My picky 3 year old ate 3 servings of this yogurt in one day just as it is, no fruit added. How many little ones will eat plain yogurt and enjoy it? I really liked the consistency, thick and creamy. We had mixed results with the consistency of the other flavors, but they were still yummy. We will definately be ordering more.
My wife started purchasing Greek style yogurt at the local organic market to a tune of $2.49 for a small container. Needless to say purchasing stacks upon stacks for normal consumption started to add up. So I thought I would simply purchase the maker with one of the Sweet Greek package to see how it fairs up against the local store. To our amazement, we were pleasantly surprised at how good this literally tastes. I'd even am confident enough to say that we actually liked it more than what we were purchasing at the store. Definitely recommend it...
I will just start by saying I was so pleased by what Easiyo had to offer, I went to their website and told them so. I promptly received a reply from a real person thanking me. How is that for customer service? Bottom line, this product is wonderful and so is the company behind it.

I made the sweet greek yesterday and it turned out thick and yummy! I will never go back to boiling milk and then having to reduce the temperature with a ice bath prior to making a batch of homemade yogurt.

Because everything else in their line is a five or more. I bought Greek Yogurt based on its popularity. I just haven't made any up yet. Might do that today and return with additional information. At this point, after months of using the easiyo system and eating their yogurt I have not a single negative word to say about the company or the yogurt.

My 12LB Chinese Crested Hairless will eat no other treats or dog cookie products. Picky eater?? You bet!
Our dog likes the sweet potato treats as a close 2nd to the duck sausage...and they take her a while to chew and eat, so they are good for a different item to have...
All thee of my dogs love these things, which is a pretty good endorsement as to likeability as all three are rather spoiled and rather picky. It is a good thing to throw veggies into a dogs diet but at times it is rather difficult to get them to eat (much like children, I dare say). I use these as special treats and always have some packed in my vest pocket for when we go on walks. As a side note, I had some setting on the cabinet not long ago, out of the jar when my not overly bright sister came over for one of her unannounced "inspection" visits. She popped on in her mouth and commented "yummy." Never did tell her the truth. Wonder if I could use it to house break her? The only qualms I have about these things is that they apparently made in China. I have some real fears about that.
The 2 Bichons absolutely love this! It gives them something to chew, as well as the bacon flavor that they like so much.
Since they don't eat vegetables very well, we were concerned about whether they would like them. They did. We will be reordering shortly.

I absolutely love this dvd. It is one of my most favorite Elmo's World, very cute and entertaining. My favorite Elmo's World movies are: 1) Families, Mail and Bath time 2) Food, Water and Exercise 3) Wake Up With Elmo. Check them out, they're worth your time and money.
This was a Christmas gift and she seems to enjoy it. The DVD was received in good condition and in a timely fashion.
My son only watches Elmo's World... I especially enjoy this dvd because it does a great job covering the daily routine of starting your day. Always educational.
My son loves Elmo&this DVD is one of many great learning DVDs in his collection.
It keeps my 3yr old occupied while I do my regular chores. What else can I say? If she likes it then I like it too.

