It is truly heavy duty and well-made, and easy to assemble and use. You don't have to use any weird chemicals to get rid of dirt and germs. Get everything truly clean and nice-smelling with no chemical residue that might harm kids or pets. It's wonderful for bathrooms and kitchens. You can really get into all the nooks and crannies that you thought were clean and just blast the crud away! It's also great for your off-season clothes that have been in storage, as it will take out any wrinkles or musty odors - again without having to pay for dry cleaning. I can't wait for warmer weather to try it on my grill, lawn furniture, window screens, patio, etc! I really was impressed with this little machine. It did a great job on my kitchen tile floor, as well as the bathroom. The grout tool looks as if it will wear out pretty quickly with repeated scrubbing, but it did effectively clean very dirty white grout which I had not been able to get clean without strong chemicals. Since I have a dog with epilepsy who is sensitive to strong odors, this is a great option. I found that it will clean for a half hour or more when full, and doesn't take long to reheat the water if I take a break. I used a towel to clean up the residual water on the floor after cleaning -- using the cloth provided would take too long on a large area. I liked the way they included a screwdriver (the screw is already in the part, which I found after looking all over the packaging for a screw!), and that the fittings on the machine are brass and very sturdy. Excellent and effective cleaner. Nothing worked on my tiles except this powerful steamer. As a result, I was able to clean my bathroom grout and tile to like new. This machine will save anyone hours and hours of work, such as having to retile or regrout an entire bathroom. Great product! A time and money saver as well. Rosemary I bought this machine for my tile grout. It didn't do such a good job. But I did find other uses for it. I can clean the washing machine rim and in the nooks and crannys. It does blow stuff out of the cracks in things. The steam has not got the force it claims but I do like the machine. It does window pretty well too. I was also able to clean the inside of my fridge. I don't like using chemicals in there. With this machine no need for harsh chemicals. Steamer worked as expected and even a little better on bad mold in the shower. These rolls are the best way of doing that. Not inexpensive, but definitely cheaper than the individual bags and more convenient by being individually sizable. I buy the rolls so I can cut them to any size I want without wasting the bag. If I want to freeze 2 chicken breast - no waste of bag, if I want to freeze 4 chicken breasts - cut to size. I love that I can stack the chicken in the freezer without it falling over. We just bought 30 lbs of chicken breasts - boneless at Albertsons because they were offering them at $1.97 lb. You can't let that get past with todays prices. I have been using this product all summer to store my garden harvest. It is a good quality plastic and seems much more sturdy than the over-the-counter bags you buy at the store. The rolls are pricey, but again, compared to other options given at the store, I think these are the best deal overall. I will continue to use these since I think they are the best product on the market so far. Just like others that posted reviews on this item, I agree that buying the rolls is much, much better than purchasing the individual bags. You are able to cut the bag to your liking and not be wasteful. I don't see myself ever buying the individual bags again. Got the 380 just over 30 days ago... (although, this review applies to the whole scooba line as they are all very similar) I want to start off by saying that I have the roomba 530 and 560 and I love them both, wouldn't be able to keep my house clean without them. However, with the scooba 380 I was severely disappointed: While it does clean the floor somewhat effectively, it is gravely overshadowed by the below points that make me wish I had returned it within the 30-day return policy. Here is what I have experienced over the last 30 days (used it about 8 times to clean high traffic kitchen area and bathroom floors). My first impression right off the bat was that it does not have the same build quality of the Roomba series which was immediately noticeable upon unpacking. From the sharp plastic edges, defective charging unit to the light houses, the whole experience is a lot cheaper and clumsier than the roomba 500 line. It is almost as if it was made by an entirely different knockoff company... Despite allowing the scooba to charge overnight, it is not capable of completing two full cleaning cycles on 1 battery charge, misleading from the marketing materials, again this is the 380 which is supposed to be able to clean larger rooms with two complete cycles. Long recharge time (about 3 hrs+). You need to clean the brush, filter and rubber tube every couple of cycles. Requires you to empty the dirty solution tank for every cycle (obviously, but one of the many steps to using this product). Unlike the roomba it does not figure out how long to run for. If you fill the tank and put the scooba in a small bathroom it will run for the same amount of time as a large room, like a kitchen, very frustrating. iRobot's advice for this shortcoming is to put less solution for smaller rooms, not an elegant or easy solution. You have to calculate the water/solution ratio for small spaces, which is a pain and still haven't figured out. I have dark hardwood floors, leaves SOME streaks and tire marks even after wet spots have dried. Once it completes a cleaning cycle it beeps every minute or so, so if you