I had a stack of the hypo-allergenic bags before purchasing these bags, and I wasn't sure if there would be a noticeable difference. I choose these because they were simpler and I wanted a bag that seemed to have a smaller carbon footprint. These do a great job.
Very pleased with the product and the quick delivery. Cannot find these in stores around here.

I got this along with the versus and hate it.... the high power motor blows the dust away before you have a chance to vacuum it up...the catch needs to be cleaned out often and the pet hair attachment does not work...don't recommend at all!!!

This is the first hand-held vacuum I've ever owned, and I have to say that it does what it's supposed to very well. Cleaning hard to reach places and dusting blinds, for example, are a snap. BUT: the fan exhausts to the side, so unless you're very careful it can wind up blowing the dust and dirt already on your floor all around the room!

If this were re-designed to exhaust out the back it would be just about perfect.
I don't have a pet. I use this for places which are hard to get with my upright vacuum cleaner. It works great.
I bought this vaccum cleaner is for my dogs and cat. They use to fail a lot of hairs everyday. Even I use normal vaccum cleaner to clean the floor, I still found that is not enough. This vaccum cleaner is very power and really can eliminate the hairs.
I paid under $30 for this little hand held vac and I have to say that it cleans cat hair better than anything I have ever seen.

Here's my example:
My cats tend to sit in my front window and peer out all day long. One of them having long gray hair leads to the insides of my curtains turning from white to gray. Unfortunately, when I travel for my work (2 months at a time) I'm only home two days a week and so the less pertinent household chores (like vacuuming curtains) fall to the wayside. At the end of these periods, cleaning the cat hair off can be complicated because there is so much concentrated in one spot (the cat prefers one spot) that it actually looks like gray woven material rather than a few hairs lying on top of the curtain. This little vac takes care of it in about half the time that any other vacuum or pet hair removal device has ever done. And, it seems to remove just about every hair.

I would say, as many others have said, that it's a little loud. My cats tear through the house in the opposite direction any time I turn it on. But, for the price, you can't expect all of the options and I'd rather have the cleaning power than the quiet. After all, I can clean my floor length curtains in under 10 minutes.

This product works as expected and for more than half the price of the "Kenmore" brand how can you go wrong! I will purchase again in the future.
They are AWESOME! Better then the supplied. They held just as much dirt, at a fraction of the cost.
Best Bang for the buck and very good filtration. I refuse to buy Sears bags at twice the price for half the count.
I order these bags because they are a lot less expensive than Sears'. But they are not the quality of a Sears bag. Sears is HEPA and very thick. These bags are thin and not micro anything. I wanted the HEPA vacuum because my wife has COPD. However, she has never used it (Guys, NEVER never buy a vacuum cleaner for your wife). So I get the less filtering bags, which are fine for me.
I was very glad to see I could get something like this on Amazon. The price was good, the vacuum bags were delivered quickly and were as expected. Thanks!

I've purchased this battery a month ago and so far no issues. Hopefully it will last longer than the original!
My original Roomba battery died after 1 year and 1 week. This replacement battery works great so far at about half the price and I don't notice any difference to the original battery. I don't expect the life time to be much less than the original either. So this is a great value!

This product arrived quickly -- in approximately 3 days. It was easy to install. It has worked great for about 3 weeks now. I haven't timed the robot's operating time to know if I'm getting extra time out of this battery, but it sure seems like it.
Excellent product! Works well with my Roomba 530. I got more than 120 mins out of this battery. Just hope the battery life is long.

I've actually purchased two of these over the years. Had one for at least a couple years and it was wonderful. But I noticed that it started pulling my kids' hair now and then which, naturally, would upset them. And when they don't enjoy getting their haircut much in the first place, this is annoying. So I thought it was because it was old, so I bought a new one. And right away it was doing the same thing. So then I thought it was because I was going too fast. But it still will give a quick grab and pull on the hair now and then. I don't really know why this is, but it's the only thing that prevents me from giving it 5 stars. It's worth buying, but only because it's the only hair trimmer with vacuum built into it on the market.

We were skeptical that this haircut kit could replace trips to the barber. My husband is partially bald and knew just how to advise me on what attachment to use on each section of his head. I'm not skilled enough yet to go solo, but his haircuts have come out looking really good and the vacuum has worked flawlessly so far. We are very pleased that in just 3 months of using it instead of going to the barber we saved more than the cost of the kit!
Wow, this haircut really does the job. After using it on me there was nothing on the ground. The vacuum container can take a lot more hair than everybody can imagine. Finally found my haircut kit after few months chasing:). Highly recommended product - you won't be disappointed!

