(Improved over previous versions and a great price) 『I own the original model of the Leaf Hog which has performed well for 5+ yrs.with the original shoulder bag and BV006 adapter tube and collar for a trash can. With a quarter acre of leaves I wanted a second so that spouse and maybe even son could help reduce the work load. The LH4500 is more robust than the original and with a metal rather than plastic impeller does a better job of shredding. It's well balanced and easy to manipulate. The pulsating nozel works well to dislodge leaves that want to stay stuck to the ground. And, the regular nozel sends a good sharp blast. The adapter for the BV006 that one reviewer said B&D was going to include wasn't there, but contact with B&D quickly had one in the mail on their nickel.It's a perfect fit. I can even use the bag from my 5 yr. old machine with it. For those who complain about the noise, common sense (and the owner's manual, pg. 2) indicate the use of ear plugs. For complainers about the unwieldy bag, just try readjusting it for balance as it fills. If the shoulder strap wears on you, take an old face cloth and wrap it around the strap where it rests on the shoulder. We hope that the LH4500 serves as well as the original Leaf Hog. With a 2 yr. warranty, B&D offers a good product.』

Previously, when we mopped, it was obvious we were pushing dirty water around the floor, then it settled in the grout. The only way I found to get the floor clean was scrubbing with a brush then immediately wiping with a clean wet rag - all on my hands and knees. Not only was this very time consuming, it was very hard on my hands, knees and back. This machine does exactly the same thing without any pain and in a small fraction of the time. The price was the best I found locally or on line and delivery was within a couple of days- amazing! I am pleased with this purchase in every way.』

This book has a clearly written style that is easy to understand. The illustrations are placed near the aproriate text and referenced in the text.
This book contains many useful references for most of the car's systems. However I believe that more information and illustrations should have been included in the Body and chassis chapter which was quite short and bare. The illustrations in this chapter needed a little more detail especially on how the model years differed.
In addition, therre was virtually no information included on the turbocharger included in two model years and how their exhaust systems differed.
All in all a very good looking reference with a great deal of information. Thanks Chilton!

A year ago I purchased a Ridgid vac at Home Depot for $99. The top detaches and becomes a very good blower. This $99 vac has the most suction I have ever had with previous vacs, ShopVac, Craftsman, and others. No matter how much I paid for the other vacs the cheap Ridgid is the best one by far. The only other one that came close was a 25 year-old 2.5 hp Craftsman. (still in use) One of the vacs I use in my shop for dust collection recently died so I went shopping on amazon. I found this Ridgid 2-stage 11.5 amp industrial vac. I figured this one had to be good, reading the product description and the price. When it arrived by amazon's two-day prime shipping, (in two days) I was initially disappointed as it has a 1 7/8 inch hose. I'm sure I missed that in the product description, my bad. This size doesn't fit any tool dust collection hookups without buying an additonal hose. I took the vac out into my shop and put it to work. Are you kidding me? The tool hose on my wife's old Hoover upright has more suction. I tried to suck up some small brads along with dust off my work table. I had to take the brush off the end and place the hose directly over the nail to pick it up. My other vacs would grab it from 4-5" away. If you want to buy a good vac, look for the Ridgid that has the detachable blower. One third the price and 10 times the suction. Sorry Ridgid, but this vac works good for cleaning out a car, but it has no place in a work shop or on a job site.』
