Having a cover for the sewing machine, in my opinion, extends the life of the machine and parts...it doesn't collect as much dust or moisture from the air, which can cause all kinds of problems. This cover also helps get it out-of-sight when company comes and aids in portability.
Brother 5300 Universal Sewing Machine Carrying Case

This case is fine but the sewing machine (Brother XL 2610) does not fit securely into it. It requires that I save the styrofoam that the machine was packaged in when it came. I wanted a cover that fit over the machine easily for storage for short term. This case isn't it.
Functional, but not attractive, the carrier serves it purpose. It was inexpensive, but looked more professional in the photos. My home has little storage space with small, crowded closets, so the encased sewing machine will need to be placed in a corner of a room. I now need to find a way to "hide" it. Additionally, the wide table attachment which came with the sewing machine (and which is essential to balance and stabilize its very light weight) does not fit into this carrying case, so must be housed elsewhere. Again, a storage issue for me.
I purchased this product for my wife because we travel a lot and she takes her surger with her. The case is well built and allows other small items to be placed around the surger for storage. It is light weight but strong. I am so happy I found this product and highly recommend it.
When my old machine died on me I was fit to be tied. With little money and hating to have to read and learn a whole new machine...I settled on the Brother. It arrived in no time and was soooo easy to use. The instructions were simple and really not much change from my 49 year old machine. I used it for two days and put it in the case I also bought and put it away until next time. VERY HAPPY - THANK YOU "BROTHER"!

I used this product before several times with the hoover vacuum floor cleaner. This is good and there are no issues. The smell is also great. Just need to do cleaning "atleast once" in a week to look the floor neat and clean.
I absolutely love the Floor-to-Floor cleaner for the Floormate! The newer solution smells really good and cleans like a dream.
Floor care product is fine -- FloorMate does not allow enough cleaner liquid to come out.
I used this cleaner in my floormate on laminate floors and it did a great job.
After going to Lowe's, Home Depot, Target, K-Mart and Meijer's to look for the Hoover Floor-to-Floor cleaner, I gave up and ordered online. If you live in Chicago like I do, you would understand what a blessing it is to have things like this delivered to your door without having to battle the weather. Thanks, Amazon.com.

This is an updated model Spotlifter with longer battery life. Works the same as the old model - just add solution and clean. Can be stored with solution in the tank so it can be grabbed in a hurry.

The tank on our old unit finally cracked after four years and this unit was cheaper than replacing the tank. We expect to get at least four years use from this one! At $10 per year it is a bargain and much easier to use on small jobs than our full-size Bissell.
I purchased the Bissell SpotLifter a couple months ago because with 5 cats and 2 dogs, I needed a quick, efficient machine to pick up the "messes". My husband purchased another small carpet cleaner for me many years ago, but it wasn't quick or efficient. I found myself spending more time setting up and disassembling the carpet cleaner than actually cleaning. The Bissell really hits the spot! It is cordless, easy to fill, easy to clean, and I'm inpressed with its suction. I did use another reviewers idea, and I load the Spotlifter with clear water only. The solution goes in a regular spray bottle that I use to pretreat the stain. Then the Spotlifter takes the mess away! I love it!
Works well on stains. The sooner you get to them the better. The instructions tell you to not over saturate the surface you are cleaning and it works better if you don't.

(Perfect.)

I stumbled across this album searching for an Aaron Sutcliffe album, but this caught my eye instead. Subspace normally has very good groups. So I gave it a listen and the first song I heard was "Your whole life is leading up to this." I fell in love instantly. I don't think there are enough words to explain how beautiful this album is. I've always been a sucker for powerful lyrics and synths.

I didn't even know this product existed until my wife asked me about them. These protective skins keep my 2 year-old's greasy fingers off the Sesame Street DVDs and that's just what we needed. The product was shipped very quickly after purchase and there were no problems at all.
This is one of my favorite products, too bad we can't get it in any stores. I really liked it for the protection needed on your dvd's and cd's.
Well these things seem to work on audio cd's in my ps2. I only tried one though. It definitely doesn't work with my guitar hero world two game (ps2). I makes loud spnning noices, random bumbs, and if I tilt the console vertically, even makes the desk shake...

