(good product better than a broom) 『The swiffer sweeper has been a great quick use on my hardwood floors without having to pull the broom out all the time. I still use my broom before I mop, but I prefer the swiffer for after dinner clean-up and in-between deep cleanings. I also like it because my little kids can use it very easily to help. (Not to mention--they think it's a fun toy to help with). It picks up the dust bunnies, cheerios, and crumbs quickly. The only thing that's annoying is the replacement filters. (NEVER BEEN A FAN OF THE SWIFTER...) 『...until now. OK, let's put things into perspective, it only cost me $28 and change. We have a shark at home, but I really wanted something to sort of hug the tile&floors, you know, getting up all the dust. I saw this and thought it was a little different, so I tried it. Boy was I impressed! The vacuum was much more powerful than I anticipated, although, sometimes I'll see a chunck (not sure what it is) and it won't pick up. Maybe it's too big to fit under the vacuum head. Most times, I see hair, feathers, birdseed, grass just get sucked right up. I can't believe that someone said you can't get into the corners - that's what I love best about it! It handles just like a regular Swifter (you can swivel the head around) I am able to push the vacuum parallel to my floor boards and just run it along them, I am able to get under the door stops, under furniture, in between furniture. And the cool thing is, what the vacuum does not pick up, the little swifter pad does. It's super light weight, easy for everyday and surprisingly powerful for the price. When I pull the pad off and see all the dust I've picked up on even clean floors and then toss it in the trash, I feel great. The filter is usually filled with mostly dust&hair (which some have complained about) but the way I see it, is that was on my floors&now it's in my trash. The charge lasts me for at least my entire house (I'm pretty quick though) and I have about a 2,100 sqft home, with mostly tile (BR's&living room with carpet)
OK...so it's not perfect, now if you have some tacky or sticky drops on your floor, you know, the kind you might not notice for a few days. Anyway, as you clean your floors, the pad is picking up all sorts of dirt&dust (this is great) however, when you do go over those sticky spots, the spots will pick up the dirt from the pad&make them very noticeable. At first I was irritated by this. Then after being "forced" to grab a sponge to wipe up the few spots I saw, I realized that maybe, this isn't such a bad thing - just because I couldn't really see the spots, didn't mean they weren't there. Those spots will eventually start to show up in a matter of days or even hours. Well, needless to say, my floors look great&most of all, I feel like they are really clean.
And for [...], I like it better than the [..] shark - just my 2 cents worth.

ON THE OTHER HAND - IF you start with a "semi" clean floor and plan to use this "semi" often to maintain said "semi" cleanliness, then this is for you.
Some of the reviewers seem disappointed due to seemingly unrealistic expectations but in my opinion, it's a great deal for the money... No operational problems, either: no leaks from the water storage; the water jets function fine; it holds a charge; it's durable; it's lightweight; the cleaning pads are machine washable and the vacuum sucks - just like it should !!
I would've rated this product 5 stars if a seriously buff Mr. Clean climbed out of the box and mopped my kitchen floor for me while I watched OR if they threw in a few more cleaning pads ;)- Good Luck!!!』

