I have owned Hoover vaccums and carpet shampooers for 12 years. My old Hoover Steamvac broke, with a little help from my 2 year old. I just received this one today, and it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I would change is that the recovery tank is a bit of a pain. The reason being that the handle flips back to hold the lid on. When you brush up against the furniture with the machine in use, the handle flips back up, leaving the lid free to come off. Otherwise, A greast purchase, and a POWERFUL carpet steamer!
This is my third steam vac in about 12 years. The first two were Bissels and were very hard to use. They were hard to push, were constantly breaking belts, etc.
This Hoover is the best. I just cleaned my entire 3500 sq ft. house with it-all bedrooms, stairs, area rugs, etc. It did a fantastic job. The best thing about it unlike the others that I have had, is it got out of the carpet almost entirely all of the water that went in. My carpet was dry by the time I was finished. I have never seen so much filthy water that was coming back out of my carpet. ( and I vac every week) The carpet in one bedroom had a bad odor that I had tried repeatedly to get out of the carpet, from a pet urinating. The odor and any stains are entirely gone now. The house smells clean and fresh. I had thought we were going to have to replace the bedroom carpet, because it was so bad. I even got on my hands and knees and smell nothing but fresh smell.

This is an awesome steam vac, well worth the money. Stanley Steamer usually charges me around $150.00 per year to come out and do a couple rooms. This paid for itself the first time and I was able to do my entire house. What I really love about having my own steam vac is that I can use it whenever I would like without the headache of having to wait half a day for someone to show up and do it for me.
This carpet cleaner is amazing!!! We have owned several cleaners in the past. Most recently a Bissel - after the second trip to get the Bissel it fixed and then to only have it braking again, we finally gave up. And I started renting a rug doctor to clean our carpets at least 2 times a year. We have three pets and then my husband and myself, and we live in the desert with all the dust and mud that tracks in from outside - and honestly we are not messy people. I am kind of a freak when it comes to our carpets and keeping them clean. 3 months ago I rented a rug doctor and cleaned all of our carpets, and within the couple of weeks it was starting to feel like I had never cleaned the carpets. I decided to try to get another cleaner.

I found this Hoover on Amazon and read the fantastic reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I tried to find it in a local story but had no luck. I ordered it last weekend on Amazon and it was here before this weekend started - quick shipping. I cleaned all of our carpets yesterday and they look fantastic! My husband said (several times) that it looks better than when I rented the rug doctor and better than when we had the Bissel. BRAVO Hoover - you have made an awesome product! The cleaner is very easy to push around - almost like a vacuum. The attachment was simple to use to clean in those hard to get to spots. And the whole thing was very simple and quick to rinse after I was done. I am very impressed with the whole thing.

This produce it truly an A+ for me.
The product works very well - you can see all the nasty black water being sucked up out of the carpet as you go. It used a little more detergent than I thought it would, but after going through about a half bottle I started diluting it by half and it seemed to perform equally well without a lot of sudsing in the recovery tank. It does use and suck up a lot of water, but that's why it works so well. The carpet was just damp to the touch after cleaning and dry in just a couple of hours. A good home carpet cleaner - but still work. If I had a large home with a lot of carpet it would just be too much work to do all at once - but that would be the case with any carper cleaner. With all that said this is a good workhorse at a fair price.
I just purchased this vacuum today to clean a filthy area rug at my front entrance. It was either try one of these to see if it works or throw out the rug. The rug is staying. Except for one area of dirt/stain on the bound edge of the rug, it came clean. It is very easy to use. I used at least 1/2 of the soap to clean the rug(only 4 x 6). I am sure as I get used to using this I will be more knowledgeable. The rinse only feature is great as leaving soap in the rug was a concern of mine. To insure quicker drying you just vacuum back and forth without pressing the wash or rinse button and you can see the water coming back out. I was informed by a former Bissell owner that the V shaped return of this vacuum is a great feature she wishes she had. Without it, I guess clogging is a problem. I definitely recommend this product which I purchased on sale for 169.99 at Kohl's.

These filters are so high locally, and keep going up. I waited as long as I could using the old one in my vacuum, but after putting in the new one, its like giving my vacuum new life! What a difference a new filter makes! I bought two, no telling how much these things will cost the next time I need one.
My vacuum came with one HEPA filter,and after many uses decided it was time to replace it! The Hoover replacement HEPA filter I purchased from Amazon.com was the exact same filter at 1/3 the cost at a local retail store.
It is simple to remove for cleaning, or to replace. The filter is SUPER effective in collecting animal dander, dust, and carpet fibers; I cannot believe how much is collected in one use! It is amazingly easy to remove in order to clean for reuse, over and over. What a difference this filter makes in keeping our carpets clean, and I believe being kept clean of animal hair, loose fibers and dust, must give our carpet a longer life!
This filter is a generic repalcement part and I thought I was ordering a genuine Hoover part. The generic filter did not properly fit my Hoover vacuum, so I contacted the owner and he sent me the a genuine Hoover filter at no extra cost. I shipped the generic filter back to him and have been extremely happy with the Hoover filter he sent me the second time. While the part was not right the customer service I recieved from this company was excellent!! My advise would be if you are unsure if the product you are ordering is correct for your vacuum call the owner he is more than willing to help you with your order. Great Customer Service!!

This attachment is great. I clean the recessed light fixtures, the baseboards, the ceiling fans and dust with it. I know it says it's for blinds, of which I have none, but it does so much more. It's a soft brush so you don't have to be afraid to do the TV screen or any other delicate area that needs dusting. It's great.
Tried to use this brush on my blinds and it did absolutely nothing - still had to clean them with a cloth. Wish I hadn't wasted my money on this!
This brush is a great addition to the Dyson vacuum. Very effective for dusting blinds, drapes, computers, electronics, TVs, walls books, furniture, etc... all those places you usually have to hand dust. I have always thought that the ideal vacuum brush would have the characteristics of a feather duster. This is the closest thing to that idea.