I always use Disc Skin for every discs that are important to me, from music until game, its really help to protect against scratches, but never use this on PS3 game disc, because it will stuck on the inside PS3 console or other Disc Player that using "SLOT IN" instead of "TRAY".

We bought this because we thought it would be a good between-vacuum for those times when we don't want to get out the larger vacuum but have some pick up to do. Our little kids leave all sorts of food particles and whatnot around and we just need something to quickly clean up after them.

Because of the small slits through which all the dirt has to pass to get picked up, it doesn't really get a lot of the dirt/food/etc. picked up. So we have to vacuum again anyway.

Also, we have only used it about 5 times and somehow the latch that holds the top part onto the container went missing. So the whole unit is in the trash now.
I liked the price, I can't lie. I probably got the value for the price I bought this at.

But, if I could do it over again, I would NOT purchase this. The vacuum does not have much strength at all. I probably should have read more reviews before purchasing this.
i like the light weight of this stick cleaner. it needs more suction power though. i mainly wanted this
to suck up dog hair off the hardwood floors. it takes several sweeps across the same area to suck up
all the dirt and dog hair. i would not buy this product again.
I bought this to clean cat litter off of carpet squares and bare floor tile. At first, it did what I bought it for, but just barely. After about two weeks, it began to act like it was full even though it wasn't and would leave a pile of cat litter when shut off. Maybe the filter was clogged, but it looked fine me.
It's a great size for our one bedroom apartment. I didn't need anything "industrial strength." It's not loud at all and it easily fits in the closet. It would also be nice for quick pick ups for larger spaces. My only complaint is the dust bin - I'm allergic to dust, so really my husband's complaint is that he has to empty it.

After 1 month of use, this unit earns my highest recommendation. I researched air purifiers for about a week before buying two IQAir units, one with the odor filter (Pro-Plus), and one without (Pro) to help with allergies and asthma symptoms that my family suffers from. Both of them work absolutely perfectly, with significant symptom relief within the first week of use. The packaging was very secure, with each unit contained in double boxes similar to what you find with high-end stereo equipment, including thick styrofoam inserts for cushioning. The unpacked units were sparkling new and clean, with an inspection page that detailed the performance at each of the five individual speeds. The manual was nicely organized and easy to comprehend.

These are sturdy units that are somewhat heavy, but come with a convenient handle recessed on the top, as well as caster wheels to roll the unit if you need to move it periodically. The manual recommends clearance of at least 12 inches on all sides for optimal performance, so keep this in mind for placement in your room. It is noisy at the highest setting, but works very effectively at quieter settings 2 or 3 in my 13' x 16' room. I also use an IQAir unit in a 20 x 20 room, and it cleans the air very well at setting 3. My son noticed so much improvement in his allergies and breathing after just two days of use, that when I moved the unit to another room for a night, he begged me to return it to his bedroom. We went on vacation for a few days, and he said that he could not wait to get back home because he missed the IQAir purifier.

If you are comparing the units with and without the odor filter, even the one without the odor filter leaves the air smelling fresh and clean. In fact, for the first week, the one with the odor filter had a bit of a peculiar smell to it, which might have been coming from the odor filter itself. Unless you have a really significant odor problem, you can save the extra $100 that you pay for the "Pro-Plus" over the "Pro" model. The units look identical from the outside, and you can order a retrofit assembly from the IQAir if you later want to convert your "Pro" to "Pro Plus." Each unit has a remote that is slightly larger than a credit card, which is very convenient if I want to change the setting after I get into bed.

In summary, these IQAirs are well worth the price, which isn't as much as it seems after you factor in the yearly filter replacement cost, which is lower than most other brands. I wish that I had discovered IQAir years ago, before wasting my money on other air purifiers. I am so impressed that I am about to order a third IQAir to use in my office. I have previously owned the following air purifiers, none of which came anywhere close to my IQAir units: Oreck XL Air8D, Oreck XL 4000, Holmes (various sizes), Honeywell (the largest big round one), Sharper Image (Ionic Breeze). I hated cleaning the Oreck units, which were overpriced, and their replacement filters were also very expensive on a yearly basis. The Orecks also left a lot of dust all around them. The motor burned out on my large Oreck unit just after the two year warranty expired. The Honeywell filter was also very expensive, and the unit was extremely noisy. The Holmes units were ok for very small rooms, but had to be on the noisiest high setting to notice any air cleaning, had flimsy construction, and required frequent filter changes. The Sharper Image units were basically useless, as they did not improve the air quality or our allergy symptoms; they went back to the store after three weeks.