Great product, now i can do my stairs and giant sectional couch with ease, no more restricted movement, I highly recommend this product.
I ordered the Hoover Remanufactured Upright Self Propelled Vacuum and the hose is too short to vacuum my walls, so I ordered the 20 ft. extension hose, and too my suprise, I can now clean everything in my house. Highly recomended.
I couldn't believe when I received the option to share my opinion of this product, I had just cut off the vacuum- amazing. Anyhow, that hose is, just like it says, 20'- however, it is really tight and hard to pull and vacuum at the same time and will always pull the vacuum cleaner over with a crash! It marked my wall with a huge black mark, so lay it on the floor before starting, should you buy! If you purchase to do stairs, and your staircase has landings it will rub against your railings, something to think about. My opinion is maybe still better to use a handheld vac instead, plus the vacuum does not come with a wide bare floor attachment, so it's not good for that either, oh well!
This hose is great for cleaning ceiling fans and baseboards. It is a little too long (even compressed)for the vac though, nowhere to mount it properly. Also, the vac likes to fall over when you try to stretch the hose out as it has a lot of spring in it.
Too bad Hoover's engineers did not think the overall sweeper product through well in the first place. This "extension" is obviously an afterthought, and it came too late, so it could not be fitted properly onto the sweeper the way the sweeper was already designed. This hose REPLACES the existing hose -- it does not just add on to it, so you lose the 2' or so of the original hose that could have been used. Also, as other reviewers have noted, this hose is not very flexible in terms of stretching out. It stretches only a little, and any further pulling on it just pulls your sweeper over.

That being said, once you figure out how to use it with the limitations, it is better to have the extra 8' or so that this hose really does give you, than to struggle with the original hose. (Although, when you use the sweeper as a normal upright, you have to put the original hose back on, or else somehow work around all the extra hose hanging off.)

I love this machine! It's as loud (if not louder) than a vacuum cleaner and takes longer to clean the floor but the floors are cleaner and it takes no effort whatsoever. You can throw away your broom and dustpan and mop and bucket (or swiffer) and get cleaner floors.

I bought this hoping to keep my wood floors clean, but it's not "hard-core" enough for me with a messy husband, son, and several dogs. I ended up scrubbing my floor by hand and just using the suction to get the extra water up.

I feel this isn't strong enough to do a thorough scrubbing, and the cleaning solution chamber empties too quickly. It may have been a better machine if I could turn the suction off to scrub, then turn it on to vacuum the water up, but as the brushes and vacuum are on together, it isn't worth it. I work harder using it.

This machine is OK. I bought a floormate many years ago and I prefer my older model (I'm not sure of the exact model, but looks like the 3044).

This machine cleans pretty well, but doesn't pick up the cleaning solution half as well as the 3044. Not a big deal, but I do need time to let the floor dry. Also, I couldn't consider using this machine for a spill cleanup.

I'd highly recommend spending a few more dollars and going for the other models with the spinscrub.

I also vacuum my house with my hoover vacuum prior to using this machine, so I never had any misconceptions on the vacuum/clean feature of the cleaner.
I have bought two of these machines. One for my daughter, which I use constantly on her floors, and one for my daughter-in-law. Both machines work great and really do clean the floor well. However, my daughter's machine would slowly leak clean solution if it was left in the upper dispensing tank. (I'd read about this in one review, but thought is was just an odd occurance--wrong!) The answer was to never leave solution in the tank. However, after only 9 months of use, it began leaking all the clean solution as soon as you filled it. Now, it cannot be used to clean the floor at all. This is really disappointing. I've tried to find a replacement tank, but Hoover doesn't make it anymore and no one seems to have one. Hoover has no answer for the problem other than buying the newer model. My daughter-in-law has never said anything about hers leaking, and is still using it regularly after 18 months. When it works, it really does clean the floor well, but after this experience, I am unsure if I want to invest in another one.

Works well. I chose this one because it runs on electricity and I wouldn't need to be near my computer to vacuum my sewing machine equipment. It has good power and does the job!
The way it is described in the catalogs and on the box and the way it is packed, you would think you would need to keep small children and animals out of its way, but that is definitely not the case. The other reviewer said that it was worthless when it is clogged. Well, if that is case, it sure doesn't take much to clog it. I used it on one not particularly crumby keyboard and I literally could not tell if it had ANY (I mean ANY) suction. You would get more suction putting a straw to your mouth and sucking.
Worst accessory ever! DON'T BUY IT. It doesn't have power to blow or vacuum a smallest piece of styrofoam or paper. It'just doesn't work, it looks nice, but is utterly loud and gets clogged in a second, I mean if you somehow manage to scratch some dust of your equipment.

