(Good little vacuumn if you do not have pets and carpeting) 『I originally purchased this vacuumn knowing that I wanted a small canister unit that was easily stored as we have a small home. I also had only hardwood floors at the time. I did my homework and chose this one after reading all of the wonderful reviews. The vacuumn seemed to be exactly what I was looking for when it arrived. Suction seemed to be sufficient to clean my hard wood and kitchen floors. We then adopted a Golden Retriever&I put down a nice big area rug in our living room. The suction level of this vacuum just cannot handle having to pick up pet hair on the carpeting. I find that I have to constantly stop vacuuming in order to clean the pet hair off the bottom where it should be going up into the hose. I've also found that due to the lack of suction it gets caught in the hose itself as well. If you need a light weight vacuumn that doesnt need to do very much or you only have bare floors and no pets to clean up after it might work for you. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and look for another vacuumn with better suction.』

(Great vaccum for the price) 『Pros: -Great suction, even with the bag 2/3 full. -Lightweight, compact design, easy to hand carry. -Gets warm but not too hot to carry. -Swiveling wheels make for good maneuverability. -Vacuum hose swivels on both ends, keeping hose twisting to a minimum. -Comes with a floor tool (best for hard floors, adequate but not great for rugs/carpet), duster, and crevice tool. Handle has an adjustable suction port. -Build quality is pretty good, considering price and weight. -Bag changes are ridiculously easy, and bags are designed with a cardboard flip cap to help keep dust from spilling out. -Long power cord.
Cons: -Floor tool tends to drag on rugs/carpet. -Vacuum hose made of thin gauge plastic, try not to step on it too many times. -Cord management could have been improved with a cord clip on the plug that actually fits the cord diameter, along with an easy-off swivel hook for the cord. -No HEPA filter (if you need that sort of thing) but then again that's one less thing to change/clean.
Overall: This is a great canister vac for people in small homes/apartments, or homes with mostly hard flooring. Compact, maneuverable, light but powerful. Suction stays strong even when the bag is starting to fill.』
(Great!) 『This tiny vacuum is the best. I volunteer my time cleaning at a cat rescue. I run this vac almost two hours straight cleaning cement basement floors, and carpeted cat perches/furniture. The machine can get hot, but it still has a powerful suction to a concrete floor with the vac head attachment. Even with a overly full bag it still has suction and the cord is long. I just wish the bags were larger though, as they fill up fast with cat hair and litter. :) I do not suffer from elbow fatique considering how long I am using the machine. The only issue I had was when a tiny cat toy got caught in the plastic pipe at the connection to the corrigated hose. This happens quite often and the person who owns the vac fixed it by disconnecting those pieces. This vacuum can handle being run hard and still works great. I purchased one for my mother in law because its so easy to use, carry and to change the bags. The bottom two containers will keep foods piping hot or cold for hours. The top container and divider are very useful for packing small portions of snacks such as cut up veggies, granola, etc and can easily be packed the night before. I would say the two biggest benefits of this lunchbox system are portion control and variety. You will initially look at the containers and think they are too small since they are smaller than typical tupperware style containers; however, trust me, you will not be hungry. (great for healthy lunch) 『i have been packing lunch for my friend when i take her to chemotherapy. it is a four hour round trip every day, and she goes all week long, every four weeks. the chemo itself takes several hours of infusion so she has to eat. they have a cafeteria where i can bring food up to her, but she really needs certain foods that are both high in protein and vitamins, and easy for her to keep down and digest. i use the two bottom compartments to keep foods cold, not hot. cottage cheese in the bottom. rice salad or pasta salad in the rice container, or possibly some cold leftovers. sliced fruit or vegetables in the larger top container, cookies or crackers in the top. this is working well.』
(How to feed a hungry spouse) 『My husband and I liked the idea of bento, but we didn't like some of the more frou-frou boxes. I also didn't want to have to go to great lengths to come up with fancy lunches every morning (I've got enough to do!). This box looked good and had good reviews - it was a little pricey, but we've absolutely LOVED it.
