALL know ALL of the songs.
This is a terrific combo. I wish I could have afforded to bring Raffi to my 2 Girl Scout Troops. SIGH.
Excellent songs; excellent venues; excellent getting together time.
Maybe I'll get to take the grandkids to one of his concerts. One can only hope. Meanwhile, he's here in my home. And I'm super satisfied. We are all singing, together. With Raffi. My personal fav.

I used to watch these Raffi concerts when I was a little girl. Now my son watches them and loves them just as much as I did!
I picked up one of these concerts on VHS from a second hand store. While previewing it to see if it worked, my 3 month old turned her head and was very eager to see Raffi sing. AMAZING! This version has 3 concerts - great for travel. My daughter still loves this DVD at 2. She can now sing the songs and follow the hand movements. It shows children of all ages enjoying a concert with their family.
I love this one and i am 17. My mom and me love all of them. Fun for al.l 2 and up. It awesome. I give it five.

For those who are fans of Patsy Cline, this is a good addition for a collection of her works. This is also a good companion flick to Coal Miner's Daughter as Patsy was influential in Loretta Lynn's career. Sweet Dreams does follow, to a good extent, the career of Patsy Cline, but focuses more on her personal life than her career. Still it is a good movie and, of course, the music is great.
I got a good deal for the price I would defintely buy from this person again.

She wasn't a beauty queen, but country-music star Patsy Cline's voice was a thing of wonder: full-bodied, aching and dreamy at the same time. She came by the torchy emotions in her songs honestly, as shown in this biopic directed by Karel Reisz, rising from poor surroundings, literally forcing her talent on the Nashville establishment, all the while trying to survive an abusive marriage to a drinker. Though the script by Robert Getchell is standard Hollywood biography, the movie is more than watchable, thanks to a bone-deep performance by the always astonishing Jessica Lange and the counterpoint by Ed Harris as her loving but unreliable husband. The soundtrack features a basketful of Cline's hits, which Lange convincingly lip-synchs.--Marshall Fine

Don Johnson is always five stars with me. A consumate actor, his range makes him an actor's actor. The DVD itself was flawless, and it arrived almost immediately.
This is one of Don Johnsons older movies, but is fun to watch and see him play a different character. It is a light hearted movie, and Susan Sarandon is great in this movie. Really fun to see them in these roles.
I like Don Johnson in almost everything. The movie had alot of "F" words and God**** (which I didn't like). Overall, the movie was heartfelt and at times you wanted to just scream at both Susan and Don as they went through a 'rough patch' in their marriage. The acting was good and it made you think alot about life in general. It made me want to sit my husband down to watch it (maybe one day). I wouldn't let kids watch this because it has foul language, but as an adult I did my best to ignore it. The writer's could of definately left out the foul language or used less intense foul language. If you like Don Johnson, add this to your collection!
I first saw Sweethearts Dance at its original release in 1988. I went alone, and I was lonely, because my wife and two sons were on a school trip or something. Perhaps because of this, it has stayed in my memory all these eighteen years. Sweethearts Dance was released the year before Field of Dreams, and in some ways it deserves similar status. Field of Dreams is about how easiy life can go awry. Everything is resolved through magic. Sweethearts Dance is about how easily the optimism of youth and the passion of marriage can be diluted by the routines of making a living, raising children, and managing a family. Everything is resolved through the persistence of love. Which one is more true to life? The film contains some memorable scenes, such as the turning point when Susan Sarandon's and Don Johnson's characters admit that all they want is to love each other. As Don, sitting in a tree outside the window of his own bedroom, tells his wife, "How did things get so screwed up? I miss you. I miss our children," my eyes filled with tears. Jeff Daniels, one of the best supporting actors in the business, loves Don and Susan both, and he has his own problems with love. He has found the perfect woman, but he pushes too hard and nearly loses her. The scene in which she calls him from home while he is on vacation to thank him for asking him to marry her also tugs at the heart. Jeff is able to say, "I like you," and it's enough to restore the relationship. The ending of the movie is one of the most delightful ever filmed--you'll laugh and cry at the tenderness and ridiculousness of it. Tender and ridiculous--kind of how love is sometimes. Last week I stumbled on it while looking for something else and bought it. Last night I watched it with my wife. It felt like something important had finally been finished.
C'mon, Sony. Give us some remastered widescreen love! SWEET HEARTS DANCE is a marvelous film, with one of the best seques EVER to its closing credits. Excellent performances across the board, fabulous direction from Robert Greenwald balancing such wonderfully diverse talents. Surely there's a good print intact out there somewhere. My collection PINES for a widescreen version of this fine film as much as for a camera with batteries.

