I purchased this product and was then told it was unavailable; I was charged a return fee for the film I ordered for this item.
Can't find this stuff anywhere anymore, but Amazon is picking up the slack. The fax paper doesn't last very long, but at least it comes 2 to a box and isn't expensive. Just need to keep it on hand and order when your down to one roll.
It is great to see products available that hold to their integrity. I always buy Panasonic, they always produce what they promise.

I bought this fan when my roommate and I got 2 kittens. Not only was the weather getting hotter, but we didn't want to have to worry about our allergies acting up due to the kittens. It has been on nonstop for almost a month now and we have had no problems with it - it works very well and keeps our apartment nice and cool. Also, if you have small children or pets, you don't have to worry because the slits where the air comes out are small and the fan is built deep inside of the fan so it is safe. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in need of an air purifier. I'm actually about to purchase a second one!!
I have 3 cats so I need a good air filter. I ordered two to place at two strategic places in my house. The units are so quiet I sometimes have to check that they are working. They definitely recycle the air and remove and possible odors from cat litters. People entering the house for the first time and seeing the cats act surprised. there is absolutely no odor.

I have had this particular air purifier for a year and a half now and have loved it! I would have given it 5 stars but the replacement filters are a bit pricey.

I have this in the room with my guinea pigs and computer and all my paper files so there is a lot of dust and dander in addition to hay that the guinea pigs eat. The room is slightly larger than recommended but it has not been a problem. The odor control is great and this is the least dusty room in the house since we bought it. It has been run non-stop for the year and a half we have had it except to change filters. On very rare occasions it will seem loud. I usually vacuum the front grill and shake it out (hay tends to fall in) and this resolves the loudness.

I am getting ready to purchase one for each of our 3 bedrooms. I would just check the filter replacement costs first and decide if you want to spend that much. Otherwise, this is a great air purifier for the price!
Recevied on time. Set up an woking in 10 minutes. It is in the dogs' (4)room and pulls a lot of the hair and dander. I really notice the difference.
Well this filter worked great for about a month. Then it started to rattle a little but only sometimes. Now when it's running it has a burning smell and sometimes I have to hit it to get it to turn on. I'm going to have to check the warranty information.

I bought this for my son, Christmas 2006, since he liked "helping" me clean the house. The back of the vacuum tilts down just like the real thing, so he can "vacuum" under his bed. There is a tiny button near the light that makes very realisitic vacuum humming. My son uses his foot to turn it on and off, in an effort to copy me. I have not had to change the light bulb, and it runs on three AAA batteries. I use rechargeable batteries, but I've only had to replace them once, despite how often my son uses it. I know it's durable because I've caught my son stepping on the handle, when the back was laying flat, and it didn't crack or break. When he is a little older, we will upgrade to the Dirt Devil Toy Vacuum Jr., so he can be responsible for his own room.

I'm a real DIYer and really enjoy maintaining my vehicles. One item that most people overlook is flushing out the brake fluid every year or two. On a new vehicle the brake fluid looks clear like water but after a couple of years it starts to look like ice tea which means that it has attracted moisture which is normal for Dot 3 brake fluid. If you let it go the wheel cylinders and brake calipers are prone to corrosion and after so long they will start to leak which is not good. I purchased this Actron Vacuum pump/Brake Bleed Kit so I could flush out my brake lines when the brake fluid starts getting dark in color. If you have someone to help you they can keep the master cylinder topped off while you apply a vacuum to each bleeder screw. If you don't have anyone to help you, you can go to a hardware store and purchase a length of plastic hose the same diameter as the hose supplied in a length long enough to reach from the farthest bleeder screw to the master cylinder under the hood. That way you can monitor the brake fluid level in the master cylinder so you don't inadvertently empty it. The extended life span of the wheel cylinders and calipers will more than pay for the cost of this tool.
I bought the Actron Kit to bleed the rear brakes for my motorcycle. The Actron kit is made of metal and comes with the standard jar to hold your fluids, hoses, and that's about everything you need to bleed your brakes. The reason I bought this kit was because of the gauge on the pump so I could see if there was a leak somewhere in the system. I tried using the kit by connecting the black hose to the pump and the jug. From the jug there would be a clear hose to see if there are any bubbles in the fluid that you draw to the bleeder nipple. Unfortunately, I was never able to create a vacuum due to the flawed design of the jug. I tested every connection with the pump and gauge and I could always create a vacuum until I connected the hoses to the jug. This jug is also relatively small will probably not be able to hold that much fluid, and once the fluid gets to the top it will be sucked by the pump. Fortunately, the pump is metal and you're able to clean it. I had high hopes from this kit but it didn't work out for me.
This is a fine vacuum test kit, but garbage for bleeding brakes. I could not get a tight seal around the brake bleeders no matter how much grease I used on them and the cup. The cup is also very brittle and feels like it's going to break just putting the hoses on it.