The containers looked small when we first got them, but the portion sizes are actually perfect - they fill my husband (who is not a small guy) - and yet don't overfill him.
The 3 dishes have to be stacked correctly to work, but then you don't have to heat or refrigerate the food. For us, this is great because though my husband does have access to a fridge and a microwave, work fridges are a black hole (things disappear for months in them) and work microwaves are a bit of a pain. This way, my husband can just eat whenever he feels hungry, and not have to go mess with heating or cooling his food - or even leaving his desk, if a super-busy day is in the cards for him.
It's very easy to fill this thing: main compartment is great for leftovers, even a sandwich cut into 1/4s. The top or bottom can manage fruit and/or veggies. I've tried cheese and crackers, almonds, desserts, soups, rice dishes, sliced fruit - you name it, this bento box can do it. Even a quick perusal of the pantry can turn into a very artistic, healthy meal when popped into this handy container.
And because you have to keep the portion sizes relatively - well, not small, just not BIG - the set-up actually encourages healthy eating. Since there's not much room, why waste space on chips, which are mostly grease and air? Instead, I find myself looking for stuff that will actually be filling and healthy. Good lunchbox real-estate = healthier portions. The smaller portions also means less waste - everything gets eaten and the box comes home clean.
My husband also loves the fact that he gets different stuff each day and in each container. He won't come into the kitchen as I make lunches in the morning, because he doesn't want to ruin his lunch "surprise."
This is a lunch box for a very particular KIND of lunch and KIND of person: namely, someone who wants to eat mindfully and of a diverse amount of healthy items. You can't just pork out on whatever's in the fridge if you're using this thing. Previously, when we mopped, it was obvious we were pushing dirty water around the floor, then it settled in the grout. The only way I found to get the floor clean was scrubbing with a brush then immediately wiping with a clean wet rag - all on my hands and knees. Not only was this very time consuming, it was very hard on my hands, knees and back. This machine does exactly the same thing without any pain and in a small fraction of the time. The price was the best I found locally or on line and delivery was within a couple of days- amazing! I am pleased with this purchase in every way.』
(Really disapointing) 『I bought this 6 months ago and have only used it 3 times. I so wanted to like it, but it doesn't have enough power to clean sticky dirt. I have Spanish tile floors and dogs - they track in dirt and it's gunky. The Floormate takes forever to go over the floors even though it's only a kitchen and nook area. I spent over an hour tonight going slowly and there are still lots of patches of dirt left. It removes superficial dirt all right and the vinyl floor in my laundry room is fairly easy. I think it's just too gentle or the brushes don't get down in the crevices enough. I really wanted something to get the tile floors clean without more time and energy than scrubbing them with a brush. Fail.』

(Good if you have a bad back) 『This cleaner is for people who are too lazy to sweep and mop, or people who can't physically bend over. It will clean your floor, but it takes longer than regular sweeping and mopping. The scrubbers get up light dirt, but don't fully clear up sticky or "dried in" messes. It is an ok product, but an average adult could just do the regular sweep and mop thing more quickly.
As an added bonus you get to store another machine and buy cleaning liquid for it.』

This machine performs the hardwood floor cleaning quite well. Tile floors are easily cleaned, as well, although I prfer to dry the tile with old bath towels. The machine dries wood floors very well, especially when you set the machine to "dry" and proceed slowly, even sweeping twice. Clean-up is a snap! Very easy. The Hoover cleaning product isn't too easy to find, but numerous similar cleaning products - Murphy, Bona, and even homemade cleaner solutions - can be found readily. (It does what I wanted it to...) 『I read evrywhere to avoid 90 degree bends in my ducting if possible - and I did - but there was one place in my shop where it was unavoidable. I used this elbow to solve the problem and I have not noticed a significant difference in the airflow or dust collector performance. By the way I have a one car garage shop with a Jet DC650 collector.