(My Favorite Baby Einstein DVD for Older Babies)

I teach special education preschool and the kids are fascinated by this video. I bought a copy for my granddaughter (21 months) and she also loves it. Sort of boring for adults but it does capture the toddlers and pre-k kiddos.
This is my favorite Baby Einstein DVD hands-down! I love the variety of animals (not all of them are commonly known), environments, and the photography footage is outstanding! My daughter laughs out loud at the humor expressed by the puppets. Baby McDonald and Baby Noah are her favorites as an older baby. I have a great love for animals and I am happy to see my daughter already showing the same. I believe that exposing children to animals early on (in-person and through other venues) creates a life long appreciation and respect. You will not be disappointed with this video.
Finally, I know that some people criticize videos like this for young children, but this is a great teaching tool when used in moderation. Not to mention the break that it gives mom and dad when we need to get stuff done!
My one year old is REALLY active. This is the ONLY video that keeps her attention. She now growls however, when she sees tigers and elephants in it.
This is my favorite of the Baby Einsteins. They group animals (some familiar and some more unusual) by region. At 2, my daughter can correctly identify animals of the rainforest, savannah, polar regions, etc. Unfortunately, Disney's thirst for self-promotion results in ads for "Little Einsteins" AND a new theme park. If you are a vigilant parent and can work around these, the content is great.
I bought the Baby Einstein for my son who is 5 months old. This particular DVD says it is recommended for babies 9 months and above. However, my son has always seemed advanced so I thought I'd start him early. The DVD seems a little complicated for a baby of any age. I watched the entire thing with him. It has too many different types of scenarios going on. At one point it shows live, real people then it switches to puppets, then to cartoons, then back to animals. There is no consistency to the video or the dialogue. It seems to just be a bunch of thoughts put together in no particular order.
I believe it does have some great footage of animals on the video. However, the entire video itself does not seem to flow together. My son was very interested in the puppets and cartoon animation but not so much of the other stuff. I have heard this from other people as well.
Also, for the quality and content of the video it seems overpriced. We received the other videos in the collection for Christmas so hopefully the rest of the collection will be better than this one was.

The baby-to-toddler set gets an expedition through a variety of animal habitats across the planet in this installment of theBaby Einsteinseries. Despite the title, there is no real biblical connection to the material other than Noah's Ark toys and a few paintings (minus Noah and family). The subtitle "Animal Expedition" is far more accurate, as the 38-minute program takes the youngsters through the African savannah, rainforest, ocean, Australian Outback, and polar regions. As in its predecessors in the series, this one focuses on a few animals in each segment with repetition through toys, puppets and nature footage. I absolutely love this dvd. It is one of my most favorite Elmo's World, very cute and entertaining. My favorite Elmo's World movies are: 1) Families, Mail and Bath time 2) Food, Water and Exercise 3) Wake Up With Elmo. Check them out, they're worth your time and money.
This was a Christmas gift and she seems to enjoy it. The DVD was received in good condition and in a timely fashion.
My son only watches Elmo's World... I especially enjoy this dvd because it does a great job covering the daily routine of starting your day. Always educational.
My son loves Elmo&this DVD is one of many great learning DVDs in his collection.
It keeps my 3yr old occupied while I do my regular chores. What else can I say? If she likes it then I like it too.

We already owned this DVD and loved it so much we bought it for a friend. This is a great movie. Not only does my daughter think that, but my husband and I can watch it as well. It has lessons on friendship enbedded in it. The music is memorable. It will not drive you crazy as some kids movies do. Worth buying even if you are of the renting DVD school of thought as I am. Very cute!
This is one of the best movies I have seen for kids. It actually TEACHES something, it's adorable, no one gets killed (like most Disney movies!!!), and it has an awesome soundtrack by Carly Simon. I HIGHLY recommed it!!!!!!!!

