Like most reviewers here, I love my Roomba 550 (to the extent that a man can love a Horseshoe Crab, that is), but feel disgusted by the poor durability of the spinning side brush. The first 'arm' of the side brush broke off after just two weeks of use. Within two months, my Roomba was completely 'armless'. So I ordered this 3-pack Roomba 500 Series Side Brush one month ago.

The new brush has only three 'arms' compared to six in the original design. This has alarmed some reviewers, who thought they have received counterfeit replacement parts. But according to the official iRobot web site, the three-arm version is indeed the new design. I was initially skeptical of whether three arms are better than six in terms of durability. But so far the new brush seems to be working just fine. At least there is no sign of any arms breaking off (yet).

Latest News Flash:
Apparently iRobot has received massive complaints about the series 500 Roomba side brush, and is offering a replacement brush to each owner. Just go to "irobot dot com slash support", select your Roomba's model, and enter "order spinning side brush" in the search bar. You will then be able to 'order' a side brush for free - after you complete the product registration page.

Just received a letter from iRobot regarding the side brushes wearing down prematurely and they are offering a free replacement side brush. I am already on the 2nd side brush and I only use my roomba 550 one hour per week for 3 months!

Most of the Roomba 550 are still under warranty so why buy this kit?
Due to an error in the advertisement, I returned the item asking the shipper to correct the order. The reply was simply to credit my account for the amount of the initial purchase. It appears that there was no attempt to contact me. This transaction will reduce the liklihood of future bsiness with this Amazon sub.
Have used the new side brushes for a few hours and they seem to be performing well. A little pricey though.
We received only one side brush with our Roomba, so this 3-pack is great to have on hand. We set our Roomba to run on a daily basis (black dog, white carpeting!) so it's nice to have the spare brushes and things ready to go if one gets snagged or broken. We have small kids so sometimes toys are left out by accident and can tear the 'arms' on these brushes.

I love my Roomba and am glad that these spare parts are available seperately and cheaply!

This vacuum works very well for a stick vac. My daughter says it works really good in her dorm room at college. We have an older model and it works great too. These are very good stick vacs. Would buy another one.
I love this little vac! It's perfect for the hardwood floors in my kitchen and dining room. It gets all the little crumbs we drop, all the fine dirt we track in from the garage, and I was thrilled when it easily picked up the floating fur balls from our long haired cat. Does a great job on floor edges, too. Fairly decent on throw rugs, but that's not its main purpose in my house. It's nice and light, and super easy to maneuver--easy enough for my 8 year old to help out after her cat. The turning head makes it comfortable to get under furniture, saving my already bad back. Light, easy to maneuver, easy to empty/clean...and the price was right!
Great for cleaning bare floors!! Easy to operate, not real noisy, and it can get under beds and tables with ease!

I have wooden floors and two dogs that shed. This vac has been great for cleaning up all the extra hair. I use it daily and it does a great job. Not too loud, does not blow things around, plus it makes the air smell cleaner with its filter. Would highly recommend - Good value.
I have been extremely impressed, especially for the price. The only negative is that the "button" that holds the cup in place came out once. We were able to get it back in, but it wasn't easy.

After owning Sears, hoover, Kirby, I bbought this. This is by far the best vac I ever owned. I stands up to the abuse and keeps on going (like the energizer bunny). If you have carpets you need the power head.
If you have the vacuum, then you need a supply of these bags. Get some and keep some spares.
Been using this product for years. Wouldn't use any other. Easy to install and easily removed and discarded. No fuss and no dusty mess.
What can you say about vacuum cleaner bags! They work exactly as they're supposed to. No more, no less.

I love this little tool! Because I'm a fulltime RVer, I don't have room for a full-size shop vac, but often need the power of one to clean out the truck and trailer. This mighty mini does the trick. Some have complained that it is difficult to clean, but I didn't find it any more tough to clean than any other shop vac. My only real complaint is that it is so small, it has a tendancy to tip when I'm using it.
I bought this little wet vac to deal with the results of a leaky air conditioner. The gulper nozzle works beautifully to clean up liquids. What's more, the dust nozzle works better on dry carpet than my old Dust Buster ever did. The tank holds about a gallon of liquid, and the nozzle will simply stop suction when it's full, so there's no danger of overflowing it. My only complaint about the Shop Vac Mini is that the hose leaks when you turn off the power. This can be corrected by holding up the hose before you hit the power button, so that gravity ensures no leakage. It would be nice not to have to take that extra step, but if taking that step is keeping the price down I'll accept it.
My Dad had one of these. I borrowed it so much I finaly bought my own. This little shop vac has lots of power.
The only thing I don't like about it, it has no bag. It can be messy when you empty it.