I purchased this vacuum cleaner from Costco 4 years ago. Due to the high price I expected the materials to be of high quality. We have had several plastic pieces break off of the machine that make it impossible to use. The warranty has expired (mine was only covered for 2 years), so as far as I'm concerned it was not worth the price.
I thought my old vacuum was doing a good job! Wrong! This Dyson Root Cyclone DC 14 is putting it to shame. I've used Bissel, Eureka, Dirt Devil&Kirby(the cadillac back in the day)&none come close to the cleaning ability of the Dyson. Spend the extra money, mine came with a five year warranty. I bought this item for a very simple reason. I wanted something light and convenient and effective to keep my coffee hot through the early morning. I get up around 4am and like my coffee hot and ready until around 8:00 or so.

I don't like to keep the pot on the element as it tends to make the coffee taste like toilet water.

I used the Thermos for the first time today. It kept my coffee piping hot for 7 hours. I was very pleased. No, that's not the 24 hours Thermos says. But one can hardly believe all he's told. After the seventh hour, the coffee began to lose it's heat. It wasn't cold. But it was getting less hot. So for my needs, it's perfect.

I bought the black one and purchased it from The Nerds for around $33. At the time I bought it (before the holiday) that was about as cheap as I could find. I got very good service and fast shipping from them.

The Thermos is very good looking. It's slim and lightweight and easy to clean. I got a simple sponge with a long handle to keep it fresh and clean.

So if what you want is something convenient and good looking to keep your drinks hot for up to about 7 hours, I highly recommend this.

As to pouring the coffee --- you have to unscrew the top not quit all the way. Then just pour it. No need to take the lid off. I would like it if you didn't have to even do that. But that would probably not be possible and still keep the coffee hot.

I gave the Thermos four stars rather than five simply because it didn't keep the coffee hot as long as the company claims it will. Admittedly, I didn't expect that it would.

I bought it as a vaccuum to reach into the tight spaces i couldn't get to with a rake or blower. It simply does not work. The intake tube constantly clogs. Even if the leaves are totally dry it sucks them up so slow that it just seems like a waste of time. And on the rare occassion when it does work the bag fills up in 2 seconds. The thing is heavy too!! I only use it as a blower now. It's an ok blower.
The price was great and the product lived up to its advertising. Thanks to everyone who rated this product. You're opinions helped me make a good decision.
This product is before for my height 5'4" and light enough for me to carry around. It has very deep powerful blowing action that actually the yard looked aerated when I got done.
I was actually surprised by how good this blower/vacuum works. It is as powerful as a gas blower and the bother of dealing with a cord is offset by less noise and not having to deal with mixed gas. The vacuum works great too and it came with about a 15 gallon bag. Switching from blowing to vacuuming is a snap too. If you can reach everywhere you need to with a 100' cord, then I would recommend the LH4500
I wanted to love this Leaf Hog. For the first day I owned it, I did love it. The honeymoon is now over though, and not everything is quite as rosy as I thought. Here's where we stand:

Pros:

2) No significant problems with clogging
3) Lightweight, easy to maneuver
4) Easy to switch between blower/vacuum
5) Inexpensive

I primarily bought this to help me turn leaves into leaf mulch. It does that quite well. I now have nearly 2 cubic yards of well-shredded leaves to use as mulch and throw in the compost pile. I thought it was simple to put together, and it's easy to operate.

Cons:

1) Collection bag is of very poor quality
2) Motor is obnoxiously loud
3) Some parts don't fit well
4) Vibration is excessive, and can cause health problems

Bad news...the collection bag developed a hole and some tears the second time I used it. The bags run $15-$20 or so. If I had to replace one each season, I might not be so upset. But at this rate I'll be spending more on bags every year than the initial cost of the blower itself. Unacceptable.

And this sucker is _loud_. It's not really a problem for me since I wear good hearing protection while operating machines like this, but I do worry that I'll annoy my neighbors if I use it frequently.

While it was easy to put together, the plastic tube that attaches to the motor housing fits poorly. Lots of dust and some other larger debris flies out of the mating surface where the pieces don't meet tightly enough.

The biggest negative of this product _for me_ is that the vibration is excessive. What's the big deal if it vibrates too much, you ask? Besides being uncomfortable to hold, it can actually lead to problems with the nerves in the hands and arms. There's something called Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) that can develop with repeated usage of tools like this. I'm not exactly sure what happened in my case (I don't believe I have 'HAVS'), but twice when I used it my hands and fingers became numb for an extended period of time. By "extended period" I mean 2-3 days. Now I just set it on the ground next to a pile of leaves and guide the leaves into the tube. Works fine.

If I can find the receipt, I'm thinking about returning this due to the defective/low-quality collection bag. If I do so, I might try the similar Toro Ultra 12 Amp Variable Speed Electric Blower/Vacuum With Metal Impeller #51599 which supposedly is much quieter -- and hopefully vibrates less as well.