I feel that this is one of Sarah McLachlan's finest CD's, I love the music but one thing I do not like about it is the "enhanced CD" format. While the value added items of an "enhanced CD" may be important to some people I found it to be a pain. I was forced to Rip the songs, losing quality in the process, to another format to save them to my computer so that I could use the CD in my car. I wish this album had been released in both the enhanced and the regular format. I gave it five stars because of the incredible songs on the album. If I were asked about the "enhanced CD" experience I would have only given it a rating of two stars.
It took quite a few listens for me to like it when I first bought it. I was initially disappointed but grew to love it even more than the others. Now, years later, it's my favorite. I'm older now and it strikes more of a chord with me. Who knows, maturity? Great!
I have never heard it played and am thankful, spay and neuter your pets please.
I am a long time Sarah fan this CD ranks up with the best her work. She is at her melancholy and introspective best in this CD singing about her worries, fears and failures. Her voice is beautiful and the composition is great on this disc.
Highlights for me are "Fallen", "World on Fire", "Train Wreck", "Push" and "Time". "Push" is a beautiful love song and it's sad to hear that her marriage recently broke up as I can only assume she wrote this song about her husband.
I love this CD and recommend it if you are at all a fan.
I have always loved SM, but this CD did not offer me anything new, with the exception of 'Answer'. This one song makes the CD somewhat redeemable. I like the rest of the CD okay, but it's not one that's going to be in the CD rotation of favorites.
Is Sarah McLachlan a secret punk rocker? To be sure, her rebellion is hushed. OnAfterglow, her first studio album since 1997'sSurfacing, McLachlan's music is as tempered as ever; at times even the piano chords at the heart of the sound are tucked neatly beneath layer upon layer of strings and overdubbed voices. Listen to what's being sung within this soothing aural bed, though, and hear the just-before-sleep murmurings of the quietest riot grrl: "I'm a train wreck waiting to happen.... a wildfire born of frustration," "How stupid could I be.... you're no good for me, but you're the only one I see," "I have to push just to see how far you'll go." The latter song ("Push") resolves itself with the assurance, "You complete me." Ultimately, McLachlan fans will be comforted again by what turns out to be her reliably untroubled aesthetic.--Rickey Wright

My favourite movie cant buy it in australia lucky i found it on here its heaps good movie the books good too.
As with most Phil Kaufman films, there's a lot more going on than meets the eye. Kaufman is after nothing less than the collision of the end of the 50's as it crashes headlong into the 60's. Featuring a cast of unknowns ( at that time ) and a fantastic soundtrack, Kaufman fills The Wanderers with great character performances such as Terror, the 300 pound gang leader, and the Mob guys in XXl-size Hawaiian shirts. Ken Wahl and Karen Allen lead along with a terrific Linda Mans ( Days of Heaven). And because it just wouldn't be a Phil Kaufman film without a metaphysical layer, there is the unexplained presence of the Ducky Boys, whirling dervishes of ultra violence that might not even be real. It's a film that never received the attention it deserved. And who can forget the opening frame as that first chord of "Walk Like A Man" thunders out. Priceless!

Finian's Rainbow is a good, family musical that gave Fred Astaire a chance to stretch his dancing legs again. The story makes it a decent piece of St. Paddy's Day flair. The show was a hit on Broadway in the late 40s, and Francis Ford Coppola brought it to the screen in this 1968 version. The cast includes performances by Petula Clark, Tommy Steele (a HUGE name in British pop-rock in the early 60s), Keenan Wynn and Don Francks. Hidden beneath the surface of this gem of a musical is a social commentary that was farily blatant for the times.
Disappointed in the musical production and the music itself. Weak story line and terrible cinematography. Severely dated.
This DVD was fun to watch. Fred Astaire does some fun dancing and
Petula Clark sings her blarney stone off.
Tommy Steele, steals the movie though. He is a crack up to watch.
Keenan Wynn waiting for his Bromo Seltzer had me rollin.
I loved this movie growing up as a child and wanted to get some movies that I thought my children would enjoy that didn't have inappropriate items in them. They loved them. Want some family time pop some popcorn and enjoy this movie!
"Finian's Rainbow" was a hallmark of sorts. The stage production was first launched in 1947,but its allegedly socialist themes kept it off the silver screen until 1968. It was Fred Astaire's final film; it was also Francis Ford Coppola's directorial debut. George Lucas was an intern on the set.

"Finian's Rainbow" is about an old Irishman, Finian (Fred Astaire) who finds a pot of gold at the end of the legendary rainbow. Petula Clark stars as Finian's long-suffering daughter. The energetic Tommy Steele is the friendly leprechaun. Finian and his daughter find a multi-cultural commune, Rainbow Valley, where blacks and whites live together in peace. All is well. Until an evil Senator (Keenan Wynn) has his eyes on the land,as well as the pot of gold. The racist Senator is turned black thanks to the daughter's inadvertent wish. Since it is a fairy tale, good triumphs and everyone lives happily ever after.

