Bought these when I bought my steam mop, just wanted to make sure I had extras, as I have large rooms and use all four when mopping.
good product..they work well but as they age you will start to see streaks on the floor..
The Bissell Steam Mop replacement pads are wonderful, easy to use, and they just go in the washer to clean them
These steam mop heads live up to their claim. Very versatile and really hold the dirt. We throw them in the washing machine and let them air dry.

This is a great product. Love the original Swivel Sweeper and it was time for an upgrade to the G2. This is even better than the original and a must have for any homeowner. It is great for quick cleanups and gets in hard to reach places. Great for any part of the house. Powerful motor and runs about an hour or so on a single charge. Has many useful features including the swiveling head, touchless dirt tray, and the bending elbow joint to get under furniture. I definitely recommend this product. Fast shipping as well. Amazon is the best!

If you are looking for replacement filters for your Hoover hard floor cleaner, this appears to be the same filter that came with the cleaner to begin with.

This filter is needed in order to operate your Hoover FloorMate. It is fairly cheap to but and can be washed many times before having to be replaced.
Taking the hint from an earlier reviewer, I replace my original (two-year old) filter, and wow, what a difference in suction. It returned the suction to the original level, leaving the floor almost completely dry after one pass. I'll replace the filter regularly from now on!

Great vacuum. A little more noiser than my old one but I think it is because this a commercial vacuum. I really like it. I retired my old Mighty Mite to the garage. We'd had it almost 20 years so it was getting a little worn but still working.
Small convienient Vacuum with loud noise. I use it in my house not for commercial use. I would say a good quality product. I have used it for 3 weeks now and so far so good.

So far so good. Great suction for a lightweight model, encouraging for someone who dislikes vaccuming!
Great vacuum for the price! Great suction and pretty sturdy. It is definitely heavier than I expected - much heavier than my previous Oreck handheld, but manageable. All parts are good but not extraordinary, except that if you plan to use it to vac bare floors you will be disappointed with the floor/carpet attachment. I just kept the one I used with my Oreck, so keep your old floor attachment if you have one.

It is very loud so be prepared!

Ultimately really good for the price!

PS: It is HEPA ready but it does not bring the HEPA filter. You have to order it separately for $25!
It does an OK job vacuuming uncarpeted floor. On carpeted floor, I guess it's OK too, but I could only push but not pull. On both kind of floors, the hose easily falls and ends up on my toe. Why would they use metal to make the detachable hose part but plastic for the part that attaches to the vacuum. Because of the weight, the detachable hose keeps falling if you don't hold it in place. I wouldn't expect a $100+ vacuum has such design fault..

Shipping and handling were expensive, but overall it came out cheaper than any other option. The picture shows both the paper and the plastic filters. The order came with only the paper filter. Since I don't need another plastic one, I just accepted the order. Be aware, however, that the picture is misleading.
The picture is wrong. You only get the filter - not the holder.

The prices was really good and the filter is the exact replacement. I did think the prices was awful low for both pieces.

I couldn't help notice a wide price disparity on this item. Amazon wanted $8 whereas other sellers were<$2! Since this is a consume-and-dispose type item, I decided to pay Buy-It-Now's exorbitant $6.95 shipping fee and buy 3 at $1.25 each - netting me 3 for $10.70 instead of $24 at the Amazon price.

Here's what happened: I received the filters promptly but with NO packaging and NO plastic cover, JUST THE FILTERS. That's fine with me since as another review pointed out, the plastic cover is quite reusable with a quick rinse and it seems pointless to replace it every time ... and the packaging just goes to the landfill after all.

BOTTOM LINE is I'm happy with my purchase but this should be cataloged as two different items - the "Filter Set" at a higher price for those who want the whole package, and the Filter ONLY for people who just want the filter a-la-carte. (I'll rate it 5 stars if they fix this... the filters are just fine.)
I was very happy to see this item on Amazon since this is my 3rd BD stick dust buster. I usually throw the filter on the driveway to get it clean. Now I have a new one!! I think I'll get a battery so I don't have to purchase another whole unit.