Every morning I would wake up coughing up something. I tried sleeping at two different houses and I would still wake up coughing. After using this for one night the coughing decreased the next day. By the end of the first week I would wake up without coughing. I was skeptical after my previous air purifier seemed to make matters worse but after one month I love it.

I've also used the fan timer as an alarm in the morning incase I hit the snooze button to many times. So if your half asleep and the fan kicks on at level six it will catch your attention. But it is not loud too loud to wake me from a dead sleep.
I bought this air purifier after reading several rave reviews all over the web. After much consideration (mostly due to the price) and research, I decided to purchase one for my apartment. I was not disappointed. Delivery was prompt and the product arrived in perfect condition, it was packed very well and came with great documentation. I also noticed when unpacking the unit how well built and solid it is.
This air purifier works great and I immediately noticed a difference in air quality, so much so that I have even been sleeping better. My apartment is prone to exhaust fumes and I also have a couple of pets, so dander was a concern to me. Based on how much better I have been feeling lately, I would say that the IQ HealthPro is doing it's job.
My only minor gripe would be when the purifier is in on any setting over 3, it is fairly noisy. Just be mindful of placement and you will have no worries.
My siblings went together and bought this unit for our parents five months ago. Dad's cancer, an aggressive type of lymphoma returned unexpectedly with a vengence. Because his spleen was removed five years ago he has a very low immune system. We were concerned about infections setting in - especially thru the flu season and chemotherapy period. He has survived the flu season without even a cold! My mother put the unit in the bedroom and left it on continuously. One day she decided it was not needed on warm sunny days. After only one night she was miserable with a stuffy nose, raspy throat and headache. She just laughed as she thanked us again for the air purifier and said that she didn't "KNOW" wheter or not it was helping Dad, but that it sure did make a difference for her.
I had tried a less expensive unit that I saw on television first - but it didn't really help much. Bought this unit and it has helped with my sleep / congestion at night. Good buy - although not cheap.

This book is controversial, but from what I can tell Bruce likes it that way. The first half of the book is the section where "myths" are debunked and "truths" are revealed. Now, I'm an audiophile and I disagree with him on many things, but there's merit to some of the things he says. He's paricularly vitriolic against the snake oil salesmen of the high end audio world. I read the section, agreed with some things, disagreed with many, absorbed what was useful and moved on.

My other complaint is that a good part of the book is spent by the author patting himself on the back and mentioning again and again (and again) that he's an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER and that he's been AWARDED A PATENT for his OTL circuit. Now don't get me wrong, these are admirable acheivements. But the way he goes about it gets annoying at times, almost to the point of self congratulatory gloating.

But... BUT! Bruce is to be admired for having the guts (and the generosity) to put the schematics of his very high performance designs out there for anyone that buys the book to use. Heck, he even has his own website and forum where he helps people with their projects! The projects are explained with great detail, complete with parts lists.

What makes this all the more remarkable is that Bruce is also an audio equipment manufacturer and some of the designs in the book are products that he still sells today. The OTL (output transformerless) tube amp has been very positively reviewed by some of the most "snooty" of the high end magazines. This is his bread and butter and he still puts it out for you to build yourself if you wish to.