"Finian's Rainbow" addressed '60s issues such as racism. It was psychedelic with its Rainbow Valley and leading leprechaun man. It has a good, perennial message. There is some strong singing and dancing.

Unfortunately, "Finian's Rainbow" is heavy-handed. The pace lags. It's a sloooow movie. To make matters worse, the songs are forgettable... never a good sign in a musical. Luckily, Coppola grew from this movie. He went over the rainbow... to the land of Sicily and an offer no moviegoer can refuse!
A funny thing happened toFinian's Rainbowin between its debut as a Broadway musical in 1947 and its appearance as a film in 1968. After 21 years, its theme of racial tension in the American South was no longer cutting edge, and the fact that its heroes are a group of sharecroppers called the Rainbow Valley Tobacco Cooperative dates it even further. Add a number of subplots and the heavy hand of a 29-year-old Francis Ford Coppola directing his first and only musical, and the two-and-a-half-hour running time feels bloated. Hermes Pan (best known for the classic Astaire-Rogers movies) is credited with choreographing the overbusy musical numbers, but he was reportedly overruled by Coppola at every turn. Still, there is a lot to enjoy in this movie, most notably Fred Astaire in his last lead role in a musical. Fred plays Finian McLonergan, an Irishman who has traveled to America in hopes of planting a pilfered pot of gold near Fort Knox and watching it grow. Even at 69, Fred shows he is still capable of a sprightly step and warbling "Look to the Rainbow." Another plus is the casting of '60s pop icon Petula Clark as his daughter, as she sings with an unaffected loveliness. Finally, the score by Burton Lane and E.Y. Harburg includes two of the best Broadway songs ever written--"Old Devil Moon" and "How Are Things in Glocca Morra?"--as well as the comic ditty "When I'm Not Near the Girl I Love."--David Horiuchi

This movie is my favorite. Im a romantic person and this movie makes me cry every time. I ordered it but haven't received it yet. I have seen in the past many many times.
This is not just about two people in love, it is about San Francisco at its best. It is about making the most of every day. So what if it is a little too "chickflicky". Way to go, Charlize!
Movie is very entertaining and touching. Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron are very good in their roles.
This is one of those incurable disease flicks designed to make you cry. I didn't, but then again, maybe it wasn't as effective as it could have been. It reminded me of a remake of "Love Story," the '60s film. Actually, it fooled me for the first two thirds. I didn't see the disease angle coming. It's a chick flick, no doubt. But guys will like it up to a point.
I loved this movie! Charlize Theron and Keanu Reeves were wonderful together. It was actually beautiful yet sad at the same time.Sara Deever ( Charlize) takes a different man into her home every month. Her reasons in doing this is to help the men out with any kind of problems they are having in life. Nelson (Keanu) happened to be her November. He is a rude, arrogant man that doesn't care about anyone but himself. She helps him become a better person and they fall inlove for the first time in both of their lives. Little does Nelson know that Sara is ill. I will leave it at that because i don't want to give everything away.I would recommend this movie to anyone because it is great. Also, Jason Isaacs provides some comedy in this movie as well. He was fun to watch.
The 1968 version ofSweet Novemberwas a frothy fable that worked, for the most part, due to the charmingly offbeat chemistry of costars Sandy Dennis and Anthony Newley. For this turn-of-the-millennium remake, Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron do their best to ground the fable in a more sophisticated reality, but that's just what this moviedoesn'tneed. The premise is preposterous to begin with, so we need credible fantasy to leap over chasms of logic and ease into what should be a tear-jerking variation ofLove Story. It's certainly possible to get suckered into the movie's sticky-sweet romance, but you'll need extra effort to suspend your disbelief.