A welcome dose of old-fashioned animation for parents and a delightful, easy-to-follow experience for kids, this is a nostalgic cartoon feature for fans of the Pooh series. Rabbit, Piglet, Tigger, Eyore, Winnie the Pooh, Kanga, and Roo, are all on hand for a lesson in how to fearlessly face new and possibly strange experiences. The plot concerns the hysterical panic that arises when the gang learns of a nearby family of dreaded heffalumps. Their subsequent excursion into Heffalump Hollow to capture the beasts is not a great success, but the littlest member of each side--Lumpy (Kyle Stanger) and Roo (Nikita Hopkins)--end up meeting and becoming friends. Mutual distrust lingers amongst the other animals however, and when Pooh and company try to capture Lumpy, his well-meaning but overprotective mom (Brenda Blethyn) charges to the rescue. The always relevant "don't judge a book by its cover" moral is conveyed with subtlety and wit, the animation style is clean and calming, and the scenery is rendered with an easy-on-the-eye pastel palette. There's an assortment of fun and lovely songs as well, including: "The Horrible, Hazardous Heffalumps," "Shoulder to Shoulder," and "Little Mister Roo" by Carly Simon. Parents may heave a nice sigh of relief to see that an animated film doesn't have to be rife with hyperkinetic action and over-the-top clowning to excite their kids' imagination.
Pooh's Heffalump Movieintroduces a lovable new character to the Hundred Acre Wood. When mysterious noises spook Pooh, Piglet, and the others, Rabbit explains that everyone will have to band together to track down the dreaded Heffalump. Well, everyone, that is, except Roo, who's too small for the task. Not surprisingly, it's Roo who makes first contact, and he quickly finds out that first impressions aren't always true. You can see the Big Messages coming from a mile off (Xenophobia is bad! Don't underestimate little kids!), and one moment of mischief curiously passes without even requiring an apology. But kids will be charmed by the Heffalump and may even connect with the empowerment/maturity themes. Among the voice cast, Jim Cummings does knockout impressions of Sterling Holloway and Paul Winchell as the voices of Pooh and Tigger, respectively, and Carly Simon's songs are at their best when she sings them herself.--David Horiuchi

Keeps my son quiet and happy and I like that they're organic. He gets them as a treat when we're at the doctor's or somewhere that I need to keep him quiet for a little while.
We received two of the Earth's Best Bars in a holiday gift bag for our toddler. In an 18 gram bar, there were about 6 grams of sugar--a full third of the bar is sugar. No wonder there are rave reviews about how much the toddlers are enjoying them!
Our kids (2 and 4) love these bars. They've been eating them since about age 1 -- bars are moist, flavorful. The bars also travel well; we always take them with us on family outings, short or long, and we know the kids will eat them.
I have two children (3 and 21 months), and they love these snack bars. If I let them they will eat a box in two day. I haven't found anything else that is as consistent a pleaser as these snack bars.

This syrup is great for EVERYTHING: waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, bbq sauce - you name it. I purchased the "Grade B" syrup for a master cleanse, but decided to try it with food as well. Now we don't bother with "Grade A" any more. This is much more flavorful.
I chose the Highland Sugarworks product because of the great price, but I keep going back because of the quality. Highly recommended.
Real maple syrup is my preference for pancakes and this did not disappoint. Good flavor complimented my whole-grain pancakes very well.
This stuff is like maple crack! I just can't get enough! Unlike regular Grade A maple syrup this had a x10 flavor boost as well as being thicker and richer! Haven't you ever wished maple syrup had the thicker consistency of the corn syrup maple flavored junk at the stores? Well this does but with a delicious maple flavor that is stronger and tastier than your grade A maple. I wish they carried grade b in the stores. Thanks amazon for carrying grade b maple syrup! I just love it. If I'm ever brave enough I may even try grade C!
Coombs B Grade was out of stock so tried this. Tasted too sweet and not mapley enough in comparison. Probably more like a Grade A dark amber. Back to Coombs or Dakin Farms who also make a great syrup.
I decide to try a pure maple syrup instead of commercial products made with High Fructose. I have diabetes type 2 and have trouble processing High Fructose since I purchased this product I am able to go back and eat pancakes and waffles. I know this will not be the case with all people that have diabetes. Love the taste and product arrived in good condition at least this one I did have a bottle of grade A syrup that did not make the journey in one piece.

The ingredients are as basic as sugar, water and starch, but the flavor is smooth, slightly soft and sticky and dreamy floral sweet. It is impossible to imagine how such perfection evolves from the list of ingredients. The Turkish Delights in this beautifully designed box are flavored with lemon or rose.

