Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (A good alternative to traditional frothing) 『I received my Aeroccino Plus on Friday and have been testing it the last couple of days. I'm an experienced barista and take my espresso, latte and cappucino seriously. First, you can't beat a traditional manual espresso maker with a good steam wand. Using the steam wand on my machine, I get good consistent micro foam which brings out the natural sweetness of the milk. The trouble is that it takes a good 2 to 3 minutes each time which adds to prep time in the mornings before work. Also, when you're having a party and everyone wants a cappucino, I spend more time in front of my espresso machine than with guests. I wanted to try the Aeroccino plus as an alternative knowing it couldn't replace the steam wand on my Ms Silvia. Aeroccino Plus comes with 2 milk "stirrers" spun by a magnet under the bottom of the insert. One stirrer is whisk-like which whips air into the milk for a thick foam used in cappucinos and the other stirrer is just a paddle which incorporates minimal air while the milk is being heated. The big plus is that time is reduced dramatically. In less than one minute, the milk is frothed and heated which cuts down on prep time. The frothing is not bad but as suspected not quite micro bubbles. Using the whisk like stirrer, the milk comes out rather thick...good for cappucinos. The one criticism I have is the capacity of the machine. The holder is marked with 2 levels (one for each stir application). The first time I used it and filled to the lower level and stirred with the whisk stirrer, I found you could not put the lid on because soon after the stirring started, the milk over flowed and spilled out. This means you can add barely enough milk for a single shot. The second time I tried it, I filled it to the higher level marked for the paddle stirrer. The milk heated fast but the micro bubbles didn't quite happen...the milk came out a little thinner than ideal. But overall, for the convenience and speed, I really can't complain. I've resigned to use the convenience and quickness of the Aeroccino plus on week days when I'm rushing for work but sacrifice a little on quality. Then on weekends when time is not as much as an issue, I'll go back to the manual steam wand on Ms Silvia for my perfect latte. I know the Plus has a higher capacity than previous version but I would have liked to have just a little more capacity.』

(I am SO picky and so did not want to love this machine. Secretly I was hoping it would fail miserably and I could go back to my old 1980's Krups machine and use it until it dies.) 70 seconds later, I could not believe my eyes. Perfect microfoam. I am so impressed. If you have a passion and are on the quest to create the perfect cappuccino at home, without a lot of effort, this is your tool.』
(The new Plus version is a big improvement over original.) 『The new Plus version is a significant improvement over the original and a real pleasure to use. It's froth is more dense and with much less unfrothed hot milk. It's much easier to clean and has additional features (cold froth for iced versions, and the whisks have a handle so it's easier to remove/insert). The surface no longer causes milk to stick and get brown as in the original, so it's much quicker and easier to clean. Major improvement: the base is now sealed and waterproof, so one doesn't need to worry about getting water on it when cleaning, though it's not dishwasher safe, but there would never be a need to use a dishwasher. I haven't had it long enough to have any problem, nor do I anticipate any on this one, though I had many problems with the original. To be safe, it would be wise to buy it from Nespresso directly, or be sure it's registered with them in some way, so their warranty allows a simple exchange if it does malfunction.Nespresso 3192US Aeroccino Plus』

(assuming you use the recommended amount per use). The smell was not overpowering or strangely unpleasant like some rug cleaning solutions I've used either. It's a light scent that just makes the house smell fresh and clean. It pulled up some hard to clean stains, which is partly attributed to my rug cleaner, but brightened up the dull, high-traffic areas.』