Theron is Sara, who pathologically lures men into romance for one month at a time, "helping" them before moving onto the next month's catch. She's avoiding long-term commitments because she's deathly ill--a fact revealed byhundredsof prescription bottles hidden in her medicine cabinet. Reeves is Nelson, the fast-lane advertising executive who reluctantly becomes Sara's Mr. November. He's insulting and callous until he learns the truth, at which point director Pat O'Connor makes a 180-degree tone shift that cannot possibly succeed. Theron makes the most of her movie-sickness routine, but Reeves is out of his depth, and not one buttworomantic montages (set to the music of Enya, no less) only emphasize the movie's abundant clichés (the most obvious beingThe Patriot's Jason Isaacs as Theron's supportive gay neighbor). This is definitely a light romantic comedy. Reese Witherspoon plays an up-and-coming New York fashion designer with the perfect life laid out in front of her - including the perfect boyfriend. When circumstances arise that take her back to her roots in rural Alabama, her two worlds clash and the fun begins. While there are many humorous, funny parts there are also some heartwarming/thoughtful moments as well. Reese Witherspoon is great in this lead role and Josh Lucas is perfect for the part he plays.

Not "serious" film but enjoyable -- a good, entertaining movie.
This movie is pure propaganda for the "south-will-rise-again" right-wing know-nothing worldview prevalent for most of the reign of Bush II. Southerners with their down-home anti-intellectual "authenticity" are pitted against "phony elitist" northeastern liberals. The southerners come out ahead in the end when Reese's Witherspoon's character, an up-and-coming fashion designer, leaves the son of New York City's mayor to return to Alabama and the redneck husband she had been trying to divorce. Predictable, not even remotely funny, downright depressing. I know Reese Witherspoon is from Tennessee, but she's supposed to be intelligent and not exactly a Rush Limbaugh disciple. I can't imagine why she didn't see through this script in two seconds and put it in its well-deserved place in the recycling bin.

"Home Sweet Alabama" is a combination of humor and serious drama. Melanie (Reese Witherspoon) is young woman who left her past behind to pursue her career as a clothing designer in New York. Just when she is at the top of her game and is engaged to Andrew Hemings (Patrick Depsey), the son of the mayor of New York (Candice Bergen), things start to unravel. Returning to her redneck husband she finds that he is not quite ready to finalize their divorce. Amidst all of the comedy, Melanie gradually finds herself as she tries to complete the transition from the world she was born into to the woman she has created. While watching the film one enjoys following the self realization which gradually turns Melanie into her true self.

I won't say more because I do not want to ruin it for you, but on two levels, this is a most entertaining movie. Don't miss it.

The first time I saw this one, I thought Witherspoon's character was a little too unlikable for the lead in a romantic comedy, however, after watching the movie more than once I don't feel as much that way. This is a nice movie that still has a few surprises even though you kind of get the feeling you know where things are going. The one thing this movie is lacking that usually shows up in most romantic comedies is a seriously dumb moment in which the characters look goofy and completely unbelievable. That's a plus. The movie has fun with sterotypes about the south and big cities like New York without going too far over the line. It's definitely worth buying a copy of this movie for occasions when you want to watch a nice light movie.
As formulaic, utterly inoffensive romantic comedies go,Sweet Home Alabamacould be better, and could be worse. It's a variant of Julia Roberts'sSomething to Talk About, with all the same strengths and weaknesses, and Reese Witherspoon is definitely its saving grace. As an Alabama country girl turned hot New York fashion designer, Witherspoon finds the genuine emotions hidden under a blandly familiar plot, making her character's romantic indecisiveness seem not only credible but disarmingly appealing. She's just agreed to marry the Camelot-bred son (Patrick Dempsey) of New York's no-nonsense mayor (Candice Bergen), but first she has to officially divorce the husband (Josh Lucas) she left behind years earlier... only to discover that their love is stronger than ever. I am a middle school music teacher and I actually watch this movie with my kids. I think it is a great film with a great performance by Richard Dreyfuss. Highly Recommended!!!
A tremendous story about how a dream deferred can culminate into our true life's purpose. This binding drama is laced with heart-felt realism, humorous interludes and paced by the corelating headlines of the day. A must-see for anyone, but especially those who lived through the 60's, 70's and 80's.
This is simply a nice, dramatic story of a music teacher's life. Richard Dreyfuss plays the teacher, "Glenn Holland." It spans 30 years of his career with a tear-jerking ending. Endearing characters make it a memorable film.