want to run the scooba at night it will annoy you to put it back to charge, I hate appliances and gadgets that beep unnecessarily. At least the roomba 500 series does notifications with nice tones rather than retro beeps... (I know this is nitpicking but it speaks to the low quality of the unit and user experience as a whole). It gets stuck more frequently than my 2 roombas and sometimes is able to sneak under one of my area rugs, making a mess and eventually getting stuck. iRobot mentions that it is able to "sense" carpets, only if they are heavy enough to trigger its clumsy bumper system. The standalone charging unit is defective. It does not complete charging the battery, forced to use the scooba's inconvenient multi pin charging port on the side to recharge. The faulty charging base is a widespread problem, refer to user forums online&irobot's website for reference. Not capable of self-charging as with the upper level roomba series, a must-have feature to make these robots worth the time (and $$$). (Have to connect a clumsy multi pin connector that has to be oriented exactly right to plug properly.) Clorox solution is expensive, after spending almost $500 on this robot it hurts to have to buy this expensive proprietary solution although, have not tried vinegar, heard that it can affect certain types of hard wood floors (which I have). Loud and squeaky (due to scooba's rubber squeegee), can't be in the same room as the scooba if you want to relax... Oh and FYI in iRobot's scooba product video (on their website) depicts a rubber belt sweeping away dirt (part of its "first stage" of cleaning), not so: That belt is just a stationary squeegee and dirt is supposed to be directed to vacuum ports on either edge of the robot, disappointed when I discovered this. The virtual walls are not up to par with the roomba's virtual walls (500 series). It has an extremely wide beam, more so than the roomba lighthouses. This makes using them a bit more difficult as the scooba stays pretty far away from the virtual walls, thus loosing cleaning coverage. One solution is to try to hide it on the opposite side of a doorway. All in all, I can not recommend this current generation of scoobas (they all function nearly identical, its just the battery and accessories that differ). There are just too many niggles about this product that lead to an overall bad user experience. If you want a robot to clean something then go with the roomba, its effective, fun and easy to use. As for easy mopping: A swiffer mop (or similar product) in about 5 minutes can do what takes the scooba about 45 minutes + maintenance (not to mention 3 hour charging time) to accomplish. Simply put, this product does NOT make mopping easier, in reality it takes longer, is more frustrating and requires a lot more patience than a already simple process. Hopefully irobot will have a major revision of the scooba to make it worth our time and money. 2 stars because this product has some potential and it does somewhat clean the floor, but again I don't like this product and I wish I hadent kept it outside the "30 day satisfaction guarantee" Finally, I read a lot of reviews before buying the scooba, anyone who says they simply love it and blindly give it 4 or 5 stars has got to be affiliated with iRobot in some way... I bought a Scooba and the cleaner and I couldn't be happier. I just push the button and "Alice" cleans the floor in the kitchen and breakfast room. I wish I'd had this years ago. It's too bad that I can't use whatever cleaning solution in my little scooba. I tried the vinegar solution and for some reason it did not work with my scooba. I called irobot customer service and they said that solution would not work with my particular scooba (a 5000 series). So it you love your scooba, and I do, you need this. I couldn't find it in my local stores. Amazon should be able to sell it for less. Great solution cleaner. It works well with scooba. I cant really say anything much about it. It sucks that i have to use this particular product to use my scooba. I hate that. I should be able to use anything. Its kind of pricy too considering its not in gallons for what its worth. The Clorox Scooba cleaning solution works well. No ingredient list is given. Wonder why ? Top secret ? A very competent country-pop band with a talented female vocalist, but not a glimmer of punk attitude, nor any kind of an offbeat, skewed sensibility. In today's mainstream country music arena, songs like"Good One"or"Best of Me"would be perfectly acceptable garden-variety radio fodder. The most unusual thing on this CD is a version of"On the Street Where You Live"that scraps the original melody entirely but still manages to be...inoffensive. Kind of a marketing nightmare, since the Mary-Chapin Carpenter fans who might enjoy this CD won't buy it because it's by a band called Naked Barbies. The Naked Barbies are a cultural fixure in the Berkeley area for many years now, and this first album of theirs finally allows their rabid fans to enjoy a bit of their energy outside of the nightclub. For those unfamiliar with their music, the melodious layers of folk, rock and blues will seduce you into their audio dreamland throughout this disc. Listen attentively for the lead singers exceptional voice and the roads it can take the listener musically and lyrically. Especially powerful is the work of their drummer, which will remind those of us over 30 of Ringo Starrs younger, more aggressive days with the Beetles. An exceptional album from a rookie band who has since produced two more discs, and promises fans that there are more on the way! I got two falls out of this leaf-vac before the little male-plastic bar that holds the fan/hand unit into the blowers