I may disagree with Bruce, but I respect him. I recommend this book highly.
Audio Reality is a worthwhile investment for anyone interested in DIY valve audio. Half of the book is devoted to an examination of 6 amplifier designs created by the author, and includes construction and testing advice, parts lists and schematics. The most interesting of the 6 projects featured are the author's well-known"grounded-grid"preamplifier and his 80W/channel output transformerless power amplifier. Any DIY enthusiast who is looking for something a bit more challenging than usual would find these designs fascinating.
The first half of the book is a series of articles which set out to debunk some commonly held opinions amongst audio enthusiasts. Whilst the author is not totally dismissive of these ideas he is clearly sceptical about most. He does, however, provide sound electrical and engineering justification for his views and confines his harshest criticism for the more extreme"myths".
The only fault I found with the book is the author's style, which is a little self-congratulatory and indulgent at times, however that does not detract from the sound advice and excellent designs.
The book is for anybody who is in search for the"audio-truth"and is willing to make the journey with his/hers own feet, with a nice bag of solid tools to exorcise magicians and witches along the way. The author strives to make you aware of three things: 1) You and you only is the one who has to judge your equipment and be happy with it. 2) You need clear, unambiguos, real-world informations to sharpen your critical mind and be able to choose equipment free of myth and magic. 3) High-end audio does not necessarily mean high-end cost. To me, he made all his points. You may believe that a extraordinary expensive cable is an audio revolution, but if you are honest with yourself, after reading this book you have to ask yourself WHY... Knowledge in the audio arena helps you to have more fun, less fears, and a fuller pocket. The second half of the book is devoted to several tube projects that are interestingly detailed with design choices, but near to impossible to realize if you are not skilled to translate an electric scheme into real parts and wire routings; definately not for the beginners. I would have much liked a wiring and components layout to complement the circuit analisys. These projects are not theorical, Rozenblit actually commercially builds and sells what is detailed in the book, so in more than a way he publicly expose his ideas, engineering style and convinctions to anybody who cares to check... in my opinion much more than can be said of the great majority of competitors. See for yourself.
This book is an exceptional book on audio reality. It really deals with some of the most common myths regarding"high end tube audio". I really loved to see someone tell the tube audio newcomers what it's all about these silver capacitors / cables and all the rest of weired and crazy part selection game.

Although I know that one can have exceptional good sound from a few watts on horn speakers, Bruce Rozenblit is certainly true with his designs when it goes to normal speakers. I have heard the OTL design and must say, that it is a very impressive and excellent sounding amplifier.

Must read for anyone starting to build his own tube audio equipment!
This is the best nonmathematical introduction to audio electronics in print today. It provides a clear elucidation of basic concepts and a much needed corrective to the many myths that have been fostered by the subjective press over the years. The book is a bit schizphrenic to the extent that it is roughly half explanatory text and half hands on projects, but the projects do support the conceptual presentation admirably. Rosenblit is a manufacturer and advocate of tube electronics, an area that is rife with just the sort of myths he is at pains to debunk. I wish that he had spent a little time on attempting to develop a rational argument in favor of tube electronics for high fidelity applications. There are many of us who prefer them who are not in the lunatic fringe. A reasoned summary of vacuum tube advantages would be welcome. All in all, an excellent piece.
Written by an industry insider and manufacturer, this book gives the consumer essential knowledge about the workings and operations of the vast array of accessories and components available in the marketplace. By providing the scientific basis for how they work, the reader is equipped with the knowledge needed to weed out false claims and make economical, low-cost purchases. Emphasis is on spending as little as possible to encourage people to become involved with audio. All explanations use simple analogies and are easy for the novice to understand. No math is required. Fundamental electronics theory is presented in a comprehensible fashion and written specifically for the non-technical reader. In addition, common marketing practices are shown so the consumer can recognize unscrupulous sales tactics. Many widely held myths are debunked.

In the second half of the book, the author demonstrates the innovation and superiority of his products by publishing all of his designs. Complete schematics, parts lists, circuit descriptions, and checkout procedures are included. The hobbyist can build six high-end commercial audio products as follows: The Transcendent OTL in both 80W and 25W versions, the Grounded Grid preamp, the Super Compact 150W amp, the Cathode Follower Single-Ended amp and a new phono stage. All design techniques are revealed. Nothing is held back.

These bags are good but you must be sure to pull the tightening cord as firmly as you can otherwise dust and debris blow out as you are vacuuming. I have inhaled more than my share of dust. Use a pliers to be sure it's tight when you set it up. Otherwise, they are great to use.
Needed replacement Lawn Vac Bags, these worked great, got two which should last 10 years. Good value from Amazon.
Bag works but it does not have stitched in velco like the original one (which the mice ate through while it was in my shed for the winter). It comes with plastic tie which is a pain to use when switching between blowing and vacuuming.
The bag is a replacement for the original bag who's zipper broke. The bag came pretty quickly and was immediately put into use. So far it is holding up just fine.
My original bag was poorly made. The zipper was cheap. This bag is better made than the original.