There are people here that have left post here that say its nothing but fancy dryer hose. I believe their wrong! I have never seen dryer hose even close to being as thick as this hose. IT not the "hard" plastic like hose sold by JET and others but I didn't want that style of hose due to the fact that most of my machines are hooked to a central DC system but I may have to still move it away from the wall or to the right or left a couple of feet every now and then and this hard plastic style hose sold by JET just would not work. This hose is perfect for what I want. I do agree with one post it does have a strong plastic smell staight out of the box, but its no big deal as I know it will probably go away. For 50 bucks this hose is perfect! Thanks PSI and Amazon for the deal!』
(Light weight but useable) 『I am going to compare this hose with hose I bought from Harbor Freight Tools (HF), item #96478 $15 for a 10 foot length --[...] -- I'm not an employee of HF, just a long time customer. I bought my 2 HP Dust Collector (DC) from them and needed a lot of hose.
One reviewer mentioned that the box had more tape on the outside holding it together than hose inside. The 50' hose comes in a 4' long box and the box arrived torn in half with no tape holding the two halves together. Fortunately there was no damage to the center section of the hose.
I was shocked at how cheap and lightweight the PSI hose seemed compared to the HF hose I was already using. I buy from HF knowing their products can be of cheap quality, but for the price and quality, I highly recommend HF's hose. And the hose slices are $3.
The Facts: The PSI hose has well defined interior peaks and valleys at each fold, adding to the air flow resistance. The HF hose is fairly smooth inside. PSI - the bare wire 'floats' loose inside a formed pocket. HF - has heavy insulation around the wire and is molded directly into the hose. PSI - I mic'd the wire at .048". This equates to about 16 1/2 a.w.g wire (lamp cord is 16 awg. HF - .059 (about 14 1/2 awg). PSI - I mic'd the plastic jacket at .006" and .012" thick. This is how it's made: half of each segment or fold is only .006" thick and where the jacket folds over onto itself to form the wire pocket, this half of the segment is .012" thick and the two halves are fused together forming a seam (and the interior ridges). This is the area where one reviewer says holes are developing, continued stretching or pulling on the hose could lead to separation at this seam. Dragging the hose on the floor should not cause a leak because a hole would first develop on the other edge of the wire pocket and the pocket is sealed from the interior. HF - the jacket mic'd at .021" uniform thickness. As a comparison, a 2 Liter soda bottle is .012 thick. PSI - 50' hose??? I measured each run I cut, stretching the hose moderately tight, and I only got about 35' of hose. I don't know how the manufacture gets its measurment (maybe during a tractor pull), but if you stretch the hose to an extreme, I think those seams will start to stress and pull apart.
I had 20' of HF hose which was enough to connect my DC from inside the garage up to the workshop wall. From there, I started running the PSI hose as the main truck line through out the workshop in the rafters. It's been about 2 months in use with no problems, but only time will tell. With the DC on, the hose wants to pull together with force with only one blast gate open and a 2 1/2" reduced fitting, so much so that hose pulled out of a support clamp screwed into a rafter. The HF hose dose not draw together like that. When released from the box, the HF hose extends to much of its lenght and stays like that. The HF hose is also pretty flexible but with a lot more weight/durability to the hose.
Bottom Line: Would I buy this PSI hose again? Yes. I will place another order after this review. Why? It is extremely flexible, great for runs between blast gate and machine. Easily collapses back to a small length if needed. I can push the machine back against the wall and the hose doesn't fight me. With 4" port connections at the machine, the hose dose not draw up. But with a 2 1/2" reducer fitting connected, the hose would draw up and pull the connector off the machine port. It can be a useful hose in your workshop if you understand its limitations. I see it as a lightduty hose. It may last many years. But in a year or so if the hose doesn't hold up then I will have made a $110 mistake, but I will move forward.』
(Not as bad as some make it out to be. But definately not great.) 『I recently purchased this hose to make a bunch of short run hoses for my dust collection system in my garage workshop. The posters that say this is overglorified dryer vent hose are exaggerating, but not by much...
The clear PVC is nice in that it is clear, and if I recall the stats 12 mil thick, which is basically the thickness of a beach ball, or 3 contractor clean up trash bags thick.
What do you expect for the price tag? I considered the similar stat version from Peachtree, but the added cost, AND the added shipping was not worth it to me. I do have Peachtree's 2.5" clear hose, and if the 4" is made the same, It would be far better made than this stuff...
Overall, I am confident this will make the connections I need to make, and since my shop is dedicated, and the machines don't move much, I am confident enough this stuff will work, and it certainly was priced right. But if I were running the DC around the shop and moving the hose a lot, I would NOT get this stuff... It's almost a pity that PSI put their name on it... Makes me wonder about their other product quality, and I have been considering a Turncrafter Pro Variable Speed midi lathe...』
(Too much internal resistance) 『I bought this to use a 4 inch vacuum sweeper for my shop. I only needed 25 feet to reach the entire area, so I cut it in half. Hooked to a two horsepower dust collector, it has too much internal resistance to air flow to pick up anything more than sawdust. It won't pick up wood chips, or anything heavier.』

I keep it on high while not sleeping and can feel the draft it creates in the apartment! It certainly moves a lot of air. I keep it on the 2nd lowest mode while I sleep, and although it's on the 2nd lowest mode, it's still so silent on this speed, I have no problem falling asleep. It's wheels are convienent for moving it, it's simplicity in operating and changing filters is very welcome! The little blue light on the corner of the machine, which is the BlueAir symbol, is rather bright at night, so I turn the machine so the light faces the wall. I also have taped a little piece of paper over it, to block the little diode light. But, aside from that very little problem, i'm extremely happy after owning the maching for about 1 month. Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Lots of power for the price) 『I purchased this vacuum because a 6.5 HP motor seems to be as big as you can get without jumping into the industrial line of vacuums. I wanted a big motor for a reasonable price.
Warranty - It also has a 3 year warranty, which of course I hope I do not need to use.
Assembly - It is easy to put together...about 10-15 minutes. I only needed a flathead screwdriver to mount the wheels.
Blower -The vacuum has a blower feature which you enable by plugging the hose into the exhaust port.
Drain - It has a drain for emptying the vacuum after wet pickup. Useful when 16 gallons of liquid is too much to lift.
Noise - I can't tell if this vacuum is "super quiet" as advertised. It seems as loud as any vacuum I have owned. Probably some room for improvement. Without a decibel rating... it all seems relative.
Sucking power - this vacuum is powerful. No complaints.
Included Tools - everything is plastic and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The crevice tool is larger than you might think. I think they could have included a round brush tool for the price.
Tool Carriage - mounts easily to the back of the vacuum. It is of marginal value. Bad for extension pipes and hoses, good for the crevice tools and gulper tool.
Weight - This vacuum weighs 20+ pounds which makes it heavy to many people. There is a handle on top of the unit which you can use to carry it.
Extensibility - shop vac makes some additional products such as a gutter leaf blower attachment, a dust collection system, and drywall sanding screen/collection system all of which give this product some growth potential.
Filters - This one uses the round cartridge as shown but can also accomodate bags for drywall dust or fine dust. I like the one piece design as opposed to the sponge, o-ring, filter design used in other models.
Cord - 18 ft. cord is nice.
Areas for improvement - add some extra tools (brush head and/or small crevice tool), give a 5 year warranty, reduce the noise further, add a crush proof hose, add a tote bag for the tools as opposed to the on board carrier.