I bought the Dyson DC25 Ball and because I have 2" blinds throughout my house I decided to order the dusting brush. Thanks to C. Vaughn's Review I learned that the connectors included by Amazon do not fit my DC25. A call to Dyson's service rep informed me that by ordering directly from them I would be sent the right connector for my vacuum...$36.94...more, but worth it if it works. Must congratulate the service rep, Shereen, who patiently helped me set up my vacuum which wasn't all that easy for me, disabled, 74 and not very mechanically savvy. She deserves 10 stars. I gave a 4 star review because I just now ordered it and am hoping, with fingers crossed, that it will be a 5 star winner! Just thought the above info would be helpful to someone else. Will write an update later.
This brush is softer and finer than the one that comes with the machine. It has two holes. It seems very effective on blinds. I also use it on most hard surface because it covers more area. Is it worth the money? Is the value there? I think it's a little expensive; that's why I gave it 4-stars rather than 5.

I stumbled across this album searching for an Aaron Sutcliffe album, but this caught my eye instead. Subspace normally has very good groups. So I gave it a listen and the first song I heard was "Your whole life is leading up to this." I fell in love instantly. I don't think there are enough words to explain how beautiful this album is. I've always been a sucker for powerful lyrics and synths.

WORKS FINE IF YOUR COLLECTOR IS STRONG ENOUGH TO PICK UP THE STUFF FROM THE FLOOR.
This works fine as a floor sweep if you secure it to the floor. As a hand held wide-mouth dust collector, it leaves a lot to be desired (and a lot of dust). I purchased mine for 6.74 from Rockler and it is less than 8 at WoodCraft, so the Amazon price is way high for this item.
I agree with the previous reviewer that this is an excellent "tool" to clean up all of the dust and scraps that have would up on the floor. The unit it self is sturdy and should stand up to lots of use. But that is not all it can do.

I found one very cool use for the floor sweep. Since I don't have a sanding table with built in dust collection, I tried something different. I clamped the floor sweep to my bench top and sanded my project in front of the sweep. All of the sanding mess was sucked up into the sweep and away into my DC system.

I definitely give Jet Floor Sweep 1003 and my Jet DC 1100 a big thumbs up.
The Floor Sweep is an excellent"tool"to clean up all the dust that escaped from the DC system and made it's way onto the floor. The large size, about 24"by 6", with a 4"outlet, allows for a quick and easy cleanup of the shop floor. Just use it like a regular vacuum cleaner. The plastic housing is heavy duty, will stand up to a lot of use, and abuse.

Include a blastgate to the floor sweep, then you can turn it on and off when needed. It is somewhat too large and bulky to clean the bench tops, but does an excellent job on the floor. It is worth setting up a branch on the DC system just for this floor sweep.

This is a great product for anyone with allergies, pets or who lives in a dusty area.
When I recieved my bags in the mail I was bummed to find out that they were not the right kind for my vac even though my model was listed as one of the compatible vac's in the description. Oh well... I guess I will stick to buying my bags in a physical store from now on.
Took me a long time to find a canister vac. Finally through Amazon. After using my Hoover, the carpet feels almost like new, fluffy and clean. Only I do have a Sheltie with long hair. I do clean the power head before every use, as it does fill up with hair. I think that would happen with any vac with a power head. Other that that it works good. Only have had it for 1 1/2 months. Had a small Hoover that was great! and it lasted at least 20 years, wheels fell off, but still the best vac that I ever had. I will always use a Hoover. Through Amazon, it was a great price, and had it within a week.

It's plastic and joins my two pieces of 4" hose. Does what it's supposed to. I don't see a difference between mfgs so make sure you get it on sale.
This is a well made splicer. Looks and feels solid. Fits very nicely.
If your dust collection hose is at an end, and you still have a machine to travel to, then this splice is your answer. Both ends were at 4", the hose fit nicely, and the wire clamps attached snuggly.

The splice allows you to use up all the hose, no matter the length of the run.
The Jet 4-Inch Splice is used for connecting flexible hose to make longer lengths. The Splice connect full sections of hose and allows to the user to utilize short sections of hose. The outer diameter is 4 inches. Slightly undersized, it easily fits inside hose.

This product is amazing. I use it everywhere. The sachet packets are especially useful inside the car. I'm a smoker and the packets neutralize the inside of the car so well non-smokers really appreciate not having to put up with the stale cigarette oder. I highly recommend this product.
With four cats (and their litterboxes), plus allergies, I've tried a number of air fresheners in the litter box rooms and in the musty basement. Oust, Febreze, Lysol -- none of them worked well or consistently, and all of them left the air smelling at least a little medicinal and/or plain awful. Since I was skeptical and these aren't inexpensive, I only tried a small jar of these crystals in the worst-offender room for a couple of months. What a difference! Fresh-smelling air 24/7, no discernible fragrance, no constant spraying or irritating "scent stories" to deal with. I've since come back for the 64-ounce jar, and I'll be putting this stuff all over the house -- in closets, litterbox rooms, the basement, the kitchen -- pretty much any room with non-neutral air! Highly recommended.
I am amazed at the effectiveness of this product! I will be researching the different types that Fresh Wave produces and will probably purchase more.
This product really absorbs strong odor. The large jar is more economical as refills for smaller jars that can be placed throughout the home.