I purchased this cleaner to help with the daily chore of cleaning the pool, love the Aqua-Bug and its seemless wandering of the pool!! The only draw back is that if you have "wrinkles" in your pool it will hinder the "bugs" movement or even cause it to become "confused", but dont worry your kids will love watching it swim around.
It's actually a very good product. Unfortunately, it depends on the pool's filter pump for its suction, and my pump wasn't strong enough (primarily because of a too-small hose adapter in my side wall.

It's fun to watch it move around the pool. It did not seem to cover my entire pool bottom, but it got close.

My friend absolutely LOVES his.
This is a great little vac. It hooks up to your filter intake or skimmer, and vacuums straight to your filter - not a bag with holes that doesn't catch fine particles. We use ours in a 24' above ground pool made by Intex. Yes, one of those temporary pools. It would work in any above ground pool! The most important thing to have is a good filter system. The filter supplied by Intex is not very good. This vac works best with a sand filter. We have a Hayward Pro Series system with a 1.5 hp Power Flo Maxtrix pump. The combination of this filter system and vacuum has saved my summers. I spent the first year with this pool spraying out the filter and hand/pole vacuuming only to see the finer particles come back into the pool through the return. It took all the pleasure out of having a pool! Now, I hook up my vac (3 min), turn on the filter system (1 sec), and walk away - it's awsome!!! This little vacuum even handled our pool opening this year, which included a large number of leaves and a ton of very fine particles. Unlike the super expensive Pool Rover, this vacuum does not move systematically around the pool to clean in a specific period of time. It moves in ever-widening circles, then goes straight for a bit and starts circling again. It can be a little vexing to see it turn just before it gets to something that you want it to vacuum up, but if you give it time, it will get everything. We put ours in and let in run for about an hour, when we come back the pool looks great! Aqua Bug, Wanda the Whale, and Diver Dave are all the same vacuum with different housings.
I have a 24 foot round above ground pool with a 52' inch depth. The bottom is not perfectly smooth (some wrinkles and divets), but the product does a great job in about 2 to 3 hours. I plan on running it every couple of days to clean and stir up the water at the bottom of the pool.
I couldn't be happier with the AquaBug. It does a great job of cleaning my pool quickly and quietly. They say it takes 10 minutes to install, but I did it in about 5. The biggest problem with the bug is that it looks like a toy and is fairly inexpensive, so people might not take it seriously. However, it really does the job. It came with enough hose for my 15' x 30' pool, and it never gets stuck on my ladder. Added bonus: the random path it takes through the pool is hypnotic to watch. If you get a lot of leaves in your pool, I recommend getting the optional leaf-catcher to keep your filter from getting clogged.

it fits and work in my vacuum theEureka Optima Lightweight ( the yellow one) though the DCF14 looks different from the DCF10 filter that came with the vacuum. the DCF14 is yellow and has no piece that fits down the pipe and its bigger. plus there are really no instructions on how to install it. but it is not that hard.
i've read several reviews and alot of people said they put a nylon over the filter so i bought some cheap kneehighs and tried it on this filter that keep the clogging down alot it stops the big stuff from getting in the fins of the filter so i dont have to wash it out like the DCF10 so far its works good. i bought two DCF14 thinking i would have to change them quickly like the DCF10 but its been about a month now and i'm still on the first one which i think has a lot to do with the nylon

This replaced the orignal filter perfectly and helped tremedously with the odors in the "flea market" vaccum that I bought.
First of all, I love my vacuum cleaner. It is a Eureka Optima. It is small and compact. I have had it for at least 3 years. The only problem is that it does not have a self-propelled feature, so it can get a little difficult to push back and forth. But I view it more like an exercise. My old filter is smelly. I rinse it every so often, but it does smelll. This new filter works great! It fits perfectly. The item arrived on time. Everything is cool. Now that I know this works, I will change my filter more often in the future.
The whole process was very simple. I rec'd it in a timely fashion and the product is very good.
Fresh smelling, better working vaccum with addition of this filter. Cheaper than at a store too.