Bottom line, don't make sharp bends in your ducting if you can avoid it. If you must bend, use these but use them sparingly and you should be fine.』

(Holds only 10min worth of a charge) 『Overall I am happy with this 18v cordless wet/dry vac. I keep it in the trunk and us it for car spills or when the dog gets car sick. Easy enough to hose off the container for cleaning. Vac suction is pretty decent for a cordless, way more powerful than a dustbuster but still not shopvac strength. The only problem is that it only keeps a 10min 48sec charge. I tested using 2 charged batteries for comparison and the vac stopped around the same time. So if you require longer than 10 minutes, then I would recommend buying a 24v battery instead of the 18 v battery. Yes, even though it states here on amazon as a 18v cordless, this vac also takes 24v batteries.』

(best thing I ever bought) 『Just received my haan FS=20 and I cleaned my laminate floors with it. DId a beautiful job. I don't know that I would recommend for elderly because it did take a little power to move machine. I think it probably would be easier on vinyl floors. The cord is just right and if you stay over a tough spot and let steam clean it, it will come off. No more cleaning floor on my knees! My daughter bought one and is very pleased with it too.』
(cleans well, no chemicals) 『First, the one con: it doesn't vacuum. I run a Swiffer dry mop/vacuum, or regular vacuum cleaner, over the floor before I use the steam cleaner. Other than that, it's a fantastic cleaner; I use it on linoleum and hardwood. The major advantage for me is that because the water is so hot, the "water trail" left behind after mopping evaporates quickly, so I don't have to bar the family from the kitchen while the floor dries. I have a crawling baby so I'm happy not to need chemicals. This thing also softened up some old dried paint stains on the hardwood, although we still had to manually scrape up the paint. I like the Haan steam cleaner, I would recommend it.』
(Very disappointed) 『I owned a Shark steamer mop which worked pretty well, but when I saw the Haan infomercial, it seemed like such a sturdier, larger mop and with the ability to steam my couches and mattresses, I decided I would "upgrade" and give the Shark to my mom. Was so excited when I got it that I tried it right away only to be extremely disappointed. It took forever to heat up, you couldn't even see the steam as they show on TV, the water had to be refilled very quickly and worst of all, it left my hardwood floors completely wet. My shark steamer was cheaper, ready to go in 15 seconds, you could hear and see the steam come out and it left my floors completely dry... only drawback was it was smaller so took a little longer to clean. Maybe my Haan is a defected one? Based on how it worked on my floors, I'm hesitant to try it on my mattress. What a waste of money.. maybe my mom will trade with me.』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (It WORKS! =)) 『This aspirator definitely works. I hated using the bulb because my baby just freaks out everytime i use it, but with this aspirator it's pretty easy. All you do is stick the white peice into your baby's nose (which has a stopper so you cant mistakenly stick it too far down the nose) and suck into the tube and the snot would go right into the clear container and the snot does NOT go into your mouth. I mean the thought of sucking the snot out of your baby's nose is really gross but it really does work. Whatever helps my baby breath better I will try. It's also pretty easy to clean...i just use hot water and anti-bacterial soap and wash/rinse the entire aspirator. Also there are three parts to it so you can take it apart for easier cleaning.』
(Far superior to a bulb-style aspirator) 『Long ago I'd been told by a parenting educator to bring home the hospital bulb's aspirator as the ones they have in hospitals are far better than the ones you can buy in stores, and that was true; we've protected my 3-year-old's hospital aspirator for, well, 3 years, and it's worked okay. But when my second kid was born, the bulb we got from the hospital was far inferior, and I couldn't find one in stores that was any better. Searching led me to this pigeon aspirator, and it is a VAST improvement over the bulb -- I'll be buying a second one for the older kid and tossing the 3-year-old bulb that must be pretty horribly disgusting inside by now.