The focus of the story is Dreyfuss and three students he gives special time to over the years. A big subplot involves the teacher and his hearing-impaired son.

The students are winningly played by Alicia Witt, who plays the sweet girl who goes on to become governor; Terrence Howard, a really nice kid who gets killed in Viet Nam, and Jean Louisa Kelly, the last and most memorable student perhaps, an extremely talented singer who goes on to a career in New York City.

Interwoven are some personal stories, particularly with Kelly's character, and with fellow teachers (Jay Thomas playing the most likable) and school administrators (Olympia Dukakis and William H. Macy). The most personal, of course, involves his hot-cold-hot relationship with his disabled son (played by three different actors as time passes.) Glenne Headly, meanwhile, plays Dreyfuss' wife.

As you can see by this cast, this is a well-acted movie with the only flaw being the screenwriters unable - as Hollywood seems to be - to control their political bias by giving us unwarranted cheap shots to Republican politicians who are pictured as being against the arts. In addition, atheist John Lennon is almost deified in this film as one of the "heroes" of the 20th century, plus there are a few more digs and plugs here and there, all with the normal Liberal bias. Gee, why couldn't they just stick the story?

The movie seems to appeal to a wide audience. It's very manipulative, but it works. In addition to Hollywood's normal love affair of teachers, it is also a plug, if you will, for deaf children and the problems they face and the difficulties parents face in raising a kid with that disability.
The dvd came in what seemed to be original shrink wrap. When I popped it into my computer, I was concerned at first because my Media Player noted that the dvd was titled "Dead Poet's Society." A good movie, but not the one I'd ordered. The picture was not clear, and was no more clear when played on my DVD player. A few scenes I recall were deleted. Overall, I was rather disappointed.
A heart warming story of success despite disabilities, a dad who is often absent for his son but not his students, and a school that fights itself for the arts--music. A must see for teachers ans students alike. It never fails to inspire.

My daughter loves to watch the leap frog movies. Code Word Caper taught her the hidden "e" concept after watching it just one time. She watches it over and over and seems to grasp other concepts, too. And she is only 4!
I love this DVD. I bought this for my 3 year old since she knew all of her letters and I was trying to find a way to move to the next step of phonics. It only took her 3 times of viewing this DVD and now she knows the sound that each letter makes. She likes it so much that now she's guessing the letter that all the words she knows start with (clothes, ball, bed, etc). This DVD is great and I'm lacking words to sing its praises. Buy it and you will not regret it.
My son and I loves this video! He is learning how to read and at first he was having trouble putting words together and sounding them out. This video has helped him learn some of the basic fundamentals about putting words together and sounding them out. He has gotten better. I would definitely recommend this video.
I used this video (and the one before it, the Talking Words Factory) to teach my 5year old GERMAN-born, GERMAN-raised son (and later, his then 3year old brother) how to read in English, sound out words based upon some phonetic regularity. The DVDs not only kept him highly entertained and singing the songs until they 'came out our ears' (German saying, meaning until we got sick of hearing them), but also taught him so quickly how to decipher English words that he caught up to his American-born classmates in no time and now, a year after we have moved back to Germany, STILL reads very well, reminding himself of the rules learned in the DVDs every now and again.

I didn't like the last installment in the series as much though the punctuation and chunking portions were all right. It just wasn't structured as nicely, in my (teacherly) opinion.
My 5-year old loves Leap Frog, and this is another Leap Frog video that he wants to watch over and over. It's not only entertaining for the kids, but a great teaching tool as well.

I ordered this cologne for my husband after smelling it in the store. Price was good, shipping time was accurate and we received the bottle intact.
Great refreshing scent, but no one else has mentioned anything about it yet. I guess that "patented technology" still needs a few breakthroughs. It doesn't last as long as 10 hours like some people are saying, but it's a cologne not miracle water. I still like it.
I am very satisfied with the purchased taht I did, I received it safely and well packed.
Lacoste Essential is a great fragrance, that yields compliments wherever I go. It is a pleasant fragrance that people notice, but nobody has ever complained about and doesn't seem to be overpowering. Even better, it is very long lasting, due to ingredients (like black pepper) that are heat activated. The top note is fresh and citrusy, with a woodsy middle, and very subtle musk undertones. It's the best of all worlds and is perfect for a business function, causal setting with friends, or a late night on the town. Very versatile and very pleasant.