These are very nice bags for the money, even tho the Amazon.com ad said I would get 21....I only got 12. After writing to the company, they responded saying it was an error....even then, they are still a good bag. But if the ad says you are getting 21 bags, forget it....you will only get a dozen....still, a good value.
considering on the website they want to charge around $16 including shipping for 3 miserable bags, i find the price and quantity amazing!

I needed replacement bags for my Panasonic Canister Vacuum Cleaner&could not find them in my small town. How great is it that I could order these online&get them so quickly?! Name brand product, not a knock-off generic brand that doesn't fit the vacuum. Would recommend this product&company to anyone!
The C20-E bag is for vacuum types MC-CG4xx and is probably well suited for those machines. You will see this if you enlarge the item image.

The Panasonic MC-CG973 is a larger vacuum and uses the larger type C-5 bag. The MC-CG973 came with one type C-5. I ordered the Amazon recommended bags when I ordered the vacuum. Type C-20E arrived and were obviously the wrong bags. Sears sells a variety of bags for this machine some are available from sellers on Amazon. Look for Kenmore 5055.

I returned the bags unopened for a refund. Amazon gave full refund, Thanks.
do you want me to wax eloquent about vacuum bags??? anyway, they're the only and necessary replacement for my panasonic vacuum, and perhaps yours. sexy, packed in plastic, traditional but with a hip flair...we just love 'em.
They work very well.
I went with a product made by the manufacturer because I didn't want any problems. And there were none.
It's important to note there are FIVE bags per package. Thats not obvious when you first look at this page. And for a little over a dollar a bag they are a good value. Since they are made by the people who made the vacuum they fit easily, and don't leak at all.

I haven't had this product for long so I can't report on it's long-term durability, but I am very pleased with the quality and useability, especially considering the price.

This package says only OEM, but the pump is branded Mityvac and I believe that it's sold under that name as well. The product appears to be designed and sold by Lincoln Industrial of St. Louis, MO. It is manufactured in China. See www.mityvac.com This set looks a lot like the model MV7000 with one fewer right-angle bleeder adapters. Note however that the MV7000 is rated to produce 25 PSI pressure. The OEM 25136 I received from Amazon can only develop 12 PSI (measured on two separate guages)

The set comes with a nice selection of adapters for attaching the pump lines to various vacuum ports and even some plugs for plugging hoses you've temporarily removed for testing.

Another accessory that's worth mentioning is a collection vessel that allows the pump to be used for bleeding brake systems or other small hydraulic control systems. It also has two different right-angle adapters for attaching to common automotive bleed fittings.

What I didn't expect is that the pump has a second port that can apply pressure. This could be useful for testing controls the require a pressure signal rather than a vacuum signal and can supply up to 12 PSI. By the way, the vacuum port can produce a 25"Hg vacuum as advertised.

The pump is very easy to operate to draw a vacuum or apply pressure, requiring only modest hand strength. It has a trigger that can be pulled to release the pressure/vacuum when you're done testing. The release is "all at once" and would be difficult to modulate if that was important. Drawing the vacuum can be done with reasonable precision. Applying pressure is less precise since it's developed by the strength of the pump handle's return spring. But can be modulated if necessary by taking small strokes with the pump.

Another unexpected plus is the user manual. It contains 23 well written pages that describe how to use the tool as well as diagnostic proceedures and some theory of operation for PCV valves, EGR valves, Spark Delay valves, electrical/vacuum solenoids, thermal controlled vacuum switching valves (called PVS, TIC, and DTVS by Ford, Chrysler, and GM respectively). The manual also has a section on brake bleeding as well as cautions when working with ABS systems. It even has a separate section dealing with motorcycle brakes and bench bleeding master cylinders. For some reason there are an additional three test procedures specifically for Lawn Boy mower primer bulbs, fuel inlet valve, and tank shut-off valve. The content is repeated in Spanish, French, and German for a total of 70 pages.

Even though I have a pretty good general understanding of the systems discussed in the manual, I actually learned quite a few tips and tricks that I didn't know. It was well worth the read.

One thing to note is that the documentation specifically prohibits the use of this pump with flammable liquids and gases. I suspect that this is more for safety and legal reasons than anything else. But, who knows, maybe the pump seals wouldn't handle the solvent power of gasoline or alcohols. Air and brake fluid are officially supported and that's what I bought it for anyway.