Don't let the name fool you, this is not a miniature version of the larger shop vacs. Yes, it is powerful, but it creates more of a mess emptying it than I've ever used it to clean up. The entrance of the hose on the inside is also about 1/2 inch from the filter, try cleaning up anything longer than 1/2 and it clogs.... I was trying to use it to suction up the little bit of hay that escapes from my rabbits cage and it is perfectly useless for this. The attachment on my regular vacuum works much better. If it hadn't been a gift, I'd have returned it after the first use. As it is, its sitting unused in my closet.

I use this type of clamp on RV sewer hoses because the wire will go in between the wire in the hose and securely clamp it, whereas a standard automotive hose clamp is difficult to get between the hose wires
Grizzly is great. Good product, excellent priced, literally shipped overnight.

Ignore all the losers whining about how grizzly didn't sell them a $130 hose reel for the $1.10 the was mistakenly posted for about 15 minutes on Grizzly and Amazon. Or better yet, read them all and laugh that they would even put their name to a post whining about being "cheated" out of what was "rightfully theirs".

This product was listed separately as well as in a package deal with the Dirt Devil Scorpion. When I received it, I realized that there was no possible way for it to be used with the Dirt Devil. It is a matter of a round attachment and a rectangular insertion hole. It may be a good product but should not be grouped with incompatible products.
My dad had a set like this in the past, and it was helpful for small cleaning areas like computers, the car, stereo equipment, etc.

This is a great kit, I keep it with the vacuum, it has several attachments and a few with small brushes. I have been looking for something like this for a while, but did not find it in a physical store. I'm happy with the purchase and it is very handy to have at home.
Contrary to the seller's claim that the micro attachments work on handheld vacuum cleaners, there is not an adapter included to allow it to attach to the DirtDevil Scorpion handheld vacuum cleaner. Before you purchase, be sure and ask the seller if the micro attachments will fit your specific brand/model of vacuum cleaner.
FALSE ADVERTISING!
wanted to use the tools to vacuum out my serger - sewing machine. Tools are to long and stiff to reach up and under the machine. Works great on flat surfaces. Think I expected to much out of the tools.
This is a cost effective solution for small scale cleaning. Well worth the price. Once you attach this to your vacuum, you will be looking for new places to use this.

My one comment is that this took a long time to get to me. A week for shipping something is a long time these days. I think it was shipped by rail across the US. Keep that in mind if you really need this for a project.

Excellent value. A little slow on the delivery, but overall, will take slow delivery, for quality and getting exactly what I ordered.
Since finding this product, I'm through with getting bent over a barrel by vac bag bandits!
These babies are fab- I throw 'em in, suck up the filth of my life, throw 'em out. Then I take a cruise on the money saved by not buying the crazy brand name bags.
Ok...maybe you can't save enough to buy the cruise, but you could put the savings towards my favorite Pike Street 510-Thread Count 100% Cotton Sateen King Sheet Set, White which are kind of like taking a cruise in your own bed...

I requested an EL012W washable filter for the Electrolux Oxygen3 vacumm cleaner. So far, I've been sent the EL013W which doesn't fit the Oxygen3 and the EL012 which is not the washable version.

My initial e-mail was promptly followed by the vendor sending me the EL012 (non-washable filter), but they have not responded to my latest e-mail telling them the order was still wrong now over a month later.
The filters for the Oxygen vacuum seem to do the job, it's just that the Oxygen vacuum is the worst vacuum I have every used or purchased. I can not get the various attachments on or off the wands, then the heads make the wands fall apart about 10-20 times per room - get me some duct tape please!!! I needed something lighter weight and this does meet that standard and vacuum needed allergy filtration system and it does have that. It is so falling apart inefficient and picks up almost nothing - the flooring head is too wide and long for the suction range and physically just moves the dirt around on the floor.
I could not recommend the vacuum to anyone...the washable filters seem to do just fine, but since the vacuum picks up nearly nothing - I may just have a lifetime supply on my storage shelf and only purchased 2. Now after a year of trying to use the vacuum it sits in the storage closet most of the time and I make do without it.