The filter usually lasts for one winter. It definitely gets dirty by the end, but in general, it works well with the humidifier.
I bought a Venta air humidifier in the Winter 2007/08 and we are very much satisfied with it. However, depending on the frequence you use it, you have to change from time to time the filter. As we are using it 24/7 in the heating period, it must be replaced all 2-3 month. Unfortunately, in the shop where we bought the air humidifier (bed, bath&beyond) we could not buy the filters anymore. But with Amazon we could get them and even much cheeper as in the shop and the filters were delivered within a few days
Had to buy this filter box to replace one that was a little over a year old and used mostly overnight, every night. No problems to report with the filter replacement box itself at all. However, the first one sent to me was cracked in a few places, probably during shipping by FedEx since the outer shipping box looked like it was crushed a little. I called the company and they immediately sent me a replacement filter box at no charge and no questions asked. Great customer service!

I've had the Venta Sonic 370 for a year now, and i think i've had to return it 2xs. I love that it's quiet and pumps out a ton of moisture. The white box is delicate and like other reviewers said, it does not last that long. I think I got a replacement machine from Venta, and the thing stopped working within a month of usage. It turned on, but slowly eked out a thin amount of moisture. Then it just stopped. So i figured, "ok, one more time i'll buy a new filter and see if that's the culprit." If not, i was going to throw it out. My other Vick's humidifier for $32 works just fine, so i would have been sorry to see the Venta go, but hey, i'm not spending $65 a season just to keep it going. So...now that this product has it's problems, but when it's working, it's really good i think.
I have owned the venta sonic humidifier for over one year and have had problems with the filters. The first one broke after one month and venta replaced it for free. Now the one i bought at amazon.com worked for onlly two weeks and the broke. When it works the humidifier is great however, I can't keep spending this much money for filters that don't last.

I have had one of these for a week. It keeps my hot tea hot for at least 5 hours. I like that the lid doubles as a little tea cup. Note: as the instructions state, you need to put hot water in it, wait for 10 minutes, dump it out, and then add your hot liquid. It works great if you pre-warm it like this.
This thermos worked pretty well for about a month. My coffee was still hot enough after about 2.5 hours. That's about what one should expect for a small thermos like this. But now the bottle gets hot to the touch and the coffee is cool after just 1 hour. Clearly it lost its vacuum between the inner and outer layers. Why doesn't Thermos make glass lined products any more? Glass liners never lose their vacuum.

This item is compact and lightweight but still holds two 8 oz. cups of coffee. Fits neatly into my briefcase without being bulky. My sister saw it and had now ordered one also!
We love this item. It fits perfectly in cup holders, briefcases, bags. It is the correct size to take two cups of tea or coffee to meetings. Highly recommend it.
The first time I tried this, I put in really hot tea and drank it about 5 hours later. By then it had already gotten cool. So I further tested this product by putting in really hot water (steaming) and waiting. In as little as 4 hours, the water had already turned luke warm. This is definitely not designed for drinking coffee/tea hours after you make it. You have to drink it probably within a couple hours of making it. And if you have to do that, what's the point of a thermos?

This is a cute idea and would be better if it really had some power to suck up debris. Also, it would be better if it worked on it's own sensing dirt to pick up etc.

My son loves my vacuum so I had to get hime one. This is the only one I found that was good for his size. Low noise level which is good or bad.
He loves it.
Usually Amazon has been great at providing great deals, but according to the Little Tikes magazine I just got....Amazon is charging a full $10 MORE than the manufacturer's suggested retail. Little Tikes says it costs $14.99. Amazon is charging 24.99. I found higher prices on a lot of the other Little Tikes toys as well. Shop around...you'll probably get a better deal elsewhere.
My twin boys LOVE their Little Tikes vaccuums. They liked 1 so much (and fought over the one) that we had to get 2! These little vaccuums really work and they are very durable. You wouldn't want the motor any louder, because it is annoying enough as is. My boys are learning to help around the house, so I even consider this toy educational because it helps them relate to the grown-up world. I couldn't ask for a better vaccuum!
Bought this toy originally 7 years ago that had balls that roll around from the inside and they sure don't make them like they use to! Cheaper plastic, no wheels in the front of the vacuum making it hard to push on carpeting.

My almost 2 year old use to scream everytime I got our Vaccum out. A friend suggested I get her a pretend Vaccum so for Christmas I did. At first she was frigtened by it but after seeing one of her friends play with it she came around. Now everytime mommy vaccums Hannah does too. (Works really well for my yard needs.)

This is a great light weight cordless blower for small jobs. It doesn't have the power of an electric blower but but it is easier to handle. I've used it to blow off debree from my deck that falls daily from the large tree above. Not sure how well it will work for blowing leaves from my yard in the fall.
So far I have no complaints about the cordless blower. It has the power I need and is really light to use.
The battery is easy to charge with the included charger and gives me enough time to complete blowing off my driveway, patio and sidewalk.
All in all, the Earthwise CB20018 18 Volt Cordless Blower is a good product and I would recommend it to anyone that has an average sized lawn.

