Your coffee will be hot all morning, and probably into the afternoon with this mug. I have found coffee hot 5 hours after I poured it. Hot. 2) It doesn't leak. Yeah, that's what they promise, but the surprise is that the clever and more importantly well constructed lid does not leak. You could store it upside down in your important files cabinet if you needed to. It's a great mug. Also, I think it looks cool. It fits my cupholder in my truck. It's easy to clean. Those are all nice too. HTH I'll keep it short and sweet. This is one of my favorite recent purchases. Bought one in green and one in stainless. This mug will not leak. I tried holding it upside down, on its side, and shaking vigorously. It also keeps my coffee hot for 3+ hours. Everything I could ask for in a travel mug. Looks great too. I mainly use this spill proof tumbler to keep liquids cold (on a hot day). As a mail carrier on the street for several hours, this is a great mug to refresh your thirst with cold liquids. The main difference between this mug and the TV advertised mug,(besides keeping liquids cold) is it can fit in your personal cooler (standing up) along with the ice packs. That TV advertised mug, is too tall for closing the "cooler" lid. In regards to hot liquids, I'd be very careful about putting excessively hot liquids in this; the cold liquids will work just fine. Another great thing about this tumbler is the push button feature that will keep any liquids from spilling on you as you drink. One last tidbit, if you put a few ice cubes to start, that will keep the liquids cold even longer. Enjoy!!! Best travel mug I have ever had. Coffee stays hot till its gone. Only problem is getting the top on right so it won't leak but once you do it won't spill at all. I will buy another one. This is a pretty, sleek and seemingly sturdy mug. This one does the job. it picks up all sort of yucky baby foods. Cleaning is easy. The best thing i ever bought. It works fine on hard surfaces. We have hardwood thru out so limited carpet use. It picks up almost as well as our vacuum except for the edges. light, maneuverable and works as we expected. I'm sure it won't clean a wall to wall as good as a vacuum but it picks up the big stuff just fine. The exercise to the trash is much welcomed due the appreciation we have for this machine. We have 3 large long hair dogs and it cleans our carpets wonderfully. As allergy sufferers, after vacuuming, the sneezes and runny noses seize. The ball makes it very easy to manuever around furniture and for a "vacuumee" who is disabled, this vacuum is the easiest and best worker and very well worth the extra money. We tried it out at Best Buy first for a "test drive". This is definitely a good idea if you aren't sure about spending over $300.00 on a vacuum. Even the sales personnel there said they've had little to no returns on the Dysons as compared to the other brands that attempt to mimic their brand. This is absolutely the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. I have two cats and a dog who all shed quite a bit. Previous vacuums picked up the dirt, but only partially removed the animal hairs. My Dyson does a wonderful job and makes my carpets look like new. I've had this vacuum cleaner for several years now and I have never had one problem with it. Dyson came out with a newer model, but this one works like a charm, so I won't buy a new one yet. But when time comes for buying a new vacuum cleaner, it will definitely be another Dyson Animal. I don't love vacuuming but with this machine - I don't hate it anymore. We have a two story home and two dogs and after struggling with a cheaper vacuum, it was heaven to use this Dyson. I've had a Dyson in the past and wasn't impressed, so it took a lot for me to go back to the brand but I am glad that I did. I find that the ball technology makes maneuvering the machine easy and although others complain about the reduced size of the collection chamber, it is not so small that I would chose a model without the ball. I bought this to replace an aging Kirby vacuum. When I vacuumed a room that I had just finished with the kirby I had to empty the canister twice. It has the best suction I have ever seen in a vacuum. If I have one criticism it is the hose for the hand tools. It is way too stiff and you have to hold the vac with one hand while you use the hand tools or you will pull the vacuum over. I borrowed my friend's DC25 and LOVED it. I don't get excited about ANY kind of housework but this thing cut my vacuum time almost in half. The reasons being are 1) I didn't have to move all the dining chairs around to get under them and the tables and 2) that roller ball cut down on the "back and forth" motion required to get around a tight corner of a coffee table, couch, or ottoman. HUGE DIFFERENCE! I've got a dinosaur Hoover upright that works