I went back to my simple tube with a check valve in it and a second person pumping the brake pedal - works great. Save your money and don't bother with this kit.
The cover does not seal tightly on the cup,after putting grease between the two, I was able to draw a vacuum. The cup/cover should be redesigned,
a little larger would be nice as well.
Need to use a lot of silicone grease(included)on the bleeder screw threads to get them to seal.
After fixing those two problems,the pump itself works great.

It's not made in USA.(Which helps China and hurts the US)

This mop was recomended to me and I am very happy with it. It cleans much better than my previous mop and takes less time because it covers a much larger area. I highly recomend this item.
This product is fantastic. For dusting, pollen, dog hair and everything else on the floor or walls this is the go to mop. Very wide head and mop head adheres to handle by velcro. Washes beautifully.
This mop is easy to use and very effective. My floor has never looked this clean, and with no harsh chemicals (I used a mixture of borax, castille soap, and hot water). I also love that I'm not creating waste every time I mop my floor. I have two reservations, though, although one may be silly: 1) The microfiber pads shrink considerably with the first use and don't seem to cover the whole mop head anymore. Perhaps I washed them incorrectly, but there were no laundry instructions included. 2) The mop is very light and the swivel head makes it easy to get at tight spots, but I'm concerned the mop handle might not be very durable because it's so thin and light. So far, so good, so I might be worrying over nothing, and I have no reservations about how effectively it cleans my floors.
I am disappointed with the mop. It has been ackword for me to handle. The pad just swivels round and round as I try to get into corners or just move in a straight line. Not as all what I was expecting.
Gets the job done, extendable handle, reusable pads. Microfibers pick up stuff my broom and mop left behind. Very happy with this purchase.

This little vacuum is the best I've had. I've had a gas powered model that was bulky, hard to start, expensive, leaked leaves, and was hard to empty. I've had a shoulder mounted model that was hard to handle, hard to empty, and blew leaves out the back as picking up in the front ! This Shop Vac model is light, easy to handle, easy to store, easy to empty, and contains the leaves untill ready to empty ! This is for hard surfaces.
The vacuum works great for general cleaning in my shop.
The only fault is the kickstand is in a inconvenient place. It is under the bag connection.
I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with this sweeper. I use it to vacuum the patio and driveway. It cleans up the debris with little difficulty, and the bag is easy to detach and empty. One minor complaint is that, if the bag is full, the kick stand which holds the vacuum in an upright position doesn't function correctly, and the vacuum may topple over. Other than that, this device works quite well.
I am very pleased with the Shop-Vac. It is great at picking up leaves close to the wall, etc. The suction power is super. My only complaint is that is it somewhat top heavy and will fall backwards if you don't put the stablizer down when you need to let go of the handle. In my opinion,it should sit more upright.
The vacuum is great on patio, walks and driveway. It picks up large and small items and is best with dry leaves or stuff. It will compact the debris which makes for fewer emptying times with leaves. It does a poor job in grass and is not a lawn vacuum. It is very easy to operate and empty. I would prefer that it had a constant on option but one adapts quickly to holding the switch on by squeezing the handle. It has made leaf and garage clean up much simpler this fall. My wife uses it for rapid clean up and when I use our gas powered vacuum on the lawn. We highly recommend it,

This book was alot of fun to read to kids. They loved looking to see where the vacuum was hiding in the pages and who was going to disappear next. This book was one of my families favorites.
I bought this book for my 3 and 5 year old boys, but my older children love it too. It's one of the few children's books I can get my 12 year old to read to her younger siblings without bribery. The drawings are sweet and entertaining. I love how the first letter on each page is cleverly made into a character pertaining to the action on that page. The story is great and done in such a way as to not scare the little ones. I have recommended this book to all my family and friends.
I bought this because my son loves vacuums, he is 3. This story is about a vacuum that suck up an entire family...seems a bit scary for younger children. It doesn't read very well. I was disappointed.
This is just such a cute little book and story. It has lots of detail in the artwork that add a story to the story! Very colorful to keep childrens attention. Short enough for a bedtime story and to keep their attention. Each time I read it I find out more details to the story through the illistrations. The mystery is just scarey enough to keep kids on the edge of their seats, but not give them nightmares! A refreshing point of view. Gets the mind up and off the couch!