I don't think this Black&Decker is a bad product. It works great, and it does so without a lot of pizazz or polish. Given the price, I can't really complain about how it performs. Obviously something about my physiology isn't compatible with the vibrations it produces, but I don't expect this to be a problem for most people.

With all the good reviews not sure what I've done wrong other than use it for wet pickup which it says it can be used for. After 2 months of little use my filter has literally disintegrated.....hopefully haven't damaged motor. Will try foam sleeve next instead.
I'm using this filter in my wall hung shop vac.Because this vac is used to collect sawdust from my small band saw and belt sander, it clogs fairly quickly, but the system works well and is very compact. Over the past eight years or so that the vac has been used this way, I found that by using a piece of 1/4-20 allthread, a few nuts and washers I could fit two filters together into my shop vacuum. This provided a 100% increase in filtering and lets me extend the time between service cleaning the vacuum tank and filters. I order the filter four at a time which gets me free shipping from Amazon, so this works out to be a pretty good deal. Four filters will last me three years or more depending on use.

No problems, works as well as the filter that came with the vacuum cleaner than purchased.
As the title says, filter only.. don't throw away that base piece quite yet. Little disappointed that the picture is not honest. Sears routinely runs a by one, get one 50% off and the price is the same.. 8 bucks and they include the base.

I still buy it from Amazon for the convience.
This is the perfect shop vac for the garage as it conveniently mounts on the wall bracket included and features a very long hose to easily reach from the wall into your car for vacuuming. For jobs outside the garage, you can simply release the vacuum from the wall bracket and take it anywhere you need it. I have never replaced the filter, but have frequently knocked out alot of the accumulated dirt/dust.

Just got this vacuum today and am already in love with it. We have a large 16 gallon vacuum for the shop that is very loud and cumbersome to move around. This little vacuum is very quiet by comparison and I love the long hose that reaches easily to my work bench. Just exactly what I was looking for. Have it connected to my power saw with a plug that turns them both on at the same time and I am more than pleased.
I'm a recent owner of the Shop Vac Hang Up Pro with the 4.5HP motor. There's virtually nothing on my garage floor (dry) that does NOT clog up this pathetic little (in diameter) hose. I'm incredibly frustrated and disappointed with this purchase. Stay away from it. Naively, I thought that the motor was the most important component and didn't even think about hose diameter. Stupid me. Stupid Shop Vac. Idiots.
Excellent product as far as portability. Love the wall mount feature, long cords also making using it an ease. Suction tube is too narrow and is susceptible to clogging. Otherwise an excellent product.
I like that this hangs on the wall and is out of the way in the garage. The power is good for most applications; car clean out or garage vacuuming. Easy to operate, easy to use.
This is working great. I needed something light weight for the pantry, laundry and walkway, so I could vacuum when needed. The tank hangs in the corner and I can easily reach all the areas I need to clean up, just carrying the light weight hose around. This is great!

Received 1st carb. and it was nothing but trouble, it was bogging when accelerated and would idle very hi and could not be adjusted. Since it was under warranty I sent it back and received the other one a few days later. It was also sticking on hi idle, but it would run great on the road so I decided to keep it and fixed problem by filing down linkage on auto choke side of carb. Carb now runs great and has not given me any problems since. Thanks Amazon for the quick and easy return on first product.

You will find this book is loaded with information on all aspects of power tube technology. Everything from tube design, manufacturing, circuit applications, tuning, performance measurements, cooling, handling etc. is all covered. It is not an inexpensive book, but is worth every penny. I would especially recommend it for anyone involved in maintenance of high power AM/FM broadcast transmitters.
This is a very expensive book, although well worth it. It goes
into factors determining tube lifespan, management of filament
voltages applied to thoriated-tungsten tubes,etc. A wide variety
of tubes ranging from triods to tetrodes and pentodes were
discussed. Magnetrons and travelling-wave tubes were also discussed.
Vacuum tubes technology, a must for electronics technicians and engineers only 30 years ago, has limited its action to a few applications. One of them, and for artistical reasons, is audio amplifiers. But the main application nowadays, is RF high power amplifiers. Radio and TV transmitters, for example. One single tube is able to handle the whole power driven by the final stage of the transmitter. That is sometimes an adventage for engineers. But anyway, there still are thousands of transmitters in the world that are using high power tubes. I work on one of them, and this book is the ONLY ONE, and I mean this, that has allowed me to know the deepest secrets of this technology that, of course, was never taught to me this deep in college. By the way, the historical background the author gives us is very amusing. Read the book and you will know why.