Bottom line: it smells very good and can be used for almost anything. By far my favorite cologne.

Love the mints. Helps me with digestion and settles my stomach when needed. Glad I found these mints.
Altoids are made with pork gelatin and the packaging does not give any indication of this. Thus altoids are not suitable for vegans, vegetarians, or individuals who eat Halal or Kosher. Even worse Amazon lists ginger altoids under "vegan grocery".
We love these peppermint Altoids! While they are a very good breath mint, we use them mainly for flavoring our coffee and sometimes, tea. One, in the bottom of the cup, or a few in the coffee/tea pot makes life more interesting! Also, good with just a touch of hot cocoa, added along with Altoids, in coffee. And yes, they are good in hot cocoa, too. Very inexpensive, easy way to flavor coffee or tea, much cheaper than alternative. Almost no calories, but big on flavor! We've used these for decades!

I ordered this for my husband, who was using a laptop for the first time. I did a lot of research, and am happy to say that it payed off. I have used it, too. He has a 15'' Macbook and it fits perfectly. The most important feature that this bag has (that others are missing) is the handle on top. It is great for getting in and out of the car, easily. It is also a great looking bag, and doesn't have that "briefcase" look. Is has the right amount of pockets inside for storing and separating. I highly recommend this bag.

I bought two of these, purple and pink. They fit much better than I expected. The wings get bent out of shape after wearing them for awhile. We just bend them back. They are cute and fun.

I sent this hot chocolate mix to a friend. She called to thank me and to say it was the best hot chocolate she ever had. "It was delicious and I am trying not to keep drinking it all at once!"
I thought the hot choc. mix was not very sweet and didn't like it. So unless you like you choc. a bit unsweet then don't get it.
This product of course was very tasty, the only part I did not enjoy was paying more for the shipping than what I paid for the chocolate mix.
If you want a real chocolate taste, then I highly recommend this. I mean, come on... it's from Ghirardelli. My girlfriend and I have enjoyed this many times during this cold weather.
I sent this to my sister for Christmas. She serves it to guests and they rave over how good this is. And that she gives them the "good stuff." I think its' cool to have a high quality chocolate for treasured guests.

There was nothing wrong with the pastries--everyone seemed to like them, so you'll be fine as long as they don't mess up your order.

I ordered two boxes of pastries for Christmas gifts, but the shipping was slower than expected and, more importantly, they only sent *ONE* of the two boxes. I tried calling them and got a recording--figuring they were probably just busy because of the time of year, I also sent them two e-mails. So far I have not heard back. The shipping label was attached directly to the SINGLE pastry box (rather that being affixed to a larger cardboard box that could possibly hold two) and said BOX 1 of 1, so I know it wasn't a delivery service problem. They simply only shipped one of the two boxes that I ordered.

Mistakes can happen to any company, but the fact that they are hard to get in touch with and won't return my e-mails is just poor customer service.

You have found it! I have bought baklava products from literally hundreds of bakeries, including many online bakeries. No other mail order has even come close to the excellent quality of Shatila. And price? Wow; tremendous value for the quantity.

So far, I have tried the Mixed Pastries, Cashew Fingers, and Burma. All are fabulous! All received raves from my guests; so delicate; so fresh; so well crafted! I need to give a special shout out for the burma; this incredible creation was hard to keep around for long; absolutely everyone went nuts for it.

Mmmm, Shatila; anyone who lives in Michigan is very lucky to have such a fabulous bakery. From 1500 miles away, I appreciate that even though I chose standard delivery, 6 days did absolutely no harm to the freshness of the items; they were so well packaged, and in such nice display boxes.