female part broke as I cleared the 20th jam of the day today and tried to hook the unit back together. Before it broke...it was heavy even empty and bulky to maneuver. It jammed very easy at the narrow hole from the machine to the bag. The bag was always flying off my shoulder no matter how I adjusted the strap. I give it a positive review for the blowing action. It blows grass off the driveway and walkway good. When it wasn't jamming it sucked very dry loose leaves up. It jams on bunches and god forbid there is a little moisture on them. Won't buy a B&D replacement. I ordered this blower by black/decker, started it for first time-burnt out after few minutes. Returned and got a replacement of same item-same problem again. Bought a toro from home depot and is working fine. This product is a typical, yet usable, B&D design. The handle-mounted power cord lock is somewhat difficult to use, but works fairly well after the cord is "locked" into a type of holder that could be improved. The product does what it is intended to do, no more, no less. It is a powerful vacuum and works very well with high amounts of dry leaf material. The attached bagger is somewhat cumbersome to use and empty, produces copious amounts of leaf-dust, but overall, this product works quite well in vacuuming lots of leaf and yard material. I ordered the Black&Decker 12-AMP Electric Blower/Vacuum/Mulcher #BV2500, it was $55.56 when i ordered it, and i cose two day shipping for an extra $12.66. Unlike any of the other 200+ items I've ordered from Amazon, for some reason this item required someone to actually be home to sign for the item so I got to sit and watch it not get delivered each day as the price dropped a couple of dollars each day after I ordered it and realized that I could've just bought the item at a local hardware store for a better price and less hassle. As I write this review the current price is at $49.99. When I finally received the item I soon realized that the package had been re-taped and was obviously USED, with missing packaging, manuals, warranty card and obvious wear and tear on the blower itself. Rather than fight with Amazon's return policy and go through even more hassle I decided to just live with it and take it as a lesson learned. The blower itself seems really powerful and really moves the leaves around. The mulcher seems a little scary as it actually seems to suck up small twigs and debris better than leaves and makes some pretty disturbing noises as they try to go through. I had an older version of the Leaf Hog and had nothing but trouble with it. I had to rebuild the switch mechanism two times (plastic parts kept breaking) and then the motor died (bushings shot) and there were NO replacement parts available. B&D does not seem to put the quality into their products that they used to and are much more interested in selling new versions than in keeping older version in service. I am all for electric yard equipment (that's all I own), but recommend that you buy some other brand name. With the Black&Decker Leaf Hog, you can clean up both the deck and the lawn with one reasonably priced and easy-to-maintain machine. This blower/vac is electric, so it requires an extension cord and an electric outlet to run, but there's nothing else to set up or maintain. The 12 amp motor has considerable power for its size, more than enough to clear driveways or decks or blow off sections of lawn. At just over 7 pounds, the Leaf Hog is light enough to use for long periods of time, and it's also quiet enough to use at any time of day. Switching from blowing to vacuuming is a snap--literally. The correct button took us a moment to find, but once you've located it, you simply depress it and remove the blowing unit, then attach the vacuum extension in its place. The extension has a bag for mulch, which attaches with a small clasp. When vacuuming, the unit mulches by sucking leaves through the fan assembly. Though this model, with its patented Vortex anticlog vacuum system, does a better job of remaining unclogged than most, you still need to be careful to avoid rocks and sticks. It also has a variable-speed control that lets you choose between 150 and 200 mph blower speed. I would not buy this again. I love my new dustbuster, the price was more reasonable than any other place I looked, and it got here within a couple of days. This DustBuster has not lived up to its predecessors. It does not seem to suck up dirt in the same way as others I have had. I think the molding of the front end may decrease the contact and suction. I read the kind of iffy reviews and was a bit hesitant to make the purchase but I figured for 22 bucks, I couldn't expect much. But after six months of regular use, I'm still very happy with my 22 buck investment. No, it isn't a full vacuum cleaner and one shouldn't expect it to perform as such but it does the job of a dustbuster like a champ. I have hardwood floors. There isn't a dustpan in the world that doesn't leave bits of ick on the floor so when I'm done sweeping, I suck up the pile. I also use it for a quick cleaning of the car, picking up kitty litter that my agile cats kick out of the cat box, a quick clean of my carpeted stairs, getting cobwebs out of corners, picking up bits of cardboard that one of my cats has the compulsion to shred. It takes a charge quickly and holds it for much longer than I need it to for the various quick jobs I have for it. It picks up both the tiny bits and the big bits. It's easy to clean. After I make a lap around the house with it, I dump the contents, rinse out the filter and plug it back in. The next time I need it, the filter is ready to go and it's fully charged. I'm not sure why anyone would be disappointed with it.