LOVE IT!
My son requested a book about a vacuum cleaner and we found this one. The drawings are done with marker and colored pencil (I think) in the style of an older child drawing them, which gives the book a charming homemade quality. The story is simple: a vacuum cleaner salesman sells a vacuum cleaner that will pick up anything, it cleans great but soon things and people disappear until the brother is the only one left; he sees the vacuum cleaner coming after him, he unplugs it, unzips it, and lets his family out. This book is just right for a five and three-year-old; slightly scary, but not too much since everything is okay in the end. They've requested to read it again and again. There is one typo which I find annoying, but overall just right if you want a book about a vacuum cleaner for your kids. Just one caveat: If your kids are scared of the vacuum cleaner "eating" things, this might feed that fear.

Despite some pretty silly things being said about this book, it stands as the single best book if you want to understand the field of New Energy. Most of the major inventions and inventors are introduced here, as well as some of the more exotic fringes of physics.

Bearden is one of the best science conceptualizers I have ever read. He has the ability to put the most complex extreme physics into terms which can be easily understood. He is far better than Isaac Asimov in this regard, and ranks up there with John Campbell, in my humble opinion. For example, in 2002 Bearden published a solution to the Source Charge problem, a mystery which has plagued electromagnetics for over 100 years, and is one of the ugly little secrets which mainstream science likes to pretend doesn't exist (because it casts the foundation of certain paradigms into serious doubt).

This is a weighty, scholarly tome of 951 pages, 100 of which are citations and references from the hard literature and other sources. (Roughly the same size/bulk as the 2009 Writer's Market.) There is also a 128 page annotated glossary. It is worth it just for the citations and glossary alone. It is also a very good book to study if you want to understand how science really works (as opposed to the fairy tales we are told in school). It is fascinating, deep, challenging, and eye-opening.

Bearden covers a wide range of topics, from the discoveries of various inventors to some pretty heavy physics. While he does discuss detractors (including assassination attempts), that is a minuscule part of the book, contrary to some ill-informed criticism.

Whether you accept the possibility of alternative views of physics or not, there is a great deal of solid information in this book. It will make you think a bit, if nothing else. (Yes, I know. Most people run screaming from the idea that they should actually use their head for something besides a hat rack. But, then, there are those 9 of you out there........)

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand what the whole New Energy thing is all about. This is the best introduction and all around guide to the subject in existence (outside of the Black Project world, that is.....).



Hello all. I am currently a post-doctoral fellow at Oxford University in Oxford. I built this device as described to obtain my PhD at Oxford University in Oxford and I am now currently powering my Oxford flat with a Meg as described in the book. T.E. Bearden is clearly the smartest man on Earth. As Bearden says, "The efficiency E of a system is a ratio less than or equal to 1.0 (or percentage less than or equal to 100%), where E indicates a percentage of the TOTAL input energy (for all sources) that is dissipated in the load as useful work." This statement, to me, proved his sheer genius. My device provided me enough energy to fly to the sun without getting burnt and it is super hot-like. I would totally go gay for T.E. Bearden.
I am considering his ideas, although I haven't waded through it all yet. If he spent as much time on theory and applications as he does on ridiculing his critics, it would be much better.
I give this book 5 stars because it makes me think. I have been researching harmonic resonance for years and this book is like having a friend looking over my shoulder encouraging me to trust my instincts and be brave enough to trying new things without fear of being ridiculed. There should be more books like this that encourage all of us to question those things we currently take for granted. Most of the maths is beyond me, however the author has a nice way of explaining concepts so this isn't a problem. Well done... this book is a keeper.