DOWN TO ONLY 1 STAR - PIECE OF JUNK .... BUT THE BATTERY LIFE SEEMS FINE. It just has so little suction and the wet pad idea is just a dirty mess maker. I use it for light (I mean really light) dust-busting, but it is not shaped or designed for just that, so I can't even use it as an effective dust-buster except for a few spots around the house.
DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I was pleased with the quick light cleaning at first. However over time, it really turned out to be much less useful than I first thought.
The suction is terrible and the cleaning pads are a mess. Taking off the dirty ones, washing and replacing makes the whole thing problematic.
The pads are attached with velcro and stretch and wear poorly when washed. Thus they do not fit that well once used and washed several times, and the velcro has it's own typical loss of adhesion after constant use.
THUMBS DOWN in the long run.』
(Great Product!! Vacuums up better than my big expensive vacuum!) 『I bought this vac for $18 because I wanted something I could vacuum up the litter my cats track all through my house. I have 4 cats and nice new blonde laminate flooring. Every speck of dirt shows up on my floors and my cats kick litter out of the box and then walk it all through the house. I used to keep my big Hoover vac out all the time to pick up the litter but I felt gross about using the same vacuum on my carpets. So my mom gave me her Eureka vacuum to use but that just blew the litter all through the house. So I saw this product and decided to buy it. This vacuum ROCKS! It picks up everything the first time! It is a small vac so it's not going to pick up bigger items but it definitely can pick up dust bunnies and litter and dirt and all that. Plus the pad picks up stuff too. I used the mop for the first time today and I liked that too. The charge lasts a long time too, I charge it every couple days and everything works great. Also, since it is small it doesn't look so obtrusive to keep out like my big hoover does. There are really only 2 things I don't like: one is that the light that comes on when you charge it is really really bright. Like blindingly bright. But I just face the vacuum so the light faces the wall and everything is fine. Also, you have to put a clean pad on if you're going to mop or you'll make your floor dirtier than they were. I feel like my pads are always dirty and I never have a clean one on hand. I've seen that you can buy some extra ones for like $15 or something so I might do that. But what I do like about the pads is they are washable so I'm paying for pads I can keep and wash over and over again rather than throw away and have to keep buying them like the swiffer wet jet. Also, you can use any solution, you don't have to buy the expensive stuff, you can ever put just soap and water in there. So I feel like Bissell has made a great, quality product that is green because you don't have to keep throwing pads away and it's bagless!! Great job!!!』
(Greatest product since sliced ham!) 『I would like to state first that the Bissell solution that comes with it smells like a gingerly frolic through a citrus orchard, but works like grandmas old school mop that leaves streaks and spots. That out of the way, this product is AWESOME. We have wood floors and tile floors and this thing works "GRRRRRRRRRRREAT!" (that's a quote from Tony the Tiger) We have two toddlers that throw their food on the ground when they are done eating. This vacuums up on one side and then mops it up on the other. I have found that the 4 dollar gallon sized hard floor cleaning solution from Sam's Club (Proforce brand and pink in color) is the best solution ever. I use 1 teaspoon (not table spoon) per filling of the container and it dries fast with no streaks.
On another note the thing holds a good charge as we leave it off the charger for days at a time and it still works. You can't vacuum and spray solution at the same time, but who would?????
The unit is durable, one of our toddlers knocked it over 5 times a day for almost a year before it got a leak in the tank. I called them and it only cost 3 or 4 dollars to get a new tank. They sent a new one fast and were courteous.

These vacuums take a single 9v battery which slides into the handle after removing the plastic plug on the end. I highly recommend using pre charged rechargeable batteries as I also discovered the others do not provide enough power to run the device properly. Once I switched this little bugger (pun intended) really got with the program!
Now I no longer need to destroy beneficial insects in the home, I merely vac um up and drop them over our balcony and about their business. We have yellow jackets in our area and nothing beats this for removing them from the house and sending them on their way. Give it a try and I'm sure you will agree, this is the best way to go about it. Only very tiny insects are exempt from removal with this, but if a person wanted they could place fine mesh or no see um netting over the handle entry where they land to prevent them from going through as the tubing is easily removable.』

I was somewhat skeptical being an old a/c mechanic and having always used a robinair high vacuum pump. In a pinch, I needed a low cost way to vacuum and auto a/c system after replacing some o rings so I purchased one of these and was amazed first that it even worked and second that it produced adaquate results to allow me to recharge free of enough non-condensables to get by. The very reason for vacuuming is to remove moisture, air and any substances that are non-condensible within the a/c system. If not removed these non-condensables reduce the performance of any a/c system or even stop it from working.
Now the performance wasn't up to what I could get with my trusty Robinair, but was satisfactory. The water column it pulled was about 23 inches on a my gauges. (My robinair will pull down close to 28 inches). (I think a perfect vacuum is between 28 and 29 inches of water column on a manometer).
I would recommend this if saving money is crucial and you need it for a small job where you don't plan to use it every day. If you leave it running for a half hour or so it should boil off all the water and most of all the other non-condensables inside the system.