This product was as described - just what we needed. Apparently there are no retailers in Monmouth county NJ who sell this product, so that is why we bought it through Amazon. The down side - we opted for the free shipping, which was a mistake. Took way too long to get here, thankfully has been a rainy spring, so it worked out ok....
The Toro PVB worked exactly as expected in my lawn irrigation system. I prefer this style over the brass equivalent for ease of installation in a PVC pipe system. It is significantly less expensive then the brass model as well.
We recently purchased a house that had one of these installed as part of the irrigation system. When we moved in we discovered that it was old and leaking constantly. I installed a new one and now the irrigation system is functional.

Installing it was straightforward and fairly simple. You'll only need an adjustable wrench (a larger one) and some "teflon" tape. If the installation goes smoothly this should take you about 15 minutes or less. The only problem I had during installation was getting the threaded joints to seal. It took me several tries before the connections didn't leak. Even now, there is a very slight leak (an excruciatingly slow drip). I do not know if this is because of the fittings on the valve, or the threaded pipe I was connecting it to.

I would caution you--if you unscrew anything--to pay close attention to how the pieces need to be reassembled.

Two concerns: First, the valve itself is plastic. All other valves I've seen of this sort are brass, so I wonder how durable this valve will be. Time will tell, I guess. Second, while there was a connection and parts diagram in the box, there were no instructions for actual use. For example, the valve can be "winterized", but I've no clue how to do it because instructions were not provided. I don't know if this is not provided normally, or if I just happened to get one with the instructions missing.

Update on 7/2/2009: To answer my question on how long the valve will last, in my case it was only 6 months. I'd downgrade my previous rating if Amazon would let me. I replaced it with a brass PVB purchased at my local irrigation supply store.
The PVB arrived in a timely manner and was exactly what I was expecting with no surprises. Installed as easily as it looks (be sure to pay attention to the water flow directional arrow) and works fine.
This product was recieved and installed. I overtightned it during installation and it broke, Toro's Customer Service department sent a replacement part free of charge, this was great. It works perfectly.Toro 1-Inch Pressure Vacuum Breaker #53300

Terrific little device at a great price! I was having so much trouble diagnosing my car's flooding problem. This gauge told me everything I needed to know. Nice, big dial, easy to use. It wasn't easy to find a gauge that accurately measured in the low end of the pressure range. If you have an old car with a mechanical fuel pump, this is your gauge.

Two things kept me from giving it 5 stars. It took a LONG time to get here. Amazon is usually so fast. Second (and this is minor), It would be nice if it came with some kind of a case.
This gauge is supposed to be able to test fuel pressure but it's only good to 10PSI where most fuel systems run anywhere from 15-40 PSI. It's nice looking and easy to read but is no good for what it was intended to do.
I would not buy again but if the manufacturer had another model that went as high as 50 PSI, then I would buy that one instead.
For this money is ok .When I receive it was far from 0 .I reopen the plastic view window and recalibrated one internal mecanic parts .After all it works fine.
Very good product. It worked fine the first time, it comes with several fittings and it has a large very easy to read dial. It reads pressure as well as vacuum.
Item works as it should and at a good price. The dial size is nice and the length of tubing that comes with the kit was helpful. The adaptors supplied will allow someone to do what the unit is intended for. My only criticizm is the plastic material the adapters are made of. The plastic gets rather soft being around the engine. I do not believe this affected the testing; however, I was concerned with the adapters breaking when disconnecting them.

Overall, a good purchase and a good value.

We have been using the Portor Cable vacuums for about 17 years as a drywall company. We started with the previous model 7810. The new 7812 is a vast improvement over the old one, excluding the bags. The vacuum is extremely quiet, more so than any vacuum I have ever heard. It vacuums well and reliably. We abuse the vacuums a couple of days a week. They last about 5 to 7 years of rough service. It does filter out all of the dust very well and does not clog up. The automotive style filter catches any dust that gets by the bag. The vacuum does not have the air flow that shop vacs have. You will not find the cfms ratings on any web site. It will not vacuum up any large pieces with its smaller hose and attachments. Don't plan on using it for a wet vac. There is a sensor to detect moisture on the top of the vacuum bag chamber. You will get less than 5 minutes of wet use before the sensor cuts the vacuum off and you have to open it up to let it dry out before it will run again.
The bags on the other hand are a different story.
The previous model 7810 bags you could empty and reuse until they were wore out maybe 5 times. The glue to hold them together held well. The 7812 bags are glued with extremely weak glue. If you're not careful when installing them the flange will separate. The seam on the back of the bag often blows out while vacuuming. Even with extreme care dumping the bags is next to impossible without ruining the bag. I believe the new bags were engineered so you could not reuse them and they succeeded. We spend more on bags each year than the vacuum cost.