Just returned this item as it was terrible in keeping liquids warm. on a cross country drive we bot it to keep water warm for a baby bottle. it was terrible. lost heat after a two hours and was completely cold after 4 hours. wished i had bot my thermos brand along. if the stanley company is reading this please note you have SERIOUS QUALITY issues. Felt totally scammed. I would not recommend this product. [...]hope this helps other customers.
Pre-heat it with hot water and stuff stays hot all day.

This product is exactly what I needed, and works exactly like I expected. As a former lab-tech at an electronics review facility, my standards for quality are pretty high, especially when it comes to everyday items.
This bottle I preheated as normal, and with fully boiling water within, was cool to the touch. Stanley claims the jar will keep the contents hot for 14 hours.For the first 3 tests I quickly emptied and refilled the bottle with boiling water, sealed it, and let it sit in various environments (fridge at 30, outdoors at around 40-50, room at 65 (F)) for the full length of time. As this is a food jar, I dont anticipate opening it on a regular day until I need to eat, at which point all of the contents will likely be consumed.
At 14 hours, all the trials yielded warm to fairly hot water, with 2 likely still being hot enough for me to enjoy a soup. I re-tested, this time taking temp at 5 hours, typical lunch break, and the water was very hot in 2 trials. i didnt have my therm on me but it was hot enough for tea and definitely soup.
I was pleasantly surprised by my findings. I also find the size of this container to be ideal for food, as most food jars these days are just too small for a real meal (10oz-16oz varieties abound). The lid represents exactly half of the contents of the jar, so you can split a decent amount of soup between friends or just enjoy half your soup and still have a good amount for later snacking.
This Stanley does have one weakness: the handle. The bottle itself is very rugged, but the handle seems to be spot-welded on, and no doubt a few good drops and it would break off, especially if it is filled. I'd probably be able to solder it back, but I'll be keeping it in my bag for transport.
Overall 4/5, would recommend for commuters and hikers alike.

I previously reviewed the Stanley 1.1qt vacuum bottle, which I am now positive was defective. My experience with the food jar is likely more representative of the quality stanley is known for.
I bought the 24oz. food bottle and also their 1 quart and 2 quart stainless steel vacuum bottles at the same time. These vacuum bottles do exactly what they are is advertized to do. They keep hot foods or drinks hot and cold foods or drinks cold for way over 24 hours AND I think they are practically indestructible! They are so sturdy, they would have to be run over by a semi to actually break them I think. I don't think I'll ever have to replace one again, but I will buy more - for gifts!
I love this thermos. I would love it more if it was not made in China. I fill the thermos with the hot water while I heat my lunch. My food is steaming hot 6 hrs later. One warning, be sure to empty every night. I filled mine one time and did not eat the food. They had a party at work and fed us. I then forgot to bring home my Stanley and clean it out. The next night when I opened it the stopper SHOT OFF and cracked. The food inside had spoiled and fermented. I have ordered a new stopper from Stanley and will be more diligent in the future.

Great tool, i use it to change the oil on my 2000 Volkswagen Golf diesel, keeps me from haveing to climb under the car, and it takes out more oil than just using the drain plug. good sturdy construction and well engineered to make the job clean.
Excellent product. I use it to change oil in both my cars and my lawn tractor.

Oil draining with the extractor is slower than just pulling a drain plug, but is a lot easier and cleaner. Avoiding the crawling under the car to open the crankcase drain plug is worth the price of this extractor.
I used this product with no problems for a couple oil changes
and it was convenient and clean. But then the flexible tube
got a little worn and the flexible plastic sheathing that
covers the spring steel tube developed several cracks.
With the cracks the tube cannot hold a vacuum rendering
the product totally worthless. None of the resellers have
a clue about replacement tubes, and Pela themselves are
totally unreachable. Three times in the last year I've gotten
zero response to email inquiries and the last email simply bounced.
I'd like to recommend this product but can't.

If you're going to buy a Pela extractor then get the one with
the hard plastic tubing rather than the more flexible plastic
covered spring steel tubing. The latter will eventually crack
and then it's done.
I've used this for the past 3 + years. It's saved a bunch of money and time since there's no more taking the car our for the oil change. My only complaint is the tank will tend to collapse with warm oil and some ambitious pumping. The pump itself shows no signs of failing at this point and the check valve on top still works without flaw.

When finished, I raise the tube up to drain into the tank. I wipe it with a rag and then stuff a paper towel into the tank end. I haven't had much trouble with drips. Good product