The baklavah is amazing! They are all very good, especially the birds nest and baklawah with pistachio. :D Very happy with them

The child that this was purchased for loves dinosaurs and thinks that this stamp set is great.
My son got this stamp set for his 5th birthday. He's getting into coloring and loves dinosaurs. He really enjoys it, as does his little sister (2) and any friends who have come over to play. It's great quality and they spend a lot of time stamping and then coloring in the stamps with the colored pencils. The only downside is that you have to press down really hard for the pencils to color. We have just replaced the pencils with crayola colored pencils, which are softer, so not a big deal.
I bought two of these sets. Both my five year old grandson and my three year old neighbor, who is hospitalized with a bone marrow transplant, loved this set. It was especially good for the youngster hospitalized and quite sick because he could manage it in bed!
I ordered this for my 6 year old son who loves art. The set is very visually attractive and a good size. My son was able to use the stamps with the supplied pad to create a cool dino scene. Then he used the pencils to color it in, add volcano's, etc. Cool set for a young art lover.

My little girl loves these. She can now name all of the animals and she enjoys re-arranging the on the fridge.
I bought these for my children for Christmas. They are very nice. I think they would be very good for teaching animal names and sounds etc. If your child is teething it wouldn't be very good as the front is just glosed paper glued to wood and then to magnet and will tear if chewed on. They stick to the refridge fine aand don't slide around. They are not as fun to paly with as the abc magnets that are under this brand because you can only do so much with animals but they are enjoyed as well.
Fine quality magnet toys for a small play station on your frig is the perfect extra activity for a small child. Although these are recommended for older children, I use these with my grandchild at age 1, with high supervision. I sit next to this location to make sure nothing goes in her mouth. Since small children like making animal sounds and communicating by pointing, this makes for a nice game between grownup and child.
I was also happy to see that even the box is strongly made and splinter free for gathering pieces for the back and forth play.I would recommend it with the caution that children must be supervised at younger ages.
My only complaint is that the images are glued-on paper without a laminate layer over them. If your kids tend to dunk things, stick things in their mouths, etc, the images will not last long. Very cute though, nice variety of animals, and insofar as they have lasted my kids love them.
My daughter is one and loves animals and magnets, but these don't hold her attention for very long. I like them for teaching her about animals and animal sounds, but she won't play with them on her own. They are also too thin for her to easily take off the refrigerator and put them back on.
I also bought the LeapFrog Fridge Farm Magnetic Animal Set, and that's much better for keeping her entertained on her own. (The pieces are chunkier and have optional sounds and music).
Overall, good images of animals but probably good for kids who are a little older.
Kids will have a wild time learning and playing with these magnetic animals. With plenty of colorful, generously-sized wooden magnets and classic animal shapes, children are sure to be engaged and entertained for hours. 20 pieces. Handy wooden storage box measures 8" x 1.5" x 5.5".

The magnetic blocks, the well chosen patterns, and the variety of ways to use them make this an appropriate toy for even special needs early childhood. The range of learning skills encoumpassrs logic, art, math, problem-solving, and creativity, while being just plain fun! I bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it. For beginners, you place the different shapes on the board where the imprint of the shape is. As they get better, you can create your own pictures using the various shapes. It's magnetic so it all stays in place. Great for the car.
The product is good but I wish it would have circle shapes also.
It's nice but for some reason my daughter doesn't play with it. She likes other puzzles and pattern sorters a lot but this one is not a hit for some reason. Maybe it's not age appropriate. My daughter just turned 3.
This is a great toy. I find myself making patterns with it too. I really like that it's magnetic. The pieces stay in place perfectly, so no one gets frustrated if the board gets moved. It comes in a very nice storage container thats durable and portable. Great item!
This is an excellent tool for building an understanding of color, shapes, and patterns. There is so much room for learning by using this toy! And best of all, it's fun! And, for us moms out there, keeping up with it is a breeze. It comes with it's own vinyl storage case, and who can beat magnetic pieces that stick to the board to ease your child's frustrations if the pieces don't "stay" where they are put. The pictures included are really cute - I especially enjoy the duck pattern - and my daughter loves putting them together.