Major improvements over the bulb: - the shape of the tip is flared so that you don't have to insert it more than an eighth of an inch at most before it forms a pretty good seal with the baby's nostril. With the hospital bulb, it was hard not to insert it too far, especially when my baby tried to rub her nose and inevitably jammed it in farther. - this style allows you to apply continuous suction (limited, of course, by how long you can maintain the suction with your lungs). I hated having to suck, remove the bulb, blast it out, and reinsert it every time; and was never sure whether the gurgling I would hear was new snot being sucked, or old stuff stuck inside the bulb. With this aspirator you can feel from the resistance to your suction whether you've successfully sucked up a booger or not. - it's easy to disassemble and clean this device. I do agree with another reviewer that the part that goes in to the baby's nose should really be made of transparent plastic so you can at least get an eyeball on how clean it is. - my baby doesn't dislike it any more than she dislikes the bulb. After a couple of days of using it, she's switched from sad crying to just petulant complaining while I use this, so maybe she doesn't hate it as much. It's hard to tell. My 3-year-old used to hate the bulb but got used to it -- I think they'll get used to anything over time.
I don't know yet what the limits are in terms of how hot I can get this thing as I clean it. Back in high school we used to clean chemistry lab glassware in hot water followed by a spray of acetone, which evaporated quickly and got it really dry really fast. But I'm concerned that the acetone would attack the plastic so haven't tried that yet. If nothing else, a periodic cleaning with alcohol or peroxide might do the trick to get it really sanitized.』
(Awesome product.) 『Seriously, this product is AWESOME! I used to use the bulb-type aspirator and my kid (17 months) hated it. When I used this one, she didn't mind and was so much more cooperative when I'm trying to clean her nose. I'm guessing maybe she doesn't like the intense short burst of suction, and this provides a milder and consistent suction. It works so much better too. You can suck as long as you want, until all the stuff comes out. When buying a product, I usually look at the most negative reviews, to see if there's anything I should be weary about. I would like to address a few of the concerns in those reviews here, just in case people are hesitant after reading them. You can clean the tip by filling the chamber with water (after you rinse out the snot inside), or soap water, and blowing out, and the water will blow out of the tip, washing everything out that might have been stuck inside. As for there being no filter to prevent the snot going into your mouth, you don't need one, unless as someone mentioned, you tip it upside down when there's a lot of snot in there and let it touch the opening to the tube that is on top of the chamber. Or if you don't clean it and it fills up all the way to the top.

(This really sucks!) 『Yes, it sucks but in a good way. I have used the dreaded bulb, cringed at the expense of the battery operated models and scratched my head at the musical snot suckers. With much hesitation I purchased this, seeing as it was reasonably priced, had no mechanical parts or batteries, and was made by that oh-so-advanced culture of Japan. I was a bit freaked out at first, wondering if I would get a mouth full of my child's snot, however this thing worked like a charm! The end that goes in your child's nose is just long enough so that it isn't shoving its way into his brain. The tube that goes in your mouth is the perfect length and yes, it does what it says. It removes the mucus competely and effectievely. I am giving one to all my relatives with kids as gifts.』 『This nasal cleaner is with a tube for mother to vacuum out baby's mucus. You can feel and control vacuum suction. When the nose is clear, you will feel the free air go in your mouth. The mucus will be collected in the container. A year ago I purchased a Ridgid vac at Home Depot for $99. The top detaches and becomes a very good blower. This $99 vac has the most suction I have ever had with previous vacs, ShopVac, Craftsman, and others. No matter how much I paid for the other vacs the cheap Ridgid is the best one by far. The only other one that came close was a 25 year-old 2.5 hp Craftsman. (still in use) One of the vacs I use in my shop for dust collection recently died so I went shopping on amazon. I found this Ridgid 2-stage 11.5 amp industrial vac. I figured this one had to be good, reading the product description and the price. When it arrived by amazon's two-day prime shipping, (in two days) I was initially disappointed as it has a 1 7/8 inch hose. I'm sure I missed that in the product description, my bad. This size doesn't fit any tool dust collection hookups without buying an additonal hose. I took the vac out into my shop and put it to work. Are you kidding me? The tool hose on my wife's old Hoover upright has more suction. I tried to suck up some small brads along with dust off my work table. I had to take the brush off the end and place the hose directly over the nail to pick it up. My other vacs would grab it from 4-5" away. If you want to buy a good vac, look for the Ridgid that has the detachable blower. One third the price and 10 times the suction. Sorry Ridgid, but this vac works good for cleaning out a car, but it has no place in a work shop or on a job site.』