I bought this vacuum over a year ago because I wanted a quiet, powerful vacuum and was willing to pay more than the price of the various ones available at Lowes, etc. Well, it is relatively quiet, but my household vacuum has better suction. Additionally, the lack of standard types of hose end fittings is disappointing, and there's no place to conveniently wind either the power cord or the very long hose.
I've only had limited use of the PC 7812 so far. I recently bought a house and I promised myself I'd get a *real* shop vac. Not a garage sale canister vac, not a $75 big box specail, but a proper shop vac made to be used in a real shop!

I've had two incidence where I needed the PC 7812. The first was just your basic "clean up the mess I made after drilling lots of holes" and the vac worked perfectly...but also reminded me that it didn't come with any attachements (extra expense for that kit). I could have used a small brush to help with the cleanup...much like the nice one that came with my Dyson (that I promised my fiance I wouldn't use as a shop vac...though it's *very* tempting). The second incident involved a large pet water fountain that holds about a gallon of water, and was plugged up and overflowing due to cat fur stuck in the intake. I quickly grabbed the PC 7812 and poked at the carpeting and it seemed to be doing it's job, but it wasn't until I poked the hose into the fountain to suck up water and cat fur that I really saw the power of the Porter Cable. I swear, this little box sucked up a half gallon of water as quickly as gravity could pull the hose to the bottom of the fountain! It was EMPTY in seconds! I looked over at my fiance who laughed at the magic trick I just did, making a half gallon of water almost instantly dissapear.

So I'm impressed with the power, and cleanup was easy...but for the price I'm dissapointed that it comes without an attachment kit.
I'm glad I replaced my $99 Craftsman "6.0 peak horsepower" shop vac with this ($230 on sale) vac. The Porter Cable 7812 is much quieter, much less clumsy to wheel around, stores in half the space, has a filter-clearing gizmo, and other nice features. I replaced the flimsy 1-1/4 inch ID hose with a commercial grade 1-1/2" hose, and made adapters to fit standard 2" ID nozzles. The suction is good for most shop clean-up tasks, but noticeably less than the crazed suction power of the Craftsman 6HP.

Size: It is NOT 23-1/2" high as stated in the specs. It is 20-3/4" high. Width is 14-1/2". Length is about 20" plus at least 8" for protruding hose.

Suction: This unit is 9.0 amps versus 11.4 amps for my Craftsman "6.0 peak horsepower" vac. (Don't compare the stated 1.5 horsepower of this unit with the grossly inflated "Peak Horsepower" claimed by other shop vacs.) I'd say the suction and air volume are at least 25% less on the Porter Cable, but adequate for most tasks. The filter clearing gizmo helps maintain suction. Maybe it's nice that your loose fitting sweatshirt is not suddenly pulled 9" up the vacuum hose. On the other hand, when I am using a large nozzle to vacuum sawdust off my driveway, it takes just a bit longer.

Noise: It's not crazy quiet, but it's much quieter than my Craftsman 6HP shop vac. It's noisier than my (pretty quiet) Kenmore indoor canister vac, but it's not a grating sound and you won't feel like wearing ear protection.

Bags&Filters: I can't see spending $100 a year for bags (over $4 each) so I use the filter only. A filter cleaning gizmo dislodges crud when you pull a tab on the outside of the vac. I use this all the time. I hope it won't wear holes in the filter. Other vacs don't get de-clogged till they've lost 80% of their suction because it's too much mess and hassle. The top-mounted flat filter is more convenient than the cylindrical filters on most shop vacs.

Hose Replacement&Tools: The flimsy 1-1/4" ID hose provided is perfect for hooking to your belt sander or other hand-held power tools. A larger commercial grade hose is better for vacuuming floors, etc. Less air resistance. Less insult to your manhood. You'll need to track it down (get it with swivel cuffs), find or make adapters, and work out misc issues. (I used 1-1/2" ID hose. 20% more diameter means 44% better throughput. 1-1/2" PVC couplings (from the plumbing or electrical aisle) fit nicely. Some rubbery PVC tape from the plumbing dept will pad out the couplings to fit standard large (2" ID) shop vac tools available at Home Depot. 1-1/2" female threaded PVC couplings fit the 1-1/2" swivel cuffs nicely.)