The rose flavor is especially exotic and transports you to lands of mystery and intrigue. You can quite see how Edmund from C.S. Lewis' book "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" could become enchanted with the flavor of Turkish Delights and obey the White Witch, although I think I will stop at one box this year and order another next year.

The beautiful box and the sweet delicious confections make this an excellent gift for anyone you want to spoil.

My son bought this Webkinz on Amazon for his sister's birthday. Everyone loves it, it is so adorable. The animal is the same size as other large Webkinz, about 8" tall and 9" long. Very cute!

A perfect toy! recommended by another friend, it is durable and offers enough action to keep my 3 yr old entertained for a while. It gives him a learning opportunity to test which cars will fit and work (not all "CARS" models work) and when more than 2 race, he has to "time" them on the ramp or they'll immediately crash- which is fun too! I would recommend this for anyone whose child likes cars, loud sounds, and speed, but is too young for the big kid toys.
purchased this for my grandson's birthday. he plays with it constantly and since it folds up so compactly - he can take it with him wherever he goes.
I brought it for my 3 year old grandson and we had such a blast playing with it that his Dad went out and brought the larger one for his room. It's great as a "Bring-A-long Toy". Can get a little noisy so be ready for that! Otherwise if your kid loves "Pixar Cars" they will love it!Make sure you get the "supercharged" ones they stay on the track better.
I got the racetrack for my 2 yr old son for christmas since he loves the movie cars. On christmas morning when he opened he not only started screaming in excitment he did not want to open any other gifts I had to hide the race track so he would open the rest of them. By 2 pm christmas afternoon we where on our second set of batterries and going strong. Every nite when I get home we have to play with the race track before he gets a bath.
Great toy for my 4 1/2 year old son, but it's really REALLY loud! He got it for Christmas and immediately tried all his Cars cars on the track. The smaller cars like Lizzie, the pig car, and other skinny ones like that don't work, but if you get them going right they can fly off the track through the air which proved to be hilarious.

The pedal in the middle, which is supposed to speed up cars when you press it, does nothing as far as I can tell. Of course if the kid thinks he's doing something that makes the pedal much more attractive.

THE FAMILY GUY adds to Fox TV's list of tv shows about dysfunctional families (i.e. THE SIMPSONS and MARRIED WITH CHILDREN). Creator, writer, voice actor, Seth McFarlane's only crime is that he loves pop culture, MGM Musicals, Comic Books, Saturday Morning Cartoons, etc and there's nothing wrong with that. Those added non-sequitur clips that pop up in the middle of episodes is a clear indication of that love of pop culture. This reviewer thinks that some critics lambast the show because they wish they had thought up some of the stuff he lovingly lampoons and throws in. They aren't for cheap laughs, but it is to give viewers a fond rememberence of stuff they grew up with as children giving it a warped twist. Another obvious indication is using Adam West (aka Bruce Wayne/Batman) as one of the voice actors for the show. FAMILY GUY works for this reviewer because this reviewer is in tune with the warped, yet genius mind of Seth McFarlane.
This is a great DVD...the creators of Family Guy hand picked five of their personal favorite episodes. The selections are good, although there are a few more I would have picked for this one. Good item to have if you don't want to sift through the full seasons for a good episode.
I love everything Family Guy so I can't say anything to bad about this collection...I'm not sure but I think if you already have the series in your collection you don't really need this one, but if you are just starting to collect or you want to see what Family Guy is all about, then I say this video is for you!
If your a fan of the show and a fan of Stewie, then this is a must have.
This special Family Guy DVD is five episodes hand-picked by series creator Seth MacFarlane. I am entitled to call myself Queen of Keen - I own more than 8 pairs of Keen shoes in various styles and I love everyone one of them. The Calistoga sandal is comfortable and felt fine new out of the box. The Bayou color is very pretty and the leather uppers make it a versatile casual shoe. I have ingrown nails and the toe cap really protects my feet from the occasional stub or accidental tread on my foot.
I thought at first when I saw them that they were a little pricey for a slip on sandal, but after putting them on, I realized they were worth every penny. They are wonderful to walk in, and a soothing comfort to the feet. I would recommend them to anyone who wants comfort along with a nice look.
Like it alot but order a half size bigger if you have a wide foot.