It arrived in a box with ZERO protective packing. Not a bit of foam or cardboard. Not a single bubble of bubble wrap.
Guess what? It was damaged. The hose intake plastic flange was shattered. I'm sure the return policy is great--blah blah blah. But it's a hassle and I really needed the product when it arrived.
So great vacuum, BUT I strongly advise against using Amazon to purchase it.

(Gone through 2 of them) 『First off, I must say that while the product worked it was completely awesome. Quiet, small, great suction, loved the power tool switch, and it would run for hours on end. I gave mine a pretty good workout finish sanding bevelled siding after the siding had been stripped of paint. No complaints about it, the machine took the fine dust without a complaint.
The first Turbo 2 fell to its death off my painter's plank. I took it in to a Fein service center, and they told me that it would be more expensive to repair the motor than to buy a new vaccuum. OK, so now I have a parts supply for the replacement.
The second Turbo 2 seems to have gagged itself on drywall dust. As other reviewers mentioned, the motor started smelling hot and got a lot louder. Again, too expensive to repair.
I see the new ones are a lot more expensive, and require new filtration accessories. I never used any accessories, just the standard cloth filter bag. Until the most recent demise, there were no problems with using the standard filter. The filter bag would be caked in crap, but the motor would be clean. Now, I need to spend $[...], AND buy extra filters???
For the price, I'll be looking at Festool, Porter-Cable, or Wap's machines.』
(Fantastic All-Purpose Vacuum) 『I have utilized many shop vacs and home vacs over the years, just like most people, I'm sure. And I have come to the conclusion that buying a home vacuum is foolish when a shop vac will work much better and is more versatile. I bought this vacuum in conjunction with a Fein Multimaster but I also use it to vacuum my home. It is very quite with none of the typical high-pitched whining we've all come to love about shop vacs. This vac has very strong suction and, for home use, works better than a dedicated $600 vacuum I once owned. For the shop, in dry work I use the HEPA filter with great results. Yes, the attachments cost extra but they work well. If I had a complaint it would be that the european version can be registered for the 3 year warranty but not the U.S. version.』
(In use for 6 years, comments also on using with Festool) 『I bought the Fein to replace an old Craftsman shop-vac that was as loud as the deck of an aircraft carrier. Instant improvement, with the first discovery being that you will actually use a vac all the time if it's not too loud! The Fein has several endearing features: it's light, it's quiet, it's relatively hard to tip over, it has a long cord, and the cord stores on the body (by wrapping it around the top groove). I don't understand some reviewers' comments on the strength of the suction. These vacs do not have anything close to the level of suction developed by the cheaper and louder vacs. In fact, if they did, they would be a lot harder to use attached to tools like sanders. There is plenty of suction for any reasonable use, though.
I've never bought the wet-vac parts for the Fein and never used the vac with a bag. I just dump out the contents into a trash bag. Moreover, I've never replaced the filter and am careful when cleaning it - I don't over-clean the filter, and I'm careful not to damage it. A well-used filter with a reasonable amount of filter cake built up on it is very efficient, typically yielding much better filtration than the nominal micron rating listed. Among other things, I find I can use mine for drywall and for cleaning out my pellet stove without dust or soot escaping from the vac, though I'd buy a purpose-built vac if those were my primary uses. (Don't try this with a new filter!)
I agree with other reviewers' comments on the hose and attachment parts. They are lightweight and shouldn't be abused.
The bottom line on my review goes back to the starting comment. I found that quiet overwhelms every other consideration. Having a quiet vac turns it into something you use as you work instead of an end-of-day chore.
Don't be oversold on the hyped superiority of Festool vacs for their tools. While they are excellent vacs (I own one in addition to a Fein Turbo II) with tons of features, strictly from a vacuuming standpoint they don't offer any better performance than the Fein - and that includes any supposed advantage of the Festool vac's variable speed.
The one use for which I prefer the Festool vac is for sanding. But that's because I have a Festool vac with a HEPA filter, and I do not have the HEPA filter for my Fein. There is also one really good reason to prefer the Fein vac over Festool, and that's the exorbitant cost of Festool bags! Unlike sanding dust, chips from a tool like the Festool Domino will fill a bag in a hurry. Do yourself a favor and attach the Domino to your Fein instead!