Hose Diameter Confusion: If you are putting together a 3rd party hose&tool solution, beware that advertised info on diameters of hoses and adapters is often absent or misleading. This unit comes with 1-1/4" ID (Inside diameter) hose. The OD (outside diameter) is 1.56". The tapered cuff is about 1.39" at the midpoint. For so-called 2-1/2 inch hose that is standard for larger shop vacs, the inside diameter is 2" and tapered interconnects are about 2.275" at the midpoint. For 1-1/2" ID hose, the OD is 1.91" and the tapered cuffs are about 1.79" at the midpoint.

Power Tool Outlet - Trigger: Seems nicely designed. The owner's manual has loads of electrical precaution boilerplate but avoids the one thing you'd like to know: How many amps can you draw from the tool-trigger outlet? Theoretically, 15 amps minus 9 amps consumed by the vacuum = 6 amps. You might get away with more, but I don't think you'll be using this outlet with your table saw.

Transport: Very easy to wheel around and carry. 7" rear wheels with small front swivel-casters are the perfect design. Easily carried with top handle as the vac is only 14-1/2" wide. You'll suddenly realize how much you hate your traditional shop vac with the 4 protruding swivel-casters.

Other: The beefy 22.5 foot cord is water resistant 3x14ga. with 3 solid prongs. This vac feels like quality. The head is assembled with stainless steel screws, for example.

I am generally happy with this product. It has good suction, it's relatively quiet and easy to use. I like the auto tool turn on feature. Three things could be improved -1.The hose is small diameter[1.5"]and seems flimsy 2. There is only a hook on the back of the machine to store the long power cord 3. There are no attachments included with the machine and the attachment package is very expensive [$61.00].

Hi,

I recently bought and installed the Sunpro 7978 Vacuum Gauge in our car to promote good fuel economy and conservative driving habits. If you would like to do the same, you may want to consider purchasing one. This is a reliable, good quality gauge on sale at a very reasonable price. My only comment is that I could not find a white faced gauge at the same price.
The way a vacuum gauge is used is this: Simply drive in a manner that keeps the gauge needle at as high a reading as possible, without being a nuisance to other drivers. For example, with the engine running, the automatic transmission in gear, and the brakes on, my gauge reads at about 17 inches of vacuum, and the needle is stable (does not move back and forth at all). With the transmission in neutral, it reads at about 20 inches (in the USA, 15 inches = 15 inches of mercury, but that is not important for our discussion here).
If I were to observe my gauge reading while accelerating rapidly (i.e. "punching it") I would notice that my gauge reading would fall to zero (0) inches, meaning that I was using fuel at a very rapid rate and that my fuel economy, measured in miles per gallon would be bad! However, if I adjusted my driving pattern so the needle stayed between 5 and 10, I would be achieving much better fuel economy. Now, there may be a time when "punching it" might be necessary. But, economical driving in these days of increasingly expensive gasoline might be important to you, and having a vacuum gauge handy on or around your dash board might be just the thing. And by the way, while driving on Interstate highways, even at 70 MPG on level ground, I find that my gauge reading stays above 10, which is a good thing! However, if you drive in hilly or mountainous areas, you will notice that driving up-hill will cause the needle reading to go down, which you cannot help because the engine is working harder. Yet, on average, driving safely at a slower legal speed than you are accustomed to may help you drive further on a tank of gasoline!
Also, I mentioned that the needle on my gauge is "steady." That is an indication of engine operation quality. If the gauge was vibrating, or even moving slowly back and forth, that would be a sign that I need to have my car checked for proper ignition operation (may have a bad spark plug, etc.), or even for any of a number of engine mechanical problems such as a burned engine valve.
For more information on the value of having a vacuum gauge, there is good information posted on the Internet. And, if you are not mechanically able to install one, a trusted mechanic can do that for you in less than a half an hour in most cases. If you do it yourself, just make sure that you are connected directly to a source of engine manifold vacuum for your gauge to work properly.
And, if you have a car with a turbocharger, you should consider a "vacuum/boost" gauge since your engine will not have a vacuum reading at certain speeds, but will have turbocharger pressure in the manifold, instead.
This is a solid, general purpose vacuum guage at a very low price. I purchased three, and all are holding up well.