really well but it takes almost 2 hrs. to vacuum a 1900 sf single story house and it's so loud I feel closer and closer to a hearing aid each day I use it. By spending the difference between a loud Hoover and a quiet and fast Dyson, I figure I'm saving money by not needing the hearing aid so soon. I'm going shopping today for my Dyson DC25 Animal! I love my Dyson Animal vacuum but will continue to have my carpets professionally cleaned. I used this product on a college apartment that had 2 years worth of dirt tracked in from college kids and a very dirty lab mix traipsing through it all the time. The carpet had been ground down to a texture that seemed more like solid plastic than carpet. I had tried carpet cleaners at various times but nothing seemed to work. I would have had to pay the apartment complex a lot of money to replace the carpet if I couldnt find a way to fix it. I spread Zorb on the carpet and really worked it in, waited until it dried and vacuumed it up and WOW! The carpet wasn't perfect but it really took the years off. The color of the light colored carpet returned almost to its original hue and whats more amazing is that the texture of the carpet actually improved! It felt so soft and all the little bristles of the carpet were standing up again like it hadn't had years of being stamped down flat. If I had used this every month or so as carpet maintenance from the beginning I would have kept the carpet looking brand new. Whenever I've used it since then I've always been happy with the result. Maybe it didnt work for some people because they didnt work it into the carpet? Also, I saw this product bothered a users allergies. I can see how this could happen but I tend to have awful allergies and am miserable using most carpet products (especially the powders) but this one didnt bother me at all. I would recommend smelling or testing the product before using it on your carpet if you have allergies just in case. Great product. I've used other similar types of carpet cleaners and this has to be my favorite. I loved the smell...reminds me of wet tea leaves, very light clean fragrance. My carpet was not soiled when I used it, however, the Berber carpet appeared much cleaner after vacuuming. Even my family noticed a difference. It did not bother my chihuahua's sensitive nose. They did however, really free up some much needed space. I was a bit concerned reading reviews of other combinations of these bags, but finally decided the price was worth the chance of them not working. This purchase was primarily for the X-tra large bag, I've an oversized sleeping bag (roughly width of a full size bed) that no matter who rolled it up always took up the space of 2 normal bags. After fighting the monster into the storage bag and getting it sealed, I was pleasantly surpised to find the vacuum reduced the overall size to about 2/3 the volume of a normal sleeping bag. Reports that the seal does not hold so far are not proving true. I now have three bags that have been sealed for 7 full days and there is no sign of leakage or the seal failing. I did discover that the tab used to seal the bag really must be placed carefully to ensure that it places pressure correctly to fully seal the bag. The battle with the sleeping bag demonstrated that the bags are fairly sturdy. I had been concerned about either splitting the seam of the bag or having inadvertently torn a hole in the plastic while trying to get the leverage to get the sleeping bag down past the "fill" line but neither occurred. It received extra heavy duty working many recovery jobs after Katrina here in New Orleans and it was an amazing tool. After that punishment it began running overspeed and the repair was almost as much as purchasing a new one so I bought new Fein vac. (The same thing happened with the repair of my Fein Multimaster tool.) They have improved this model greatly over the first one. My only complaint, still no tool storage. When this one dies I will buy another one. Bud Logan I use the 9-11-55 weekly in my garage and around the house, vacuuming areas around the deck, garage, and cleaning out fire places. The hose detaches quickly and the vac is relatively light, so it's easy to transport up and down stairs. The 9-11-55 picks up much more than our regular house vac, and with its long hose is great for hard-to-reach places. A kit of accessories is available that lets you extend the hose, add a foam filter for water work, or add one of several adaptors for upholstery, crevices, floors, etc. I use these accessories frequently. Yes, the vacuum, bags and accessories are expensive. But they are high quality and hold up under frequent, heavy use. I've used "Shop-Vacs" in the past and none come close to the Fein. In this case, you do get what you pay for. Very powerful. Very large filter that won't clog quickly. The base is stable. No provision for storing hose or attachments. This is a great little vacuum. I can't believe thay I wasted over a hundred bucks on this collection of nonsense! The letters are poorly written and there is no useful instructional information either. Don't believe the positive reviews of this book, they're obviously written by the author. "Steal These Secrets" by Clayton Makepeace is somewhat better - at least it's useful. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your money on Kilstein's awful book. Paul McCartney famously said once that he would say to John Lennon, 'Now, let's write a swimming pool.' and they would write a song that would generate them the cash for whatever they wanted. A well-written sales letter works the same way, and can produce spectacular profits for a copywriter and his clients for years and years. Mr. Kilstein has put together a selection of profitable ads that can be used as templates for your own sales messages and he has chosen ones that work. And he explains how to adapt them to your purposes. So, don't compare this to the price of a regular book. It isn't. Compare the price to the price of a swimming pool or a new car or something else that you will buy with the proceeds. If you don't have a product to sell, then don't buy this book. If you do, then you can make your money back by applying one tip. I don't think people fully appreciate what this book is all about. The brilliant concept around this book is that you have the ability to see, documented, successful, million dollar sales letters. And you're invited to swipe the content to create your own sales letter. It doesn't matter if YOU like them or how they are presented, the fact is BUYERS do like them and respond to them. I wish I could afford to hire Harlan to do sales letters for me, but this offers me a look over his shoulder. I think that is the next best thing! Many, many successful marketers that I know personally follow Harlan. One dear friend of mine, Armand Morin, has a saying... Success Leaves Traces. You can see that failures leave traces as well, you can see evidence of that in some of the reviews here. Now you have a chance to Get It! So I encourage you to do just that. I'll break this review down into two parts: what I liked about Steal This Book by Harlan Kilstein, and what I did not like. What I liked: Catchy title, cool graphics on the cover and a few interesting sales letters I'd never seen before. What I did not like: It's hard to tell who this book was written for, people just getting into the field of advertising copywriting, or experienced pros looking to expand their swipe file. If you are new to the field of copywriting, you may be impressed with the author's authoritative tone and writing style. But if you are new to copywriting there are many other (IMO) better places to start learning, such as Tested Advertising Methods by Caples, Scientific Advertising by Hopkins, and How to Write A Good Advertisement by Schwab. Pick up those three (plus Ogilvy on Advertising) and study them, and you will have gained an excellent education on direct response copywriting. And you can buy all of those books for less than half of Steal This Book. If you are an experienced copywriter looking to expand your swipe file, I think you will be really disappointed with what you find in this book. The content is weak. The examples provided are just not that well written. Pros already know the best way to build a top shelf swipe file is to buy a product or two from the big mailers in a specific industry and collect the promotions they send you in a box. This approach allows you to hold each package or sales letter received in your hands, which is a different experience than just seeing a picture of it in a book. Plus you get the added benefit of seeing how winning pieces evolve over time as previous controls are replaced by news ones. The price of this book is a joke. You can get more and better letters and instruction for FREE just by going to Bencivenga Bullets or Clayton Makepeace on the web, or saving your junk mail. I'm a direct response writer and have made $100k+ freelancing for over a decade, and I think it's morally reprehensible to try and get this much money from beginning writers. Author doesn't seem to have even one original idea -- the book's name isn't even original -- Abbie Hoffman famously wrote "Steal this Book" more than 30 years ago. Kilstein isn't interested in helping beginning writers, just in stealing from those trying to learn how to make it in the biz. SHAME ON HARLAN KILSTEIN!!!!! The number one goal of every business is to increase the return on investment of each marketing dollar. Whether you want to generate a huge response from a newspaper or magazine ad, a direct mail letter, or an internet site, the most important element you need to know is "What really works?" Every time a business experiments in testing, it costs money and may not produce a return. Finally, there's an opportunity for the ordinary business to become extraordinary. Harlan Kilstein has produced a collection of proven sales letters that have generated millions of dollars in sales for both online and offline companies. Kilstein's sales letters are pure gold; one recent online letter brought in $110,000 a minute. Its aim is to offer an improved understanding of the operational behaviour of the high voltage vacuum gap, with particular reference to the physical origin of the prebreakdown current-voltage characteristic, and the subsequent breakdown mechanism. It introduces a range of new insights into the fundamental physical processes that operate in an "open" vacuum gap, i.e. one that is not bridged by a solid insulator, and suggests a number of diagnostic techniques that could be used to investigate these processes. In particular, it highlights the important role played by the anode which, hitherto, has conventionally been seen as a relatively passive partner in the vacuum gap. A chapter has also been devoted to a discussion of the primary, particulate-based, field-induced electron emission mechanism which is widely believed to be the precursor of gap breakdown. Finally, consideration is given as to how these new insights might influence existing technological practice, and lead to new innovative approaches for improving the insulating performance of a vacuum gap. The book has drawn extensively on the material contained in the author's 1995 book "High Voltage Vacuum Insulation: Basic Concepts and Technological Practice", and has been written in a conceptual style that makes it comprehensive to a newcomer to the field. Had 1/2 acre with many trees (60 plus) now have 1/3 acre with several. It did as good a job as any homeowner line of tools could be expected to. No tears in the shoulder bag although 99% of the time I use the leaf collection system and no noticable impeller wear (of course I didn't try to vacuum any items that it wasn't intended for (rocks large twigs etc.), Silly old me, I try to use a tool for what it is intended (leaves). Will I buy another? You bet I just ordered one today, and if it only lasts several years I'm still way ahead, at $54.00 Amazon) no tax and free delivery. Use it for what it is and take care of it as you would all your other tools. Earlier reviews complained about difficulty in finding a button for mulching. I guess they were right; I couldn't find one. The instructions just say the leaves will be mulched as they go through the impeller. After vacuuming a bunch of leaves and dumping them into a recycle bin, I couldn't really see any evidence of mulching. The blower and vacuum work very well, however. Don't make the mistake of trying to vacuum leaves from loose dirt; you'll suck up a lot of dirt. Blow the leaves into a pile and then vacuum them. Still, I like this tool. It's much quieter and easier to use than my gas blower. I got two falls out of this leaf-vac before the little male-plastic bar that holds the fan/hand unit into the blowers female part broke as I cleared the 20th jam of the day today and tried to hook the unit back together. Before it broke...it was heavy even empty and bulky to maneuver. It jammed very easy at the narrow hole from the machine to the bag. The bag was always flying off my shoulder no matter how I adjusted the strap. I give it a positive review for the blowing action. It blows grass off the driveway and walkway good. When it wasn't jamming it sucked very dry loose leaves up. It jams on bunches and god forbid there is a little moisture on them. Won't buy a B&D replacement. I ordered this blower by black/decker, started it for first time-burnt out after few minutes. Returned and got a replacement of same item-same problem again. Bought a toro from home depot and is working fine. This product is a typical, yet usable, B&D design. The handle-mounted power cord lock is somewhat difficult to use, but works fairly well after the cord is "locked" into a type of holder that could be improved. The product does what it is intended to do, no more, no less. It is a powerful vacuum and works very well with high amounts of dry leaf material. The attached bagger is somewhat cumbersome to use and empty, produces copious amounts of leaf-dust, but overall, this product works quite well in vacuuming lots of leaf and yard material. With the Black&Decker Leaf Hog, you can clean up both the deck and the lawn with one reasonably priced and easy-to-maintain machine. This blower/vac is electric, so it requires an extension cord and an electric outlet to run, but there's nothing else to set up or maintain. The 12 amp motor has considerable power for its size, more than enough to clear driveways or decks or blow off sections of lawn.
